I'm glad all the idiots losing money to ponzi schemes. Next we will hear about "cloud mining" closing shops. The stupidity of general ppl never cease to amaze me.

322  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN‘s Liquid Cooled Miner C1: It is not only cool, but it is cool on: October 20, 2014, 08:09:19 AM
I think it will not be a problem to run three C1s with one strong pump... will give it a try :-)

With the super cheap kits being sold I'm not sure there is a reason to. Removes all your redundancy with no benefit.

I agree. However, I still have a lot of old stuff here in my basement, so I'll only have to buy some fittings and new tubes. Especially with a 9-fan-radiator and a 1800l/h-pump, I guess it should be possible. In the worst case, one miner will be super-cool while the middle will be warm and the third one overheated...

As i said many pages ago, RUN THEM PARALLEL, god damn you noobs (also since the block channels are quite small 6mm, make a cheap manifold - 1/2" to 3 x 6mm tubing)

Of course parallel and not serial. The available distributor I have leads from 1/4" to 3x10mm. Although the distance between the three exits is only some millimeters, I'm not sure if this will affect the flow to the third massively. It will take a bit of experimenting.

No need for experimenting noob,

Fluid dynamic dictates since all C1 are equal in restriction, all of them will have equal flowrate.... gee  Roll Eyes

Unfortunately I have trouble trusting scientists that portray theories as fact.  That is a huge problem.
Fixed that for you. You are beyond my help or anyone else's until you stop distrusting widely accepted scientific fact.

Just because something is widely accepted does not make it a fact.  Just because society says something is good and OK does not make it moral.  The huge problem is that most of the world just blindly trusts what is told to them or even taught to them in textbooks or go along with the popular beliefs.  We need to think for ourselves.  Why are you so frustrated about what I believe anyways?  I would think you should rejoice in freedom of choice?  If I agreed with you wouldn't you be stifling my freedom?  You obviously cherish choices in lifestyle don't you?

Edit:  And as for your signature (Voltaire's quote)  "It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong" I could not agree more wholeheartedly!  There will come a day when I will be persecuted and maybe even killed for just saying that I believe in Jesus.  That is all it will take.  Just believing in Jesus will be a very dangerous thing because "established men" will disagree and say that I am wrong and say that my belief is a danger to society (even though as a Christian my hearts desire is to have a world filled with God's Spirit which is evident by the fruit of His Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness and self-control. So I am not sure what the danger is besides the common belief that Christians are keeping the world from their "freedoms" which consists of sexual immorality, lusts, other sins and hate of God's word.)  If it gets to the point where Christians are persecuted (more than we already are) who will be right and who will be wrong?

Edit 2:  If this comes across as judgmental, I am sorry.  I just want people to seek more than what they have been told.  My heart is for people to see that they are so much more valuable than something that "evolved" from nothing.  They are created in God's image.  He loves us intensely and so deeply and the thought that we are not special and created by God is a lie that is being taught as "fact" today.  This is a truth that has to be revealed by God's Spirit though, so I will pray that anyone reading this will feel God's Spirit and see the truth for what it is.

How many times i have to tell you? GO BACK TO THE FCKING KITCHEN!

Where is your hubby? did someone chop his balls off? The fcker now only use alt account on here huh?
324  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: October 20, 2014, 07:57:51 AM
* Also: you need to own it, be hashing with it, and have measured the power draw at the wall. No hearsay. I own two SP30s so I know from experience how they perform.

I've got a bunch of SP30.  They are pretty good.  Awesome even.  But, no matter.  They still won't ROI - ever.  They run really well and it is a damn good system.  However difficulty is high, BTC price is low.  The calculus changed and it just doesn't make sense.  I wonder when the .2 W/GHs gear is coming out?  The next gen stuff is going to be interesting.

The question I have is firmware upgrades.  My machines are running perfectly at 4.4T.  Should I upgrade?  What if this fucks things up?  I kind-of like the machines running at full speed without any interruptions.  I don't know if it is such a good idea to upgrade.  Zvi?

Well, I believe that with 99% probability that should not create any problems, but if they all give 4.4, I see no reason to upgrade.

Can you pls do your magic and add "most efficient" features to the firmware? Its essential for SP10 so it can mine abit longer.

Something that can make clock tuning abit faster.
325  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer U3: Decentralization continued. Order now, Ship on Nov. 5th on: October 20, 2014, 07:52:22 AM
Get companies like Dell to stop instantly dumping their btc back onto the market (though Bitpay) and you have a deal.

Again, an idiot showing his intelligence

Stop buying funding ASIC manufactures farms so they wont dump their btc and you have a deal.

ps. you really think Dell bitcoin revenue is thousands btc daily ?

I believe Dell will have much bitcoin revenue. Don't forget about the 10% discount using bitcoin....

Then i have golden bridge to sell you.

We're talking about daily revenue here idiot.

Isnt your goal supposed to be holding X amount of BTCs? Only idiots set their goals to be X hashrate in a network of never ending increasing.

