3121  Economy / Economics / Re: will the worlds society now be flooded eternaly with icos? on: April 29, 2018, 12:19:23 PM
This would be inevitable. Even though the crypto market will mature in terms of the people being knowledgeable in crypto trading they would still take advantage of this worthless ICOs in order to make profit. Things such as hyping and blind investing would still be practice in the future in order to make profit and I don't see anything can stop it from happening.

The stock exchange is a good example on how things wouldn't change even if the market participants became knowledgeable. A lot of them are still hyping, spreading news, believing on a worthless company in order to make profit. Not to mention that newbies in trading won't disappear from the market as some of them just follow what other peoples are saying without doing their own research.
3122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warren Buffett on buying bitcoin: 'That is not investing' on: April 29, 2018, 10:19:22 AM
I completely respect the opinion of Warren Buffet, he is basically the man who became a billionaire just by investing in assets such as stocks and real estate. One thing is for sure is that he knows more about investing compared to what we all know. All through out the existence of Bitcoin he kept his opinion at neutral siding with know one but his beliefs on what investments are. His statements always revolves around Bitcoin having no fair market value or it simply hard to put a price on it. Warren Buffet as an investor simply uses fundamental analysis on his buy and sell decisions which he can barely do on whether Bitcoin is a good buy or not because all we have are just news and its historical price charts in order to make a buy and sell decision to Bitcoin which is really in a semi-speculative manner as technical analysis is also involve.
3123  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▰▰▰ LUCKYGAMES.IO ▰▰▰ ✅ 5 Awesome Games ✅ 61 Cryptocurrencies ✅ Daily Contests on: April 29, 2018, 08:59:32 AM
Looks like some selfish peoples need cheap advertisement of signature wearing sites Cheesy no matter who they are.. we love luckygames and cheap peoples getting jealeous because we (luckygames) are growing and now unstopable.

Everyone have rights to express their thoughts in healthy way and compete with logic but looks some peoples don't have any real topic to get attention so they are digging old closed graves Cheesy

For all of them i have only this line ... dogs only knows how to bark so they do always and elephant know how to avoid dogs Cheesy

Welldone team luckygames .. keep good work continue Cheesy
I don't know why you are still saving luckygames when they self-admittedly confessed that they were cheating one of their players:
As he cheated on the website, the fast decision was to cheat on him.
Obviously the game was designed to be that way and the player only have found the loophole and took advantage of it, I cannot even call it as cheating as it wasn't even illegal in the first place. You have admitted on cheating your own player because they are winning. What will you do if luckygames decide to cheat on you because you are winning big? Will you try to save them?

They lost all their credibility just to stop one player for winning. The loophole the player found should have been fixed instead by modifying the game of cheating their own player.
3124  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-28] Court Orders Chilean Banks to Re-Open Crypto Exchange Accounts on: April 28, 2018, 05:52:51 PM
These banks are assholes, they don't even have the right to close bank accounts in the first place, even criminals gets to have full access of their accounts. What is wrong here is that they acted upon themselves, normally banks won't even take action on account closures without any government orders. The cryptocurrency exchanges should also be asking for damages as well, what they did obviously damage their businesses. These banks should also be penalized for acting and abusing their powers without the proper authority of their government.
3125  Other / Meta / Re: Point to notice in merit system to make it a perfect solution. on: April 28, 2018, 05:41:26 AM
I would like to recommend  a system where members can do it as a like (+1)/dislike (-1) feature where you have unlimited input, and can down vote the spammers and moderators can take the final decision (Very much similar to Reddit)
There is already a thread explaining why a Reddit kind of upvoting won't be effective on reducing spam and shitpost as to compared to our current merit system now.

The only way that this Reddit kind of Merit System will work is if the users cannot delete or even edit posts (which is bad) or their is a time lock (let say 3-5 hours) before you can edit or delete your post so that if their posts received several down votes then they won't have the option to save their merits points by deleting their own post. So tell me would you like that kind of system? Where if a good majority of those people disagree or even think your post is shit they will down vote/ demerit it for sure?
3126  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM : arBBot / arbitragebot.net on: April 26, 2018, 04:36:06 PM
The site's design obviously looks like a scam. If you have spent some time with HYIP, Cloud Mining, and Pyramiding scheme sites then you are familiar with their structure and grabbed images from the internet, arBBot has the same thing on what you will see on scam sites as they have different pricing from different packages which is funny as they are guaranteeing a maximum profit for each one, the most expensive claims to give you "unlimited" amount of profit. Another thing is you will notice that all scam sites have the same template on how their sites flows.
3127  Economy / Speculation / Re: After " Destroying Bitcoin " prices went up on: April 26, 2018, 02:48:29 PM
I think the only significant news that can lower the price of Bitcoin is when it is news relating to World War 3 commencing, anything lesser than that is not significant. Why? Because if you are a real trader you are not looking at news feeds but of course its price charts. Remembers price changes happens faster compared than people read the news, which means the price is changing more often even before half the market has read any significant news. People trading cryptocurrencies react and based their buying and selling decisions on the price movements. Cryptocurrecies are not like a stock of a company where you can relate good/bad news directly which will really affect their prices in the future.
3128  Other / Meta / Re: [HELP] Unban Account Request on: April 26, 2018, 01:01:50 PM
Why are you even requesting to remove the ban in your account in the first place if you are breaking another forum rule right now? You can't create or use another account while your other account is banned, what you are doing is ban evasion as stated here in the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ :

