321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Recessions make stores of value pump. Bitcoin dumped and that's alarming on: August 15, 2019, 06:29:03 PM
https://chainbulletin.com/global-recession-indicators-send-the-crypto-market-in-freefall/

How do we explain the fact that news of the upcoming crisis made bitcoin drop unlike other store of value?
Was it some hacker dumping tons like last time?
Or it BTC simply not considered a SoV by the general public.
If it is not, how do we convince them that it is? Do we change our approach?

Relax already, jesus.....

Bitcoin is volatile, and it's gonna pump and dump like this, until all alts have been sold at the absolute bottom. Whales are making people scared of altcoins, only to get a good entry point, when they decide to turn the market around and pump altcoins.
The market moves in cycles, a high BTC dominance means you should diverisfy in ALTS, and a low BTC dominance means go all in BTC (or any stable coin)

I'm moving a few BTC into alts currently, and while some of you probably believe I'm an idiot for doing so, I don't care. I bought some ADA at 400 sats, and I'm already up on my investment. Expect it to go down there again, so if it falls too much, I've got my stop loss set.

I'm also buying up a great deal of XSN - Low cap project who's making the first Lightning DEX, Lightning Multi Currency Wallet, and their own hardware wallet. Huge deal, as anyone who've dealt with large sums of crypto transactions know how much you're paying in fees, and the transaction time is horrendous. Lightning solves it all, and Stakenet has put it in a place making it completely decentralized, by making their eco-system of masternodes act as lightning channels, and service providers.

Anyway, you gotta relax, it's just the big whales playing around with your emotions Smiley
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most undervalued & most promising coins of 2019 & 2020 (TOP 3) on: August 15, 2019, 06:20:15 PM
Any altcoin right now is undervalued, and I'm sure a select few will perform way better than the rest of the market.

We'll run into huge scaling issues soon, if we don't make use of off-chain transactions through Lightning channels. It goes for any project wanting to go full scale really (with a few exceptions).

One of the project I'm having my eyes on is Stakenet. It's one of the projects focusing the most on Lightning Transactions, which opens up a wide range of possibilities, and removes a LOT of limits we currently have.
Lightning has been accused of being a "centralized" solution, but Stakenet uses masternodes to act as Lightning hubs, so their setup is actually genius when you think about it.

They are building the first Lightning DEX
First Lightning Multi Currency Wallet (With inbuilt TOR-integration), adding support for USDT (Which announched they'll be moving to lightning as well), this makes it possible to tether up inside your own wallet, without risking your assets to a centralized exchange. It's currently in open BETA.

Do your own research, but it's definitely one I'm keeping a close eye on!
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX on: August 13, 2019, 07:09:09 PM
Is it already alive?
I have a question that i wanna ask the team about that and when the atomic swap will be alive and how can i get the best rate to swap my token? this should be the main question in the atomic swap service but it looks like stakenet needs more time to go.
Komodo has very well explained about its atomic swap mechanism.

The team behind Komodo recently did a test swap on their DEX, and I believe it took like 9 mins for a trade. It concerns me a lot, since I don't think the vast majority of people is gonna care that much, when centralized exchanges offers the same, but faster?
This is why I made this thread - I truly believe Stakenet's DEX solution is superior compared to KMD. Time will tell though  Wink
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH 2.0 will cause FOMO or FUD? on: August 13, 2019, 07:05:25 PM
Proof Of Stake (Although hated by a LOT of people) is the future of crypto imho.

Saves a TON of electricity, makes staking accessibly for anyone holding ETH. It's a BULLISH move in crypto, and I believe staking pools will become even more popular than they already are due to the fact that the vast majority of people wont have enough ETH to solo stake it.

I'm a huge fan of XSN (Stakenet), their platform will support ETH once they update and move to POS, and I believe a lot of people will use it. There are a lot of staking pools out there from various projects, but Stakenet offers way more than that on their platform.

Excited to read this, as I've been waiting for ages for an actual date. Gotta buy up as much XSN as I can afford, before Proof Of Stake becomes the industry standard (at least for ETH). It's gonna open up the eyes for people looking to make passive income, I'm sure.
Next thing we need is for ETH to move to the Lightning Network, and we'll be able to trade instantly using Stakenet's upcoming Lightning DEX.  Grin

Thanks for posting OP!
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any new promising Masternode coins? on: August 13, 2019, 06:57:13 PM
You got to look into XSN.

Stakenet is a masternode POS coin, which splits staking and masternode rewards equally, (This way anyone can make a profit off of XSN, even the small holders). Currently 18%/year running a masternode.

