3161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: April 23, 2017, 01:16:25 PM
so these guys are investing to coins thats high value already?

if you have  btc and you invest it on ETC or LTC, you will only have few of those coins maybe less than 500 of it but if you invest it to coins worth 0.05USD or maybe even less, you'd have much profit when it bubble and you own more than 20K of it.
Yeah thats true, indeed when you will invest like 1200$ into some known coin, that won' be a great perspective for huge returns, because you won't be able to buy a lot of that asset.
But when you buy some small, cheap coin, in fact the returns may become insanely big thanks to that but you need to always remember about comparing the risk!

Imagine how much money can you loose with buying ethereum for 1 bitcoin. It is possible that the price will go down, but we do not expect really big drops on it.
And now, imagine how much money would you loose if you would invest 1 bitcoin in some coin that costs 0.3$, and drops to 0.02$ after that. Now, consider if risk does not make a difference for you.
3162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: April 23, 2017, 01:01:54 PM
Investment in bitcoins isn't risk free thing and nobody can guarantee that bitcoin price will not decrease. In my opinion, bitcoin price gan down in short period, but in long term it will only rise, as we already saw in recent years when bitcoin price increased few times. If you really believe in bitcoin, I think you need to buy it, but don't invest more than you can afford to loose.
I dont get the main point of this sentence about that the investment in bitcoin is not risk free, lol.

Any investment you are going to do is not guaranteed, and always contains some risk. One may be more risky than the other, but every single one will have this common part.

You cannot really count the risk on the bitcoin, because it is same like buying house or a property, and counting the risk. You cannot really predict the future, how the price on the market are going to change through next few years, especially in such a difficult place like a cryptocurrencies market, where some coins are being created in the same moment when the others are dissapearing.
3163  Economy / Exchanges / Re: poloniex scam? on: April 22, 2017, 07:58:38 PM
some altcoin has trade volume abnormal rise befor info delisted

On May 2, 2017, the following will be delisted: BBR, BITS, C2, CURE, HZ, IOC, MYR, NOBL, NSR, QBK, QORA, QTL, RBY, SDC, UNITY, VOX, XMG
Posted by MobyDick at 2017-04-19 00:08:50

Why do you think this is abnormal rise of the volume?
Most of these shortcuts are altcoins who have really small market capitalization, because they are not worth much and not many people using it.

I would say that it is not strange seeing such a big difference after poloniex annoucement (delisting one), i assume that there was a panic selling over there, not any abnormal rise, because polo has the highest volume among the all exchanges.

You really think it is a scam?
3164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Trusted site to earn BTC. on: April 22, 2017, 07:08:01 PM
Hey,
A lot's of sites are working over online to earn btc. but none of those are trusted l think except a little bit sites.
So, I wanna know how many the best trusted sites have to earn btc safely in long time.

Please response the oldest of bitcoin.
You did not say anything about what kind of sites are you interested in, because we do not know if you are willing to invest, or you are just looking for a way to earn BTC without any funds.
If you have money, then I can recommend you cryptogames.com or bitdice.com, but not for gambling. Invest in their bankroll, so you will get a part of the house edge every time someone makes a bet.
You can also go with trading , I would suggest using poloniex.com (best crypto exchange for me) or bittrex.com , but the volume among the all exchanges is highest on poloniex.

If you are looking for a job payed in BTC, then you should visit some freelancer sites. I really like https://coinality.com but it depends if you are looking for a job for some time, or just full-time work.
3165  Economy / Speculation / Re: War is coming on: April 20, 2017, 01:47:49 PM
I doubt if btc is going to be affected by this.

I doubted Trump from the first day. Looks like I was right. Hope this war is a mirage, and not actually happening.

Lindsay Graham just said that he would endorse a preemptive strike against North Korea so it would not surprise me if we started a new war. I don't know what this would do for Bitcoin, but defense stocks might not be a bad place to put our money.

