Guys, what a nice ride today ! Litecoin at 150 USD at Bithumb - South Korean Exchange. As the price difference between Bithumb and European an US exchanges is big, has anybody tried arbitrage between them ?

Litecoin has made recovered a lot against Bitcoin after huge decline yesterday. In fiat its performance will be more and better will the availability of awaited features which will bring it in center of attention. This will be used widely for transactions as Bitcoin is store of value more now.

Tried to follow the process as outlined but always got the error
"Error: BTX public key (your address) or signed message not valid"

What's the point of over unnecessary complicating airdrops like that?
Gives me very confidence the project is going to get a broader audience.

This is FOMO fools buying.  I’ve had calls for 2 weeks now from people who called me an idiot at BTC $100 and now they’re all buying.  One friend spent $32,000 for 4 BTC.  Yet refused to spend $10,000 on 50-100 BTC even tho he’s well off.

This BTC pump is artificial.  The CME is gonna start trading futures in like 2-3 weeks.  These are Wall Street pros.  They will have the liquidity to crush and crash BTC and they will.

I wouldn’t be shocked, given the timing of this pump, and the media helping out, if Goldman et al didn’t start the pump.  

So expect BTC to keep inflating until the futures start trading and then expect a bloodbath.

If BCH pumps at that point, given its much tighter supply, you could see BCH easily over $10,000 in 1-2 weeks and then flipping BTC at which point miners Would switch and btc would freeze and he sell panic will accelerate.

Take some profits and don’t put new money at this level into BTC.  Losing paper profits doesn’t hurt as bad your real savings.

Wall Street is coming in full force like I said in 2013, and they never lose.

This coin is horribly overvalued right now. I remember when it was hanging at #150 on coinmarketcap for like a year. Now it's showing typical pump n dump behaviors.

Here are some thoughts to why I will never buy Einsteinium:

1. The name. Einsteinium is already the name of an element, which makes things confusing. And also, why Einstein? Sure he's in the top 5 of scientists, but I think his name was slapped on there with no higher thought just because it sounds catchy for the general public. Personally I don't have any particular love for the guy, so I wouldn't idolize him like this.

2. The idea. "We give money to scientific projects". What makes the devs qualified to decide who gets the money? I'm not saying this coin is a scam but all benefit scams follow this pattern. A group of people collect money and keep most of it for themselves.

3. Use cases. Is this a usable currency like Litecoin or just a benefit fund? People seem to be buying Einsteinium just because it's a nice pump n dump. And if this is meant to be used as a currency, what makes it any better than Litecoin, for example? It would be weird to buy groceries with "Einsteinium".

EMC2 is a pump and dump coin, pitched mainly by Gembit on other coin sites.
They run off the Einstein Branding but have nothing unique to offer but bullshit.

Any coin can help fund scientific research.
Notice the ambiguous nature of what research they fund - and even so, who says we need the 'scientific research' they offer.

I'm not sure why there is so much confusion here... There was an original claiming period in which BTC holders could claim BTX at a 1 to 1 ratio and that ended on November 2nd. Additionally weekly airdrops have been going on since the early days of the coin. I was the one that created the poll for the the community vote on the distribution. The second phase came in the form of a virtual fork so that Bitcoin holders could claim 50% of their BTC balance in BTX. At the same time, 10% of this unclaimed balance on November 2nd went to the development fund and if you do some research this is pretty standard among projects. Lastly, the remaining coins are to be used for weekly airdrops that increase 1% per month until they are gone. (this is the #1 address on the explorer) The coins that were "virtually forked" to Bitcoin holders might or might not be claimed in the future but it is indeed final and not reversible. Consequently, these virtually forked coins are not in developer hands anymore.

*edit* Only addresses that have registered for airdrops receive them so people that have not claimed their coins do not receive airdrops.
