Dev, how do you intend to compensate those people that were prepared for your launch and are now being unduly penalized because of your incompetence? Compensate for what?

So what, make sure to reward the people that aren't savvy enough to set up a the most basic linux instance with nothing more than a compiled wallet? That information is EASILY found online. Maybe people should take 2 minutes to do a little research instead of hoping everything will be spoon fed to them. Keep mining! New development team has taken over and will be posting details soon!

I won't even point out the fallacy that if you have more people mining a currency, the difficulty is higher, each person gets less of those coins and so those coins are worth more.Right now you are just centralizing the coins in the hands of a select few, which means each person got more coins for less work, which means they are worth less to that person, which means they will dump more of them for less.But I wouldn't point that out, because that would make you look and feel stupid. Launch seemed fine to me...
The wallet was provided approximately when the dev said it would be and compiled fine. Granted, there were some connection issues for a little while, but it's not like that helped any one person take advantage of everyone else. We were all dealing with it.
I threw some instances at it, and I'm only sitting on 400 SHC right now. No need for a relaunch, just keep mining. This thing is 5 hours old...

wow thats gotta be some sort of record for tanking price. The IPO has caused a lot of damage to the brand. Even NXT didn't manage this much scam.
It looks like the price is reverting to MSC base price and away from BTC price.
It's more likely the early panic sellers unloading out of fear. The same people that were hoping to make 50-100% immediately after launch and forget about the project. Those days are likely over, or soon to be. For me this is a longer-term investment. That being the case, it's a good time reduce cost basis through dollar-cost-averaging by picking up some extra shares on the cheap. |

This was my sentiment exactly. Glad to see some rational thought going on in here. There will be nothing like MasterCoin again, I remember when it was the exodus address time, I placed there 1 BTC, it was worth $100 at the time... MasterCoin was only officially release 2 months later, they manipulated the price in such way that in the IPO this $100 were worth.... $20,000 BAM, biggest profit ever in % that I had in my life. Sold $10,000 immidiatly, the rest I left there... Now they are worth nothing. Anyway from $100 to $10K effective profit in 2 months was a hell of an investment... bought a complete new furniture to my house with a hell of a 50" TV  Nobody cares. Go troll somewhere else. First you berate the developers claiming they shut down the exodus address early (I did not verify this, nor do I care to), but then you go on to tell us all how you "got in yesterday, so you don't care." And then you continue your charade by laughing about 1 or 2 trades that executed under initial IPO price. Walking contradiction. You're doing everyone a disservice here, but mostly yourself. and you need to know that there will be miners which will dumping this coin without any profit, spending more for electricity than earning on mining.
Let's see how the mining will be done, i think will be fair. some facts: total value of ipo about 350/400 btc, : 100.000.000exo = 1exo = 0.000004/0.0000035 BTC right now, i highly doubt that will be dumped to a lower price at least. mining: 50.000.000 x 6 months (180 days) 1 block every 10 min = 1929 exo x block = 277776 a day spreaded over N miners.... Your math is a bit off, though the result is close. 100M total, but only 42M From the IPO. (23.5% stage 1 and 18.5% stage 2). I don't know what's in escrow, but it's about 150btc from direct investment. Probably another 50ish from escrow. Roughly 476 satoshi / 1 EXO based on these figures. |

I really don't think it's a bad idea... Also, it's a little coincidental that your account was registered about the same time as dinEDG and you've been promoting the coin from the beginning. Between that and your swift responses to get everyone to just "forget about it because all the money is gone" is getting suspicious. EDIT: And all these newbie accounts popping up telling us how impossible it would be to track down the developers just looks like damage control to me. The exo community wouldn't be disappointed if you delay the launch by couple of weeks. Just make sure it is not a flop. Please don't fail on marketing.

I'm in for the beta, and have to echo what others have said about a "bonus round." I don't think it should happen. We all contributed based on the IPO schedule listed on OP. We got our investment to you in time. The late-comers should not be rewarded with IPO entry.