“The United States of America will always seek peace,” Pence said aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, which is docked at the U.S. Yokosuka naval base in Tokyo Bay, Japan. “But under President Trump, the shield stands guard and the sword stands ready.”

Well this line should be consider I think we should wait for North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong Un's answer for this, well let's just say he is crazy to strike, but this is America and a second though might work, and U.S. still seeks for a peace talk than war, let's just wish that it could end in a peaceable way, it could really be implicate for bitcoin if caught on the conflict.
That is not true, US have shown us already many times, that this sentence is totally false.
For the reasons that only US government knows, they are getting involved in most of the conflicts on our planet, they play a "world police" role, but it is still not about peace.
They are seeking for profits, from exploiting the other countries. Any example? Iraq, why they have started this war? Obviously, for oil profits.

Nobody starts a war with a country on the other continent, because he is looking for peace.
US just tries to justify their actions.
3166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Secret, Dangerous World of Venezuelan Bitcoin Mining on: April 20, 2017, 01:41:21 PM
Miners need to be very cautious if they are doing this activity in Venezuela, for some reason (i really cannot understand why, it seems insanely stupid idea for me) they have made bitcoin pretty much forbidden to use, mine or store.
The electricity in Venezuela is extremely cheap, the costs of electricity for mining rigs are pretty much that small, that you don't even have to bother about them. Most of the costs are paying for ASIC machines used for mining.
However if you want to even start that, you need to consider that the law enforcement will treat you as a regular criminal in there, so be very careful.
But you should never forget that you are not doing anything wrong!
3167  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: April 20, 2017, 01:30:01 PM
Price increase is something present on the every continent, but it is all about which products pricing will be increased.

In third world countries, or the agricultural ones, the food is not expected to become more expensive, because the supply is high enough, unless there are some unpredictable events going on, such as some natural disasters.
In more developed places, usually the food price is increasing at least some, because it the population in cities is constantly growing, and we already have electronical products, cars , different types of services etc.
But there is always food needed so it is obvious that might be a cause of financial stress for family. All you really need, is good money management.
3168  Economy / Economics / Re: News From Switzerland on: April 20, 2017, 01:20:49 PM
Im very happy that some people really want to implement some cryptocurrency as a regular payment method, that is something we need to see all over the world now.
It may lead us to more and more countries accepting bitcoin, and maybe even more merchants will adopt it as another option to make a payment for their products.

I dont like anyway the idea that the Ticincoin will be available only in Ticino, that make it useless for the most of the cryptocurrency community.
On the other hand, I can understand that rule, because they don't want to see someone making speculations on this token, which might turn out as a better option for them.
3169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to buy BTC in USA? (via cash/bank transfer) on: April 20, 2017, 01:08:12 PM
Hello everybody!

Sorry for the noob question but I have an issue with loading my cash to BTC. Please advise how can I make that in a right way?
Seems like WIRE transfer to BTC-E doesn't feet my needs cuz it may take several weeks before they approve it.

So I need a much more speedy way. Also the fee is very important too as we process great amounts.
Under 1% would be fine Smiley

Thanks in advance.

Gemini is the most used exchange to buy bitcoin in the US now that Coinbase is having the problems we are already aware of. You cannot expect to buy bitcoin with just 1% fee.
For the moment they are the best option if you process great amounts, you can open an institutional account with them (I don't know but maybe there are benefits from having it)
Hello grauss, I have some questions to you, i think they are very important for me.

You are talking about Coinbase, that they are currently encountering some problems, and you say that 'we" are aware of it.
This is the first time I hear about this, nobody told me that they are having some issues, or also I haven't found any news where they mentioned that.

Can you explain exactly what is happening on Coinbase? At the moment, I hold the part of my bitcoins in there, and I really don't want to lose that money stacked.

