The tempurature on those units are all about 25-27c / 75C in/out. There is more than enough cooling, the reason the units were spread out was more because of PDU limitations than anything.
Is there some hot air containment or is the whole facility cooled as one? As stated in a previous statement, there is no wall behind those units, its literally a wall of exhaust fans. 100% of the hot air is kicked out of the facility. Impressive! Instead of massive aircraft hangar type DC's, the long, narrow building with wall-o-fans and racks on the long outside walls seems like the most efficient design.

all this talk is making me want to seriously investigate building a data center...
not that i have any miners besides 50 USB sticks...
Left over from the original first group buy? I was in on the second group buy with Canary. Seems like a lifetime ago!

I'm still waiting for my refund that was promised to me more then 3 months ago! My order was cancelled in May but you still shipped it to me 6 months late, I've refused the shipping and you will soon have it back. All I want is my $800 back wire transferred or in BTC so I can quit annoying everyone and spend it on something else. I tried to contact you/minersource multiple times in several ways the last months but I'm constantly being ignored. I'm a paying customer who trusted your company now please do the right thing and send me a refund. I've filled a complaint with the BBB, next step is the FTC, my order ends with ..4732

I obviously didn´t mean to say that the units aren´t sufficiently cooled (or the walls would start melting at such a high density). I only stated that it wasn´t optimised to the fullest extent which I think is a fair comment to make. This can be seen by the empty, not sealed spaces between units, effectively creating "holes" in the hot air containment system (if this exists behind the units, which cannot be seen). If anyone wants to share their unit temperatures inside this facility, feel free to do so. A good example of an optimised hosting facilty can be seen here: http://toom.im/images/three_full_racks.jpgWhen the racks are full (which they are to my knowledge) the lower static pressure caused by the exhaust fans in the hot aisle actually increases airflow through the units, outside air is cooled by evaporative coolers. Jtoomim´s system seems to be a little more complicated but such a high density without any active AC is astonishing. The footprint is smaller and the amount of hosted hardware is higher than in bobsag´s facility. Judging by the damage seen here --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=640010.0 , I'd say Mr. bobSCAMg, packed them in a little too tight.

Yours? It's ZeusMiner / GAWMiners Datacenter Setup. The only problem is none of them are installed nor does the Hashrate at all match what they currently pretend to offer with their Hashlets which are just fake miners that give you Bitcoins based on the thought that you may be able to make that amount of Bitcoin each day and that basicly a Bitcoin is a USD

It depicts a part of the newly added sha miners from GAWminers, the biggest scryptmining cloud service, and one of the bigger sha256 cloudmining services. This datacenter is mainly to provide the sha option for their (previously only) scrypt mining hashlet primes. (They operate multiple "datacenters" and are in the process of building a big one, afaik this isn´t a picture of the big datacenter). They do host two of my S3s though, so who knows, maybe you can see it in this picture (There seems to be at least one more row of S3s behind this one)

Fake hashrate does not mean fake data center. 1PH/s datacenter in hardware ====> super dup to 10PH/s on cloud you guys are weird, the concept is painfully simple. you buy a TH - based on the current difficulty and assuming ideal (zero) variance, your daily payout is very easy to calculate. Thats what the site pays you. If a machine in their farm goes down, they fix it and it has zero impact on your income. If a breaker trips and the farm runs at 80% capacity for several hours - you still receive 100% fixed income for the current difficulty. of course, you could rely on a cloudmining where you 'own' a specific device and any error rates or downtime experienced by the machine or its pool directly decrease your income from the cloudmining. your choice

What will people do when they realize that 90% of it is fake ?

Datacenters and fine and dandy to see but I rather see the home setups and personal rigs, the datacenters are the things killing the local miners.

More pictures and less talking! X11 mining? yeah x11? can you at least make elec or more with such a rig using x11 or just for those who already have equip laying about as a last desperate act to get something out of such a rig?

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

What you are doing with it. My cards are just resting. I am no longer mining with this rig; I don't even have the cards anymore. This is from last year. I miss it and my other GPU rigs so I think I will post pics of old miners like this one from time to time; seems a much better use of this thread than arguing about cloudmining.
