3081  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 vaccination becoming a criteria to live in the world on: September 16, 2021, 09:55:56 AM
They will really implement that for most countries because they all want to go back now to our old lives when there's no need for mask. Since there's a lot of vaccination that are on-going and there's a lot of choice to make.

You'll be required for most establishments to be one. And for those that still don't like to take a jab, they'll now be deprived of choice because these establishments and services will require someone upon entering a vaccine card.

Unfortunately, most governments may really require travelers being vaccinated. This is just to ensure that their population is safe from further infection. And this will truly limit the movement of some people who don't want to get the vaccine. Because it is still up to your choice but then again, you need to accept the consequences involved like traveling may be limited.
Well, that's really unfortunate for those that don't want to take the vaccine. Even if we don't really want to take vaccines or we're sympathizing with them.

There's nothing much that we can do about it because most governments are having this kind of protocol and rule for their citizens and as well as travelers that may come to their country.
3082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Thing is about Bitcoin on: September 16, 2021, 08:21:08 AM
Bitcoin is truly for everybody. But the thing is that people that just knew bitcoin lately, they're looking at the price to be expensive and they can't bear with it because that's the first impression that they look at. They ignore the facts about its past and charts and that's where they're sticking.

For example, at 2017 -2018 if you are invested in btc then right now you can collect a huge amount to use like in education , in health, in your family or your future plan.
This is a bit off the comparison, there were many investors in those years that probably have sold a lot and didn't buy back because of the situation that has happened in 2018 which was very bearish. And instead of buying during that time, they thought that bitcoin was about to end.

~
They've lost a lot and that makes them worst because of the mental breakdown that it has given them. But for those totally rich gamblers that are losing thousands to millions, it's just another typical day for them.
Yes there are professional gamblers who wage millions but there are only a few that does that in a professional way. From what i saw in a documentary those who do professional gambling in sports, they are not even allowed to wage in any bookies because they know they are bad business for them and they usually shut them out and these professional gamblers would hire people to wage a bet on their behalf. It is a tricky game but those are a selected few that does these and the rest are just casuals .
Talking about professional like those poker tournaments, these professionals are wise and they'll secure for themselves before wagering that much that they can't afford to lose. In that case, some are just going away with a decent amount and take it home.

I don't know that there's such a rule about these professional bettors. Because from what I know, they're free to bet wherever they want but if there's really a golden rule that stops them.

I find it as an odd thing since casinos, bookies and the others allows everyone to gamble as it's nature of their business.

3085  Economy / Marketplace / Re: News, will it go up a bit? on: September 15, 2021, 10:34:41 PM
Are they big in their country?

Greyp is a sister company of Rimac Automobili. Rimac Automobili is known for its ultra-exclusive electric hypercars such as the world's fastest-accelerating all-electric production supercar, Rimac Nevera. Rimac holds a 55 percent share in the Bugatti-Rimac joint venture while Porsche owns the remainder.

Quote
Rimac Automobili is a technology powerhouse manufacturing electric hypercars and providing full technology solutions to global automotive manufacturers.

https://www.rimac-automobili.com/

Thanks, that's sure a lot of information about that company so that makes them big and with this adoption, they're going to contribute and add to the adoption a little by little. It may not that as fast as immediate.

But at least, they've got something to offer.

Although the OP did not include a link informing news of electric bicycle manufacturers (Greyp Bikes) supporting or accepting bicycle purchases using BTC, ETH and some other coin
There's a link and quote that has posted above our posts.

3086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CoinMarketCap a scam? on: September 15, 2021, 09:54:47 PM
It's about its standard and there must be some statisticals requirement from CMC itself why it's like that.

As you compare, take a look at the other websites just as the same as CMC to compare if there's a lot of difference or it's also the same as CMC that you're looking at.

It's not a scam, just as the others that only shows status and data of different cryptocurrencies.
3087  Economy / Marketplace / Re: News, will it go up a bit? on: September 14, 2021, 11:59:05 PM
Are they big in their country? let's say that they are but even if they're a big company, that's not enough to make the price goes up for the cryptocurrencies that they've purchased.

