321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: May 12, 2018, 09:01:05 AM
I prefer Ripple (XRP), the are making alot of move toward payment industry. Also, they are doing their best to make ripple a full decentralize. There are alot of FUD but to be fair enough every negative concept they throw to XRP has a meaningful explanation from the team. They will explain it nicely and only based on a fact.

Cardano (ADA) has a great potential. They are backed with a scientist team and they are solving alot of problems. ADA has a great potential to moon in the near future. Buy ADA while it is below 50 cents dollar. They will release amazing news on the next month so stay still and accumulate as much as you can.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is bountyhive safe for doing bounties ? on: May 11, 2018, 08:49:30 AM
Yeah, bountyhive is absolutely safe but sad to say they just give small part of token. They are also very strict  on their rules so better pay attention with every bounty campaign you are joining. For facebook make sure to use a human profile picture because they cannot revert their action when they see that you are using troll account.
With twitter you must have not more than 1 month twitter audit.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qualities of Good ICO and How to spot scammer ICO on: May 07, 2018, 04:15:44 AM
One quality of a good project is the rules is very precise and the implementation is very strict since they push everyone to do their best in order for the project to be successful, most of them are looking for  people who will help them advertise the project and not people who will give them money to starts their project. gets?

I agree with you, if they are really serious about the business they will do everything just to meet what they promise and be on time with regards to their roadmap. That would be a big points for them from the investors and future partners. Good track record will result to investors trust rating.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qualities of Good ICO and How to spot scammer ICO on: May 07, 2018, 04:13:16 AM
First of all I look at the information about the company if it's not enough then it bothers well and of course I watch the product that is offered. there are companies where the information is blurred

I would suggest that you would look into the company whitepaper then if you are okay with it I prefer to look into the team members as to support their whitepaper. Also, you can assess also if their tokens are escrowed.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qualities of Good ICO and How to spot scammer ICO on: May 06, 2018, 12:32:56 PM
i will add information for you, you can consider how many communities.
we know, if more communities mean the project full of support. (OFC i mean communities which support not hate the project)

Yes you are right but sometimes when they have bounty campaign and airdrop, their community number will not that reliable because for sure bulk of the community will be bounty hunters and people who join their airdrop. Maybe we need also to look into the conversations happening inside the group and decide from it.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qualities of Good ICO and How to spot scammer ICO on: May 06, 2018, 12:02:51 PM
I do agree th team is the most important thing here, because they are the ones to run away with the fund if they wish to, it is possible to have sound ideas and well written whitepaper but as long as there is question marks about the project, I will stay way from  it

Absolutely right, I like your ideas that If you have any doubt with them better not to invest or say sorry to the end. The team really has the greatest impact about the success of their business so I agree that we need to check them thoroughly before putting our money with them.

Dear Community,

The Purpose of this thread is to share experiences and knowledge about ICO's. As a beginner we would kindly ask the upper ranks or the experienced people to impart their opinions on how to spot an ICO which has a great chance to become successful in the future. We are not just talking about the price movement but also with the innovations that they present us to be use in the near future. On the other side, we would like also to know some of your ideas on how to identify ICO which has a potential to scam investors and all the bounty hunters out there.

Please respect this thread, NO bad mouthing. I still believe that we can communicate to others in a nice way which would conclude to a happy and informative community.  PEACE OUT!

PS: A special thanks to the creator and admins of this forum. It help us a lot.

I personally think team's are the most important, and not necessarily their track record. Although its helpfull if they have launched succesfull businesses before, I find that some of these people can be rather arrogant as they also don't view crypto very seriously and its more a cash grab to them and they sell their shit-idea wrapped in fancy credentials. Scam ICO's often have fake teammembers, its good to actually reach out to the people that are listed and ask about their involvement with the project, I could have saved myself some money had I done that. They also have bad grammar on their website and whitepaper, poorly articulated idea's and business models. Also even if it does seem reputable you should be carefull, just because a ''legit business'' launches an ICO doesn't mean they have the investors best interest at heart, often insider deals are made with personal friends/family and colleagues that get a far better deal than you and only care to flip their stack ASAP on an exchange leaving you bagholding.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you. One of my expensive experience last year is to easily invest in ICO without doing a background check. I invested almost 0.5btc  to this cryptomus and until now no update from the CEO and also to his team. I pity them for taking advantage from us beginners.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qualities of Good ICO and How to spot scammer ICO on: May 06, 2018, 11:25:54 AM
Some of the points which I consider in assessing ICO are the following:

1. Whitepaper is well detailed and organized (grammars are correct)
2. Team must have a well known track record in accordance to the nature of their business
3. They are responding to every queries of the community and investors
4. Escrowed tokens are a big plus
5. They have beta products which they can present to the investor before their ICO
6. Road map should be well detailed and achieve it before the deadline.

331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips and Tricks as Bounty Hunters on: May 03, 2018, 05:57:54 AM
Though I am just new as a bounty hunter, for now I am relying from a veteran friend who has been in signature bounty campaign for 2 years. He had assisted me in what is the best campaign should I start to join where I am enrolled currently. The rest were just purely self study and do more research about cryptocurrency. About doing some postings, I had to make sure that it will be constructive and easily be understood by anybody in this forum. For now, I am not yet familiar in choosing the best bounty manager and hopefully I will include that on my list for my consideration.

