3181  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack did not pay 9 bitcoin win. no contact to me. SCAM. on: November 30, 2017, 01:46:35 PM
eh I don't know why you haven't posted your accusation till now , but I guess you are fine and you will receive the money
I checked FJ thread since the day you posted there and as I see their rep saying that things should be fine , but they are investigating
not a fan of FJ especially these days with their new rules and terms , but I'm sure the community will force them to pay if your account hasn't broken their rules

posting more info may be more powerful , like posting your proof of previous deposits and withdrawals
3182  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM EXCHANGES on: November 30, 2017, 11:27:14 AM
are we talking about how coinbase yesterday went on maintenance during the crazy move ??
btw coinbase wasn't the only one , there is an UAE based exchange called bitoasis also went maintenance the same time that coinbase had the maintenance too
so yeah something shady was happening with exchanges yesterday , it can't be a coincidence

I'm sure about bitoasis , and maybe there were other exchanges that did the same thing yesterday but these two I'm sure about
3183  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Genesis-Mining hasn't paid me for 4 months - BIG INVESTMENT - BE CAREFUL! on: November 30, 2017, 11:22:35 AM

Slow Death was very clear in what he was talking about. Why are you beating around the bush?

No one can declare a service as scam unless there are enough proof to denote the opposite. You feel you have been scammed then you should go for legal actions and not just post in this forum. There are too many cloud mining scams out there but genesis was supposed to be a legit one. But in course of time several people have been calling it scam as well.

Though I am neutral in this regard I would advice the OP to seek legal action like Slow Death said. If you are really forbidden to travel anywhere then I am sorry no one can help you.

sometimes people can't take legal action , me personally I know how it feels for not being able to do that
cause I had a problem with poloniex few months ago and there was nothing that I could do except sharing here in the forums and hoping that my topic can help cause I'm a Syrian citizen and polo is an Ameican company ( I guess you know how this world works  Roll Eyes )
so by sharing his experience there is nothing wrong , at least he can save some other members from falling into genesis mining trap

cause to be honest the only people I know that benefited from GM are the scumbags youtubers who are sharing their refs and spreading false info
3184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum $1500 and BTC $40k - Novogratz on: November 30, 2017, 07:20:36 AM
I'm really tired of all these price prediction news , never buy such news guys or even take them seriously
started to believe that all these news are just to benefit certain traders , they just want to benefit from the hype
the code of bitcoin hasn't changed , and yet we see such news about price only when bitcoin hits high prices while most of these people don't hype bitcoin when it's at a decent price to buy
3185  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: November 29, 2017, 09:53:38 PM
sorry if this was asked before but couldn't find it here in the thread and I just noticed that in roulette you can't make all the type of inside bets
I was trying to make some split bets on roulette , but found that I can only place straight up bets
is there anything I'm missing ?? or the developers made the inside bets only straight up ??
3186  Economy / Gambling / Re: Official Americas Cardroom Thread on: November 29, 2017, 07:14:17 PM
We would like some feedback on a new feature we are working on:

The idea is:

When a player sits out, a button appears on his nameplate. This button is visible to all players who are logged into the client. Any of those players may click the button on that player’s nameplate to begin his sit out timer. It’s like saying “We don’t want you taking up that chair anymore. Client, please start his timer.”

Once the button is pressed, the player’s sit out time bank starts. (Thinking about starting this with 10 minutes.) If no one presses that player’s sit out time bank button, that player can sit in that seat indefinitely.

If the sit out time bank expires, the player is removed from the table and may not return for x minutes (thinking 30 minutes). At which point he has a fresh 10 minute sit out time bank at that table.

If a player lost some time bank and sits in and begins playing again, he will replenish x seconds for each hand played at that table.

Possible interface:

In terms of the interface, here's a first idea. If you have a better idea, we're open to suggestions, etc.

When a player is sitting out, a button like this picture appears on his nameplate.

First idea is here: https://imgur.com/a/OtjZQ

Once someone presses that button, the player sitting out receives a prompt on that table informing him the timer has started and how much time he has left.

