321  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: January 22, 2018, 01:33:27 AM
I am sure crypto currencies started ruling the currency market and this has caused the countries ban bitcoin in the respected counrtries. Crypto has bit shaken the gorvenments in recent days. Few countries announced that bitcoiin is illegal and many started adapting it knowing the benefits behind. Many have trusted in crypto and invested in it assuring a good trun over. The potential exists, but for the moment is just potential. I believe that current solutions have plenty of technical credibility and enough processing power, but they are not commercially viable as they are.
First of all, suppose to know that regular currency and cryptocurrency are two things that are very unique and have their own utility. Why do people always compare and argue about cryptocurrency who will overthrow the regular currency? I just want to ask one thing only, this is an absolute question that can overcome all arguments and debate about all this. What is the fate of those living in the village and the traditional environment? Should not they use cash and ordinary currency? Even smartphones they do not have. Especially if told to use the technology and learn the cryptocurrency market? That would be too complicated and inconvenient for them.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is banned by the government on: January 22, 2018, 01:28:33 AM
Think of it from the point of view of government officials. Bitcoin is scary because it's anonymous. They don't know what the bitcoin users are paying for. This means that if they legalize it in their country, it's possible that they've legalized a currency that can be used for drug trades, terrorism, weapons, etc. This is dangerous because the government is not supposed to scare the citizens. Besides those reasons, I don't think there's a strong enough reason to ban bitcoin.
Actually it depends on each country. There are countries who want and can take advantage of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency so they legalize and manage Bitcoin. There is also a very concerned country that oversees the various activities of cryptocurrency within the country so that no fraud, fraud, and crime is done with easy to use cryptocurrency. However, on the other hand there are also countries that do not want to take advantage of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency because they feel disappointed first with cryptocurrency. They think cryptocurrency can not be used by the government and do not use taxes.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: January 22, 2018, 01:24:13 AM
In one hand yes but in other not. Corruption generelly is more effective in third world countries and computing technology knowledge in these regions is in a very low level which inhibit bad intentioned people to act in this universe. From the moment that a government decides to introduce officially and ethically BTC in its economy, all the financial processes control will be easier, faster and efficiently. But there's a question: Do they want it? At this moment is when BTC cannot reduce corruption!
It's very complicated to talk about and tends to be unpredictable. How to predict the future that has not happened and not yet certain? Moreover, corruption and cryptocurrency are two very different things. Cryptocurrency is a digital currency that exists only in physical form and is used to transact freely without the intervention of banks, taxes, and government. While corruption, is an act to save a sum of money that is not our right, the money from the community and or the property of others. So you should know that cryptocurrency is difficult to connect with corruption because cryptocurrency is just a currency.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: January 22, 2018, 01:20:30 AM
It is a possible idea to have a cashless society. It will have to start with public enlightenment as many people today are still yet to accept this norm. Many people refuse to  even  collect their Debit as well as their credit cards, because bank charges and lack of knowledge on how it is used. It will go a long way if the government help to implement this by ensuring that certain things are put in place for proper starting of this policy. Good electricity power  supply, free  internet access, functional ATM .. etc are all that must be put in place for cashless  plan to be able to work effectively.
In my opinion, cashless systems could be done in big and modern countries. However I guess the cashless system can not be realized in the village and the various traditional places. Why ? Because not everyone understands and can use technology. Many people can not use a computer and do not have a smartphone. They are the poor people who live in the village and the simple environment. They will go to traditional markets to transact and shop. You understand what I mean right? The point is, cashless systems can be realized slowly in the city, but can not be realized in the village. And Cash and currency in physical form are still needed.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to banks? on: January 22, 2018, 01:15:13 AM
They will continue to exist along with the cryptocurrency, we know that crypto is a threat to financial institution because of its strong prices and still keeps growing but banks could not be easily gone as long as the fiat system is there. Banks are conservative institutions. From their point of view, they will be very little working with Bitcoin business, while they may lose a lot. In fact, the biggest piece of the company will only generate a few hundred thousand dollars in income to the bank, which is of little value to him.
