321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify scam ICOs on: March 07, 2018, 01:38:37 PM
Usually, a simple google search regarding the ICO, will help you find out if it's scam or not. Just google "[ICO NAME] scam" and there will be either no result or you will find out the ICO is actually scam.

Not always, but very very often ICOs became fraud only once, and totally Grin So it can be hard to identify some scam before it turns out scam, thats the point.
And sometimes google cant help with this decision. Thats why all of us need to make their own research. We cant get clear market until people stop investing scam projects.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000$ for one Coin on: March 07, 2018, 01:34:30 PM
Dear Members

I am planning to invest 5000$ for a coin. Do not tell put your all money in to one coin...

Please mention one coin

I didnt get if you would like to invest all $5000 for one coin or you would like to buy different on this amount Cheesy
Ok, I'll take your last words, and I will recommend you only one coin. And it is cheaper than $1.
This coin is BitWhite. This is coin(not fork, it is running on its own blockchain) based on DPoS algorythm. There are 100 delegates, and by voting delegates you can gain reward by participating in network without running your own node. Simple as is, and that is cool. Also it has really low supply(60m total, market has only 30m) and now it costs around 0.1. So it can easily grow till $1 and you will make 50 000 from 5 000, and this is in short term. So get a closer look on this coin Wink
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO on: March 05, 2018, 08:11:28 PM
I dont think that investing in TG ICO is any good idea. They are raising one billion.

I agree with you. They will receive billion dollars for what? What can they make for billion dollars? Coin which can be integrated in messenger and thats all? They need to make really great ecosystem, real utility token.
And press said(so this is not fact) that they can make it only on march 2019. So long for such a big amount of money. I really dont know if it is good idea to participate in GRAM
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: March 05, 2018, 08:06:59 PM
A lot of airdrops are meant to defraud you.

They send emails to your inbox and send messages on Telegram! The purpose is to participate in their crowdfunding!

There are some good projects remaining, who destribute their tokens or coins through airdrops. But really really small amount.
I decided to participate in a big quantity of airdrop for last 2 month but I didn't receive anything still, except MoneroGold which became scam in a moment.
And special warning is for airdrops which require KYC. This is just collecting of others' id or another documents
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I HOLD this: ----> post your holding coins! on: March 05, 2018, 08:02:21 PM
I got two coins for extremely HODL
One coin is BitWhite - it just entered the market, and now it is very cheap. Low supply says that this price will not be for long. Especially when you can gain % from supporting nodes automatically.
Another one, which is not on markets now - Current. Really huge run will be in 2018 for this token. Great idea and perfect team, and dont forget about media support - I will hodl it for a long term
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crpyto Hype seems to be over? on: March 05, 2018, 07:58:36 PM
We are going through a correction phase and this is healthy for the markets. We can't have just upward movements, we also need some downward movements for properly valuing the coins. Just relax and hodl for some more time we are going to be back in green soon, just wait for Bitcoin to become stable in price. That's when the altcoins pump.

Yep, too many crypto-participants who joined market on the pump and saw only December bull run. But many coins didnt reached their 2017 highs.
It is just the matter of time. How can the crypto hype end when bitcoin is $11000 worth??
I think it is just another cycle, we should just wait. Next few years we will se very interesting things
327  Economy / Reputation / Re: What if bounty Manager very arrogant? on: March 05, 2018, 07:54:49 PM
Hello. My rank on the forum has changed today. Now I'm a Member. Please consider this in week period.
I wrote this a month ago, but you not made any changes to the table. Please, correct my rank on "Member" for these 4 weeks and change count of stakes (Signature Campaign).
I would really like to get an answer to my question.

This is what the Manager does with the participants globcoin bounty.

That is sad, maybe even bad, but what you can do about it? Maybe there is another way to contact your manager - telegram or something like that.
Being bounty manager in crypto is not that easy hobby. So it takes time to check every campaign, just imagine - twitter, facebook, reddit, medium, signature, and you need to check every participant.
So try to find your manager in telegram chat of your project, that can help you
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 02, 2018, 05:49:43 AM
Exchangers are not safe as they can be hacked and if this happens you can lose all your coins.

But lokal machine can also be hacked, so we gat a little problem here - everything can be hacked Cheesy
Hacking any machine is only matter of time and resources. But exchanges can not only me hacked - they can turn scam, and tell people they were hacked. In that case using wallet on own machine is much more better. So if you operate with crypto - exchanges, if you a long term holder - only own wallets, especially consisting hardware will be great for next year or two - perfect variant
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: $1M [AIRDROP] Current: Blockchain Streaming Backed by Mark Cuban | $36M RAISED on: March 01, 2018, 08:00:52 PM
Hi dear bounty manager! Smiley Where did you disappear, we miss you, come back please Cheesy
The signature bounty spreadsheet is not updated for almost two weeks, I just wanted to specify if everything is ok Smiley
Thanks
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 altcoins to invest on: March 01, 2018, 07:55:41 PM
BitcoinWhite? Is it mlm? I wanna to find profitable mlm alts.

MLM why lol Grin
No this is not. Also it is now not BitcoinWhite - a few days ago they had rebranding and now they are BitWhite
Because "bitcoin" part in name makes people think that it is another fork. But they have their perfect technology. Yesterday they aded reward for DPoS, today they got one very cool news - they made one deal with USA for 100 000 000$. Check their community, know more. This will be a huuuuge run. Not many people understands it
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO - is it for real? on: March 01, 2018, 07:50:07 PM
Hi! Couldn't find any topics on bitcointalk about ICO of Telegram messenger. Not sure that this topic belongs to this discussion board but couldn't find anything more relevant...
So is it for real that Telegram is planning a huge ICO or internet is just going crazy about fake news?   Huh Huh Huh
I wanted to invest in that coin. I've read that the ICO for the Telegram project already finished?

