That is not true, US have shown us already many times, that this sentence is totally false.
For the reasons that only US government knows, they are getting involved in most of the conflicts on our planet, they play a "world police" role, but it is still not about peace.
They are seeking for profits, from exploiting the other countries. Any example? Iraq, why they have started this war? Obviously, for oil profits.

Nobody starts a war with a country on the other continent, because he is looking for peace.

I'm new in this kind of stuff, but I really think that in case of war price of Bitcoin (Crypto currencies) would increase:
1. if war would come to the most developed part of the world, there would be a lot of lost Bitcoins (imagine bomb in a big city in which there are 1000 bit coin users, all of that bitcoins would be lost forever in case of lost password or death)
2. I haven't really checked yet, but i think that big part of crypto currencies are spent on black markets (for war you need guns which you can buy with Crypto currencies -> which means demand goes up -> value goes up)
So all in all, i think this are two reasons why Bitcoin would become more valuable. Probably there are reasons why it would decrease its value, but i don't know them yet

Well maybe but there will be little to no electricity by that time so I don't think bitcoin will go up during the war but after the war. For sure fiat will fall down in value as well but to store wealth gold will be better. Guns demand will go up during the war but not bitcoin's demand since gun can be bought using fiat or any other currencies out there.

In some extreme, bitcoin may get more benefits out of emergency situations like war. Yes, some people needs not to depend on their banks/governments but they medium of exchanges for that bitcoin could be a right option in many reasonable ways.

But, I do feel finding positive sides of war just for better future of one payment system or investment benefits must be not a humanity action. We must pray for no war to trigger out. We must voice for peace all the times. One big worst we may see from war, atomic radiations which may kill internet operations and bitcoin may get affected in that situations, yes we really do not need war.

World War 3 is not likely to happen. All of the major superpowers(USA, China, and Russia) know that war wouldn't be good for either side. More than likely, everything will be worked out without war. What good would a war with the United States do Russia? It wouldn't. They know it, you know it, we all know it. It would just kill millions of people and get us absolutely nowhere..

Correct there may be some proxy wars where the world powers fight each other indirectly to raise their influence in a region but an open conflict between superpowers is not going to happen for the simple reason a conflict like that will destroy the entire world.

We fight in the undercurrents the war is economic strategy the physical brute force is just what we use as a deterrent.

In the entire history of mankind there are just a few short years without wars, there is always a war somewhere so this is nothing new, also the US is always at war with someone whether is a war with guns or it is a cold war fought in space, the economy or sports.

To the concrete scenario the OP describes (a "Pacific War"), I think it would not have the devastating effect on Bitcoin (network breakdown) that some fear here. The network will still continue living and perhaps the price will even rise in the case of unstability of the fiat currencies of the war participants.

The most problematic scenario could be the danger that if this conflict really escalates and China's mainland is attacked, the Chinese mining farms could be cut off from the network. That would rise the risk of a 51% attack a bit because of a difficulty drop, although it wouldn't probably be only dangerous if there is really an actor with a wish to destroy the network.

US government should stop bullying other countries, can't they see the mighty great empires much powerful and bigger than them has fallen and vanished in the past? all we see from them are only 0.5% of their empires, buildings etc.

As for the idea that North Korea will turn into a quagmire like the Middle-East, that's not going to happen. There's no sectarianism brooding underneath the Korean regime.
