321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BountyHunting and Airdrops? on: October 12, 2018, 06:18:19 PM
So i heard a lot about these terms but confused exactly what these mean.  So basically if you own any btc or any altcoin, you could participate in these?  So basically it requires very little money or does it require no money at all for something like this.  I read about how ppl do certain things like post links on facebook and social media etc and then they get rewarded or something like that?  So basically you could do this for income or side income?

I also heard how when people receive an airdrop or another term, they immediately sell it for btc.  Can someone explain this process as basic as possible?

So if someone has free time or doing nothing, they could make money while on the computer with this?  But how much money could one even expect to make if say they could do this 20 hours a week vs say 40 hours a week?  The other thing i heard is if you do this, you could get scammed?  How exactly you get scammed?  They send you airdrop but its to your wallet and then your wallet get hacked?

When in looked through your profile, i discovered that you have not been involved in any form of bounty or airdrop since you came into this forum

For better understanding of your questions, i would advise you go to Beginners and help section of the forum, where you will find full answer to your question.

No one might want to give you proper answer here by just asking, except you find threads that have already been written before now.

I believe this will be useful. I had to help you search for it on the forum, so you could have proper answer to your question.

322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your strategy for hodling or selling? on: October 10, 2018, 10:53:21 PM
The best set of people that gain and find it hard to loose are those who are not greedy to look around for huge pump before selling
My strategy is quite simple. I buy my coins or tokens in bulk, then look for 5 - 10% pump and sell. After which i move on to another coin that  has dump.

For instance, if i should buy a token at $1000, my target profit will be between 50-100$, which i am okay with.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's educational function on: October 10, 2018, 10:47:30 PM
You have an interesting topic, but your writeup looks bogus and does not look so interesting to read. You need to review it, make it simpler and be precise. Make your point and you will see that more people will respond to it.

Part of the usefulness if being in this space is also to be able to be able to communicate effective.
While searching through this forum alone, I have been able to learn a lot if things.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: October 10, 2018, 10:03:57 PM
Since you do not know how to make selection of good coins by yourself, i would advise you just go to the coinmarkepcap and choose from the top 10 coins, which i believe will be easier. Then if you want to buy some of these coins, check the lowest so far and the highest and make your inferences fro that, on the price you feel you are comfortable with. When you are satisfied, you can then buy.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Rewarding signature campaign, are you satisfied? on: October 10, 2018, 09:22:46 PM
In every business, rule is very important. Before you joined the campaign, you saw the rules and they are clearly stated. It is now left to you if you can abide to the rules. If you are not comfortable with it and you know you cannot follow it duly, then there is no need to join. If the manager decides not to give you any stake, he is right.
Had it been he allows you to bridge the rule by posting less, then others too will do the same and that might lead to a faulty campaign.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buterin is preparing to leave Ethereum. on: October 08, 2018, 08:38:42 PM
He is entitled to his decision. If he likes he, should live. Although he was instrumental to the creation of ethereum, but the stage at which ethereum is now is not by virtue of his stay or presence still in the community.
Buterin is still trying all means to remian relkevant in the system. His name can continually be mentioned as the creator, but he does not have control over this currency again.
There is a saying by my people;
Soldier go, soldier come, barracks remain.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / You can start with NOTHING and still come out with SOMETHING on: October 08, 2018, 05:11:17 PM
It is rare and hard to find any genuine online venture (although there may be others), where you can start with nothing and still come out with something.
Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a great blessing to humanity. It has really benefitted and will continue to benefit man in so many ways.

Only for those who have discovered the opportunity through the knowledge they have been able to acquire.

