321  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: بيتكوين ETF on: January 09, 2024, 10:05:08 PM

322  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyway to be smart about this? on: January 09, 2024, 08:57:41 PM
What can someone do if a crypto wallet is compromised but the wallet owner is staking on such wallet still? The APY is coming in but we both curious how possible it can be to get the staked token after the period of staking is over, without ending with the hacker or whatever is fit for the drainer to be called.

I was hoping that you could give us a brief overview of what your friend did to have his wallet compromised. Were the seed phrases or the private key for his wallet revealed to someone, or did he download malicious files through which the hacker gained access to his device and stole the security information for his wallet? If one of the scammers has access to his wallet, it's likely he deployed a malicious script, known as the sweeper bot which drains all assets in the victim's wallet, including those recently deposited, automatically transferring them to the scammer's wallet.

What I see is that the scammer will obtain the APY from the staking that your friend did for one of his tokens. I believe that if you and your friend have sufficient knowledge and have conducted enough research to use Flashbots successfully. It's possible that you can get the staked APY funds successfully. Check out this [Link], intensify your research, and good luck to you. If this does not work, the solution is to completely forget this APY and your friend’s wallet and have him use a new wallet as there are no other solutions.
323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie, be careful of the Bitcoin information you process on: January 09, 2024, 01:52:15 AM
Many reliable sources in this field include books, courses, articles, and video clips. For example, Bitcointalk can be relied upon as one of the important sources for Bitcoin enthusiasts. Through the discussions and guide topics published here, any beginner can educate himself with a wealth of information related to Bitcoin. Still, he should not rely on only one source or topic to receive information without doing the necessary research, which only takes a few minutes, and also verifying the accuracy of the information related to Bitcoin from other sources and references, the information that the person obtains could be wrong information, incorrect opinions, or reflect a flawed understanding....etc. Yes, as the OP mentioned, before jumping to any conclusions on any of the various topics, whether it is about Bitcoin, altcoins, or in any of the other sections of the forum, the newbies must equip themselves with ample knowledge and educate themselves sufficiently.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: “X” users are struggling as Crypto Scams in Ads,officials have no clear respons on: January 08, 2024, 10:45:22 PM
It is assumed that everyone has gained knowledge now that the X platform or any of the popular social media platforms without censorship and anyone cannot place his absolute trust in the ads that are promoted by scammers whether these ads are for phishing sites, Telegram groups, Discord channels, or any links to purchase a currency for a project on DEX, Or download any applications or programs directly through these advertisements. As soon as anyone makes hasty decisions and does not do sufficient research, he will, at a very large percentage, fall into fraud and lose his assets, or he will lose his privacy or his computer will be hacked and his important information stolen, It is worth noting that even advertisements in search engines such as Google or in mobile applications cannot be blindly trusted, as many incidents have spread of people being subjected to fraud through them. Therefore, everyone should exercise caution and refrain from trusting every advertisement they come across.
325  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Gokoins.com (multiple red flags)!!! on: January 08, 2024, 06:36:06 PM
What this member did is done by many scammers who contact you on one of the popular communication applications they tell you that they have a huge amount of money stuck, and then they either send you a link to a new scam exchange platform or request a no collateral loan to withdraw their money, as happened in this case. Or by sending you the details of the login information for his account on the scam exchange platform so that you can log in and then make a deposit, or by sending you the seed phrases or private key for one of the wallets that contain several top assets and a malicious contract, and in both cases, the scammer will steal this money that someone deposited or gave him in advance, and maybe he does not have 41.90 BTC, and what largely indicates that he is the owner of the domain is that his account was created 5 days ago. Also, the topic that he created on the Lending board was his first post on the forum.

Thank you @SFR10 for creating this warning topic. I will now support the flag.
326  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: got scammed by Desmondcz on: January 08, 2024, 01:21:04 AM
I don't even have an explanation .. I do but it's a stupid one
everyone that was selling cloud service was offline and I was searching forum to test something something asap

I got scammed in the past but at least it was creative

I was just in a rush and 100% just plain dumb

ohh whatever, it's only $22
I'm sorry for your loss, even though it's a small amount. This scammer has no right to steal anyone even if it's just one dollar through his fake services. It's worth mentioning that you're not the only one who got scammed, there are many members also; this deceiver creates topics for his services with the same content as the prices of the offers change to remain attractive at lower prices. After he scammed someone, he either changed the content of the topic to some letters or closed it. [Archieved]

Do not trust Newbie members, closed topics, or self-moderated topics. Rely on yourself in creating these accounts and buying what you need from official and trusted platforms.