The Stakenet DEX will be running entirely on masternodes. So how does that work?
The masternodes will be highly advanced, and will host all the chains supported by the network. This makes the whole experience as a user much more convenient and smooth, and in the end you wont even feel a difference between the DEX, and a centralized exchange.

There's MUCH more to the project than that though, which I'll briefly highlight below:

TPOS - Trustless Proof Of Stake
Stakenet was the inventor of TPOS, which gives you the option to stake your coins trustlessly (offline) through a merchant who'll take a fee for doing so. (You can be your own merchant if you setup a VPS for it).

Hardware Device: VIPER
Stakenet is supported by Ledger, Trezor, and Xeeda, but despite the fact that they are nice hardware wallets, Stakenet aims to build an even better one. See the their roadmap for more info on that.

Stakenet.io - Online Staking Platform, Masternode Monitor, and Masternode As A Service Platform
Stakenet aims to make staking easy for the average newbie, providing a service where you can store your XSN on their website. This is a centralized solution, and it's strongly adviced that you only keep small amounts here. From here you can Stake XSN, PIVX, and Stratis (More POS coins coming)
Besides that you can monitor your Masternodes, which means you'll get an email if one of your nodes goes down (extremely handy btw).
You can also use their "Masternode As A Service" platform to host your masternodes on, while still having control over your coins. (They just setup a VPS for you, makes it easy to setup a masternode, even for a complete beginner to crypto).

Lightning Transactions
Stakenet was the 3rd project worldwide to implement lightning on mainnet. (Right after BTC/LTC), and they even helped the Litecoin developers with the final lightning integration.
Source: https://litecoin.com/en/news/litecoin-foundation-x9-devs-partner-to-support-ltcd-and-lightning-network

Marketcap
Total marketcap of XSN right now is below $10 Million. Upside potential is massive on this one.

Apart from all of this, they also plan to work on Cross Chain Proof Of Stake (Stake XSN, Get your rewards in LTC/BTC/DASH or whatever you choose). Their DEX aggregator, Mobile Wallet, Multi Currency Light Wallet with inbuilt Lightning Swaps and TOR integration

Love Stakenet.

It's got everything a masternode project should have, but WITHOUT the scammy vibe to it, and PnD type of deal.
The use case for XSN is gonna be enourmous, and I predict it to be just as strong as DASH in the future, due to their incredible work on Lightning.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: August 13, 2019, 06:50:39 PM
The market will recover, like it always has.

It's funny to see how scared everyone is, but as soon as the market cycle turns around, you'll see people saying: "I told you so"...
Bitcoins dominance is crazy high, and those of you selling your altcoins for cheap will hate yourself once altcoins sky rocket again, and you sold the bottom.
YES, there's a lot of vaporware shit projects out there, but there are some decent ones as well.

As long as you invest in projects with a literal future, you'll be good. Like investing in Stakenet, that aims to enhance and make Bitcoin and Litecoin payments easier for everyone is a good altcoin project to take a look at.
Their work on the lightning network is incredible, and they helped Litecoin implementing Lightning on mainnet, believe it or not.

Their Lightning DEX solution will provide unlimited transactions/second, with extremely low fees. NO KYC, NO registration, 100% privacy using TOR, and Mimblewimble will ensure that the big whales can move their trading to a TRUE DEX solution that is 100% SAFE to trade on without risking your millions of dollars to an exchange hack (Like we've seen over and over).

Relax, and enjoy the cheap coins while they last. Bitcoin is recommended to hold in any portfolio, but holding BTC only is a mistake and an opportunity expense I wouldn't risk right now.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency are you currently buying during a dip? on: August 13, 2019, 06:40:01 PM
I'm buying up as much XSN as I possibly can, and while 99% of you will disregard the project, not even spending 5 mins doing any research on it, I challenge you to do so either way.

$7 mio marketcap - LOT of room to grow
Partnered up with Litecoin to help them on Lightning development
Supported by: Ledger, Trezor, and Xeeda
Making their own Hardware wallet (VIPER)
Multi Currency Wallet with inbuildt 1-click lightning swaps and TOR-integration in open beta
Staking pool, Masternodes As A Service (Completely hands off masternode service, paid in XSN) + Monitoring tool which let's you know by email if your nodes goes down
First project to implement Masternodes, Segwit, Atomic Swaps, and Lightning swaps on mainnet.
Third project to implement lightning on mainnet next to BTC, and LTC.
Helped the PIVX team fix a huge exploit in their seesaw mechanism between masternodes and stakers.
Developing their own Lightning DEX, which provides INSTANT trading, with next to NO fees. Forget about Atmoic DEX solutions with confirmations times, nobody even uses it at this point.

