3062  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gods/Divinity is no way anyhow humanist on: January 03, 2019, 12:40:06 PM
Actually, they (anomalies) only show that entropy has been slowed down. Some of the slowing is in the form of temporary reversals.

Cool

entropy slowed down?

so entropy was stronger beforehand and now since anomalies can be observed you think entropy slowed down or decreased in magnitude? any idea why?

you personally prove for yourselves the existence of divinity by observing anomalies in reality that disprove entropy
3065  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-01] Bitcoin on Track to Replace Gold as Dominant Store of Value on: January 03, 2019, 12:27:21 AM
Bitcoin on Track to Replace Gold as Dominant Store of Value: Crypto VC

Venture capitalist Lou Kerner says bitcoin is well on its way to replacing gold as the dominant store of value, noting that its market cap has already surpassed that of silver.

“What [bitcoin] has evolved into is a store of value,” Kerner told Bloomberg. “Today, the main store of value is gold. It’s an $8 trillion [market]. Bitcoin today is around $60 billion, so it has an opportunity to actually replace gold as the dominant store of value.”

Kerner doubled-down on his remarks from August 2018, when he predicted that BTC would supplant gold as the most trusted store of value.

Crypto Will be ‘Bigger Than the Internet’
Kerner, the founding partner of New York-based CryptoOracle, said despite the current bear market, crypto would be a far more disruptive technology than the Internet.

“The disruption from that is gonna be bigger than the disruption that we saw from the Internet,” Kerner predicted. “Bitcoin is kind of the early leader, like the Yahoo of its day. And while it’s a massive thing, it’s not the thing [right now].”

But in 20 years, BTC and crypto will be off-the-charts, Kerner claimed.

“We really believe that in 20 years, bitcoin will have created trillions of dollars in value similar to how the Internet has,” he said. “We’re at the very beginning today.”

When asked why the bitcoin price has plunged from its record high of $19,500 last December, Kerner said it’s because the market got ahead of itself due to unchecked capitalism.

Kerner said virtual currencies and blockchain would eventually prove that they are far more revolutionary than first imagined.

“There’s something called Amara’s Law, which is that the impact of all great technological changes is overestimated in the short run, but underestimated in the long run,” he said.

Basically, Kerner is saying that the true impact of crypto and blockchain won’t be known until 20 years into the future.

a store of value doesnt drop 80 percent during a year, for me it looks more like a fanatic cult group of sectists.

3067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Blockchain technology could be used for registration of land or property? on: January 02, 2019, 10:40:22 PM
Blockchain tech for buying and selling, Do you think this is a possible approach?

Pros and Cons after implementing this method across the globe. What would be the impact in the market?

jes but you cant claim holding property over something just because its on the blockchain, it has to be supported, by a state or other military power so you have the legal backing that its your property otherwise you simply live of the mercy of others.
3068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 In Bitcoin [ The Year Is Over ] on: January 02, 2019, 05:57:05 PM
it was no rollercoaster year, it was simply a crash year, and it wont be the last one. bitcoins hype is just a bigger version of the doggecoin hype.
3069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL CONDEMNING BITCOINS on: January 02, 2019, 10:37:04 AM
I think it is mostly governments opposing bitcoins. They do not want to lose power over the economy, and bitcoin will make the economy decentralised.

thats not true, bitcoin has many opponents, bitcoin is trash, its the forum morality police that prevents you from seeing that.
3070  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian - Merry Christmas to all!!! on: January 02, 2019, 09:38:48 AM
Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The above list can be also applied to Muslims or Jews with small corrections.  Just replace the atrocities, name of the holy book and the name of the religion.  All other details apply equally.

PS.  Few bonus signs:

1. You constantly reinterpret and redefine words like slavery, stoning, killing or murder to make sense of the sadistic passages in the Bible.
 ... more to follow ...

there is not just right and wrong when it comes to religion, they might all be correct, they are simply different frequencies
3071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To save bitcoin - stop buying bitcoin cash on: January 01, 2019, 12:47:28 PM
This dump was triggered by the battle of the hashes. If we remove bch and bsv from having any value it would discourage more pointless bitcoin dilution, and prevent further hash wars.

