I feel they had some technical issues.

They were not informed on time that the other exchanges had done a coin swap.

So after all swap is done successfully ?
And now we can withdraw coins to make masternodes?
Is it everything ready and working?
Anyone tried to make master?

i have withdraw from c-cex and yobit and am staking.

masternodes will not become operational til the 16th.. i assume some particular block number ??
can we have some more info on when more precisely?
due to international timezones, the 16th is nearly 48hrs long ?? lol i've never thought of that before

I think we should relax a bit, lets give the DEV a bit of time to rest, whether it is 16th or 17th.

I don't know if masternodes are ready to use yet, we have to wait for confirmation from Frazalel.

"Darkcoin is in my opinion more dangerous than mere Bitcoin mixing because masternodes can very easily be DDOSed (masternodes' IP are broadcasted in plain text). This means that any sufficiently motivated organisations ("SMO", read: a lot of money, like many government agencies throughout the world, the NSA being far from the only one) can just buy a lot of DRK, set up a lot of masternodes and, using their massive computing power, execute a DDOS on the masternodes they don't own until the masternode's owners give up - this being done over time, to not make the DRK user suspicious, which is all that easy since masternoding naturally encourages killing the competition, since less competition means more money for you, much like the poolmining economy. Once all the other masternodes have given up, the remaining ones are the SMO's masternodes and then the fun begins. Another possibility is to simply issue a subpoena duces tecum (civilist countries have something similar) tied to legal interdiction to ever mention the subpoena (FISA warrant, anyone?). From this point on, honeypotting is just the way to go to gather enough data to convict as much users as possible later on."

There is no proof that the sole intention of Masternodes is for anonymous transactions. Masternodes are also used to speed up transactions, through instant (I hope that I am correct?).
There might be other practical use of Masternodes in the future.

Bittrex charges money for swaps, to discourage many applications
3107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OC] Orangecoin v2.0.3 ✦ PoS ✦ Anon ✦ Masternode on: January 14, 2016, 02:56:53 AM
In the last 24 hours, I've been in contact soopy to hammer out the details of swapping the dev fund and to answer some questions I had. While we aren't voting on it yet, start to think about what we should do with any unswapped Citrus. If we aren't burning the leftovers and we decide to use the coin for a dev fund, they will most likely be sent to me as treasurer to use for development -- at which point I wouldn't need to swap the dev fund since the leftovers from the swap already included the current OC dev fund in the amount I'd be receiving -- if this swap is done on the exchange(s). So it eventually makes a difference what we do with the leftovers. Right now, it's only the OC community that have a say in what happens to the leftovers. Once we swap and get new Citrus investors in, we as old blood will lose some of that "say". Do we want to have this part of the plan figured out now or after we swap? That's also something to think about.

Now folks, it's completely normal to have questions or concerns. I have had a few I've been sitting on while I watch the forum, but I've since answered most of them by thinking to myself. If you have questions or concerns, ideas or whatever, please feel free to talk them out with us here, publicly or through PM. These are your coins, your investment, your future. We'll try to answer your questions as best as we can. Smiley

Thank you for everyone's continued support!

I have seen a lot of ups and downs with other coins in regards to the 'leftovers'.

Are we talking about the people who have either lost their wallet passphrases, or equipment AKA computer, hard drive, Etc. failure?

Leftovers as in the PoS Stake that has not been 'staked' or 'claimed'?

Leftovers as in...Huh

The Swap, what time frame are we looking at/how will this be done or announced besides the usual SM/New forum OP thread(s) those usually bring attention?

If we can figure out how many coins are still active (Yes including PoS), minus the total mined(50 Million Coins POW Initial Distribution(not counting PoS)), and figure out what we are 'burning' and then provide the total of ACTUAL active coins..... how are we going to prove that we deleted the tokens? Post a video? As for vote post something

Then say we did all of that, and of course we are going to come in less then the OP Spec Total of coin mined mathematically possible (50 Million Coins POW Initial Distribution (again not counting PoS)), wouldn't that help us? Will we include that in the Spec or update the Spec?

Then could we, as a bonus, reinstate the increased PoS since there will be less coins available? Just an idea to bring excitement again to newcomers/investors

I don't know I am thinking and typing at the same time, coming up with questions. Thinking out side of the box. Or I might just be confused?

Cheers!

-Raven
I know that I may not sound democratic, but I prefer that all coins that have not been claimed (swapped) after a one month period should be burnt.
There are coins that appear to be forgotten/lost, that will never be recovered.