Nothing happens to the bank. Banks will remain the same and will probably develop in the form of systems and services. You do not need to be too excited, and I guess you just have to focus on how many cryptocurrencies you can manage and you collect. Perhaps with the growing cryptocurrency, banks will also update and evolve into something bigger. Maybe banks will be no longer needed if most people use cryptocurrency. But I think the bank will still exist and is needed by people. Why ? That's because we'll still be using regular and normal currency.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: January 20, 2018, 10:02:30 PM
Yes very influential in my opinion, because everyone in the world is using social media and from social media many people who become aware of Bitcoin. The more people who know about bitcoin, the more new members of investors and new bitcoin users through social media botcoin increasingly penetrated throughout the world, so not in deny if social media contribute to the development of bitcoin. As bitcoin and other cryptocurrecies are not supported by governments and we never see advertisements on TV, Social Medias are very effective. I think day by day many new people know bitcoin via social medias. News and rumors on social medias can also affect the prices very much.
Of course social media is at war is important in the growth of Bitcoin. Many people discuss and ask in social media. Usually people will discuss in facebook group and ask there. They will ask the masters who have learned about the world of cryptocurrency for a long time. But there are also beginners who still stupid and lack of knowledge but want a quick profit. Many people promote to social media, even ICO also need to be promoted through social media. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can be famous for social media. Because every time there is a potentially new cryptocurrency, I always know from social media.
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices dropped, should you buy? on: January 20, 2018, 10:00:05 PM
Simple logic when the price is low, BUY and when the price increased more than you bought it before then SELL. Believing in the potential of bitcoin is different when your goal is only to take profits. But that's the idea that we must give to the newbies out there. If you are for the tech, you are on the right way and you'll get a good journey in bitcoin but if you're for the profit only, you will easily end your trip.
If you're sure, I think you can buy and collect Bitcoin as much as possible. Always hope for the best, and be prepared for the worst. But I think Bitcoin will be fine. That's because we've seen this a lot, and Bitcoin is always up and down. But we will soon see and know that Bitcoin will rise above all the shortcomings that occur today. I hope I can collect Bitcoin as much as I can while there is still time. So if there is a sudden increase in prices, I can get a lot of profit then. I guess you know what I mean and now the choice depends on you.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: January 20, 2018, 09:52:54 PM
As bitcoin continues to spread it wings, multiple industries are starting to accept it as a payment option.,one of the key attributes of bitcoin is that it is borderless, this enables its easy use across the globe, without having to visit currency exchanges and pay their commissions and fees. Moreover, it also helps in avoiding the need to carry much cash around. I believe bitcoin payment for hotels will be appreciated mostly by travellers, tourists and the likes.
That's good because more and more people will be familiar with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Not just dihotel, the company also receive Bitcoin, whether for transactions, employee salaries, or investment. There's also a restaurant that Bitcoin receives, but I'm confused about something. As already mentioned by the person above, what about the Bitcoin fee? Is not the current Bitcoin fee higher and more difficult to do transactions? Maybe it would be better if we use Dogecoin just for a transaction like this. Because I think, the price of Dogecoin has not changed so much that we do not make loss or profit. And the fee is small.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why crypto will die on: January 20, 2018, 09:49:57 PM
First watch this vid. Crypto is incentivising people to destroy the planet. At the moment the world is focused on getting rid of plastic, I'd say crypto is what we need to get rid of next. If your crypto isn't green it's going to be taken out and shot. If your favourite coins don't destroy the plane they might have a future.
Looks like you are a 'narrow minded' person, you can`t take advantage of objects, which exist in the world including crypto. Now is the modern age, we are required able to take advantage of the situation nor conditions that exist with the best of it. Remember, everything that is created brings benefits, and disasters each, but everything is back to you, in what way do you do it?