JeromeTash has created this [Flag] about this scammer's account, and I will support it now. I believe that dealing with @Desmondcz again will result in losing the money.
327  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: تم تهكير محفظتي الإلكتريوم on: January 08, 2024, 12:41:41 AM

XMR - ZEC - ZEN - ANT - Firo - KP3R - MDX - MOB - REEF - VAI

Angry
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: January 04, 2024, 10:54:18 PM
It seems that they will weekly launch a pool for new projects and it will be bullish for bnb and at the same time with the projects being listed. Anyone farming here? Hows your income so far?
To be honest, I haven't engaged in farming these tokens, but I've been following videos of investors who participated in them. All the mentioned tokens have completed their launchpools and are already listed on Binance, except for Xai Games, which is a newly listed project on the Binance Launchpool today. From what I've seen, Ace, the currency for the Fusionist project, is the token that achieved the highest profits for the Launchpool participants who made a stake in BNB, FDUSD, and TUSD. Its price surged to over $17 immediately after being listed on Binance, compared to the prices of other tokens you mentioned. I believe that people holding large quantities of BNB and substantial funds, like the whales, were the ones able to achieve significant incomes. I don't prefer launchpools because I find them useless and don't favor using CEX.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One more filed smear campaign against Bitcoin on: January 04, 2024, 09:59:00 PM
The misleading media, malicious influencers, whales, and others whose wallets were not sufficiently filled with Bitcoin at the time of its price decline are the ones who spread these false expectations, rumors, and smear campaigns to drive investors out of the market, prompting them to sell in panic, lowering the price of Bitcoin so that they can enter during these times to buy Bitcoin at an attractive price. While the approval of Bitcoin Spot ETF may be an important event in the cryptocurrency industry, boosting investor sentiment and allowing a positive impact to dominate Bitcoin's price, if things don't go as we expect and what businessmen and major investors expect in terms of approval, this does not mean the end of Bitcoin or its future stopping there.. There's the halving event and many other factors, reasons, and events that will make Bitcoin more rare and more valuable than ever before. Just don't succumb to FUD.
332  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Metamask Airdrop is spreading in the twitter(X). Be aware. on: January 04, 2024, 08:44:30 PM
It's worth noting that this account does not represent 1% of the thousands of accounts that promote fake airdrops and attach phishing links explicitly created to lure airdrop hunters and steal their wallets. Everyone is responsible for reporting the publisher's account upon seeing any scam tweets. With numerous reports, the account is immediately suspended, causing the scammer to lose the funds spent on the paid X subscription or advertising expenses.

I want to point out that no one should believe everything they see without conducting sufficient research and verifying the accuracy of the information through official X accounts, whether for Metamask or any other project or wallet. Also, avoid making hasty decisions and interacting with these tweets and the links they tweet.
333  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN][bptrades] Escrow Services for Secure Trading - Buy & Sell Safely - 0 Fees on: January 03, 2024, 11:50:11 PM
A new experience in my life today is to sell tokens through escrow service.I have never been able to sell tokens in such a secure way anywhere before. They provide their escrow service at no fee to everyone. [...]
Thank you for your positive feedback, and we hope that you will recommend our service to more members. We hope as much as possible to leave a good mark to protect members from theft. I will provide details of the transaction that occurred today.

  • Transaction number #71 was successfully completed through our Bptrades escrow service on Telegram, where the buyer @mdrakib325893900 received 2,207.12 of ETNY Tokens, and you, as a seller @AirtelBuzz1 received $53 USDT in your Binance account.
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: 112 days waiting for bitcoin halving!! on: January 03, 2024, 11:40:24 PM
The countdown began, and indeed, a lot of time had passed. We suffered a lot during bearish market times, but it was an excellent opportunity for accumulation. It is encouraging that it remains in front of us until next April. It is worth noting that the price of Bitcoin started positively at the beginning of the new year. It is highly expected that significant events affecting Bitcoin's price and the cryptocurrency market, such as the approval of ETFs and the Bitcoin halving event, we will witness a bullish market in 2024 and even the following year; I hope that no unexpected events occur that affect market sentiment and disappoint our hopes. However, we remain steadfast in our belief in BTC, Controlling our emotions, and committed to increasing our hodlings in this promising investment that will be discussed at all times and everywhere.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want to make USDT transaction, check transaction fee across chains on: January 03, 2024, 10:41:19 PM
Truly, it is a helpful website with a simple interface. I will bookmark it in my browser. It's good that it gathers the fees of the top four networks in one place, making it easier for people who may not have enough time to check the fees of each network individually when sending transactions related to the USDT currency. This way, they can choose the least congested network and verify the fees of each network to select the appropriate one to complete the transaction.

