Dobro si to promašao.

3062  Economy / Services / Re: ENG>SPA / PORT > SPA TRANSLATIONS FOR 1 BITCOIN on: July 10, 2021, 08:21:41 AM
Whatever translation task you want to assign to me (regardless of the number of words) will be worth 1 bitcoin.

No doubt about your skill, but perhaps you overestimated yourself a little bit?  Shocked

Svi ste u zadnjih tjedan dana dostigli više forum rankove i sada vjerojatno više nikome ne trebaju meriti a taman smo dobili još jednog merit source-a  Grin
Ili se možda varam?

Varas se. Nisu bas svi postigli zeljeni rang. Ne jos.  Wink

@Ratimov hvala na podrsci.
3065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 08, 2021, 11:44:57 AM
According to marketing theory, the success or failure of a product is determined mostly by its ability to satisfy customers' preferences, needs, and expectations.

The game needs to be enticing to players. It has to be fun, engaging, and obviously entertaining. It is not uncommon for a game to be "perfectly average," but the mechanics are so fun, and the story so compelling, that we keep playing it. There should be elements to a game that make it interesting to play more than once. Multiplayer games are particularly appealing for this reason. In a game, players seek challenge, mystery, and reward all wrapped up in engaging and motivating gameplay.

In my view, the same applies to casino games, except that the focus is much more on the reward rather than on the gameplay.
3066  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallets that don't require identity verification on: July 07, 2021, 11:03:26 PM
Oh yes, there is definitely a threshold. If you are just starting out, you probably have nothing worth keeping in a hardware wallet.
It's not that I'm against hardware wallets, I'm just saying that for beginners, any respectable software version of the wallet or mobile application is probably sufficient. Isn't that better than keeping coins on an exchange? Yet many people do exactly that.
The main problem is that a large number of users don't pay much attention to their security, so when you say "any respectable software version of the wallet or mobile application" you are thinking theoretically and of course that works fine but realistically we see that people who want to download a wallet like Electrum end up downloading a fake Electrum and lose their funds to that, simply because they didn't take a very basic step to verify its signature!
Although it is still possible that they buy a fake or tampered with hardware wallet too but the chances are lower since it has to be bought elsewhere like on Craig's list or something which is already shady.

You made an good point, and so did HCP (I'm glad he mentioned alternative methods as well). A hardware wallet is definitely a safer option, especially for less technical and less experienced users. Of course, at the end of the day, hardware wallets are not perfect. For example, you have to remember to keep a backup of your private keys in a safe place, and you'll probably want to store the hardware wallet in a location that's more secure than your living room. But it's still much safer than keeping your Bitcoin in someone else's hands (like exchange and custodial web wallets).
3067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 07, 2021, 08:30:51 PM
Finally England concede a goal in this championship! A good game started immediately... Judging by the game, Denmark have no chance in this match, but they did well! Thanks to them, we can see beautiful football!
Yeah, it looks like Denmark became the first team in this championship who scored a goal against England. Both teams are looking more aggressive in the second half, but I wouldn't be surprised if we'll see another penalty shootout. By the way, did anyone bet Denmark player scores own goal?

I agree. I think someone said that this would be a straightforward match for England?  Cheesy

Denmark is holding up well. It appears that no one reaches the semifinals of the EURO competition through sheer luck.

Smiley

If I were to suggest an amount of Bitcoin you're holding starting from which purchasing a Trezor is worth it, it would probably be $500.
... Otherwise I don't think there is any threshold for how much bitcoin you own before you buy one of these hardware wallets.
I would have to agree with this. There is no threshold.

When I first started looking at hardware wallets 5 or so years ago... I was also of the impression that it was a bit pointless spending $60 on a device if I only had $50 worth of Bitcoin... and then Bitcoin went from $500 to $20000 Tongue

Being properly prepared and setting yourself up properly to start with is a much better idea than suddenly worrying about having potentially life changing sums of money secured by a password on your desktop PC... which you also use for browsing the web, watching netflix/porn and playing games etc.

Or stuck in some shitty web wallet Tongue

3076  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallets that don't require identity verification on: July 04, 2021, 09:59:03 PM
Hello everyone can you please recommend me reliable online wallets that do not require identity verification. In the future I will buy a hardware wallet like Treasure but for now I am looking for temporary free wallet. Thank you.