Let me tell you the most basic information, why do people like cryptocurrency. Look at the price of Bitcoin a few years ago, you'll know that the price of Bitcoin at that time is still hundreds of dollars. Now, look at the current Bitcoin price, you'll know that Bitcoin's price has become thousands of dollars even tens of thousands of dollars. With so many price increases going on in Bitcoin, of course many people will be interested in buying, collecting, investing and storing Bitcoin. Given that, do you want everyone to ignore crypto? Cryptocurrency is the latest solution and innovation for the world economy. So it can not be eliminated. Can only be developed only.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: January 20, 2018, 09:37:03 AM
I see no reason why should we choose just one of them at the moment. I think they both will perform very well this year and will reach new highs. On me i prefer with ethereum. Nowadays ethereum has many investors and supporters who supports them. I bet on ETX, because it has not yet collected its value, of course both currencies will go up, but the ETX has more potential. For me both of them are important for me .. and we dont know if what coin this year will getting higher.
I prefer to invest into both if you have the ability and capital enough money. Why ? Because I think the price of Bitcoin will continue to grow and the price of Ethereum will also grow. Currently Bitcoin fee is very much therefore it is very important for us to look at other opportunities and take advantage of Ethereum while still able and there is still a chance. Ethereum has a great development and I'm sure Ethereum will follow Bitcoin's trail in the future. I wish I could collect Bitcoin and Ethereum as much as possible to bring in a lot of profit to change my future, boost my economy and keep my family.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 20, 2018, 09:30:50 AM
I think investing to waves of the eth half you have will be wiser. Considering that eth still has some smart constract that might keep its price stability or even make eth itself more than their current price. Waves also have great potential for midterm because so many new events from their developers for waves. I really like the waves for the midterm, but more suitable eth as longterm investment.
Ethereum is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform featuring smart contract functionality. Waves is an open-source blockchain platform, developed, marketed, and operated by Waves Platform AG, that allows users to launch their own custom cryptocurrency tokens. Both are doing a same thing, if me i will hold 50% Ethereum and 50% Waves.
Actually it depends on what kind of investment you want to do. If you just want a short-term investment, you have to capitalize on investing in Waves and Ethereum. But if you have enough capital, you should take advantage of it by waiting in a long time. To me, between Waves and Ethereum, I am more convinced of Ethereum because the development and creation of this cryptocurrency has existed from the beginning and existed earlier than Waves. Not that I do not see price developments from both, but I do prefer to do long-term investments with a lot of capital.
332  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best bitcoin mining site using laptop !? on: January 20, 2018, 09:27:03 AM
Is there any suggestions of bitcoin mining sites using my laptop?
It's going to be not worth it, but there are options available. Firstly, you're going to not make enough to pay your electricity bill increases as a result of your mining activities. Your laptop is going to be overheated and even may damage your laptop hardware. Based on the above, you shouldn't even bother. Just buy bitcoin instead if you want to get into cryptocurrencies. If you insist on continuing, i've heard that freebitco.in has a pretty nice laptop mining feature. You'll get paid in BTC but you're actually mining XMR with coinhive. Still it's not worth it, even though freebitco.in does not take anything from your payouts.
Yes, that's right. Precisely with the use of laptops, it will make us lose because our laptop will be very hot and damaged. If you want to be serious in mining business, you should set up a good computer and a VGA suitable for mining. Or if you want mining to use special hardware like SHA-256, you can set it up. But you must do research because the cryptocurrency you are looking for can have different hardware specifications. And as our friend has told this one, if you do not have enough capital yet, you can invest into cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum by buying and collecting and wait until the price goes up.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: January 19, 2018, 01:47:09 AM
If Ethereum can touch $5k by 2nd quarter of 2018 nothing will stop it not to reach $10k. Demand, FOMO awareness and everything will raise, which will greatly drive the price up. Fingers crossed. Ethereum has maintained a steady progress for the last a year or so. At present, it is getting most investor attention. As bitcoin price has dipped, many investors are moving to Ethereum. I believe it would be $10,000 to $15,000 at the end of 2019. I think the price of eth is related to the ico market performance, as we can see, if the ico market is hot, more investors will buy eth to join in the ico, in my opinion, it is a long term investment, and I have bought some.
