All you really have to do is make an image on the "old" server and copy it to the "new" server
Launch "new" server
Create a new masternode genkey and getaccountaddress 0 in the local console
Find your new public IP on the server
Alter both your local and remote CONF file with the new info
Send the 1000DRK to the new getaccountaddress 0
/user/bin/darkcoind on server
masternode start on local console
Not much more to it than that

Access your modem/router and port forwarding open 9999 cant be that, all the others (MN's) are running from here too i did not change the remote CONF file ! that might be it ?! or is that in Amazon (server) i have the same security setting as the others (MN's) |

Those commands are for the remote (linux) server. Ahhh "connect to your instance' ?? SSH client or java ?

Coingateway Voting (i checked in with them regarding the old vote and the results, as DRK was way up there) they say: They had a voting for new coins in place some month ago, BUT due to cheating (too many people voted from the same ip addresses) they are working on a new voting system for a revote Will keep you posted when they open the new vote |

1. what is the official statement to the press on the Coinbase story?
2. what is the official statement to the press on an alternative to Tor?
3. What is the official statement to the press on kristov review and his initial comments?
4. What is the official statement to the press that RC4 is running stable and now we move on to xyz?
5. What is the official statement to the press that DRK is going open source before the end of the year and invitations to developers is being pushed?
6. What is the official statement to the press that DRK has the same APIs as Bitcoin and is Bitcoin's alternative to xyz?

if there isn't an official statement or PR planned, then it would be good to know.

TanteStefana has proved that she can write clearly, coherently and accessibly. I'd happily throw some DRK her way to keep her doing so. And since my English is better than my python, I'm going to attempt my own DRK piece, probably concentrating on #2. "Seek forgiveness, not permission," is something I read by a poster on darkcointalk, whose name now escapes me, apologies. If you can write, write something, put it out there. If you're not happy doing it yourself, crack your DRK bags open and invest a little of it encouraging someone else to do so. just wait for open source and this will have so much more pull .... ! |

Masternode Question. One of my nodes showes - VERSIONS = Denied everything else is green I started the MN from the console, and everything showed ok: "started masternode successfully" is it the Version ? needs to be updated or reinstalled ? was 0.10.12.31 before it went off ? Is there a guide "how to do update the Version" for MAC ? (might be time that i figure out how to do this myself) Tx |
