And that $500 you've invested wrongly did yourself gained with experience and that can be said as another investment.

Because you've learned from that mistake and experience and now you're raking the idea of what lesson you've learned from that mistake and it is also because of you, you didn't give up that easy.

My personal amount was much smaller as an investment but it was big enough for me to learn my lesson and gain the experience. And then a year after that, I also spent even more into ICOs,,, yet another lesson was created.

So yes, these are not pure losses if you gain experience and learning. I always see it like this too and appreciate that Smiley
That's also looking at it at a brighter and better picture of what has happened and as well as remaining positive despite the losses that you've incurred whether it's big or small.

We all have the same experience where we've learned a lot because with those mistakes that we did as we invest in the cryptocurrencies that we think have a good future.
3162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Prediction – Will ETH Hit $5,000 Soon? on: August 24, 2021, 11:37:49 PM
I'm willing to wait for 3 or more years to see those prices for Ethereum. The current price is high but I'm all set with another price and aim higher.

It isn't greed that's in me and I understand that I'm already in profit but I'm willing to go more and wait some more time to see what's with Ethereum and how high it can bring itself for the next years.
Even i do not mind waiting for the next few years to see the price of Ethereum cross over $5000, it all depends upon how the recent upgrade and the sensitive changes in the algorithm will solve any existing issues including higher transaction charges and it all depends upon the hype the shift of POS has garnered even though i felt like a move to attract the environmentalist and not necessarily having solutions to sort the issue in POW.
The current issue is with the fees and usually when the fee is high, the price of Ethereum must be high too but I think staying on $3k is already high for the sake of the fees.

But despite that issue, there's still a lot of investors that would willing to buy it due to the upgrades that have ever been given to it.
3163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 24, 2021, 10:48:41 PM
Nevertheless, do you think this is the last fight of Manny?

In his statement, he considers retiring but it's not final yet, so as long as there's no formal announcement from him about retiring, then we can assume that we will still see him fight again.
The fact that he gave some hint before, I think a few years ago. I cannot remember if it came from him or her wife that he just has to retire and he's considering it.

But after that then a fight of him came. It is true that these hints will remain as it is until he finally says and gives an official statement for his retirement.

As Pacquiao said, he had done enough already for boxing, and boxing had done a lot for him. So yeah, he should retire while he can still enjoy the fruits of his sacrifices. Don't wait to suffer major body damage. He's not getting young. Time to give the ring to younger generation. His record is already astonishing and can be lined up to boxing greats like Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson.
He said that many times and as for retirement, just as I've said, he already said almost the same words.

If he's going to ask the people and his fans, we want him to retire and just take a peaceful life with his family. But he's got a lot of other things to do aside from boxing.

He's going into another career path of his life and that's why we'll still not know unless he says that officially.

I believe that the main thing is not to buy "blindly". This really threatens with losses, and not small ones!
Yes, that's right and I agree.

And that's why we urge people that are new to crypto to do their research. You'll get to see everyone telling that most of the time when a newbie asks about how to start or how to invest in crypto.

It is a fact that there are those that are doing it on their own and investing blindly because they don't have someone to ask. In the long run, they learn from their own experiences and they later on learn how to research.

Exactly. I invested around $500 in trading on few coins without proper analysis which later taught me a huge lesson. Now  after 5 years, yes I am sure of where to invest and when to take profit. Patience is the key to succeed in crypto trading. Number of opportunities are here in this forum to earn. So look for what best fits you. That can be day trading, investment on long term trading, signature campaigns, bounty campaign and etc
And that $500 you've invested wrongly did yourself gained with experience and that can be said as another investment.

Is that Binance.com or Binance.us? I was told Binance.com cant be used in the US? Thank you for the quick response btw
Binance.com isn't allowed in the US so that's why they've made Binance.us. That's for the US residents exactly to solve the problem.

But sadly, as I look for the Binance.us, there's no support for wink so you've got to the find the other exchanges that are good in your country that has been posted with the link above.

Do not dwell much in signals group. Just as said, you're going to waste your time and you're prone to scams. They can make you hype with those news but it tends out to be that it's just going to be a pump for those coins.

And when they're done with the pump, you can be the last one to hold that coin that's already left hanging with lesser value than the amount you've bought it.
3170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 09:16:22 PM
I don’t think he does it because he loves boxing so much. I’ve heard rumors he has quite a cocaine habit to fund and that is why he continues to fight while doing damage to his reputation every time he steps into the ring. It’s sad that people can make so much money in their lives and be so successful and then end up a slave to their lifestyle. I hope Manny gets help and sets himself up for old age before he starts boxing youtubers for cash.
He just took the cash on this match for the funding of his possible campaign for the highest position in the government with the upcoming election.

I don't know about that rumor but it's more likely that he did it for his additional budget needed as he's about to file his candidacy.
3171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: August 22, 2021, 08:12:04 PM
It is okay. There's still not that much attention to rock climbing but who knows that in the future, we'll see those hobbyists of this activity and they will influence a lot of people to love this sport.

And by that time, if there's that much traction on this, there will be some interesting bookies that will start to look at it and will put it to their books as there are people who loves to do it so, they'll have an idea that there will be also bettors that would love to do it.