But let's look at the brightest side of these adoptions, there are becoming many of these companies that are starting to purchase their crypto assets and at the same time accepts crypto for payments, very good news.
3088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: September 14, 2021, 11:08:07 PM
I will never use the word Greatest in this part , Losers never become greatest mate that is a contradicting word  Grin
That's okay if you don't want to use that word. But you can use that also in negative form and these lose have been the biggest of them all if not, they're part of the biggest.

but those are surely the worst gamblers recorded and not greatest  Grin
They've lost a lot and that makes them worst because of the mental breakdown that it has given them. But for those totally rich gamblers that are losing thousands to millions, it's just another typical day for them.
3089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News! VISA considers accepting crypto payments in Brazil on: September 14, 2021, 10:36:46 PM
If they're about to do that certainly in Brazil, that's like a pilot testing for them to see if it's going to be effective with a country that has a massive population.

Still a good news but until it's finally working there, there's no effect that will make the market move upwards because of this news. However, we're all still bullish with or without this news.
3090  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Influence the Bitcoin Market on: September 14, 2021, 09:50:45 PM
4.   You must have the capital to put in and make yourself known as “Elon Musk did”[/b]
Elon is popular and has a lot of following. Even if you don't have bitcoin but you have millions of people following you, you can still make the market shake.

But on this case, I think that we're better today and with the upcoming years and there will be lesser influence from these personalities when the market becomes more stable.
3091  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need admin of Bitvest to come here and explain! ( Not paying my winning) on: September 13, 2021, 11:54:37 PM
just an update, while I was waiting for them to process it I actually even won more. Now the balance is 3 btc lol
That's a lot and with the average bankroll that they show on their website, it's more than enough to pay you.

You have to wait until any of the admin or owner goes to you and allows you with your withdrawal. They'll fill the hot wallet or process your withdrawal manually.
3092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 13, 2021, 10:53:08 PM
Bitcoin in April 2022 will hit $70k, the last bull run in this period. After that it will drop to $20k. But this is only limited to my analysis, if we are guided by the history of 2018.
There's no assurance with what you've said. Even if you add analysis on it, tech or fundamental, still it's unknown whether that price will happen by that exact date that you've given.

@OP, it's impossible to know what's the next price for 2022. We're all giving opinions and speculations about the price of bitcoin but we do all agree that hopefully it will be a positive one.
3093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm back into Bitcoin! on: September 13, 2021, 10:03:53 PM
Congratulations, not everyone is able to retrieve their bitcoins if it's been on their hard drives for a long time. And yes, you should get a hardware wallet if you want to and I also own one because it's a good way to store your bitcoins. My suggestion either Trezor or Ledger Nano S. I own the Nano S version and there's some issues with Nano X.

Reference: Ledger Nano X Battery Pandemic

But if you have decided not to buy one, make sure that you're keeping the private key or seeds of it in a safe place, take note of it on a piece of paper that you'll keep and make sure to do a backup. Better not back it up on your cloud storage and email.
3094  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you notice how corporations took over the internet ? on: September 13, 2021, 09:04:22 PM
Yeah, I've noticed that. It's being used for propaganda and other way to distract and destruct what's currently we're having. These media companies have migrated to the internet and they have no choice because they'll be left behind.

Well, we just got used to it and these corporations that have been using all their might to adopt the evolution like with the internet. I think there's no way to stop their reign and we just have to accept the fact that we should be choosy on what content we have to read, watch and search.

Besides the migration of large companies to the internet, people who have long been selling and looking for income on the internet have been crushed by greater influence. We know that any company must be able to keep up with the times and not be left behind in the financial sector on the internet and create a kind of network, a community whose role is to encourage the company to be better known. Until finally, what was neglected were local products.
It's the sad truth that there's this mentality from everyone that they don't like to use local products. I think this is a problem not just to be shouldered alone by the government but as well as its citizens. There should be a call for support for the local products and those young entrepreneurs that are residing in your country. Especially in these trying times, a lot of people have been doing everything in the internet and selling things that they possess just to sustain their needs.

