I've also send my 0.35 BTC to the adress, really excited to be a part of this project!

Am I still able to get a stake?

And there we go again

And here's the good news we have for you today. We received the large order we submitted for promotional material which will start being distributed this very weekend. Media companies will receive a promotional package consisting of a leaflet explaining what cryptocurrencies are and how Muniti will benefit the Maltese denizens. They will also receive a USB (4GB storage) with the Muniti logo on it which will include a Muniti wallet with 500 MUN in it, in order for them to be better able to explore and find out for themselves how it works, and how quick and efficient transfers are. Posters and more leaflets will be distributed around Malta and Gozo as well. More details will be provided as the promotion picks up pace. Great job dev! Been mining since the start and i'll stick with you.

Excuse me for being non-technical but what do these pictures/videos represent?
|
|

I'll send my hashes over too, would you consider adding a x11 option too? This because i like this algo so much better due to less heat/energy usage.
Thnx

A NEM stakeholder to sell, pm with a offer.
So you're selling a stakeholder ? slave trader ? Thanks, made my day

|

I might invest a little after all, just curious about this one first. What is the mining algo going to be?
EDIT: Since it's not specified anywhere I suggest you implent the x11 hashing algo, this to support being a 'green' coin since it takes less KW/h and produces less heat.

Loving Hirocoin atm. Especially awesome because i'm living in the Netherlands where it's 0,24/kwh

These days I have a very simple mining schedule. On cold days I mine LTC and DOGE. On hot days, I mine VTC, DRK and HVC.
VTC is just as hot as scrypt. I'd suggest mining HIC (Hirocoin) also uses X11 algo but without darksend. Any coin with anonymity features like darkcoins will get banned by the government anyway.

Count me in

EMC2 should definitely change it's hashing function to x11 asap imo.

Wow, what the hell happend to the pice of this coin

Hi all (^_^)/ After being tipped about Hirocoin and it's low energy requirements compared to scrypt-based coins, I was immediately interested. Having a totally different kind of algo also made me curious about it. I liked Max Keiser's coin just because of that more efficient mining, but Hiro is doing even better Or so I hope. I've configured my MSI R9 280X Gaming OC's with the following: "no-pool-disable" : true, "kernel" : "darkcoin", "scrypt" : true, "api-allow" : "127.0.0.1", "api-listen" : true, "auto-fan" : true, "gpu-fan" : "30-60", "intensity" : "13", "temp-target" : "75", "temp-overheat" : "78", "temp-cutoff" : "80" Which results in this when mining. sgminer 4.1.0 - Started: [2014-03-24 15:57:37] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (5s):5.587M (avg):5.574Mh/s | A:2 R:0 HW:0 WU:0.086/m ST: 1 SS: 0 NB: 22 LW: 1741 GF: 0 RF: 0 Connected to Pool 1 (stratum) diff -0.000 as user Syaoran.Akira Block: 5a7f1b0d... Is that very low WU something I should worry about (bad configuration or something else?) The pool got me 34 coins in 30 minutes. Also, I see no temperature and fan readings in sgminer? Except for these question, I'm impressed with that my rigs draws only 366 Watts from the wall How did you measure your watt usage?

intensity for 280x should be set to 13 try deleting the shaders parameter to see if that fixes the HW issues
After deleting shaders, i still have got some hw errors. Also I changed the intensity from 13 to 12 to 11, but every time i have harware errors. Mining ultracoin with the following settings, without hw errors: ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://ultra.nitro.org:3337 -u x.1 -p x --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 16384 -g 2 -I 12 --lookup-gap 3 -w 256 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --gpu-powertune 20 --expiry 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale And doge also with no hardware errors: sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://eu.multipool.us:3352 -u x.1 -p x -I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -w 256 --shaders 2048 --gpu-engine 1170 --gpu-memclock 1825 --temp-cutoff 87 --temp-target 77 --auto-fan No luck this coin with these settings: sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3339 -u x.1 -p x -I 11 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 Try changing your -w to 400 and I 13 should work just fine

I like the fact that my GPU''s run cooler alot. Just wondering, does this coin really bring something new when comparing it to darkcoin?
I do think that we will be the more popular choice for miners over Darkcoin as they use inverse difficulty reward, so the higher the difficulty the lower the coin reward. We could also be a more popular choice for merchants as we have automatic checkpointing to safeguard against 51% attacks aiming to reverse transaction. One of our keys goals is to be very secure. Check the first post for the complete list of work done and if you are a coder go look at the commit history on GitHub to see that we have meticulously coded Hirocoin setting it above the majority of coins that get launched. Hirocoin is a long term project but with 100MH ASICs expected in Q2/Q3 we may see our popularity rising much soon er than that Thanks for the quick answer, cleared some things up. Another question, is there a post/topic somewhere with optimized settings for 280x cards?

Will the block time be 2.5 minutes or seconds?
Minutes. 200 blocks witch reward 1, block time 2.5 minutes.. 8 hours without reward or i not understand well? I'm assuming it would take no longer than 60 minutes to mine the 200 starting blocks and get regular block rewards because of high hash rate and low difficulty. If I remember right KGW will be on, so in 20 blocks DIFF will be sky high because if it (if there is a heavy nethash). who's bringing this high hash rate ? the Ipo guys ? or all the miners that got f'ed over in the "first" launch ? It doesn't matter who's bringing the hashes, that's the point of KGW. Blocks will never be solved faster than aprox. 2,5 min regardless of the hash rate

Well should everything stated in the OP be true this is the best coin in a long time..
But it seems too good to be true tbh.