Failure to act will cause more similar situations in the future

another proof for lack of social support, bitcoin has been created for a market not a civilisation  Roll Eyes
3072  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can corruption be ended in today's world? on: January 01, 2019, 06:22:19 AM
I am reading everywhere about corrupt governments, corrupt police, corrupt law, etc.
How can regular people put an end to this?
Do you think there ever going to be a "clean", free of corruption world? People with no financial interests?

corruption will always exist, as consumption to consumption capacities will always be limited and rationed.

take cryptoindustry for example.

its indexation system is basically purely corruption based.

only highly corrupt cryptocurrencies rise to the top, because they were able to bribe themsleves to the top of the index.
3073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: When Should You Hire an ICO Marketing Agency? on: January 01, 2019, 05:19:54 AM
That is true - STOs are the ICOs of the next generation. More secured. And by the way if you are the one who is planning to launch your own ICO/STO - i strongly recommend flexe.io/p96. These guys were really good and DO understand how fund raising works.

you mean those securities?

oh boy, people will quickly realise that they are constantly are being scammed, because those that issue securities get rich, those that dont and work for "securities", stay poor
3074  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency tokens that pay out monthly dividends on: January 01, 2019, 05:00:54 AM
I've been trading crypto for a while and I stumbled upon this very interesting article.

https://medium.com/cryptocontrol/announcing-the-ccio-token-87ec10e1bb7e

What I found interesting was the they were building a trading terminal which is designed to be a lot like what Bloomberg and Reuters have. I was thinking about looking into the token that they've created which looks like something worth investing into.

I ran a background check on their sitecryptocontrol.io and they seem like a legit company, with some very interesting tools. Also, they are looking to do an ICO by 2022, which makes them even legit.

these types of token are extremely risky, because the businessmodel basically promotes its own scam, those that run a business unsustainably, will get a lot of investors for a ponzi sceme hitand run ico

3076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do if my bitcoin has been stolen, and where should i complain ? on: January 01, 2019, 01:11:39 AM
Hi Friends, actually one of my BTC address from Zebpay account having almost 0.01550 BTC has been hacked and the amount has been stolen just few days ago. The amount was not quite big for me, but i really fear about the security of holding the BTC in exchanges and now even in wallets.

I Just want to know is there any ways i can get back my BTC back to my account and also is there any website or authority who can help me out in getting back my stolen BTC, let me know about it. Also let me know what safety measurement should i take while holding my BTC in Exchanges. Thanks in advance.

bitcoin is anti state, dont expect to get state/bank funded police to protect you
3077  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American Capitalist Media gets out of controll and Mad on: December 31, 2018, 07:12:30 PM
It is called "clickbait", and it is the result of the fierce competition among internet companies, groups and people to get more attention to their content.

Was there a hole on the ISS? How could I know for sure?

It would seem phenomenally dumb to put a hole there as even the sabotager himself could eventually die if all oxygen is gone.  But then again humanity has been plagued by its fair share of idiots throughout history...

but not into space, i mean the people that are put into space are suveiled, thats clearly a clickbait, and clickbait are trashy journalism since they will leave all taboos.

russian state television is more comfortable to watch nowadays than western capitalist media.

3080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Question] What will happened to Bitcoin if there's no miner? on: December 31, 2018, 09:19:25 AM
I'm not really that good about cryptocurrencies especially the technical stuffs so I would like to know to every what will happened to Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies.

These past few months a news spread in the forum that the miners or owners of mining rigs are closing their rigs because of the continous fall price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and some of them are changing what are they going to mine.

I've read some articles online that to maintain the its network is by having a decentralize network of miners what if there are no miners left? What will happened to network and to the bitcoin?

it stops existing