The large companies will just continue to supply, manufacturer and sell those products that they have with ease. While the other businesses and startups that just got in, they'll go through with a hard start and if they have the same product or goods as the large and established companies, they cannot bear the competition.
3095  Economy / Gambling / Re: wanna start your crypto casino ? casinostart.io on: September 12, 2021, 11:57:03 PM
Not a good way to run a business, if you are serious about running and promoting your business here in Bitcointalk, you should always log in and be present and check for any queries if there are any, there are allegations and accusations but unfortunately, OP ignored the presence of this business here, so I think this thread is dead and business should be ignored for lack of assistance.
There are many of those type of threads that have been made on this section. They offer or ask something and when they're answered, they don't get back to those that have given them an answer.

And to those that plans to have their own casino, it's not an easy business. There are many factors to be considered before building one, it's not just because someone offers that they can build it for you, it ends there, no.
3096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Bitcoin hardware wallet to use as a vault for a company? on: September 12, 2021, 10:55:28 PM
As you purchase and choose if it's Ledger, getting a Ledger Nano S is already sufficient. I've read this thread about some bug or issues that have been happening with the X version.

Thread: Ledger Nano X Battery Pandemic

In my own experience, Ledger Nano S is still good and it's on my possession for years.
3097  Economy / Speculation / Re: The indices that makes bitcoin price on: September 12, 2021, 10:05:59 PM
Do not be surprised when you see bitcoin drops huge because we've been seeing it pump very fast and the counterpart and equal and balance reaction of it should also be that huge when it drops.

The very good thing about this is that we've seen the drop as soon as possible because if we're still not seeing it yet come. A bigger drop might occur because that's the typical movement of bitcoin when it goes up.
I think the highest deep in Bitcoin price has already happened when Bitcoin crashed from above 52k to 45k last week Tuesday; I believe the rest of the month will be more of a recovery phase for Bitcoin.
It's not actually the deepest that has happened. There's this, $62k down to $28k-$29k. That was the crash that has happened several months ago and it had thought everybody as likely the start of the bear market.

But well, goodness, it wasn't the start of the bear market because bitcoin still had recovered and eventually pushed back to $50k just this weeks ago.

In the reality, there's no free lunch. In the internet, there's no free access. All of us have been cheated by the design of internet which interest full of our attention in 24 hour. We spent our whole life more than 50% with the internet. The corporation designed this innovation looks like really ease us but behind of this, they ask pay for our whole time and psycology. Propaganda is one of kind side effect which is supported by the corporation. We will blame each other just because one side that we looked, but the corporation hides the biggest secret just for their own profit.
I don't think that's a cheat. It's about the new way of gaining information and internet really is something that we need. Before it's just a want but now, it became a necessity. Not just only for businesses but also in our daily life. Well, it's a fact that mostly doesn't have free access but there are some places that do provide it for free and people are talking advantage it.

20 years ago I think, when it was like a new thing and majority were staying away on it as they don't know how to use it.
3099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice multiplayer theory on: September 11, 2021, 11:43:26 PM
AFAIK, there's no mutiplayer in dice. If that's what you're asking then just keep loving dice despite having no multiplayer on it but you can still enjoy it on your own.

I am not 100% sure what OP meant by multiplayer but I think there are dice games which are basically multiplayer. For example, there are live dice games. That is a multiplayer dice game because you are not the only player who is in the game. Other players are also placing bets on the same roll that you are placing your bet on.
Probably of what he meant about multiplayer is that he can really play against any other dice players that are active on that time. The same as other betting mechanisms, there are the other players that actively bets depending on the game but I think that's not what multiplayer means because there should be an interaction with other players like players-to-players too.

As to PVP in dice I haven't heard of it. There might be one, who knows? I haven't played in one, though, but it sounds interesting. Rather than play against the house, why not play against another player?
I don't know also but afaik, there's none in existence. Maybe another project that's building a decentralized casino can do something like this.
3100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the stupidest thing you have bought for BTC in the past ? on: September 11, 2021, 10:50:23 PM
The example isn't stupid at all, if it's not for the laszlo's pizza, there will be no courage for the others to make transactions for bitcoin. Well, for me, whatever I've bought in the past with bitcoin, I don't want to think of it as stupid. As long as I get to use it and it's really something that helped me out, there's no regret.

Most of the things that I've bought in the past with bitcoin were gifts to my parents so that really makes sense and it's not stupid at all with those purchases I've made with bitcoin.
