For the country i think it is very hard but individual people it can because not all people in the countries can access bitcoin since poor people can not afford to but gadgets and they will prefer to buy foods to live longer.
Yes that's the main problem for those poor countries they don't even know how to use some gadgets such as computer,laptops and other things with is associated with technology. Because their education system is not even reaching those people who are really in need for many of them are living in depressed area. i do not know how you define poor people or a poor country, but you have some misconceptions about that. you do not need to be educated to use those technical gadgets and you do not need much money to buy them. i think you are thinking of the super extremely poor, but they are just a minority. I'm not having some misconceptions with that, I'm just pointing out the real actions and that's happening for those poor countries. Education is needed to use gadgets because it is now being used by many schools all over the world and what I'm pointing out is those people living in poor countries aren't able to touch gadgets and they need to spend their money just to be able to survive by buying foods also because they are living far from the city, I'm talking about the depressed area, where there is no electricity, no light, no power, no internet. there are not many places left where people live with no electricity, no light, no power and no internet. and in the most cases they live in such places by there own choice. only the absolute porest of the poor live in such conditions and there are relatively few of them. you would be surprised about the technology poor people are using. Are you sure about that? Maybe you should to watch some documentaries about those people friend. They are many of them and they are really considered as the poorest people in the world. It is not their own choice to live there, because they were born there and they grew up with that type of community. Adding new coins will help that , more coins means more volume. So I agree with adding newer coins. I guess you're right mate cos trust, honest, punctual, volume (big fish who can put their money in) and thinking outside the box of something to spice up are the soul of business. This is the reason why I think a mobile friendly will help. |

Personally I believe that you guys should always offer a deadline for payments so that we don't need to ask these sort of questions over and over again. "Very soon" could mean 2 days, a week, a month, or even a year depending on the context.
It is now around a week past the scheduled payment date. Spreadsheet is ready, what are you waiting for?

Sorry for the silence, but the situation haven't changed, so there's really nothing to update.
The spreadsheet still has a problem, as it doesn't take into account the avatar changes, so some people got their rate incorrect even though they might not realize it. These things must be correct before we can send out the payout.
We are waiting for the campaign manager to finish the spreadsheet, and to compile a list for the payouts, and then we can send them. I hope we get this done as soon as possible.
I cannot promise any date for the payout, as that would just be an empty promise with no backing. All I can say is that we make the payout when we can.

I'm sure they won't like to do it that way cos it seems like they want to issue all the payment once. Out of curiosity. I dont see why the rush for android and iphone apps, the site is still young and those will be costly to build, i think they should wait until there is a larger demand to do that
You might be right about the cost but if they make the site cooler and mobile friendly it will bring in more people/customers. I could remember when I still use yobit and I knew what I had to go through each time I went on their site. Likely, I am reacting with a bit more assertiveness than necessary because it seems a bit problematic to look at such short term price changes without putting those assessments into context. Sure, it is possible that we could experience some never returning explosive uptrend in prices, but it seems to be quite more likely that we are going to experience several consolidation periods and even small retractions ... yet overall, we seem to be continuing to experience a considerable amount of ongoing upwards price pressures.. and our corrections since lower $600s have been largely insubstantial with continued upwards price pressures. I surely don't have any kind of crystal ball, but it seems to be within reasonable possibilities that we could get another explosive upward leg into the mid - $800s... but also, we could experience a significant downward correction too... just to weed out some of the weak hands.... Currently, I would place the odds of another upwards 5% leg as slightly better than 50% as compared with a 10% downward leg. , Ok and that's still fair enough cos every successful business must accept debt. Though, the debt must not be much. However, savetherainforest said is time for new predictions. Does that mean we should be accepting something more bigger before the end of this year? |

There is no additional advantage of having one, but they just look cool !

From what i understand is they have like 75% of control of the BTC mining. The reason is the cheap technology they have like mother boards and other components. Not to mention the cheap energy they have. Its very hard in the USA where i live to compete with them due to how expensive energy and computers are here.
You're absolutely correct and that's the point why China is the controller of bitcoin. But I don't know is hard for people to accept this cos you can't run away from the truth. The Chinese are only controlling the mining of the bitcoin. But the miners can also be built by westerners. Mate you have already know the truth with what you said. Let me use this as an example. The Central Bank of your countrry are the one who provide and design new currency into the system, isn't it? Likewise as bitcoin cos the means to generate more/new bitcoin into the system is to mine and the country which see that as business automatically control bitcoin cos the more they mine the more you and I see more bitcoin in the market Your analogy is far from perfect The main problem with it is that the Central bank of your country is the only entity which is allowed to issue new money tokens. This basically means if it doesn't do that, then nobody will. And here's the crux of the matter. If Chinese miners choose not to mine any longer, that doesn't in the least mean that no one else will mine bitcoins either. On the contrary, miners around the world will just be happy to mine the bitcoins that the miners from China chose to lose. This is where your analogy fails Don gt me wrong mate. If China choose not to mine anymore all the miners in the world will be happy i know that and i use the Central Bank thing as an example cos China is the gateway of bitcoin mining. |

They are saying they would like to protect users data but can they and will they actualy do it? Are they realy interested to protect their users data? And even if they are do they have the means to do it. I'm sure government has different instruments to make the pressure on coinbase to reveal the data especialy if they want to continue their business in legitimate way.
It hurt so deep like a knife cos if the government proceed withe pressure coin base may give in and i hope coin base have something to make the government stop the petition in other to protect each and every user data appropriate. |