329  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: October 20, 2014, 06:06:50 AM
What miner would you order right now SP20 or Sp35? I am past the ROI argument and just want to get a feel for what you guys would do. Electricity I have a lot of 240V now and I just want to pull the trigger so to speak.

Listen, if you buy a miner today you may get a few coins out of it. Why don't you spend less money and just buy some bitcoins outright.

Nah, idiot wants money printing machine yo!

I wonder if I can buy 60 with no psu's. at 30 usd each.

$26 for a plug pack, from China?

Maybe if it was from a top quality company, but lets face it, the rule of buying anything with a power supply from China is to bin it to avoid the explosion/fire.

Just annoys me that they did away with the USB Dongle design, asking buyers to take a punt on something costing £15-20 is easier than £80 (bare minimum) when you consider there are a ton of S1's kicking around on eBay going for less, no need for a pc, and with simple editing of a file, will give more gh/s for around the same amount of power usage (possibly).

Bring back the U1/2 form factor, and you'll have a deal.

No idiot, bring back $1000/btc and you'll have a deal.

Heh, we have a company we contract for that has a couple Techniwell TW700s sitting idle. I wonder how many one of those could run? Smiley

All the C1 blocks will explode. You put to much trust into Chinese alu waterblock.

Thought you guys might appreciate it.

Yours?

It's ZeusMiner / GAWMiners Datacenter Setup.

The only problem is none of them are installed nor does the Hashrate at all match what they currently pretend to offer with their Hashlets which are just fake miners that give you Bitcoins based on the thought that you may be able to make that amount of Bitcoin each day and that basicly a Bitcoin is a USD  Cheesy

Why would they fake a whole data center for it.... in the picture it looks like they are well plugged and running..

god you're fcking slow arent you?

Fake hashrate does not mean fake data center. 1PH/s datacenter in hardware ====> super dup to 10PH/s on cloud

you guys are weird, the concept is painfully simple.

you buy a TH - based on the current difficulty and assuming ideal (zero) variance, your daily payout is very easy to calculate. Thats what the site pays you.

If a machine in their farm goes down, they fix it and it has zero impact on your income. If a breaker trips and the farm runs at 80% capacity for several hours - you still receive 100% fixed income for the current difficulty.

of course, you could rely on a cloudmining where you 'own' a specific device and any error rates or downtime experienced by the machine or its pool directly decrease your income from the cloudmining.

your choice

That my friend is a definition of ponzi scam. Dont call it "cloud mining" then. You're buying btc thats promised in the future. Yeah.... i'm weird....

Only scammers dont see a problem in this scheme.
335  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN‘s Liquid Cooled Miner C1: It is not only cool, but it is cool on: October 17, 2014, 10:05:02 AM
They should include at least tubes and connectors but anyway too much hassle with watercooling.
Also shipping price (to Russia) kills the deal: 0.443 BTC for 1 piece!

Aww, that sucks. Will it cost the same if u order 2?

You dont want to mine anyway, Putin will cut your dicks off

337  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who is Bitcoinrigs.org? on: October 17, 2014, 06:50:39 AM
Does anyone know who runs Bitcoinrigs.org? A brief search here shows that they resell AM and Bitmain gear but are also listed as a possible scam.
I got a shipment notification email from them (through stamps.com) that something was coming my way. I didn't open it, but eventually sandboxed it in a VM and looked at it, which surprisingly had my shipping address and the USPS tracking number is valid and shows something moving in their system.

I've never heard of these guys before, so I'm a little curious as to
a. Who are these people?
b. Where did they get my address?
c. What the hell are they sending me?

Its a bomb, dont touch it
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First church to accept bitcoins on: October 16, 2014, 09:47:34 PM
so i can send Jesus some BTC?

Awesome, i'm going to heaven for sure... I mean aside from killing gay/lesbian, i can send buy some heaven estate with my btc.

Now I understand what Bitcoins are and that they are not recognised as any form of legal tender (even though Bitcoin mining is legal). However, there is no escaping the fact that you are essentially selling a currency business and are thus selling currency and aside from the faintly immoral aspect of this listing, the item is simply inappropriate for AVF to allow to stand.

You're trading currency yo!

LOL at the idiot MOD.

He should ban all computer hardware trades based on that stupid opinion.
340  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN‘s Liquid Cooled Miner C1: It is not only cool, but it is cool on: October 16, 2014, 09:35:26 PM
When you have multiple restrictive blocks in parallel, you will not have bottle neck in the system. I dont know why ppl even consider series in this case.

Ppl really overthink this. You can have multiple loops with common coolant and heat exchange (ie. 1 pump for each C1, one giant rad - NOT in series....)
I never said the full series solution is the best, just that people were overstating the amount of flow you need to keep the coolant at acceptable temperatures. 2l/min isn't much.

Having a large series string with a couple pumps does have other benefits as well in terms of reliability if there's a pump failure, and possibly easier routing of tubing.

The reliability benefit does not outweight the performance (temp consistency of the miners). If you're looking for reliability use flowrate + temp sensors for each loop.