I believe in crypto-currencies trading, it is much more harder to analyse and predict the price based on the graph and charts from the past few years, because the volatility in crypto-currencies is way too huge and whenever there is a negative news about it, the values could dips as much as over 50% in just one night.
I think Ethereum will indeed reach that number. But the problem is I do not know when it will happen. And I do not think anyone will know that until it happens. However, sooner or later, we will not be a problem. We should focus on collecting Ethereum as much as possible while we can. Currently many eyes Ethereum because this could be a solution and a second chance after Bitcoin. I'm sure that Ethereum will follow Bitcoin's footsteps and will bring in a lot of profit. Many people will be changed thanks to Ethereum. So we should prepare the seat belts and tighten all our equipment.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Apparently you can get rich even with scam coins. on: January 19, 2018, 01:43:43 AM
Yes, and what I'm thinking off is through fame. You have teenager rappers, or Justine Beiber types who are not too bright. Rappers that through heavy influence of culture think they are amazing because they tattooed their face, and have committed crimes for street cred. In their eyes they are the definition of success in life. And the reason for that is because a lot of young dumb people also believe it too. That to me is a rough example, but hopefully expresses my point. Edit: Apparently I'm in the wrong thread due to having this tab open.
That is true, but there are also things that are not quite right. Actually if you go trading sites, and if you see a new Altcoin coming up in the market, some of you might ignore it. People tend to want to trade into cryptocurrencies that are already well known and certain. That's because the new Altcoin will usually experience drastic price increases. But you should know that the new Altcoin is still fresh it can bring a lot of profit if you manage well. The problem is, we do not know if all Altcoin can bring profit all or some scam. For that it is very important for us to share our money and not just invest to one Altcoin only. Anyway, the choice is yours.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: People, why are you so scared? on: January 19, 2018, 01:41:02 AM
Most of the people who invested in these currencies know nothing about crypto currency technology or what it stands for. They are trying to make a quick buck and get a piece of bitcoin cake. So when sight becomes blur, they take everything and leave.
Why can anyone be afraid to invest into cryptocurrency? Actually it is natural and very normal for people to fear the investment of cryptocurrency. Why ? That's because the investment of cryptocurrency is uncertain or uncertain. If I were to choose between a cryptocurrency investment and an investment property, I would definitely choose an investment property. The investment of land, house, gold, and silver, is much more certain than cryptocurrency. I never heard that the price of the land could be reduced every year. I suppose it can only happen in the event of an economic crisis. However, cryptocurrency remains the second choice for the poor and the middle class. But people can be afraid because maybe they think cryptocurrency will fall and just disappear.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1200$ investment - What to buy ? on: January 19, 2018, 01:38:27 AM
First decide in what kind of technology you want to invest, there are some good infographics like this one https://news.blackmooncrypto.com/the-crypto-ecosystem-v2-aea76bde5457 that depicts the crypto ecosystem. In my own experience the most potential and growth is for new blockchain platforms and cryptocurrencies with new paradigma (like Monero or ZCash with it's privacy).  For blockchain platform there will be a new ArcBlock ICO 3-d of february, check my signature for details and read their whitepaper for sure.
Actually it depends on what kind of investment you want. If you want a long-term investment, then you can pick Bitcoin and Ethereum just because they're pretty good. If you want a short-term investment, you might have to analyze and do research on the latest Altcoin that appears in the market. Because usually the latest Altcoin that just appeared in the market, will experience a drastic increase in price in some time. You should choose Altcoin which is cheap, divide your money, because maybe not all can give profit. Do not put all your money for investment in one bag.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: January 18, 2018, 06:22:59 AM
Good Morning, everyone starts off with each different way in Bitcoin. If I start by reading everything Bitcoin, one of the sources I trust is of course this forum. Everything needs to start with passion, struggling, and much reading. I think those three things will be a good reference for getting started. Honestly my own just started since October, many things that really interest me, one of which is to make money in this forum by following bounty - bounties.