The crypto world has so much make it good that, if you do not have anything to invest now, you can still have in future, by engaging yourself in programmes such as bounty and airdrop.
There is nothing bad in engaging yourself in activities that will earn you some free cryptocurrencies, inasmuch as you are not cheating on others.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversities in Cryptocurrency. on: October 06, 2018, 08:58:21 PM
The first information we receive about anything is very essential. If the reject or dislike crypto, it means they do not have much knowledge about it. Had it been they have know anything about it, no matter how little it is, they will support it more.
A man that knows something, you surely think differently from one who knows nothing.
We think differently, so there will be diverse opinions.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should SWAP of altcoins be done for every one of them? on: October 06, 2018, 08:48:24 PM
If that should happen, the stress of going yo exchange to swap will be reduced. Direct swap i believe will be preferable by almost everyone, but whatever has advantage, will sure have its disadvantage. Direct swap would even help to save a lot of gas fees and the stress would be minimized. This will also reduce the rate at which we get exposed to scams on some exchanges.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Excited Are You for Crypto? on: October 06, 2018, 08:36:23 PM
This is definitely one of the best opportunities i have ever found. It's been so interesting being in this space. Ever since i joined,i have learnt a lot. Not only in making money, but to also handle some issues, most especially sensitive ones in life.
Cryptocurrency has also helped me to overcome my emotions. I have friends who i also brought in. Some of them are making it big, while some are still crawling in it.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEPTEMBER. on: October 05, 2018, 06:45:35 PM
That we are in ember months does not mean that you are going to have huge profit in your investment. Even if care is not taken, you might end up not making any profit. Instead, it might be loss.
Which is why you need to see it like other months and not to attach any significance to it.
Although, you can still invest and make your profit. We might likely have a boom this year, but who knows the time.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 05, 2018, 06:37:27 PM
Participating in airdrops most times is time wasting. I cannot now imagine if KYC is now being needed to be qualified to get the tokens that would worth just meagre amount.
We truly need to be back to those days, like in 2017, when airdrops used to very much profitable. During these time, developers were not asking for KYC.
So, why the need for KYC despite what is now being given?
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / When are we going to see an era like 2017 again? on: October 05, 2018, 06:34:07 PM
Virtually everyone is expecting another boom in the crypto space. We hope for another bullish market. The question we kept on asking ourselves is "When is bull run going to start?"

- 2018 does not really support the boom for most ICOs, unlike what we had in 2017.
- In 2017 airdrops were very profitable, unlike what we have in 2018, where most airdrops just seem useless.
... and the comparison continues ...

Despite all these, i can confidently say that, notwithstanding the bearish market, 2018 has been a very good year for both Traders and Investors alike.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget the past and move ahead on: October 05, 2018, 06:19:40 PM
I have learnt not to brood of past mistakes. Instead, whenever i make any mistake, i pick my lesson from it and move on. There are some parts of cryptocurrency that are so complex and there are times that mistakes are inevitable. So, whatever you want to do, always have it at the back of your mind that you might make mistake. Whereas, having this consciousness might help you to minimize committing errors.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Late to Invest in Cryptocurrencies? on: October 05, 2018, 06:13:37 PM
This is still the very beginning of exploration of cryptocurrency, because we are yet to experience it to the fullest.
Talking of whether one can still invest, i believe this is still a good time and that it is not yet late.
You would need to ensure you are making the right choice of investment, because some coins might make you loose if care is not taken.
Invest into coins with working products.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge for Newbie on: October 05, 2018, 06:06:21 PM
Yes, you need to learn, but you do not need too much of knowledge before you can kick start. Practice makes perfect, so in the process of of trading, you can begin to learn some other things. As a matter of fact practice makes it easier to learn and it helps you not to forget easily, but if you are just learning or reading without putting what you have learnt at the same time into practice, it will look more like you are just being theoretical.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feel like quitting on: September 30, 2018, 10:07:08 PM
It is good to see that you have been able to get the merit you longed for. Despite this, it is not yet time to relax. The spirit now is to keep working until you are able to achieve your goals. You can try some good investments out. Aside investing into bitcoin, you can also invest into altcoins, such as ethereum, stellar, nem and others you might intend to research on. I will urge you not to quit.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: September 30, 2018, 10:00:35 PM
I have a personal principle that i believe should also work for most people, which is that "whatever you know best to do, do it well". If you believe and you are sure that bounty is what you know best to do, do it well and put your best into it. On the other hand, if trading is your choice, learn it, and do your best in it. There are also other aspects you can venture into, you just try your best possible.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH break its highest record again on: September 30, 2018, 09:52:06 PM
Virtually everyone knows that ethereum has good potential to go beyond its former ATH, but one thing that is of more concern now is the time. That notwithstanding, i believe the rise is imminent. It is very much likely for it to happen this year, without much delay. Presently, the growth of ethereum seems to be consistent, with little corrections happening at some points.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your trading plan? on: September 30, 2018, 09:42:21 PM
One of the best strategies to play safe while trading, considering all forms of trading, you must have a projected profit you would like to make. The projected profit will serve as guide and for you to know when to take your profit. Do not also forget to set stop loss, most especially for exchanges that have such function. Whatever coin you are trading, do ensure you have studied it critically well.