Getting back to topic, I also agree that you won't be able to buy bitcoins with less than 1% fee at US, if you want to use ATM that will be around 6/7 %, but it is one of the most expensive ways to choose.
3170  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: April 20, 2017, 12:59:11 PM
If you are storing many bitcoins just for profit, not investing them into some other business is a sin!
For example, I dont see a point to have 10 bitcoins just for holding purposes. Obviously, you will earn a really big amount of cash if it comes to the price increase, however your income is slow, and the cash is frozen.
Don't you all think, that putting out let's say 3 btc (7 BTC left to just store them on the wallet) into some different investment (Im thinking about not-bitcoin related) as a diversification, is a good idea?

3 BTCs is around 3 650 USD currently. That amount of money may be sufficient to start some small business, obviously the local one, but it can still provide you some funds every year, instead of putting all the eggs into one basket!
3171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Professional Trader on: April 20, 2017, 12:21:09 PM
Precision is an important requirement as well...
What do you mean exactly by "precision"?
I guess that you are talking about timing in trading.

Ineed, it is very important because in some cases, if you execute the trade a few seconds later because of not being precise, and possible also because of the lag you may get your profit lowered a lot, or even lose it!

It is crucial to be quick when there are essential events going on the markets (at forex, the price sometime is extremely volatile) such as news about pay rolls, etc,
3172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: April 20, 2017, 12:10:42 PM
Bitcoin will always be needed, as long as people seek secrecy and centralization
We never know if it will always be used, until now all countries no one uses officially, this is the thing I'm worried about about the future of the bitcoin, as long as there is no guarantee can die at any time.
Obviously nothing is guaranteed, thats why saying bitcoin is indestructable is a mistake.

On the other hand, bitcoin does not need any official support from the goverments, because the main idea about rhe most known cryptocurrency is that it should always stay decentralized.

But we cannot let the goverments to be against the bitcoin, we should encourage the rest of community to have a chance of avoiding this.

If that is going to happen, using bitcoin will be not so
great because you basically need to use your bank account to covert it into fiat, and that may cause a problems for you.
3173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: top internet mystery: bitcoin on: April 20, 2017, 11:42:13 AM
Bitcoin was created in 2008 and the video is was created somewhere at 2016, so it is kind of strange for me that the author of it has not learned anything about this crypto, and about other cryptocurrencies overall.

It is still a phenomenon for normal people, they usually dont carw about new technologies, because usually it doesnt make any difference for them.
But bitcoin is a great opportunity even for not wealthy part of community, all you need is internet connection and bank account to be able to buy/sell them.
3174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 20, 2017, 11:23:37 AM
I doubt that any of the currently existing altcoins have a really big chance to become more known and precious than bitcoin, maybe except Monero. This cryptocurrency is a really great tool for online payments, you can always stay safe, so if someone really needs that, then Monero is a best choice.

On the other hand, we need to see a growth of cryptocurrency community, and new people are probably not looking for anonymousness, but instead for speed of lightning, and very low fee costs.

I dont know any currency that could become better for that purpose than bitcoin for now
3175  Economy / Gambling / Re: Corruptible CS:GO Game on: April 19, 2017, 05:47:42 PM
Hello everyone, I have a friend who is playing CS:GO professionally. He is attempting to tournaments which you can bet on, and I was wondering if some of you is interested in this. Let me know guys Roll Eyes
Wait a second.
It is hard to understand, if you mean playing CS:GO profesionally, on tournaments for money, or you just mean betting on the result of the match.
I assume that you mean the second thing, because in other case you wouldn't post here, I guess.

So, I have been basically doing some kind of that gambling, it is all about which team is going to win.
Most of the sites use CS:GO skins as a currency, every one of them has some value, so you bet the skins, and you get the payout in different skins.
There are also some websites that just use regular money, but to be honest, I dont know any casino from that kind.
3176  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in Annual investment on: April 19, 2017, 05:38:07 PM
I am not saying anything against the site but the annual interest is low. I am making between 10-20% per annum.

