Their account was for sale for 6 months The original nutildah was a nem stake holder and early dash adopter (should be wealthy extremely) The old nutildah said he never wanted to use sigs to milk money from the forum The new nutildah is begging for 0.02 btc loans The new nutildah is spamming sign Are you making an allegation that nutildah did sell his account back in September of 2016, or the months following? I would like to see the irrefutable and conclusive proof... Hypocritical much? Assuming you are correct, and lets for the sake of argument say that you are indeed correct (i.e. the person currently in control of the nutildah account is not the same person who was originally,) what scams has this current biological nutildah facilitated? Your foaming at the mouth, spreading this narrative that nutlidah is a scam facilitator, but wouldn't that only apply to the person who sold the account? Apparently the person currently in control of the account is innocent of facilitating any scams. Pretty simple logic, no?

the seed phrase is written on a piece of paper and is hidden in my personal safe. no one can access her. besides this, I specially changed the word order on paper, the correct order is known only to me. ~ Sorry, correct is "i downloaded this electrum from google play. I check it twice.
Well, as hosseinimr93 pointed out, that address appears to belong to a hacker/scammer. It's unlikely your seed phrase was compromised, but it's very likely you did not install the official Electrum app from google. I know you were trying to be careful, but at this point it's the most likely scenario. You can check your google account to see which app you have installed, and compare it to the app to which official Electrum website directs. Here's the official website link: https://electrum.org/#homeAnd, the link to the official app on google play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.electrum.electrumIf you have the real app installed the play store will inform you as such:

Here's a list of exchanges I've used. All are available to US residents, all are legit, all will require KYC. Coinbase. This is the one I use most frequently. https://www.coinbase.com/Binance. I've used this exchange frequently, but have never purchased bitcoin from them. They accept credit cards, though. https://www.binance.com/Bitstamp, another I've used a couple of times. https://www.bitstamp.net/

When you created the wallet did you write down the seed phrase on a piece of paper, and store it somewhere to which only you have access? If you are correct that you don't have a malicious version of Electrum, then I would suspect that someone may have found your seed phrase. Is that possible?
The other thing you said is that you downloaded it from the official site, do you mean you downloaded the APK file, or did you click the link to google play?

The front page of the site says "mixing made simple," and I must admit it's pretty simple. The layout is better now than when I first visited the site. I like htat the mixing buttons are available near the top of the page now, as opposed to only being at the bottom at first. All the pertinent information, including a link to the PGP public key are right there, and that's handy. I hate having to look for that kind of stuff. The mixing page itself is fairly simple, and straight forward as well. Nicely done. I tried the service twice, with different settings on the time delay; one I set for about an hour, and the other I set for instant. Both times the service worked as advertised. The instant transaction arrived as soon as the sent transaction had one confirmation. The only complaint I have about the service are the fees. The service charges a minimum of 0.5%, but the default is set to 4.46%. On top of the service fee there's also fee of .00025 BTC for each transaction/address. This is a subtle note found at the bottom of the page, in fine print: Please note that a 0.25 mBTC fee is added for each destination address to cover miners fee I know the service is new, and wants to turn a profit, but being new and one of the most expensive mixer's isn't likely to make this service as appealing. My overall assessment; MyCryptoMixer seems like a well-designed, simple, and effective mixer, but I find it to be too expensive.

Still available 0.03 btc
I'll take it. Er, um, I guess I already have it, but I'll make it official by paying you for it. Does this mean I pulled a self-escrow? That wasn't the intention. Oh shit, here come the red-tags...

Am I the only one who thinks it's unwise to store the bulk of your wealth in a hardware wallet?
Lets forget about the five-dollar-wrench attack vector for a minute, the the philosophy of a hardware wallet is contradictory to the principals of bitcoin's creation. It's a third party device that we are trusting with our wealth. Don't get me wrong, I use a hardware wallet and don't feel threatened, but lets look at it for what it really is. Ledger's firmware isn't open source, and although highly unlikely, there could be a something malicious embedded in it's code. The Trezor is open source, but that leaves it vulnerable if it's physically attacked.
If I were to make anthologies; I would categorize wallets in this fashion: A hot wallet I would consider as cash in my pocket, a hardware wallet I would consider as a checking account, and a cold wallet I would consider my savings or retirement accounts, and I store my wealth accordingly.

There's nothing you'll be able to do.
A GPU server won't help you. Even if it's only a 12-word seed phrase it'll take your GPU server billions of millennia to go through all the combinations. If it was that easy to crack a wallet every gamer on the planet would be doing it, and bitcoin would be worthless.