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]

Yes there is an exception:
25. If you get banned (temporary or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.
But even this one you still didn't follow as you have posted several other posts outside of the Meta section. So why will we believe that you will read and follow the rules if you have broken your promise as of right now? People like you promise to change and will say a lot of things in order to get what they want. Luckily for us your words are not believable and you are proving yourself as an untrustworthy person.

3129  Economy / Economics / Re: Money vs Barter on: April 26, 2018, 09:41:29 AM
A lot of people here think that the Barter System does not exist anymore because of what they are calling "Coincidence of Wants", well let me prove you wrong because if you look at it money cannot buy everything. Some examples I see on how barter system still exist is in the area of politics where a government is selling their publicly owned companies to private corporations, mainly it doesn't revolve around the selling price but the promise of continuation and better service that only a private corporation can handle. That is why we are seeing transportations, jails, and government projects being handled by corporations in exchange for a better service they can provide compared to the government handling it. Yes is still involves money but the government wouldn't sell it in the first place if they don't have the capacity to handle its operations.

In the small scale one of the commonly most traded things are shoes from sneakerheads. You will see here is that people are trying to trade their Jordans in exchange of another pair of shoes, some will include cash, some will straight trade it shoe to shoe. So you see both large scale and small scale the barter system still works you just need to have a match or agreement with the other party.
3130  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-26] Has Potential to Threaten Fiat: South Korea’s Finance Minister on: April 26, 2018, 06:10:50 AM
I am surprised where a person holding such high position is thinking of something not clearly first before stating something dumb like this. South Korea has been known for being a "Credit Card Country" where you don't necessary need Korean Won in order to buy goods in their country. As we all know credit card is another kind of payment method yet it does not affect the Korean Won in anyway as the money is still going inside the country. Just like what other cryptocurrencies do, as long as the money is going inside a country then it won't affect their own Fiat currency.
3131  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: April 26, 2018, 04:48:36 AM
Agreed the btc price has suddenly shot itself up and this is a massive relief for all gamblers who're waiting for long to play big again but had to take it easy due to the fluctuations happening around. It's really refreshing to see that despite the fluctuations the free gamblers are out in the open and making mulla, ( he has to have a strong heart, that was not a easy bet to place).
But if I am a gambler I won't wait for Bitcoin to go up before I start betting. I would take advantage of the lower price of Bitcoin as my bets are cheaper in terms of its dollar value when it was below 8,000$. Just like what I did when it's prices was low a few weeks ago I bought some Bitcoins and got a lot out of my fiat. Right now if you are planning to be and you don't have any Bitcoin you will be spending bigger compared to when it was cheaper. Another benefit is when you won and hodl it up to now the value of your Bitcoin winnings will increase without even betting.
3132  Other / Meta / Re: What to do if your account has been hijacked on: April 25, 2018, 06:25:56 AM
Nice thread OgNasty but it won't help OP to his problem as the thread talks about account recovery and change of email and basing it from what I am reading is he is now in full control of his account and the problem he is facing is about the removal of the red tags he received from the alleged post not created by him but the one who hijacked his account.

Unfortunately his problem is more difficult to solve as proving that he is not the one who posted the vouches to jaac is hard to do. Not to mention he was tagged by 2 DT members which he needs to convince both of them in order for his account to be clean again.
3133  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to remove my red trust? on: April 25, 2018, 04:26:18 AM
I guess you should try sending a private message to The Pharmacist and hilariousandco instead as they are the ones who gave you the red tag. The Trust network is not moderated by the admins and moderator of the forum so it would be pointless on trying to explain your side of the story. One things for sure you must tell them the truth and not a believable story as you really don't want to try to fool them just so they remove the red tag they gave you. And yeah just to let you know hilariousandco is a global moderator in the forum.
3134  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Japanese Goverment Reviews Proposal to Legalize Initial Coin Offering(ICO) on: April 24, 2018, 03:01:28 PM
You supposed to have posted this on the economy section as you are asking if it will help increase the price of BTC or something. But to answer your question I don't think that this kind of news really affects something in terms of increasing the prices. We can always see that people always links news to Bitcoin's movement but they are doing it after the movement not before the movement, which means good news are really not affecting Bitcoin to go up.