The players at the table see the timer depleting and the sit out button is grayed out.

I'm not crazy about the "Let's Play Cards" button name. Was thinking a tooltip when a player hovers over it to say something like "Start a timer on this player to either play or leave the table." However, the way it looks now, it could be interpretted as a heads up challenge or something like that.

Thoughts and/or suggestions?

I don't play much cash games , but I remember sometimes when 3 players were sitting out in a 6 max table and yeah it's annoying
not sure about how much time a player can sit out before you remove him ( at the moment ) , but the new idea is great for sure

about the lets play button , only players on that table can press it ?? or others  can press that button too
like if people who are looking for a seat found an inactive player , can they press that button in order to remove the player and take his place ??
3187  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex is a scam website - AVOID!- WITH PROOF!! on: November 29, 2017, 06:55:19 PM
If being able to withdraw my funds meant sending a selfie, I'd do it.  My issue is that I started a support ticket to find out what the next step is to verify my account but it's been 7 days and I still haven't received a reply.

7 days isn't that long since there are some members who sent their IDs over a month ago , but still bittrex hasn't responded or paid them the money
IDK why people are still using them when they are clearly seeing how bittrex is treating some members
the only way to stop their behavior is to stop using them , it's so easy to scam  when the community don't care about others problems
3188  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT Scam/Theft - waiting five months on $10000 on: November 29, 2017, 06:24:20 PM
yeah sadly yobit takes ages to fix wallets that don't have high trade volume , that's why they shouldn't be offering a lot of shitty coins
is the coin UNIT Universal currency ?? if so then it's weird since the volume in yobit is close to 17 btc now , maybe people don't know yet that they can't withdraw
I'm afraid that there is no much you can do except waiting , yobit already has a red tag due to similar issues with some coins so they don't care about topics here
even CLAM has been on maintenance for over two months now , it seems yobit are so lazy to fix the low volume wallets
3189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the banks decide to start the war on Bitcoin on: November 29, 2017, 05:18:51 PM
I have seen people talking about that many times , like what if banks and governments were buying bitcoins and planning to dump all at one point
this still a theory and it can't be accurate , banks can't do much against bitcoin
we all saw how bitcoin was gaining value even most of banks and governments warned about bitcoin and considered it a bubble

at worst case scenario even if the price were dumped , we all saw that there is huge interest in bitcoin so basically people would love to buy cheap crypto
3190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preferred Bitcoin Exchanges on: November 29, 2017, 03:40:39 PM
it really depends on your country , cause what may be good for some people may not be suitable for your country at all
if I were you I would try all the available exchanges at least for little money first , then stick with the one you liked the most and that allow you to do big transactions

personally I never used exchanges to buy or sell bitcoin for USD , cause it's kinda impossible here in my country
but we have some facebook groups where people can make deals and then do the trade  , this may be a good option for you too
3191  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETCOIN.AG on: November 29, 2017, 01:24:57 AM
I have never deposited ETH to betcoin , but is it really how it looks in email ?? you deposited 5.0E-5 btc  Huh that's not understandable at all for me
also why you aren't posting the tx ?? just post the tx cause it's the only legit proof
by not posting the tx the whole accusation is false IMO , cause the email you received isn't even understandable and it may be fake

Only proof i have atm is the email they sent saying it was recieved but it never got credited to my account there keeping it. https://imgur.com/a/leGqf
i SUGGEST no1 deposit eth there they will keep it

quoted for reference , this doesn't make sense that you don't have a proof for a tx that you made
3192  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTBET.IO is a big scam do not deposit even a single dime there on: November 29, 2017, 01:07:39 AM
it's been ages since I place a bet in sportsbet.io , but they still have their bad repu
no idea about the risk free 10 mbtc first bet terms  , but since they said that they gonna pay you then this gives them no excuse !!
any site can start claiming that you created many accounts and they won't pay you cause you cheated , but since you have asked them twice about the money then they have to pay you

in general the community here can't help if the site doesn't care about their repu
3193  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [VOUCHED][AUTOBUY] Easy way to make 20$ a day with cryptocurrencies on: November 28, 2017, 09:55:08 PM
I have received a vouch copy from OP.
It`s a very short read which contains a basic 'method' which in theory it should be profitable almost riskfree  but in reality its not so easy to apply. You get just the very base of the 'method' in the ebook , but if you can 'build' a good system I can see it beeing profitable.

