3181  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: August 15, 2021, 11:21:24 AM
Chceked both bustadice.com and bustabit.com. Good thing about both these sites is that anyone can start gambling straight away. I have lost so much in dice gambling that no attraction can take me back to dice gambling.

I still prefer bustabit because of the live community they have there well it's a bit lonely placing bets on bustadice, since there's a live chat and its entertaining to see that we all waiting for the outcome of every rounds.
Whatever you prefer between them, there's no competition between the two as they have their own main game that's being played. I don't know why you're saying that placing bets on bustadice is lonely.

Is there any other games that was related to bustabit and bustadice?
They are focused with their respective games.
3182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ideology of Bitcoin on: August 13, 2021, 10:37:43 PM
There is no infinite in this world, everything has an end and a new one will come. But I believe bitcoin will last for long because of supply and demand that drives through to become the most valuable digital currency in our generation. What I love in bitcoin is FREEDOM to use, to spend, to earn and to keep without any third party.
Yeah, there's no infinite but with what OP is saying is all about its existence until it can for a long time. We don't have any numbers when it will stay but it's good to stay as long as we live.

Technically, about quantum computers. It's said that it's one major catalyst of bitcoin but aren't there quantum computers already? and I just leave that technical side to those who are knowledgeable than me but it's all good, bitcoin will last and even government intervenes. They cannot do with its growth and if a certain country bans it, they're delaying or stopping the growth of their people instead through bitcoin.
3183  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 13, 2021, 09:35:12 PM
If you have sold because you need that profit, that's fine. But you should also have that long term plan upon holding bitcoin.

It's risky to say not to own bitcoin because you're going to miss a lot. And that's why whenever you sell, make sure that you will also have that time and price to buy back so that you won't miss every time bitcoin goes up.
3184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rock Legend Gene Simmons Says He's "All In" on Bitcoin on: August 13, 2021, 11:00:41 AM
I don't know him but did a few research about this guy. He seems to be an influential person in his genre and with that figure of wealth in bitcoin and other altcoins, he knows what he's doing.

But people who are fan of his, they shouldn't be just hyped and attracted because their idol is in bitcoin. They still have to make their own researches before investing just as him.
3185  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin losing its purpose? on: August 13, 2021, 09:43:51 AM
Exchanges have set their limits for those friendly-countries that don't enforce KYC to the exchanges customers. Some exchanges does that and there's no problem with it but the limit is just exact to those retail investors and traders.

They have a lot of option in the US and they know the limitations if they won't pursue KYC. To us, like small investors and traders. We know where we should go, as long as it's a good exchange and it doesn't enforce KYC with some limits, we should be good with it.
3186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin faces strong resistance to reach $50k? on: August 12, 2021, 09:46:42 PM
Don't just look at the end of this week. There are more days to come and months remaining at the end of this year.

If you're that short, you really have to cope with what's going to happen but as someone who looks at the long term. We'll surely hit $50k again but there's no exact time and date when it will happen.

Just like the usual market, it's going to surprise us with a sudden rise and might surpass that $50k.
3187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first bitcoin shopping on: August 12, 2021, 08:46:02 PM
Congratulations on your purchase. Aside from purchasing from the forum's merchants, try to look outside the forum as there are merchants too where you can use your bitcoin to buy things.

And do not forget to hold. No one stops you from shopping with the use of bitcoin but if you're also seeing it long term wise, hold some and shop some.
3188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HACKER returns $260m in funds | One of the biggest Crypto hacks ever. on: August 12, 2021, 12:14:26 PM
I don't understand why a 'Hacker' who can hack a secured network will transfer it to a centralised exchange??

He is smart enough to hack secured network but again so naive to transfer it to a centralised exchange? Doesn't really adds up!!
It could be the attitude of that hacker that made him return or send it to a centralized exchange. He knows for sure that it will eventually be returned if he sends some funds to a cex.

I think there's an incident in the past that a hacker also has returned the funds that he has hacked. But I don't also get why they do that, maybe just to show the flaws of their security? we don't know what's the reason behind that.

But one thing for sure, hacking is hacking and if they're caught, they know what will happen to them and might end up behind those bars.
3189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stock Market, Fundstrat’s Tom Lee predicts Bitcoin has a shot at $100K on: August 12, 2021, 09:29:09 AM
Tom Lee has been a known bitcoin bull and investor. If you've been in the market since before the all-time high and the followed-up bear market of 2017 and 2018.

You'll get to see him giving predictions that were really positive. And on this one, he has never stopped giving good predictions but most of the time with his past predictions, they're not good with what the market showed.

And for this year, it is the community's sentiment that there's really a chance for bitcoin to $100k. Everyone is talking about that prediction from the forum.
3190  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: August 12, 2021, 08:23:46 AM
In some advanced and first & second-world countries, they can be in a full digitalized society that can be implement cashless. But having that said, it cannot be applied entirely with every country.

There's still a lot of people that are not fond of technology and governments that are seeing bitcoin as a threat. They're not looking at it as a threat to replace fiat but because they cannot see how they're going to benefit from it while their citizens are earning from it but not taxable. It's mostly being used as a store of value.
3191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does one start on crypto? on: August 11, 2021, 11:56:29 PM
Don't invest yet until you're able to understand the whole concept of cryptocurrencies and how volatile this market is.

If someone just introduced you to it and didn't mentioned about the volatility of it. You need to study it first because mostly when someone just hears out that a person earns through crypto.

