Obviously you can think whatever you want.. It's not like I care about it.. It's a free world (sort off) and a free market...
That said, if nobody gives a shit, and we only talk about how I failed or what I should do or should've done.. Maybe there is no point in trying to push this project forward anymore..
It's simple really, we either restart with a fresh plan, or we let this die slowly.. Make a choice...

If there ever was an exchange being worked on fixing it would be the most obvious thing to do.
Throwing out the whole thing now would be idiotic if securing it was all that was needed to complete the project and deliver what people paid into.
If you think simply claiming the 'exchange failed' is sufficient information at the final hour, shutting everything down and keeping the ico funds, you're kidding yourself.
The whole thing was just another shitty ico money grab

Ico funds? You mean the Bitcoin that got burned when my house was burned down last year? Ico money grab? You realise we only raised about $10K during the ICO in 2016? If I wanted to "money grab" I would not be here 2 years later... wow....  And if I say it failed, it failed... Who are you to decide differently? We're you the one coding the exchange? No, I don't think so... Last time I checked I was doing that.. But wait, we can do it like this though... I will put everything online, launch the exchange, trade etc... When we get hacked (80% chance), I will point everyone claiming to have lost funds to your address! How's that? Is it so hard to accept and understand that I failed with this (end)project? If so, you know how to exit... Meanwhile the PIO ICO price in dollar value is still up about 5-7x.. |

What's your point? That banner has been there since Aug last year.. I forgot to delete it, so I deleted it after you were making the weird impression that my explorer service would replace the exchange.... Again, who said my services would replace the exchange? And correct, the exchange failed... It's been talked about before... The website is not even finished yet as I'm still changing and updating stuff...  I've had it with the "exchange" talk.. I don't intend to keep repeating myself.. The exchange FAILED! I can't get it secure enough.. If you we're in this coin for the exchange only, dump your bags! A new coin with a completely new development plan will be presented later.. So either dump, or wait patiently for the new coin.. (no ico etc) |

Meanwhile, hodl or sell....
Meanwhile ~6 weeks have passed, ~4 of which without any form of communication (or just some more middle fingers to your investors). You truely don't care about this project do you? Just would have been nice if you never made any of your countless empty promises. And by now dumping doesn't make sense either, there is absolutely no one that wants to buy this garbage anymore.. Everyone, please stop whining and complaining... It is how it is... Plan b is being worked on for launch... A bit more patience, I can't tell you what it is yet... I'm fully aware of our situation.. And I can tell you now that all these posts are not helping us in this situation either... But I do understand where it's coming from... Let me tell you this... You know it's way easier for me to just leave right? And start over with a new account and project... But I didnt... Someone contacted me about a possible restart of this coin.. I thought it might be a good idea to re-open the thread to give it some life again. I dont own much CHIP myself anymore.. I sold some, given a bunch away, and lost some in my house fire.. I will not develop this coin myself.. I have too much on my mind with my own project.. (CHIP was a takeover project) I don't know if this person or team is serious, I was just asked if it was an option if they took control.. I have no idea what they are planning.. This is an opensource project so everyone is free to step in.. I might even give away the chipcoin.info domain if someone is serious enough... The wallet on yobit is still working btw... Dev is nowhere to be seen for days!! Not on slack, not on here?? Where is he? I think he bailed out on us! I am tired of this project.
This is just like any other scammy e-coin.
The dev and his team are selling their coins off, they robbed all coin investors. The coin is worth almost nothing and they are selling off. A failed company!
I have not sold a single coin... xmas stock exchange ? coinsmarkets scam and die It appears so... Shame though, I kinda liked that exchange for some reason.. Devs, could you list one more exchange?

Can you address the enormous elephant in the room for once?
Lets try again, since you completely ignored all questions regarding the exchange and everything that did (not) happen last month(s):
1. How come you did not inform us of not being capable of coding an exchange when you knew it instead of post beta date?
2. Is there anything to show regarding ANY development of the (cancelled) exchange?
3. Why have you closed down Slack?
4. What happend to the donations?
5. Are you still planning on developing the exchange in a later stage?
6. Why don't you communicate?
Sigh... You know, there is no need for me to answer any of these questions.. But I will answer them anyway.. 1: Your question is mixing up things and is not correct.. I thought I was capable, but I failed on some security parts.. learn to read other posts.. 2: There is nothing to show/release if the end product is not secure. 3: We're switching to Telegram, slack sucks.. again, this was already said. 4: Sold some to fund servers, bought some, traded some, staked some.. Why? I can't use donations? Why send them in the first place... 5: Yes... Don't ask me when, I will ninja release it in the future if the security issues are solved.. 6: I'm not communicating as often as some of you would want me to, but I do communicate... I'm saying this to everyone who has doubts or accuse me of being filth whatever.. I'm not here to release insecure trading software to a community and I'm certainly not here to hold someone's hand on the bumpy road to get there... A scammer would not even bother to post a reply to all this... A scammer would have agreed to the proposed slack community idea of hosting a coinswap so I could have regained some of my lost coins, I declined the offer... Not sure what to say to all these messages... Do I suck at communication? Yes I do.. That said, I keep silent for how long? 2 weeks (posted some in slack though)... And all hell brakes lose again? Don't like how things are going? You know the doorway to the market... Nobody is asking you to invest, hold or whatever... About the exchange, I've asked some previous colleagues to review my code the last couple of weeks.. And in their opinion it's not fit to go online in it's current state.. There are still some security concerns.. This is the second time it's a no-go for the launch.. Maybe I'm just not up for the job, I don't know.. I do know that I need to think about this project as a whole and the way I imagined it when I started this... At this point I'm not sure if I can pull this off the way it was planned.. I have some backup ideas and such, but I need some time to think about everything and for most our future first.. Call me whatever you want.. I really don't care.. If I wanted to pull the so called "plug" I would have done so a loooong time ago.. I'm closing down Slack though.. We're switching to telegram once I have things sorted out..

Delaying that until my own exchange has launched in february.. Not much volume on coinsmarkets.. Such a shame though, we couldve had so much fun during the holidays, but every exchange out there was acting grinch to us..
