news about the swap?

In not sure what alls involved in the swap but I wouldn't think we will be moving at any great speed. At least we are moving forward though.  It all looks very promising.

I'm about to build for the Rpi2. Anything I need to know? (By no means am I an expert) Do I need to use that qmake use_upnp=1 command to help with the master node, or will that not make a difference?

Also, in some of the other wallets that were built, once I launch them the wallet is bigger than the screen. Anyone know how to fix that prior to build?

Thanks!

Well, if you have installed all the components needed for building the QT wallet, then "qmake", then "make" should do the job Smiley
Regarding use_upnp=1 to help with the master node, I am not sure. use_upnp should help if you have your device behind a router, but I believe you'll have to have a real public IP for running masternode anyway (but would be nice to listen what Frazazel would tell on this topic...).

Also regarding the screen size - I had that problem with some coins too - they have too big wal;et window size, so you have to run them on Full HD screen to be able to work. The new Droidz wallet has many features which would need it to be run on a Full HD screen, so I am not sure you would really want to decrease the size. Looking through the code, you could see a lot of places where the window sized are hardcoded and optimized for 1920x1080, so it seems to me you should run it on Full hd screen only, otherwise you will have a hard time making use of its features Smiley

I Cannot see you building without the UPNP option causing issue's (However saying that i have never personally tried to see what happens when you use UPNP or Not other than it helping with Routers which most tend to have UPNP turned on automatically. But saying that everytime i build a Qt wallet UPNP is always used.

If you would just like shall we say the peace of mind then include it. Does that help.

We can certainly look into how big it's displayed when you first open But once you wish to use the tabs you will have to make it bigger unless we make everything smaller (which may cause issue's with others).

there isnt any issue compiling and running it without upnp active ( or compiled in the build ) with the old build - or any of the builds i have running on most other coins and the older code of drz ...

the reason is that upnp only really helps to automatically gain an ip address ( dynamically ) ... especially since masternodes require a permanent ip address to run - the best way to get this sorted is open a port on the router - or use a vps with a permanent ip ...

even though i have not successfully compiled the latest code - the upnp option is still exactly the same ... you can compile and run without it - as long as you have the tcp / udp ports open ion the router ( in home systems using a solid internet link ) ...

i compile ALL my wallets / daemon without upnp support - and as long as you have access to the ports - you should run into no issues ... i have all my vps system daemons that i support ( grn - drz - mtr - bst - bnt - and soon egc ) without upnp support and statically compiled daemons on centos 7 x64 vps system ...

the new drz3 code is still giving me issues - though this time its about static boost libraries - which fedora 23 x64 supports but refuses to compile ...

this weekend i will try and compile a static daemon on the vps to see if it works - and if so - will incorporate them as the new nodes ...

the droidz.conf file is the important part here to get right though ... especially as masternodes ...

back in a couple of days Wink ...

just compiling ubuntu daemon.
got a few errors, the makefile "looks" fine but ..

makefile.unix:188: *** missing separator.  Stop.
fixed then >>
makefile.unix:195: *** missing separator.  Stop.
fixed then >>
makefile.unix:200: *** missing separator.  Stop.
etc..

this kept going for all indented lines until the end of the makefile :p
seems to be an issue with indented lines using space rather than tab i think.
fixed by deleting said spaces, and using tab instead.

--
also  had to chmod +X build_detect_platfrom

to build secp256k1 :
extra libraries needed
apt-get install automake libtool
then follow this guide
https://github.com/K1G3C/Droidz-V3/tree/master/src/secp256k1

#note.
i had to "chmod +x autogen.sh"
and the optional "make install" is required in this setup.

--
ha just got confused for a second with github being v3, and using datadir droidz2
(as opposed to using droidz3)

Thats right, see this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1292142.msg13455591#msg13455591.

I suppose Devs had "replace tabs with spaces" option set in their editor, so this caused the problem Smiley

Are you allowed to make commits to Github repository..? I never did that before, but can try if permissions allow...

Its just "incredible" how this coin can still be selling at 6% of its original ICO price of 3700 sats, when DEV team is actively working hard to improve the coin  Huh
