3183  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think it's time to go Short on Bitcoin on: March 01, 2021, 01:53:02 AM
I think bitcoin will drop to another Support in the next 24 hours, The volume is lower than the last weeks.
Bitcoin can fall to $38,000, $39,000 to $41,000 but I won't short bitcoin. I would like to wait its fall to those targets and long it. Short is mean you are gambling in this current price. In this current price, that is close to $41,000 and bitcoin can bounce back anytime. In fact you can see the price is bouncing after $43,000 was called hours ago.

If you want to short bitcoin, wait for another test on $58,300 to short it. A very important note is short position is for short time and you should never hold your short positions for long time. And if bitcoin breaks the cap at $58,350, it is the time you should accept your short position with a small loss and close it. After the break, bitcoin will take off with another 10% to 20% rise.

Editing is the best way to do. But sometime if you found your post irrelevant to the topic and moderators didn't noticed that you can totally deleted it it's your decision anyway but not advisable. Better before posting make sure you are knowledgeable about it so you won't confuse yourself for having a mistake.
Editing is when you make typos or incorrect information and need to correct them.

If the all content in the post is irrelevant, unnecessary because you ignore the red warning before you click on Post, it is the best to delete your post. As posts above yours are completely answer question of OP.

Three ways to resolve your posts but which one to use depends on how you make your post initially and what the posts of others answer OP question.
- Delete it
- Edit it (by deleting incorrect information, and edit it or add some additional information)
- Edit it (by strike out the incorrect information).
3186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain In Simple Terms? on: February 28, 2021, 03:27:32 AM
In my simple words:
- Blockchain are chain of blocks with each blocks contain our transactions. Current block is linked with previous blocks and later it will be linked with later blocks.
- Blockchain is created to be a public ledger with full transparency and decentralization but with adaption, more private blockchains were created as Monero.

You can grab some documents from Bitcoin Wiki.

Bitcoin Blockchain: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin

Quote
The bitcoin blockchain is a public ledger that records bitcoin transactions.[102] It is implemented as a chain of blocks, each block containing a hash of the previous block up to the genesis block[d] of the chain. A network of communicating nodes running bitcoin software maintains the blockchain.

For broader coverage of this topic, see Blockchain.
Quote
A blockchain,[1][2][3] originally block chain,[4][5] is a growing list of records, called blocks, that are linked using cryptography.[1][6] Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block,[6] a timestamp, and transaction data (generally represented as a Merkle tree). By design, a blockchain is resistant to modification of its data. This is because once recorded, the data in any given block cannot be altered retroactively without alteration of all subsequent blocks.

For use as a distributed ledger, a blockchain is typically managed by a peer-to-peer network collectively adhering to a protocol for inter-node communication and validating new blocks. Although blockchain records are not unalterable, blockchains may be considered secure by design and exemplify a distributed computing system with high Byzantine fault tolerance. The blockchain has been described as "an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way".[7]

The blockchain was invented by a person (or group of people) using the name Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 to serve as the public transaction ledger of the cryptocurrency bitcoin.[1] The identity of Satoshi Nakamoto remains unknown to date. The invention of the blockchain for bitcoin made it the first digital currency to solve the double-spending problem without the need of a trusted authority or central server. The bitcoin design has inspired other applications[1][3] and blockchains that are readable by the public and are widely used by cryptocurrencies. The blockchain is considered a type of payment rail.[8] Private blockchains have been proposed for business use but Computerworld called the marketing of such privatized blockchains without a proper security model "snake oil".[9] However, others have argued that permissioned blockchains, if carefully designed, may be more decentralized in practice than permissionless ones.[10]

I do feel like I cheat if I posted already and another user posted under my post which make my post irrelevant, I think at times that if I delete the post that I cheat, that it ought not to be like that, but also sometimes it can lead to misinformation if it is not deleted. What do you suggest:
You will receive notification when you click on Post if in the meantime when you are writing down your post, someone else published their posts earlier than you.