Good that you have a friend who is veteran on bounty hunting. Unfortunately I am learning on my own and sometimes I learn from some of the legendary here in the forum. I will absorb as much information I can from them but at the end of the day I am still the one to decide. I just treat them as guidance to me in this bounty hunting.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips and Tricks as Bounty Hunters on: May 03, 2018, 05:51:05 AM
Its alright that you have your preferred bounty manager who is reliable, but  fact that managers can do nothing about the campaign if the ICO is a failure or a scam, that doesn't really matter who your manager is. But at least, you can assure the manager won't scam you.

I got your point my friend, Choosing a good bounty manager is 1 way to have a successful bounty campaign. Its like one guideline to find the best Bounty Campaign. I do believe also that the team behind the company has the biggest influence about the success of the campaign.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips and Tricks as Bounty Hunters on: May 03, 2018, 05:47:50 AM
4. Quality post and  comment has a greater chance of obtaining merits
People should be trying to make good posts here anyway, regardless of whether they're in a bounty campaign or not.  If you write utter nonsense, you risk getting reported to mods and banned.  Thus, aside from the potential of earning merits it's in everyone's best interest to write well.  And what's the big problems?  Members not being able to write properly in english, which is obvious to anyone who has taken a peek in the bitcoin disc. area.  The number two problem is plagiarism, which is also rampant.

This is a good list, but it's disheartening to me that lists like this are necessary.  I'll certainly second the recommendation that bounty hunters follow the rules, both of the forum in general and of the bounties they participate in.  There's no quicker way to get banned than not doing so.

In relation to banning, Is there any chance that we can revoke the ban that was made? At least a place where they can appeal to explain their side because I do believe that they deserve an explanation on whether they are banned.

By te way thank you for your insights. Big help for the most of us.

Can you kindly suggest some trusted bounty managers whom we can follow and subscribe on their bounty campaign? As of now I tried Sylon and he or she is excellent bounty manager.

Sylon is good no doubt. You can also join Amazix and bountyhive. Amazix provides great support for bounty hunters and they also have separate bounty support group for every ICO. bountyhive is also good to join.

that's true, sylon has a good reputation and well-known as the best one, may I just ask, why did sylon has no trust, even if he was good at being manager?

I tried to click on Sylon's trust. You can read every comment he made there. The persons and the comments he gave (positive and negative comments). It seems like he has positive and negative trust rating so he is in the neutral state. What matter is that almost all of his campaigns are successful.

the thing that is very helpful. I think that has a rank newbie should read this because it is very important. many of those new to create an account and post a few times directly asking how do I follow the signature campaign. It's pretty funny if I notice.

I was like them before lol then I decided to learn deeper and it is changing my perception and life. Thanks to you guys who has unending lending help to us. To be honest I was attracted to the amount given at first for the signature campaign but I just found out that its not that easy to rank up my position here in bitcointalk.

Yes bountyhive is so much easier because you just need to click and click and no need for reporting but as for my experience they give small amount of tokens compared here in bitcointalk.  Sylon is one of the great, Amazix I will try his bounty project soon.

Creativity is also a major factor, The more creative you are in promoting the campaign, the faster it captures attention, piques interest, compels followers. Also, believe in what you are promoting, because conviction is a natural seller.

Definitely true on what you have said. Creativity is very needful in doing social media campaign most specially youtube channels, articles, and many more. I like what you have said "conviction is a natural seller" it strikes my mind. Thanks for this. I will be updating my post to add your inputs.

You should choose projects with good manager at least a member, if you want not to get scammed! When you receive your coin, do not get it dumped on the exchange straight away for nothing, hold it! Follow telegram community, see what people/admins have to say, ask them questions for updates and what you have in concern, do some researches and read their white paper! If you like the project that you have been rewarded from and believe in it, the reward is going to be very big for holding it the coin and just be patient. As a bounty hunter you have to be very patient and wait a lot for good profits to come to you

Agree with what you've said. Based on my experience once the token will be listed first time most of the bounty hunters will dump it so as what you have said much better if we hold first the token and wait for the company to be fully functional or when your target price is met.

It's true that we must be smart in choosing the bounty manager. Commonly, the experienced bounty manager with a good track record will always analyze the ICO for the bounty program, It will help us to minimize the risk of a scam. Additionally, what makes one coin to be dumb is that they sell out the token reward just after the distribution. It makes the other bounty hunters, investors, and also developer feel crazy of the dropped price after that. So, it is better not to follow the hype for panic selling, do the deeper analysis. For the price, the best thing to do is analyzing the market on the exchange (some exchanges) and analyzing the token supply. Of course, we also talk about the token sold, token allocated for the bounty hunters and team. It will also influence the probability of the price on the market.
I agree with what you say completely. Experience is a huge factor when it comes to choosing the right bounty manager. I have never lost any funds because I always tend to choose experienced bounty managers with great track records. Sylon is easily my favorite bounty campaign manager when it comes to bounty campaigns in this forum thanks to his experience and I have earned big profits through him. Apart from this, research the whitepaper thoroughly in order to get an idea of how serious the team is regarding their project. These 2 tricks will help in differentiating between legit and scam campaigns.

Yeah I definitely 100% agree with you about sylon. He is one of the best bounty manager out here and I am pretty sure that he assess first the company and team before he will accept the project which give us more confidence to enter that bounty project. Also, it is true that reading the whitelist is very important and may I add something more. I think it would help also to check the quality of their website together the credibility of the team. To view their social media page and the personal accounts of the team member most specially the CEO. Thanks for your opinions it makes this thread more informative.