You can find a list of some of the more popular web wallets here. As others have said, web wallets are not the ideal solution for those looking to store large amounts of crypto. If you really have no other alternative, I suggest you choose a non-custodial service. In that case, at least you will have access to private keys or a seed phrase that you can later import into a software wallet, such as Electrum.
3077  Other / Meta / Re: A suggestion for Highlighting Posts. on: July 04, 2021, 09:36:27 PM
Before looking for a solution, a problem has to exist or an existing system becomes inadequate, I don't think either is the case here. The merit system has been working effectively for a long time now and there's no real shortage of merits to go around (although it's been a while I saw a source ask for more smerits). Creating an upvote-downvote system is not really necessary and could complicate the entire merit system.

If I understand correctly, worldofcoins believes the problem exists in distinguishing quality and valuable posts on the forum from all the other posts which are in many cases just signature spam.

Although I partially agree with this opinion, I am not sure whether the upvote / downvote system would have the desired effect. Such a system would favor like-minded posts on a particular topic and would suppress any opinions that goes beyond general consensus.
3078  Economy / Speculation / Re: Germany is about to allow legally the funds to invest in crypto, from July 1st on: July 04, 2021, 09:06:16 PM
I know that they have the laws in regards to being involved in the cryptocurrency space and that they require registration etc. So I'm not that surprised that they are going to be investing their money into crypto. I believe as long as they are putting up more application and investments towards cryptocurrency, it's going to be better for everyone of us involved in this space.
Well, it's best to think that these government being friendly onto crypto are just gradual step for more worldwide adoptions. I mean Germany is a global leader and seeing they are that legally fine with it makes other countries think they may are out of the trend, just my two cents.

Maybe everything can be right, that Germany became a friendly country with Crypto and clearly encouraged Germany to further increase adoption of Bitcoin. But do we not look dependent on one of the countries?

It isn't like that. Germany is a big country with a lot of capital. If all Spezialfonods decided to put 20 percent of their investments in bitcoin, that would represent about a third of the total market capitalization of the cryptocurrency. Imagine what such demand would mean for the price of bitcoin.

Of course, this is an extreme case, which will probably never happen, but it's fun to think about.

A new German fund positioning law (Fondsstandortgesetz) will come into force on July 1, 2021, which will allow 4,000 Spezialfonds to invest in crypto assets.  Back in April, Germany passed a new law that will allow some 4,000 existing institutional investment funds to qualify to invest in cryptocurrency assets.  Managers of institutional investment funds, known as Spezialfonds, will be able to allocate 20% of their funds to crypto assets.  It applies both to existing Spezialfonds and to new Spezialfonds set up by institutional investors such as financial institutions, insurance companies and pension funds.

Message interpretation:

1. Germany is a country that is very keen on regulatory compliance.  Back on November 29, 2019, the German Bundestag passed a law allowing banks to sell and store cryptocurrencies.  The law takes effect on January 1, 2020.  The law also requires cryptocurrency exchanges and hosting service providers operating in Germany to apply to the government for permission.

2. Financial services firm ETC Group became the first company to launch a Bitcoin ETP on the German stock exchange in 2020, after the German financial regulator BaFin recognized cryptocurrencies as financial instruments.  Since then, bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETPs) have proliferated on exchanges in Germany.  Cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase has received approval for cryptocurrency custodial services in Germany.  On the news, Coinbase went straight higher.

Germany is a highly developed industrial country with the largest economy in Europe and the fourth largest in the world.  On July 1, a new German law came into effect that will allow institutional investment funds to invest in crypto assets.  Analysts believe that while it is unlikely that all eligible funds will be required to allocate to bitcoin, the effect of the law on opening up exposure opens up new possibilities for the crypto market.  In theory, Spezialfonds alone could have as much as 350 billion euros ($422 billion) to tap into the crypto market

Ako da, slobodno ga prijavite.
Ako nema novih prijedloga, budem malo sam prošao po forumu i nagradio neke druge postove koji to zaslužuju.

Davno sam se ovde poslednji put prijavio..