If you are serious about this:
- Don't ignore the notification and click on Post again to release yours.
- Instead, copy and paste your prepared posts into notepad, word, etc.
- Go back to the topic to see what the others discussed and reconsider that your post is still necessary or unnecessary.
- If it is necessary, copy and paste your prepared post and release it eventually.

3189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin price is so volatile? What are the major factors that drive it? on: February 27, 2021, 01:47:51 PM
Volatility is what traders need and are looking for their tradings. Real traders can not trade if there is no volatility on the market. They can trade but they never like such market.

Volatility is not a serious problem for investors who have long term perspective for their investment.

So what does volatility mean for traders and investors? Can it cause fear on them? I guess not, only for real traders and investors. For people who self call they are trading or investing but don't know what they are doing, they have fear always.
3190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Binance Coin? on: February 27, 2021, 01:40:15 PM
This is the main reason, I believe! They are competitors of Ethereum for Defi apps, because of Ethereum's problem, which is scalability.
A lot of people also worried about Binance Smart Chain, there is some issue about being a centralized ecosystem and that's why the cost of transaction fee there is really cheap and some of the projects in Ethereum are copied and pasted to the Binance smart chain, which for me, it is already a red flag.
No hate here, I respect the pump Cool  Cheesy
BNB has a big support from Binance and Binance users. Regarding to scalability, Bitcoin Cash and Ver team tried to convince people that they are real bitcoin and can bring good things for bitcoiners. 4 years from 2017 to 2021, Bitcoin Cash is still a shit altcoin and they can not replace bitcoin.

I think that BNB will face the same challenge. They can be more easily to upgrade their protocol and some technical factors but thinking of taking over Ethereum would be unrealistic. I don't have Binance but I am not wishing to see too much power in hands of Binance.

How about Gas Limit you used for that transaction? Transactions can be failed if Gas Limit is too low.

3192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Way to Research About Altcoins. on: February 26, 2021, 02:40:43 PM
My top five priorities with altcoins:
- DASH: it will follow Ethereum rally soon.
- Litecoin: the silver digital currency and it was used and will be used as trial tool for later improvements on bitcoin network. Do you remember Lightning network trend in 2017, began with Litecoin?
- BNB: Binance know when and how to upgrade their services and build up Binance ecosystem to shill BNB.
- Dogecoin: it is always in my radar.
- Stellar Lumens: it has a habit for big pumps and it is better than Ripple.
3193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Binance Coin? on: February 26, 2021, 08:43:31 AM
BNB rose all the way to the moon becoming the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. It's now valued at over $230 per coin, becoming one of the most valuable smart contract platforms in the world after Ethereum. While BNB doesn't come nowhere near close as Ethereum in terms of decentralization, and censorship-resistance, it works great for "De-Fi" with its ultra-low fees and blazing-fast transaction confirmation times.
Binance and Binance Smart Chain give people alternative options, chains to move their coins, tokens with lower, much lower, very cheap transaction fees. The contribution is used to shill Binance and BNB and people have more belief in the future of Binance, BNB. Price has risen a lot because of contributions, belief and manipulation.

I'm wondering what could've lead Binance Coin towards new heights within such a short amount of time? Does the "De-Fi" hype have to do anything about this? Do you think BNB's current prices are sustainable or not? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
DeFi hype can contribut indirectly. Binance list loads of DeFi tokens on their exchange and as classic rule for capital flow, people will move their capital from bitcoin to old altcoins, new altcoins and DeFi tokens. When they get big profit from DeFi tokens, they are more flexible to accept high price from other assets exclusively BNB.
3194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth gas fees and investing on: February 26, 2021, 08:38:44 AM
I am not a technologist, let alone a programmer, just an investor and trader.

What do I need to know about Ethereum's high gas fees? I'm hearing some say that this could sink Ethereum. How exagerrated is that?
ETH 2.0 to come can help to resolve this expensive cost for transactions on ETH network.