I'm not having any issues with the network.. My wallet has been running and staking all day. Master nodes aren't running yet.
I have the same problem

lol. that doesnt make sense.

but masternodes are not working yet. so change your droidz.conf so you can stake them until they do work.
either comment out or change value

#staking=0
or
staking=1
How do we create more awareness about Droidz?
3109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DRZ] [DROIDZ] [ANTI-INSTAMINE] - A FRESH NEW START - WALLET UPDATES!!! on: January 13, 2016, 07:09:09 PM
100k sent as stated here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1292142.msg13537455#msg13537455

Leaving 1380828.54340506 DRZ in the main wallet just like I said  Grin

the 1.38 mill will go to Escrow next for that phase of the swap.

What should we do with the 50k in the second wallet.

Do we leave it staking for a while to help the network

or

Do we send it too the Main wallet ready to be sent with the 1.38 mil to the Escrow
What if you send 45k and leave 5k staking in the wallet to support network?
3110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DRZ] [DROIDZ] [ANTI-INSTAMINE] - A FRESH NEW START - WALLET UPDATES!!! on: January 13, 2016, 05:40:29 AM
Well.. Partial success.  I have 10,000 DRZ in my new wallet, however, when following the instructions for setting up a Masternode, I get this:

Error: could not allocate vin for collateralAddress

I do have a .conf file with all the information in it...
I do have the wallet unlocked...

Hmm..
BRAVO

Please do us a favour, if you cannot create masternode yet, please just sync and stake your wallet, so that it supports the network for everybody else  Wink

I'm also waiting on a withdrawal from C-Cex...
I would wait a bit, I feel that the exchanges need to ensure that things are working fine. It is OK for them to halt all deposits and withdrawals for a certain time period.

The DEV has only one pair of hands, lets be patient with him.
3112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DRZ] [DROIDZ] [ANTI-INSTAMINE] - A FRESH NEW START - WALLET UPDATES!!! on: January 13, 2016, 04:07:13 AM

There is no need for a manual coin swap at this point. What you do is re-use the same wallets. It's called wallet forward compatibility. It's quite simple to do. You create a new blockchain, premine all the old coins, send the coins back to the same addresses that first owned them and then make sure to keep the original blockchain to maintain transparency of coin creation.

The coin swap process should require no participation from anyone.

The exchanges and users would simply backup their wallet.dat, upgrade the software and then copy the wallet.dat into the new directory. Paper wallets would work the same as before. Import the private key and your coins are still there at the same address.

All transparency is lost in manual coin swaps making the cryptocoin nothing more than fakeness.

it is possible that the devs will fudge the swap to their own benefit, i hope with your obvious concern you will ensure that they are kept fair and honest Smiley

please devs, after the exchange swaps, we will require a comprehensive history of all manual transfers and remaining pre-mine. thank you.

lol, and don't forget that the chain will be running the entire time of manual swap and minting new coins. this is outrageous Cheesy
We have only 5% POS on the old chain. The minted coins are insignificant - at least we have somebody that is trying to move things forward.

Why aren't you going to follow the Transparent Coin Swap Guidelines?

This coin is now marked as a high risk scam coin.

What do you mean. We have been transparent and the start of the swap has not even started yet . We have our own way.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1292142.msg13498227#msg13498227

So we are Scamming because Huh We took over droidz and bettered it. or because we said we would provide all burn addresses. Or because the escrow bit will be after the exchanges.

And where are you getting your guidelines from. As I was aware There is No Transparent Coin Swap Guidelines Crypto is not regulated so saying that just sounds bloody stupid. We need T&C's too ?

Did you invest in this coin?

A lot of coins have already been swapped at CCEX, and more will be swapped at Yobit. Take your coins to Yobit if you want to avoid manual swap.
The DEV is just doing his best to improve a coin that many other DEVs just abandoned.

Please do not accuse somebody of being fake, just because his method is not perfect, or if he does not use the most recent technology.

I remember you from Orangecoin  Cheesy

Now the wallet on yobit is ok! synced I'm sending

Sent a bit to test if it was ok, but after 15 minutes nothing on yobit and nothing on the chain
Yobit takes a bit of time, wait a little longer, up to 1 hour.
Oh, it's a lot, I go away about one hour now, then I see if what I've sent is on yobit, and I will sent the rest
This is the best method for you to use to send your coins, so that you don't lose much if you initially copied wrong address

No clue why Droidz wouldn't jump on the name and have an adroid staking wallet with this relaunch.
Good idea, but lets wait for DEV to finish swap first.

Its just "incredible" how this coin can still be selling at 6% of its original ICO price of 3700 sats, when DEV team is actively working hard to improve the coin  Huh

Big on the list is the Name Change? do you guys like Citrus? should we vote on it. coins that are doing well now are ones with a single name and no coin association.