It was introduced to me by friend and colleagues but I actually started after learning a lot hands on from various topics in these forums which made the idea of trading and investing to bitcoin more clearer for me and so I decided to take my first step in bitcoin by buying and holding my first bitcoin.
Well, it is very interesting to hear and read stories and discussions like this. Honestly I'm always motivated if you hear a collection of stories like this from all of you, especially if anyone tells the story of their success story with Bitcoin. I knew Bitcoin the first time I was in High School. I was looking for a side job and an online job I could use to make money. It was because I was at school and my family was a simple family who could not afford to pay my school fees anymore.

My mother is only a single-parent whose salary is not much. So I feel sorry and want to help her. I finally found a good job, and after graduating school I decided to invest Bitcoin to change the future and my family's economy.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: January 18, 2018, 06:19:23 AM
I'm just holding into my Bitcoins and I have no plans in trading, however since demand will skyrocket this time, I might consider buying also some coins. I don't see this day or period as a bad day to all of us, instead I see this as a great day for investors to invest in Bitcoin. This is just another break for us to sell few coins for profit aside from those whales that sold a lot from last month and those panic sellers that can't wait. As the year goes, there will be more buyers due to its low price and after that expect its recovery.
Actually it depends on the type of trading you do. It also depends on the currency and cryptocurrency you make a tool for trading. If you do short-term trading with Bitcoin, then maybe you should rest for a while. But if you do long-term trading with Bitcoin, the current price of Bitcoin will not really matter to you because you can wait until the price goes up again. In fact, you can take advantage of this opportunity to buy and collect Bitcoin as much as possible so that later when the price is recovered, you can sell your Bitcoin and you can get a lot of profit. It also applies to Altcoin and certain cryptocurrencies.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: until when will the bounty program remain? on: January 18, 2018, 06:17:05 AM
No one can really predict the future of bounty campaigns. We can just assume by looking at the number of bounties who became successful or in short tokens who are listed at the exchange. In my opinion, bounty campaigns are going to be extinct after a few years since there are a lot of tokens at the market. I hope this will not happen. I will still support bounty campaigns no matter what happen. Its the least that I could do to help this forum as well.
Its hard to predict the future of bounty program. But if i will be the one to decide i want it to last forever. Because bounty program helps me alot. And i think it will help alot of people in the future. Especially those people who are unemployed.
Actually it depends on the person who organizes Bounty and Campaign. It also depends on the person who organizes ICO and the existing escrow. If they want to go further and have more funds, then they will continue. But if you ask about when Bounty's there and when Bounty in general or the whole will end, I guess I can not answer that. And I do not think anyone can answer that. Actually, Bounty and Campaign is badly needed because it works to promote an ICO and online business that is running. And in the future, some think it will be more and more needed.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 06:14:33 AM
Maybe because of the lower value of bitcoin. More and more people are buying because of low value. But it is not so hard cause if you have enough money you can buy your bitcoin anywhere.
The fact is the market value of bitcoin even after falling up to this much value is very much high and it is not at all possible for most of us to afford buying of bitcoin even most of the people do really want to invest in bitcoin but couldn’t manage to do so just because of lack of resources. This present time is the prime to invest and buy some bitcoins as the market value of bitcoin is quite low.
Maybe you should first learn basic information about Bitcoin. Bitcoin prices are very expensive and continue to increase. Especially now, the price of Bitcoin is much more expensive now than it was a few years ago. Second, not everyone wants to sell their Bitcoin, some people would prefer to save and invest their Bitcoin for sale in the future. That's because we can get profit if the price goes up. Third, actually buy Bitcoin is not difficult. You just have to find the right exchanger to do that. Not a trading site I mean, but a stand-alone individual exchanger. As in my country, such exchangers are numerous. But we have to find a reliable one.