You're making this much from a bitcoin balance? If so, you should share where so others can get on board!
Why do you want him to reveal his precious secrets?
It is not alright, you can find many "money-making guides" over here, in this forum, but they are just something that might help you to get the grasp on how to earn bitcoins through internet.
But this is not so easy, cryptocurrency can be converted to fiat money, which means that people in here treat it as a regular cash.

You need to make up your own idea, or at least improve some way of getting bitcoins if you really want to get returns only thanks to using your PC.
Im sure that you wouldn't share your great way to make 10-20% yearly, neither do I.
3177  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OKCOIN also having problems with USD deposits on: April 19, 2017, 05:28:18 PM
Also, BTC-e had problems with USD Wire transfers – they tweeted on April 14th, and I quote:
Quote
"Due to change banking account we don't accept USD wire transfers till the end of month #btce."
Bitfinex is now suing Wells Fargo for the USD wire transfers issue, you can read more about it here: https://news.bitcoin.com/bitfinex-sues-wells-fargo-over-wire-transfer-suspension/

I think Bitfinex have now withdrawn their Wells Fargo suit. See

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-exchange-bitfinex-withdraws-lawsuit-wells-fargo/

I wonder what happened to change their minds.

Interesting info about BTC-E - I wonder if this is about US regulators cracking down on funds denominated in dollars sent to unregulated exchanges.
I hope that at least BTC-E won't encounter such a problems, but it is an interesting thing, because it looks like exchanges, one by one are disabling wire deposits/withdrawals.
First was Bitfinex, now we see that OKCoin has the same problem. Who is going to have their bank accounts frozen next?

I would be very worried if the goverments would try to block all bank accounts of the unregulated cryptocurrency exchanges, it is still possible because they might consider these projects as a money laundering operation.

That is why I prefer to sell my bitcoins peer-to-peer, or to the local exchange where I wont encounter such a issue.
3178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 1400 (forecast) on: April 19, 2017, 05:16:28 PM
Maybe let pray for this to happen if bitcoin price breach the price of 1300 dollars then do not rejoice yet it will decrease and will rise again there are still people who will not let bitcoin increase into that price that fast they will pump bitcoin first before it will rise into that price trust me this happens every the price is increase.
I dont see any really big resistance area above 1300$ level, except 1500 USD per bitcoin obviously.
Without some decent movements on bitcoin chart, it is not possible to see 1500$ level broken quickly, this resistance area seems really strong.
Also another problem, is that we are oscillating around the all time high of bitcoin, which is kind of a mental barrier for many technical traders, you dont see that often and the market is already unpredictable, when it is close to all-time highs, there is always uncertain situation on the market.
3179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAUDI Bitcoin Trading on LocalBitcoins TO THE MOON on: April 19, 2017, 04:46:29 PM
With the governments as there are now and the conditions, bitcoin will definitely be quite popular in middle east. And subcontinental Asia too.

I think that would be a big advantage for countries that are not so developed yet, to implement bitcoin as a another way to make a payments.
It is a great opportunity, because even if the percent of  population using bitcoin is really small, that still may give great returns, also thanks to the taxes.

But all of us need to admit, that paying taxes is something that many people dont do over where, they try to avoid it, because it is fairly easy with cryptocurrencies, however that is still against the law.
You should always consider paying taxes, as a help to your country, and a help for the nation. After all, some of this money go to health service, and to help the poor part of society.
3180  Economy / Speculation / Re: War is coming on: April 19, 2017, 04:27:19 PM
I believe that they will be a bit puffed up and agree on peace. It is not advantageous for them to destroy the economies of their countries by war and become beggars.
Exactly, nobody wants the war because during the peace time, the trade is going very well, there are many agreements between governments, that apply to different branches of industry, for example financial or energy industry.
Also, the war in modern times between two highly developed countries look totally different, there are not many soldiers going forward to the land of the enemy, there are thousands of aircrafts, drones, sattelites and different military technology, which usually might be used for killing people.
The another problem we encounter in such a case, is that many countries have access to nuclear weapon, which is very important factor when anyone is thinking about attacking the independent place.