It looks like kinda private sale is already finished. But of course - it is only rumors.
I saw someone in Telegram invited into the pool, they are telling that they are participants in ICO and they got passed to private sale.
But I think this is scam, really. And another rumor - investors will wait till 2019 spring to see something technologically Smiley
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst altcoin you know? on: March 01, 2018, 07:46:28 PM
I mean this is an interesting post, but there are a whole lot more very bad altcoins that you might need hundreds of days to know.

Why do you want to do that?

Haha.

I think we should focus on the good ones and research and study.

For example, DeepOnion.

Because you know, if the topic will be "best altcoin ever" - it will be live topic with tons of messages where everybody will advertise the coin that he bought or get in signature(support). As you did Wink
But when you write about coin that was bad for you - it is help. Helping other people not to lose their money, so they can search through tons of "good" projects where to invest and when they see coin from this topic - they will already know that it is not so good as was mentioned. I think this is more helpful
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: March 01, 2018, 07:39:57 PM
I have a great story that I was involved in the last summer Smiley
I was buying altcoins, decided to make a big diversified portfolio, so this was like - I'm reading coin description, then look on community, and if the idea is great imo, I buy Cheesy I know, this is veeery wrong, but I did so.
And when I bought all that I needed - there 15$ remaining on my balance. And I decided to buy something that I dont know about. And you know what? It was Verge Grin And these 15$ became 980$(more than 1000$ in a moment)
I'm telling this to tell that if you want ti buy something on that amount - just buy something that is not well-know. It can be a rocket
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: March 01, 2018, 06:35:20 PM
just hold. if you have a job, focus on it, maybe it will take your mind off the market. also, there are a lot of airdrops and bounty campaigns around.

Quiet good suggest.
There is no need to sell in lost, market always will give the chance to revanche. It is just the matter of time.
And whatever anyone will say - even BCH adopters who bought it high will be able to get out without lost. So as for me - hold is the only right way
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: March 01, 2018, 05:26:38 PM
Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

KYC is only for safety and nothing too worry about it, get your ID take picture, up load it and problem solve. If you're afraid your private information stolen just leave the ICO is better I believe. Until now my KYC always accepted and my data/ account still safe, so I'll keep participate with ICO with or with out KYC.

This is not for safety in my opinion Smiley
When project team complete something kinda KYC - this is for safety, I agree. So developers will not get disappeared with money.
But what about investors? They already give money, why they should give their ID, their documents, I dont understand. I mean I understand, but I dont like it. Smiley
But what I dont like most of all - KYC for airdrop. This is autism
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ ? on: February 28, 2018, 08:07:30 PM
Do you think Altcoin that is less than $1 at this moment is a good buy? Altcoin such as Ripple ($0.9898), XEM ($0.9890), etc.

Ripple and XEM are not good example in that case. I mean, XEM is really great choice, it has greatest community and you can join it, but this coin is kinda grown for the market already, so if you buy it - dont wait that it will give you easy profit in short term. XEM is real long term, perfect Java code, agreements, community - all is good.

But if you want to make some profit in short term - look for some small projects that have entered the market not long time ago.
For example - BitWhite. Low supply, low price, but great technology. Who knows maybe this coin will be in top-20 in a year. And with small cap coins you can make more than with others. But risks, dont forget about risks. XEM will not leave in one day
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: February 27, 2018, 02:23:50 PM
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards

EDIT:

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

i've been on this forum for 8months and i already earn $16,000+ by just joining signature campaign social media and blog bounty.
the first 3-4 months I earn almost nothing but when i reached full member the stakes got bigger and bigger.

Wow, thats really fantastic results. I am on forum for half a year but I participated in bounty programs not much, maybe because I decided to reach Member rank first Cheesy
I have registered on bitcointalk for info, I like to read people here, I like to communicate, here I've found many interesting information.
And since I decided to participate in signature campaigns - I didn't sell any coin Smiley Yep, I believe every project that I advertise and I spend time to find the best. So I even dont know how much money did I get from bounties Cheesy
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] Current: Blockchain Streaming Backed by Mark Cuban | 200,000+ 🚀 on: February 27, 2018, 09:22:49 AM
For many investors even the onepager is too much Tongue
Those are probably not serious investors Cheesy

Why do you think so? In my opinion serious investors are not that type of people who can make decision to invest depending only on website quality. Bitcoin hadn't any website. But it has what? Correct. It has whitepaper. The most important thing in crypto.
And Current has both - great whitepaper with brilliant idea and perfect website Smiley
So this is no surprise (for me at least) that guys have reached hardcap already Wink
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most promising ICOs For 2018-2020 on: February 27, 2018, 09:16:29 AM
I think CURREN must be a successful ico!

CRNC currently integrates the best content and features, from the most popular media network to all functions in one, to be the next generation of media flow!

Same haha Grin

I think Current is one of the best ICOs of 2018, they reached hardcap so fast, so we can consider that interest to this project is really huge, even now, when it is not advertised a lot.
And when guys will reach their roadmap goals, CRNC will make x100 from its ICO price. And pay your attention, I'm not saying "maybe" Wink
Of course it will take some time, but those who can wait and have patience will be rewarded
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New In Cryptocurrency on: February 25, 2018, 02:27:28 PM
You can search something about how to mine coins on youtube, it is not that hard, but you should know that your profit will not be as big as you want to.
In your case this is not the right decision to sit and relax while your only card will mine. It will be like to try what mining is.
If you want profit - ejoy searching for ICOs. If you want mining - just buy some cards and make a rig. This way you will gain from mining not experience only but also profit, so you can then buy more cards