He'll jump into the bandwagon without knowing that how huge the risk that was taken by that person before he ended up earning. And with your goal to add some monthly profit then you're wanting to learn about trading.

There is a process before you can do that, however, you can start by buying bitcoin with around the smallest amount that you can test to see how it feels like owning it but you won't feel the fluctuations since it's just a small amount.
3192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish News!!! on: August 11, 2021, 10:53:04 PM
Of course,,, I do not mind a bit of good news but we have to accept nothing can change this move forward. Not good news, not bad news. Here we go!
Yes, moon boys are back in action.  Tongue

News are indicators but sometimes they're discouraging the market whenever the news are not that really good.

Now what surprised me is that Monday and Tuesday prices did dip but only for a little while and not so badly in fact made a new high,,, which was different from 2 previous weeks where those days wiped out the weekend gains (Temporarily only of course).

Does this mean bears are tired or waiting?Wink
Well, those dips aren't really that felt that much because of the quick bounce that has happened.

And in this moment, I'm just going with what's happening and enjoying a few gains on this moment. Just to be sure that I might missed and no regret if ever it's going to push more prices up which I also like to happen.

Just always anticipate that the market won't be staying long time whether it's bears or bulls.
3193  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Luno Exchange Phishing scam on: August 11, 2021, 09:53:16 PM
Thanks for this.

It could also happen for the other exchanges that we use. This scheme gets to the traders if their numbers are leaked or they've used it to sign up to a fishy website.

3194  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC approaches resistance on: August 11, 2021, 08:56:08 PM
Yep, a smile on our faces because this is what we like. What's happening is favorable to us, holders and investors and never sold during the dips and as well as those who have bought during the dip.

What happens though when we are about to close that resistance of $47k++ because it is just $1k from the current price we have right now.

Anyhow, I think $47k could be breach in the next 1-3 days, maybe we can see the price goes down a bit, but with the current FOMO we have, no doubt that $47k-$50k could be achievable even better the end of the month.
Hopefully that it will but expect that there will be some dips again as it's on its way to $50k. If it breaks that wall, then we'll see it again crossing back to its former ath.
3195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $48k the next Bitcoin benchmark? on: August 11, 2021, 07:57:26 PM
Will $48k Bitcoin price be achievable this week?
Bitcoin being at $46k this week, of course, $48k is achievable for this week. How much was it when this week has started? there are a lot of possibilities.

But let's just enjoy whatever the price will be ending for this week. If it stabilizes around $43k-$46k then that's so much better prices that we have since a few weeks ago.
3196  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase New FUD on: August 10, 2021, 10:44:23 PM
Meanwhile, there's this news about how much Coinbase have earned and it's on a surge. Maybe there's this connection to this fud or fact?

3197  Economy / Economics / Re: Where is the value reflected? on: August 10, 2021, 09:29:20 PM
but I will not use cryptocurrency for payment.
Why you shouldn't use crypto for payments? that's they are intended for. You can keep the biggest part but don't stop yourself from using it for payments so that you're also part of those contributors with its adoption.

I think it's odd that we want more merchants, more institutions, more businesses and other establishments to adopt and accept crypto for payments. While us, we don't want to be part of the bigger thing and use a portion of our assets for payments.

It won't hurt to pay a little with the portfolio that you hold. But I guess that's just me that's thinking of it and we all have different visions and thoughts towards this matter.
3198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freelancing Sites that Pay in Bitcoin/Crypto on: August 10, 2021, 08:27:28 PM
Doing task with sites like microlancer for me is good when you have spare time and you want to have something in reward from using it.

I agree that it's not that much but for those that are in other parts of the world that could be a big help for just doing those small task.

Do we have new freelancing sites excluding those known list above?
I've seen some but as pointed out, not really most of them are that effective and successful as there's not that much clients to list their tasks. It's still better to go to the Services or some sub-reddit that's related to crypto jobs.
3199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish News!!! on: August 10, 2021, 07:25:49 PM
Now I get the idea why we're seeing a huge pump today. Yeah, the news was literally bullish and it had reflected already to the market. More adoption means that there's going to be a higher demand.

People are too quick to forget that there's a supply limit of bitcoin and that's why if there's adoption that's going to keep coming for bitcoin, we're really going to see it skyrocket more soon.

I think it had nothing to do with it though. This is just the 3rd weekend in a row that pumping prices came,,, and Monday a bit of a dump, so this is the socalled cycles of attempts before the new ATH is ready:)

Of course,,, I do not mind a bit of good news but we have to accept nothing can change this move forward. Not good news, not bad news. Here we go!
Yes, moon boys are back in action.  Tongue

These cycles are showing that we're really going to be there again on $50k anytime soon. Just as what we saw how it's quick from $29k up to almost doubled with a short time frame.

News are indicators but sometimes they're discouraging the market whenever the news are not that really good.

its  climbing 56,000 now as i speak and the graphs showing how strong this trend is so basically 50k is an easy target for now.

but what we are seeking is at least going back to 60k to see if the sign is correct that we are going to another ATH before this year ends or at least making it high to 100k .

though we must consider the risk because there are still opportunity that manipulation is behind this climb now.
You mistyped 46,000 into 56,000.  Tongue

It's still the same, the aim that we're hoping to see at the end of the year and everybody is talking about $100k.

That will be not an easy target but we saw it reach a price that's also hard to see which was the ath that it did. I think that we're going to see some dips as it stabilizes at $45,000.