In the meantime, you need to know where to check Gas price and Gas limit on Ethereum network. In case you need to cancel your transaction or replace it, you must know to do it. It is all given in following topics
ETH/ERC20 - Check and select good Gas price

BTT? There is no coin or token with the ticker as BTT. Is it a typo from you? Do you imply about BTC (bitcoin)?

3196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: February 25, 2021, 01:57:58 AM
1) When is the time to invest? I can see today that Bitcoin is up 2.5%. Is it best to wait for a big drop or just get onboard now?
Any time bitcoin has a correction around -15%, you can buy it up. Price can fall deeper than -15% but soon it will rally well. Note that I can not give you any guarantee that you will get profit 100% when you buy dips like that. The market is unpredictable, no one can. But bitcoin has a bright future to rise more in value as its halving in block rewards each 4 years, its fixed total supply less than 20 millions, its lost amount of bitcoin and more importantly bigger adoption is coming.

You missed a great price to buy a dip 3 days ago and if you don't want to join now and want to join at lower price, you can wait for price about $41,000.

Quote
2) If I wanted to put 80% into bitcoin then 20% into something else - what would you recommend?
Good with this allocation: 80% into bitcoin and 20% rest into altcoins (something else means altcoins).

- DASH: an old altcoin, big communities, big use cases in many nations.
- XMR: privacy coins is the future and you must be bravery to ignore drama.
3197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REEF and COTI suggestions on: February 25, 2021, 12:54:53 AM
COTI and REEF have lovely charts in 1D or 1W but if I have to choose one of them, not both, I would choose REEF coin.

They are good to give your increases in your capital if you invest in them in few weeks. As the chart shows, I have more belief in bigger or even sooner increases from REEF. It is why I'd like to choose REEF. Honestly to say with you, I had it in my portfolio 4 days ago with the massive corrections on the market with bitcoin crash.

With small altcoins like them, you will be safer and get more profits if you hold them in this bull market. Ups and dows but generally they will rise up more.
3198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best decentralized exchange Bisq or Uniswap? on: February 24, 2021, 02:15:08 AM
mk4 and Great Arkansas are right.

If you need to choose exchanges, you need to choose biggest ones and Bisq, Uniswap are biggest exchanges in their branch in the market.

Other DeFi decentralized exchanges after Uniswap are only try to repeat what Uniswap did. So far none of them can do better things and become bigger than Uniswap. I don't direct you to wrong direction but if you have big money, you can use very small of it to experience on a few DeFi decentralized exchanges. Do this to get experience only and with a hope that you can receive big income if their run airdrops for users. I don't advice to use big or all of your money to trade on small or new DeFi Dex.
3199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump just after a new listing? on: February 24, 2021, 02:00:00 AM
Friends i want to ask about a think that i realy cant explain...there is a token called AME that had an ieo price of 0.02...the token get listed on bithumb globale and the price down to 0.006 (bounty hunters and airdrops)...
AME runs their bounties months ago with very generous payment rates for bounty hunters. They are sort of people who want quick money and don't want to wait too long. They almost don't have any belief in projects they are promoting for. Big dumps from bounty hunters sure.

Quote
after the sell off end the price go up and stay a long time between 0.01 and 0.013...the team annaunced a new listing at mxc exchange and everyone expect a big incrass(the token had just 2.5 mln$ marketcap at 0.01) but what really happened is that the price decrass to 0.005 within one week and this make me confused...now the price is 0.08 and i start believing that what happened in mxc in the first days wasnt innocent
Listing news can result in pumps but it can cause dumps. It depends on the team are playing behind and you can not predict it correctly. You have to connect price changes with bitcoin changes in the same days, weeks. Bitcoin falls will cause big dumps on altcoins.

The price of AME is rallying and makes its new all time high: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/amepay/