Now relating the news to the legal side. I think that Japan will do what other countries do which they require the developers to ask for KYCs for their investors. In this way they are having some sort of regulation or control on the ICOs, they will also identify all the investors investing in the ICOs. Also this will prevent Scam ICOs from entering the market.
3135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: The Seven Deadly Sins on: April 24, 2018, 01:29:21 PM
People who are experiencing these things are only people who are going to the casinos for the purpose of earning money. If you are a gambler and you are gambling for entertainment, you don't expect to win or lose but you expect to have a good time. You do not expect to earn money from it as just spending your time in a casino is enough value for your money. We can view this in different ways but going to a casino is really not a sin even if you fall into your explanation as not all gamblers want to earn money, some even view it as a bonus of having a fun time in a casino.
3136  Economy / Speculation / Re: My bullish Bitcoin prediction on: April 24, 2018, 10:22:10 AM
I agree going from 7,300$ to 10,000$ without hitting any breaks will make this rally a false one, RSI is definitely overbought the volume isn't increasing either, it is looking more of a bull trap for me right now. But it can all be save with a healthy pullback or correction followed by a good volume just to confirm that this breakout is not brought to us by whales manipulating the market. Anytime soon now we might see BTC fall down from 9,300$ and even 9,450$. But if it goes higher we might see BTC drop faster this time.
3137  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-23] NPR - How the tiny nation of Georgia became a Bitcoin behemoth on: April 24, 2018, 08:37:25 AM
Quote from the article your provided:
Quote
That is the question. Is this crypto boom going to help or hinder Georgia, a country still struggling with widespread poverty?
Talking about a smaller cut, Georgia is only benefiting a little compared to what the U.S. Base cryptocurrency mining company (located in their country), Bitfury, is making, their electricity is subsidized meaning one of their operational cost is cut considerably. This company is running its operation in a equivalent of 120,000 Georgian household or 10% of the population and as a U.S. based company they are only paying either Income Tax or Capital Gains tax to served as a "fee" for their operations. Sadly it won't be enough to solve the issue of poverty in this nation. Bitfury is basically taking advantage of their situation.

They have also posted that only some of their citizens are into mining cryptocurrency, where the one they interviewed only earned 800$ by mining Zcash monthly. Not to get me wrong but 800$ is also a big amount of money but it won't help improve their economy if only few Georgians are into mining or even trading. If Georgia as a nation wants to take advantage of the situation they must encourage local competition against Bitfury or even think of ways to milk more money out of the foreign company.

3138  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: April 24, 2018, 06:52:07 AM
You also have a great day, I waited 10 hours you told me to wait 6 hours and then .......
I will stop and wait just to tell you that primedice was not the same
Seeing your post history it is built on adding more gas to the fire to scam accusations which all of them don't have any factual evidence to support your claims. You have done it lately in FortuneJack and now you are doing the same with PD.

I mean look at how you accused FJ something:

Bitcointalk.org was bribed by Fortunejack
Lol I feel terrible
You have assumed FJ is bribing BCT without any evidence that what you have said is true. You know to make you believable to others here in the forum you must avoid accusing someone without evidence. It will just make you look like a loser of their site and now is being salty to their thread.
3139  Other / Meta / Re: I am flabbergasted that it actually happens on this scale on: April 24, 2018, 04:36:52 AM
~snip~

It's more about the culture that it breeds, the self entitled fucks that then move onto sig campaigns. There were a few people in that thread talking about multiple accounts for signatures as well. My belief is that these "hunters" come here for bounties, then see the higher paying sig campaigns and then want some of the action, if there were no bounties being organised here then Much fewer registrations would be happening
Yup I agree with you, judging by some of the quotes you provided they are actually proud of what they are doing and their co-hunters are actually envying the time and dedication of the one who is participating 40 bounty campaigns. What I am not agreeing is stopping all the bounty campaigns of ICOs, maybe filtering them is a better option. Before they can create ANN threads and a bounty campaign thread they need to go through a screening process on whether or not their threads can be published in the forum.
3140  Other / Meta / Re: I am flabbergasted that it actually happens on this scale on: April 23, 2018, 07:09:30 PM
This is firm proof that the forum is going to shit.. @theymos ban bounties, sig campaigns are bad enough (yea hypocrite cos I wear one) but this is totally ridiculous.
Hey there TMAN as far as I know Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media Bounties does not directly affect BCT as a forum. Unlike Signature Campaigns where you are required to post here in BCT, Bounty campaigns only requirement is to share their tweets, fb post, Reddit post etc. which does not directly affecting the forum, they are not contributing to any kind of Spam or Shitposting outside their subforum.

But thinking of it differently I can say that they are not abusing any campaign rules as most of the Bounty Campaigns does not prevent you from participating to other bounty campaigns, this way the members are maximizing their time to participate in a lot of bounty campaigns. But I did not say what they are doing is good but in other sense is bad as they are sharing to the social media a lot of Altcoins which maybe some of it will turn out to be a scam or if the investor is new to Altcoins will eventually lose his/her money from trading or even holding the cryptocurrency. All of these is bad advertising where the participant will share right away and let others see, what they are doing is simply irresponsible campaigning.