That's my point and the previous vouchers really annoyed me with their reviews
sellers shouldn't sell such guides without mentioning the name , if I know that the strategy is an arbitrage strategy I wouldn't buy the guide cause I already know it

so in case you are wondering it's ARBITRAGE , there is a 99% chance that you already know that and no need to buy a guide for it
3194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical day bitcoin $ 10,000 on: November 28, 2017, 12:23:25 PM
yeah it's official now , bitcoin is over 10,000$  Smiley
grats for the community and for all holders , this year may close less than 10K if a correction happened but no one can be certain since the madness may keep going

hope that next year will have similar success , everytime I think that there is a possibility  bitcoin goes to 50K next year I go nuts  Grin

but seriously a correction should happen in the next week or so , the price has been going up insanely even nothing really changed in bitcoin itself
3195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea’s Goto Mall adds Bitcoin payments to 620 stores on: November 28, 2017, 11:32:12 AM
if this app can make payments inside their system without the need of sending the bitcoin from clients to store then that would be nice
but accepting bitcoin without such app is useless IMO , cause there is a high fee and long time to wait which makes no sense to use it in a mall
but if people were able to fund the app before leaving the house then send money without fees within the app , that would definitely be great
3196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10k BTC! (Job is going bye bye...giving notice) :) ie MY SHIP CAME IN! Take Poll on: November 28, 2017, 10:58:35 AM
i quit my wageslave job in february and I'm so bored.  i traveled and did a bunch of stuff i thought would be cool, but it gets old fast.  i want to go back to work.

I have tried to explain that many times , that work isn't only about how much you are getting paid and life may be actually boring without work
but in case you hate work you should replace it by something you enjoy instead of totally giving up work

things can get boring quite easily , my passion for poker was so high 3 years ago and now it's not like it was before
3197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: November 28, 2017, 12:10:46 AM
they can't totally ban bitcoin but they can do some things to prevent people from using it publicly for example , simply because they aren't profiting from it
so they ask exchanges to stop accepting traders from that area and maybe prevent local stores from accepting bitcoin , but in general no government can totally ban crypto

it's just like gambling where you can find some countries are totally ok with gambling while others are totally strict
3198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit INVESTBOX on: November 27, 2017, 10:25:33 PM

Try to go in their main thread and you would see that this exchange do have lots of complaints not regarding on their investment box but mostly on the site service itself. I don't have trust on putting up money or investment on a site which do have lots of issues and I haven't see any investors as of now on such investbox which do give or share his words regarding on this investment.

don't want to defend yobit but to be honest most of the problems are about people wanting to withdraw dead coins
exchanges in general are tricky when it comes to users experience , like for me I never had a single problem with yobit since the day I started using them
while I had serious problems with both of poloniex and bittrex , so it's more like you can't trust any exchange but some of them may be better for you
3199  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit INVESTBOX on: November 27, 2017, 12:39:22 PM
the investbox is now showing that there is a 1% daily plan for btc , but it's fake so don't bother depositing in yobit if you want just to invest in that plan cause you won't be able to
I deposited and tried it , but anyways I was planning to buy Lisk if the plan wasn't available and that's what I did
the working plans at the moment for the trusted coins are all 0.1% a day
3200  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [VOUCHED][AUTOBUY] Easy way to make 20$ a day with cryptocurrencies on: November 27, 2017, 05:10:28 AM

but it´s possible to make some money with this method?

it's possible yes , but it's not easy and it requires work also you need to keep funds in two exchanges which makes you trust two exchanges at the same time with your money and I wouldn't risk that especially at the moment
you need to take action fast thats why if you don't have funds in exchanges most likely you will miss the opportunity
The last bittrex drama proves that no one should keep money in any exchange , cause even the "trusted" ones can screw some of their users