Best of all? All the dApps running on their eco-system is powered by masternodes, which means all these nodes are gonna make a killing providing all kinds of different services, that ENHANCES BTC, and LTC users enourmously.

Do your own research guys Wink
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: He Predicts Death of Altcoins and Hard Forks on: August 12, 2019, 06:46:53 PM
All the ICO scam tokens will bleed and fade away. Quality of new projects isn't improving much either. There's a LOT of money to be made from making shitcoins sadly, so we'll always see these coins pop up from time to time.

Personally I'm sticking to promising projects with active developments.

I'm holding:

BTC
LTC
ADA
LINK

But my biggest sleeper is definitely XSN. It's gonna outperform most altcoins, since the team behind Stakenet is building and innovating upon the Lightning Network, bringing off-chain transactions with speed of light and low fees to the public. HUGE potential, and believe it or not, they actually helped both LTC, and PIVX integrating and fixing their code.

Do your own research though, and stay away from ERC20 tokens which are hyped up on nothing but vaporware, with nothing going for them.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Stakenet VS Komodo. Atomic Swaps / Lightning Swaps DEX on: August 12, 2019, 06:39:12 PM
Disclaimer: I'm an investor in both projects, so I'm biased.

So recently I've been reading up A LOT on decentralized trading, and peer to peer transactions. All these complaints on KYC submissions on various exchanges makes me confident that DEX's is gonna blow up in the future. This is EXACTLY why I decided to buy into Komodo, since I believe they'll be a huge player in the next alt season. Their Atomic DEX provides peer to peer trading via atomic swaps, but their recent test transactions took about 9 minutes, and that's quite som time to sit and wait compared to centralized exchange trading, hence why I understand why people don't like the DEX solutions currently available.

Next we got Stakenet, who's building a Lightning DEX, providing offchain peer to peer transactions, with near instant transactions, and lower fees. Lightning hasn't been easy to implement on Bitcoin, and there's a lot of doubters, but from what I've seen, this looks extremely promising, for a lot of reasons:

1) Nobody needs to sync with the DEX to use it, since all the chains is held by the masternodes running the DEX.
2) No KYC
3) No Registration process, just straight trading.

Comparing these 2 projects is hard, but it's obvious that I'm actually starting to be way more bullish on Stakenet, since I believe instant transactions will make people actually USE the DEX.

Not a fan of the whole "Binance DEX", since it's not a DEX in the first place. All the transactions is verified by Binance themselves (they own all the nodes), which isn't decentralized at all.

I'll hold both projects, since Komodo is the "safer" investment for now I guess, but I'm sure Stakenet will eventually outperform them.
Thoughts? Smiley
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: July 31, 2019, 12:29:22 AM
There are new exchanges popping up every single day, and a big number of them are outright scams.
I sometimes wonder WHY crypto hasn't moved to decentralized solutions yet, as we see exchanges getting hacked left and right all the time.

A great example of a true DEX solution is Stakenets Lightning DEX.

- Near 0 fees
- Fast transactions if you trade over the lightning network.

100% privacy, maximum security, and ease of use.
It's so decentralized by running on masternodes, that even if the devs was asked to shut down the DEX, they can't.

Do your own research on this one!
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High fees on some exchange! on: July 30, 2019, 06:44:38 PM
There is no doubt in my mind that Stakenet DEX will be extremely popular, based on reading this topic, haha.

Near instant transactions, close to no fees using lightning.
It's the perfect combination really. Speed, and low fees. Best of both worlds!
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best Privacy Coins In 2019 on: July 29, 2019, 10:36:41 PM
It's funny how there is all so much competition between which coin to use for "Privacy", when a LOT of coins has privacy, yet so many other features.

Monero, Zcash, and others are all about privacy. I get that, it's a niche market, and it has it's place, BUT I believe they'll be irrelavant moving forward as more and more coins enables privacy features ON TOP of existent tech.

Take a look at Stakenet for instance. A project sitting on a marketcap of just $10 mio, yet is building the infrastructure of a full blown eco-system running on masternodes. These masternodes will host a wide variety of DApps and services, such as their Lightning DEX, Their Multi Currency Lightning Wallet, and Private transactions is just a small part of it all.