Thank you, OP, for your efforts.  Smiley
336  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Vanillagifts - gaia market on: January 03, 2024, 09:13:56 PM
Thank you for sharing this topic here to warn the community about this scam gift card market platform.

The following quote is from last one of the victims who had $350 stolen from him by making an order through the Vanillagifts scam website:

Hello, to all people, do not buy anything from this seller, he is a big fraud and actor, all the feedback's on his websites are fake, few days ago i paid $350 usd for £1000 apple card united kingdom, first he sent me 13 digit invalid code (apple codes are 16 digit) then he says he will send me the replacement, as he is waiting from his boss to send the replacement and today he said the replacement has been sent please check your email, and then he blocked me on telegram, i haven't received any replacement he is a big scammer,

The scammer's account here on the forum has been tagged by sandy-is-fine, and he has posted evidence [#] pointing to suspicious matters in terms of fake comments being published in the Vanillagifts ANN thread by apparently hacked accounts that have suddenly woken up to post misleading comments. Also, the purchase prices of the cards compared to their value do not appear to make any sense at all. In addition to the reviews/ratings on the Vanillagifts platform, all of them are manipulated and not from genuine customers. Also, on this platform's telegram channel, fake accounts were used to increase interaction on the posts published by the owner of this scam website so as to appear legit and not a scam.

I will tag his account now, and I hope no other victims fall victim to this scam.
338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some tips to help protect yourself from crypto scam on: January 02, 2024, 11:15:51 PM
Scammers are getting more fortification everyday, just stay safe,
(2) Avoid suspicious links: Be cautious when clicking on links, especially if they seems too good to be true or from an unknown sources.
These are truly important points, and I hope beginners pay significant attention to them. Regarding point number (2), I can add that no beginner should connect his wallet or sign transactions through any suspicious links. He should avoid using his primary wallet if he is an airdrop hunter. He can use some browser security extensions that enhance security, perform phishing website detection, and analyze smart contracts, such as Wallet Guard, AegisWeb3, and Pocket Universe, in addition to MetaMask wallet, which often blocks phishing sites. However, it's also crucial to download these extensions from their official websites without installing any fake extensions or wallets.

(6) Don't rush: Take time to make informed decisions, and don't let anyone to pressurize you into acting quickly.
We can combine point number (1) with this last point. Instead of rushing and making decisions or activities that we might regret, we should take enough time to do our research and review all the project details in which we will invest our money or participate in one of the launched giveaways/Airdrops. We must ensure that we are dealing with the official domain, not a phishing domain. Also, we should verify the information included in the project, such as the whitepaper and all the fine details, and then make the appropriate decision.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it a legit airdrop or not? on: January 02, 2024, 10:19:50 PM
In blast, users gained significant profits, and I believe y24 might also offer good returns. I'd appreciate suggestions from experts.

https://y24.io/airdrop check our and let me know
Are all other projects legitimate, such as the Blast project, which I have never heard of before? I do not know frankly how the participants obtained their airdrop, but what I truly believe is that the new projects or exchange platforms that require fees that you deposit in order to receive an airdrop or to be able to withdraw your money are mostly scams. There is no guarantee that if you deposit 0.1 of BNB on this new domain of the Y24 platform, you will receive an Airdrop.

Everyone is accustomed to the fact that participation in Airdrop is free, so why do they ask to deposit money in the beginning? What is the benefit of depositing this money? Suppose the project has a Layer 2 blockchain network and Ecosystem. In that case, it is possible to participate using some fees in this network, and participants can eventually get an airdrop for their interactions in the project. Still, the matter is different with Y24, which does not have communities and seems a suspicious platform with an unreasonable APY.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Last hack of the year 2023 on: January 02, 2024, 09:38:48 PM
In crypto history every year is filled with lots of hacks and scams and 2023 is no exception as far as I know this is the last hack of the year 2023. And my question is will there be a year with no such hacks?
This is unfortunate news as Orbit Chain was the last scam to conclude in 2023, and the stolen funds were not small; the ORC currency also experienced a rapid decline of over 5% immediately following this incident.

It is worth noting that there are new updates on the official Orbit platform's account  [1], suggesting that their team identified a significant clue lead in tracking the stolen funds just hours ago. Their team and developers seem to be attempting to address this matter, and we hope they succeed. However, this underscores the importance for everyone to enhance the security of their wallets and revoke any platforms to which the wallet is linked, and not to place massive capital on one wallet and the primary wallet that carries the capital must not have relied upon to sign transactions and interact with the DApp because scammers are everywhere. No platform is 100% secure. Perhaps if the platforms’ security and development team intensifies their efforts, increases security, and addresses loopholes, the scam rate will reduce in 2024, but in my opinion, it will not end.
