Yes a Moderator/Staff can actually help you verify your claim that he sent that PM, just click on the "Report to Moderator" in the bottom corner of the PM and then in the "description box" and include a link to this post and ask the Moderator to post here to help you verify the PM.
You're saying mods have open access to PM's ?? I find that disturbing especially on a forum like this. Never was aware of that and while in cases/disputes like this it would be good but I do find it to be a bit intrusive. On most forums they do NOT for privacy reasons. That being said I've never seen a mod confirm or not confirm anyone's personal messages when asked to do so. Of course I haven't read every message on the system either so I guess it might be true!  |

The fact you have to create probably 20+ so obviously fake accounts to compliment yourself is the issue. If you were so "successful" you wouldn't need that. The odds of not a single person above newbie rank and most all not having more than 1 - 3 posts having anything good to say about you is slim and fishy. Creating obvious sock-puppets doesn't help your rep it just makes you look foolish. That plus some of the same fake sock-puppets posting the exact same thing on your other alt account makes it even stranger. See the arcives of those threads a couple messages back. With all your "success" I'm surprised you haven't been able to afford to buy some higher level accounts as 99% brand new newbie "vouches" are useless to help your rep.  All they do is help bump your thread which obviously is the your goal. |

This guy spends half his life creating fake sockpuppet users to post in his thread. LOL, 90+ posts in this thread, a few from the OP and just about every other post is from a FAKE newbie sockpuppet (over 40 of them) with between 1 and 5 posts posts saying how great he is. And what is even funnier is that the "newbies" who have between 2-6 posts all their other posts that I have looked at have been about this same guy. Not trying to be rude but how can error happen in reporting posts, it's not like that you just press report button, you have to provide reason, and usually there is some rethinking, no?
You can click on the wrong thread and send a report meant for the thread below or above it. You can have 2nd thoughts. You have multiple windows opened and reported the message in the wrong window. You misread the actual post you are reporting. You can just be careless. And finally: Someone could have paid you $700 NOT to report it but you already did. |

How about a 2 minute timer to be allowed to delete a report made in error or for whatever reason you realize it shouldn't have been left. Could easily eliminate an embarrassing error which is no big deal but it could save mods some time digging through bad reports. If you report again the post with "sorry, please ignore previous report" would suffice. I know what you mean but these types of mistakes are not that often and don't see any measures taken for things that happen 0.1% of the time. LOL, that's exactly what happened and what I did. However a delete option would make it easier for everyone I think. It should have a very short timer (like 2 mins) to avoid payoffs |

Well then I apologize for my lack of technical prowess and thank you for the explanation! WHATEVER the technical reason the result is the same. Changing the new Firefox DEFAULT setting fixed it. That's all that matters to me.

Firefox is not using cloudflare as an "automatic proxy". Firefox does support DNS-over-HTTPS. When enabling, you can chose which server to use. And Cloudflares DNS server is the default one. But that's not a proxy. That's an encrypted way to resolve domains to IP addresses (without being visible for everyone). ARCHIVE.IS doesn't seem to like that.
The website does NOT know how you gathered the IP. It is the DNS servers fault. This has nothing to do with archive.is or any other website.

If you are having a problem accessing the ARCHIVE.IS webpage archive site (and probably some others) and are using the latest update of Firefox (76.0.1) here is the fix. Firefox is using CLOUDFARE as an automatic proxy. ARCHIVE.IS doesn't seem to like that.
Go into TOOLS, OPTIONS and scroll down to the bottom of the screen to NETWORK SETTINGS and disable (or change) the Firefox Proxy.

Not really. Think of it as if someone offered you any number of brand new iPhones for $200 instead of $1100. There is no way you can obtain these gift cards and be able to sell them for 60% off and STILL be able to make a profit if they are obtained legally and by legit means unless maybe you're just some generous guy who loves to give away money. All the "I got it with points" or "from clicking on porn sites all day" don't work either. You can easily sell them for 80-90% of face on legitimate sites that buy gift cards so obviously something stinks which is why the other posters laugh at you. If it looks like a fish, swims like a fish and stinks like a fish then it's either a scam or carded cards. No more free bumps. Everyone should remember: If an offer sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Don't fall for scams. Always use an escrow.

Can anyone post their check without any of the private information? Does it mention coronavirus or Donald Trump? France and the UK are the only European countries where I've seen them still being used somewhat frequently.
This was sent to my deceased (2 1/2yrs ago) father c/o me. Ours was electronically deposited. I scanned it as a souvenir before sending it back. The orange panda doesn't sign them. Where's Trump's signature?  He can't sign it by law, not that that hasn't stopped him before, and didn't sign it. He "signed" the asinine letter that came 3 days later. |