So to compare Stakenet with Monero, you've got Monero which is private, but Stakenet who:

Can scale with unlimited transactions/second
Lightning Network Compatible
Trustless Proof Of Stake
Masternodes
Masternodes As A Service
Pooled Staking Service
Masternode Monitoring Service
Cross Chain Proof Of Stake
Private Transactions

And much much more..
So the BEST privacy coin? It depends how you decide to look at it, in this case Stakenet>Monero based on utility features.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Cap Alts Speculation on: July 26, 2019, 11:42:42 PM
I'm definitely holding a lot of alt coins, some which I'm deep in the red with, however I haven't lost faith in these since there is still very active development.
I'm holding:

XSN - First Lightning DEX, Lightning Multi Currency, Cross Chain Proof Of Stake, and inventor of Cold Staking
ARK - Point Click Blockchain - I believe this one will make it easier for any company to tokenize their assets and use the blockchain for company data etc. Like Wordpress of the internet.
ETH - Smart Contracts and a huge platform already
LINK - Oracles.

And a few others.

In terms of upside potential, I see XSN as the biggest gainer, but that's only because the marketcap is so stupid low, otherwise I'd probably say LINK.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: July 26, 2019, 11:37:00 PM
I’m not a 100% if Wallet.dat can be imported but there will be desktop and mobile versions for the multicurrency wallet which you can restore from seed so can have it in both places or as many as you want.

Sounds like a very ideal solution. I'd love to be able to use seed words instead of a .dat file. Probably because I'm so used to the Exodus wallet, lol
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Thoughts on Stakenet? Masternode based DEX and Multi Currency Wallet on: July 24, 2019, 06:32:53 PM
With the recent all time high BTC dominance percentage, I'm looking to scoop up some alts while they're cheap. Got some ARK the other day, and it turned out to be a good decision.

As I'm a huge fan og Proof Of Stake, and masternodes in general, I decided to do some research, to find the most promising masternode projects with an actual use case. Blocknet looks promising, but I don't like the way they run their DEX, and I certainly can't afford a masternode in it at this point in time.

I came across Stakenet, who wants to build a DEX running on masternodes, apparently all the nodes will host the chains supported by the network, which means nobody needs to SYNC with the network. That's the biggest issue as it is right now with most DEX's. Nobody uses them, because it's a pain in the ass, and it's too slow.

Their multi currency lightning wallet functions the same way, so the incentive to hold a masternode seems to be massive, since all the fees involved in their ecosystem of services is distributed to the nodes running it.
If their DEX takes off, it's gonna add up quickly.

How high could this go? It's sitting at like $10 mio in marketcap right now. 50x seems possible?
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - The Next 50x Altcoin Out There? on: July 22, 2019, 06:40:46 PM
Nice to see an actual quality thread for once outlining your thoughts and the project details etc.

Seen the project mentioned on Reddit a few times, and it does look promising. If they can pull off what they've planned on their roadmap, and if we enter a new altcoin season soon, I don't see why this wouldn't increase massively in value, along with other projects.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: July 17, 2019, 04:09:56 AM
Sorry for double posting, but when will we be able to test this? Smiley
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: July 16, 2019, 02:41:14 PM
Latest Dev Update has arrived with a first look at the mobile version of the Multicurrency Wallet:

https://medium.com/stakenet/xsn-dev-update-stakenjuly-12-2019-bfb81a8929bd

Sick design! Is it available in a white layout as well? Just wondering if you'll be able to change themes perhaps?

I love the black one, but I'd imagine some people prefer plain white
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: July 10, 2019, 05:00:29 PM
Just read this interview between one of the lead devs of Stakenet and altcoin buzz. Really loved it, since I'm not a fan of reading long white papers. Answered a lot of my questions on the project.

https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/crypto-news/spotlight/interview-with-stakenets-platform-manager-shahab-behzadi/
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best DEX out there? What do you guys think? on: July 08, 2019, 06:46:02 PM
There are many out there, but most of them has 0 to no volume at all.

Personally I've got my eyes on Stakenet's DEX solution, which will run on masternodes. It's a lightning DEX, so it's gonna run extremely fast in comparison to any other out there, and since it's run on masternodes, which are required to hold the chains, you wont even notice the difference between the Stakenet DEX, and any other centralized exchange, which is crucial for adoption and user friendliness.
Problem is, if you want to exchange BTC for LTC, you need to download both chains (And they are massive at this point) to even be able to trade.

Problem is the liquidity, it always is. Stakenet is adding a DEX Aggregator, which will combine multiple DEX orderbooks into their own adding tons of liquidity, and ease of use.

This is a based answer, since I'm invested in the project itself, but it's 100% my best recommendation at this point. I believe the DEX will be launched within a couple of months at most.