Hello all, I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe. Due to the pandemic that is plaguing our world, and the affects it's had on our society, I am temporarily revising my lending policies for all open loans, and announcing that I will not be accepting loan requests from new borrowers for the time being. If you've borrowed from me before, don't have an open loan with another lender, and need help, please feel free to ask. For the currently open loans, interest and due dates have been removed. Please pay back what you can, when you can. To help keep track of payments, I've provided a unique payment address for each borrower. Please make note of your unique address. Once again, please stay safe and healthy. # | || Borrower | || Loan Date | || Loan | || Repayment Address | 57 | || Questat | || 16-JAN-2020 | || 0.04 BTC | || 3CyJLw7B98yETLW3WeP7pDJMcKAVPLLNKx | 59 | || asu | || 6-FEB-2020 | || 0.2625 BTC | || 33hxmTpJRbiqp18kuGhSPwbXxAnRuZexMB | 62 | || Stedsm | || 23-FEB-2020 | || 0.195578 BTC | || 3Hexi7teTCKssWGpXfFdnsB8a7fYqRh8Fx | 63 | || Krislaw | || 25-FEB-2020 | || 0.01716 BTC | || 3NVauT2Dp75TCq7ek2AZBqb3rChFs28N3X | 64 | || 2double0 | || 28-FEB-2020 | || 0.02 BTC | || 3EL7HFZvaCnfSyL8KdJJ5FH8BiQtfuzRx4 | 65 | || efialtis | || 26-FEB-2020 | || 0.111091 BTC | || 3BLkFR2FEhZNN5ASrqBEbPCQCXB1W6aR5o | 67 | || nutildah | || 9-MAR-2020 | || 0.04 BTC | || 3Pa9LLNU1EneeRKd2nzK2F6PeuKwfF5dua | 68 | || Devawnm367 | || 21-MAR-2020 | || 0.021525 BTC | || 333VquawTy76nevQQwkjPjoAs1q8FjGUmE | 69 | || tomahawk9 | || 27-MAR-2020 | || 0.02 BTC | || 3KhMxKHJRFqU7PA67dAzpd7SfirnRQ1MMw |

please answer my question
I mentioned above that this morning I offered to help him out. The offer was to lend him 0.01 BTC, but he refused. ETA: Another thing I mentioned above is that these are unprecedented times. Things aren't business as usual IRL, and therefore we shouldn't expect them to be in our digital lives either. My reaction to the borrower wanting an extension and the lender refusing needs to be taken within the context of our situation; a pandemic that is leaving many lives altered.
|
|
|
I'll always edit my feedback based on the community oppinion
Don't do that. Make up your own opinion and leave tags the way you see fit. As I see it, this wasn't about a loan default, this was about the borrower wanting an extension, and lender refusing. I personally don't see any reason for a red-tag in this scenario.
|
|
|
Now you repaid irfan because of the community pressure, no one should trust you with a loan. Thereby my neg will be not removed as you are a loan defaulter.
I think this is a bit harsh. It's your tag, your choice, but since irfan_pak10 removed his tag, I don't see why anyone else would leave their's. And it's not like elmanchez ran off, he was in communication with irfan_pak10, just requesting an extension that wasn't granted. irfan_pak10, please correct me if I'm wrong, but you posted this: I asked you guys to give negative to prevent further suspicious activity by elmanchez. Will remove feedback once he’ll pay. This seems to me like you were asking DT members to tag elmachez preemptively. Which I think is also harsh, but whatever. That's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it. He's still in debt to DireWolfM14 who was willing to help him out and take on the wait time instead of Irfan. Just want to correct this, elmanchez doesn't owe me anything. I offered to help him out this morning, but he refused because he had money coming in. He then asked me to provide him an escrow account to hold on to his earnings, and to pay back irfan_pak10. As a matter of fact, I owe him. I have ~0.03 of elmanchez's bitcoin in my possession at the moment.

Before you guys get too aggressive against elmanchez, give him a couple of days. He informed me that he'll be earning some BTC in the next day or so, and his priority is to pay back his loan to irfan_pak10. I've been in communication with him, and he's in a tight spot. He's a bit concerned because he's not working right now, but his rent is paid. These are unprecedented times, and it's worth being extra generous to those who need help.
Before this post, the person wanted to pay back. If really payback % than we should remove tag otherwise not. It is not the first time when a defaulter told like this. They may tell this to get a few more dollars from the signature campaign. I get it, the negative marks are valid for now. To elmanchez's credit he's been in communication with irfan_pak10, but I guess irfan_pak10 got tired of giving extensions. I totally understand irfan_pak10's position as well. I wouldn't be sticking up for some one who behaves the way elmanchez has been if it wasn't for the plague that's affecting our entire planet.
