When can I sell them for 10000 satoshi each?
It's all in the presentation and marketing. Sell them to hobbyist coin collectors along with a certificate of authenticity containing assurance of limited supply ("This is TrollCoin x of only n."). Or take them to antique shops and tell the owners that they're ancient Roman coins. I've been selling my TrollCoins for $50 each!

Looks like SMLY's getting delisted from C-Cex! I expected this eventually as it's hard to keep up the volume they require, but apparently their SMLY wallet was down for like a month? So that wouldn't have helped matters. Let's vote on getting SMLY onto a competent exchange! https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/HomeAction/Voting

o2o is vibrant and focuses on London ... the UK ain't that big so having 'brit' coin doesn't pick up much more territory than the London o2o coin already covers ... besides where is this coin listed and trade-able. Why did o2o need to exist when two British-themed coins were already well-known? Most of the British population does not live in London and those who do not don't like London much! Most of the UK's area is not London either. Let's keep voting for BRIT on Cryptopia! https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/HomeAction/Voting

I'd like to start a dialogue that may or may not result in changes to TrollCoin for the long run, I'm talking next year stuff at the earliest. I got into & took control over Troll because of the name. Most ppl into cryptos are very serious, paranoid, and fearful of scammers lurking about. Such is the nature of easy money, so I fully understood the uphill battle it would be to promote & spread Trolls. And right I was, not only are the crypto folks out there wary of anything remotely suspect, so are the general public. Those of us who see past the name, like minded confident ppl who see the value & humor of this contradiction of a name for a secure currency, as awesome as you all are, there just aren't that many of us. So I present you with this question.
Should we continue to push forward and make TrollCoin the success we know it can be, or give into mainstream thinking, rebrand TrollCoin & take the easier road?
I'm personally on the edge, while I'm reminded that before something is accepted by "people" it's often scoffed at & ridiculed, yet there are times when we push forward with an idea simply because we don't want to give up & admit defeat. What say you all?
Are you trolling us? Of course don't change the name. This coin will be a big hit once crypto/altcoins make a comeback. Fix the Twitch bot and see this coin to the moon!

Anyone running a node to sync to?

|

Any news?Or another dead...because I cant sync wallet
Did you get it syncing yet? I might have some node IPs, need to check my backups since I upgraded my computer. Does anyone have the 2.0 TOR wallet? I don't trust the 2.1 wallet and don't know what's different, but does anyone have that too? Would like the Windows wallet. I have Linux installed but haven't tried compiling the source there. I want to keep a fire burning until Britcoin is ready to make a comeback.

A brief update: We have finished with all of the blockchain changes of the new features. Now it is just a matter of updating the GUI to be able to use the new features. After that, Pebblecoin 0.5 will be released!
Any news dev? ^^;;

I like the hardcore dev skillz, but would you ever consider rebranding?
Rebranding would be insane. People want a dark dogecoin. This coin can go to the dark moon if the anon stuff is just made a little easier to work (I got an error installing Win 7 i2p auto-installer and didn't know how to proceed) and someone makes some nice post comparing Doge and DOGED emission rate (because if people think that there are the same number of Doge and DOGED then that makes DOGED look more expensive than it really is).

Too quiet
Good time to dump! Would be good if there was an auto-dump feature in the wallet.

You are absolutely right, this is a bit sloppy. The premine was a little below 25 billion. It is lost somewhere in the thread above, but the formal premine (which you can find in the source code on github) was "only" 24 billion. Then we also did a small in-class experiment (about 1 week of mining which should give 2400 blocks or 24 million SMLY), so the full premine was 24 billion plus a few million mined during the experiment. We really wanted to do the in-class experiment with rewards before launching, just to know whether we were missing something.
I guess I could have counted the exact number, but it felt simpler to just talk about 50% even though it is actually slightly less (more like 48%).
Sorry for the confusion.
That's OK So there are less than a billion non-premine coins out there? But that can't be, as I have more than a billion. So the coin supply figure on coinmarketcap must be totally off. EDIT: Sorry, I don't have more than a billion Not good at counting!

OP says: Quantity: 50 billion Algorithm: Scrypt Time per block: 3 minutes (2400 blocks) Block reward: 10 000 SMLY (halved after 7 years) 50% premine, used for student rewards Annual reward targets: equal for students and miners
So, the premine should be 25 billion? But coinmarketcap http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/smileycoin/ says: Available supply: 24,952,850,000 SMLY So... the premine hasn't finished yet? Much confuse.