I doubt that rock climbing will become popular, firstly it is not a game sport, and secondly it is not a team competition. Perhaps it is interesting to see how someone has achieved mastery in something (for example, climbing), but it is unlikely that anyone will do it regularly. I've noticed that only team competitions have become popular lately (maybe because of the randomness and the fact that each team has a chance against each).
I'm just thinking about the most positive possibility that might happen with it.

You've said are facts and we don't know the future of it, but we also don't know on the side of sportsbook. They might think of it as a sport as long as there's traction and popularity.

But right now, we can see that it isn't yet popular.
3172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: August 21, 2021, 11:35:28 PM
is there a gambling exchange that makes rock climbing a bet? From several gambling sites that I have accessed, I have never found it, so, to be honest until now I have never risked my money on rock climbing, so far I really like this sport and even once a month I and some friends do it on several hills near where my friend lives, even though the hill is not too extreme, but in my opinion it still provides an extraordinary challenge and test of courage.

3173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 21, 2021, 10:43:49 PM
It's true that even though Bitcoin is expensive compared to altcoins, but if the capital is from fiat then convert it into any coins when making a deposit,
it won't be a big problem. I mean the psychic effect that we will feel losing Bitcoin will stress me more than losing an altcoin, even though when
the initial deposit has the same value. Or maybe it's just me who feels that way, so I really prefer to gamble with altcoins over Bitcoin.
Not just you. There are gamblers that do prefer to gamble with altcoins because they feel that they're lesser guilty losing those altcoins while losing bitcoin makes them feel bad and regretful.

It is because of the fact that bitcoin is becoming more expensive lately and being used as a store of value which is common to most of us.
3174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: August 21, 2021, 09:43:09 PM
What's done is done and  shiba inu is done with its pump so if there are still people that seems to be interested on it and are thinking about its potential pump.

You have to look at itself because it's already done and it already happened. People who are hyped with this coin, you have to move on.
3175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: August 20, 2021, 11:45:04 PM
No businessman will make a business when they know that they will lose all of their money there.
What is the purpose why they are building a business?? In order for them to earn money right?
That's the simplest logic that people have to understand on why they think the house always wins. It's a business that they've built and it's not just going to giveaway the fund that they've put into as capital to keep it going.

Even if without the logic, you ask someone who doesn't gamble that much but is aware of this, he'll tell those folks that in the end they have to realize that the house will always ending up making money from their gamblers.
3176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 20, 2021, 10:44:37 PM
I have seen arguments that it is now very easy for children to access porn and online gambling. What can be done to prevent this? I don't think that it is the duty of these sites to block access to the minors. It is not practical. A few nut jobs have demanded that porn/gambling sites should perform facial verification using the webcam before granting access to any user. The real intention here is not to protect the children, but to invade on the privacy of the ordinary users. Children should not have access to uncensored internet in the first place. Porn/gambling sites should be blocked in their browser. Now it is ridiculous to ask the sites to do facial verification and all, because in that case no one is going to visit these sites.
These sites cannot block any potential traffic that can go to them. But parents who cannot do that can easily watch tutorials and videos everywhere on how to block websites that they desire to block just like gambling related contents and as well as porn sites.

We don't know what these kids can do if they're holding a smartphone and tries to visit every website that they see. Especially in those websites that has ads banner on its side, we know what sometimes are popping there.

Someone who's learning from others experience and advices, he's a gambler that knows how to control himself and how to take advantage of those experiences that he has seen with other gamblers that he don't want to end up with a bad ending.

Do not be too hasty with your goal as you gamble, if the time is with you and you're lucky enough to hit those positive numbers during the time you gamble, stay aside and take your profit or bankroll so that you'll keep and worry less if the next time you gamble you lose.
Hopefully, we can be like that and not think about winning because that will not be possible unless you have luck. Yes, learning from others experiences will help us to get more knowledge and could help us to improve ourselves not to get more losses. We will have a chance to take care of the money and will be able to manage it before the money is running out.

Maybe we can not imagine what will happen if we lose big money in gambling but that is totally a big regret for us. We will want to turn the time back and consider setting the budget to playing gambling, but unfortunately, we already lose that money and we can not back the time.
It is impossible not think about winning.

We're all going to think about winning but we have to control ourselves and as well as be in shape and well as we gamble. You won't depend your action based on your budget. But you're going to make sure that you're aware with what you're doing.

Being in the right shape means that you're aware of possible consequences for every action you do.

It is better to win for some amount than to lose a big amount. For that win money, we can try to place the other bet in the next days and who knows, we can win for some other amounts.
This is where many gamblers are falling shortly. If we're winning with some amounts, we'll have that plan of making more with what we can because it's making us wanting some more and that's likely as long as we've got the budget on our hand.

And we try to get some more and try to do more, we're always too positive that we won't be having a bad day. In result, the majority are losing instead of making more because of the hunger that we want to have as we engaged ourselves with that plan of gaining some more.

It results to do that and you think that because of that very little that you have and aim to gain more, it ended up badly.
It is because those gamblers greed with their winning money and want to get more winning. They never think that it is enough to win and save money by quitting the games instead of continuing to play the next rounds.

When they can set some money to playing gambling and not just add more and more money to gamble, they will not face a big loss but a small loss.

We should learn from the other gambler who shared their experience losing the money to us to prevent getting the same experience as them. Besides that, it will remind us that setting a budget and limitations will help us from the loss.
