I was just about to comment on that. The fees are just insanely high now that a 0.0007btc purchase is just not worth it and it's a shame because these are nice pieces.
What alt coins will you take? I may have a little Eth and Dash still.
With shipping $7 usd is still high for 1 keychain so i might see if i can get a few others interested in a group buy of 5-10 to make it worthwhile before deciding.
I accept all top alts, please PM me with any altcoin you'd want to pay with. I understand that $7 is high for just 1 keychain, but the shipping cost is fixed at $3 for up-to 10 keychains, & $5 for more than that. So, feel free to buy more.

Plz. everybody. stop circling in the loop.
we get more than what we "invest" or "donate" whatever you call it.
EK spend his invaluable time in this project.
this wording argument is worthless now. we true believer get 100X more from our penny "investment" or "donation"
I am f**king tired of this discussion at this wonderful time.
I'm not arguing. Just pointing out facts. I'm a happy donator.

Alright I'm not complaining about having to wait, but I do want to point out the deal with the "donation". The whole "donation" phrasing came into effect midway through the ico. When I invested into XEL, there was nothing indicating my investment was a donation. Donation disclaimers and country restrictions, among other legal jargon, was not implemented at the start of the sale, when myself, as well as many others, invested their coins.
Same thing happened to me. I invested in XEL before the whole "donation" disclaimers were added to the site. Donation, from my point of view, is a term that got thrown around to protect the creator who went Mia shortly later.
I agree.
This is why I sold my XELs already, because it is just an investment that I had written-off a long time ago. (Pretty happy with the return.) I'm probably going to buy some when it hits the exchanges though.

There is nothing that can compete with Trezor or Ledger Nano S for long term storage, online or offline. Of course these are hardware wallets so they have an initial cost but anyone who is looking to conserve their coins for a really long time need to buy one of these, now with the price of bitcoin this up they only cost about 0.06 for a Trezor even cheaper and about 0.025 a Leder Nano S.
If you can't afford a hardware wallet then paper wallets or any other wallet who supports cold storage like Armory,Electrum etc. I insist on the hardware wallet though because it is a hassle free experience.
From what I can understand, your Trezor wallet is backed by a paper wallet. (The 12 seed words) How does Trezor keep your coins safe in the long term? Wouldn't it be equivalent to creating a securely made paper wallet? (For long term)

Just signed up on their site. Submitted my KYC on 12:15 AM and they rejected my KYC (due to my fault) at 12:25 AM. Took them 10 mins to check my KYC. Would be verified in 10 mins if I hadn't made a mistake. Damn!
Would definitely try the shop with bits feature tomorrow.
As KYC doc, what did they ask for? A photo of the PAN Card. Was kinda weird that they didn't ask for an address proof or something.

Also in regards to cryptoheadds post with"use stop losses", what exactly is stop losses?
It's basically an order that you place on a lower rate than you purchase the coin at to minimize your loss. It "stops" your loss after a particular rate that you choose when placing a stop-loss order. For example: If you buy 1 BTC at $2000 and don't want to bear a loss of more than $200 on your purchase, you can put a stop-loss order at $1800. So, if the price drops down to $1800 or below, your coins will automatically be sold so as to minimize your loss.

These tips are pretty helpful: - Don’t try to guess the top or the bottom: Take profit and use stop losses
- Don’t be a believer: even though some coins might be good long term holds, the big majority of them aren’t. Assume everything is a scam and have a clear exit strategy.
- Check the liquidity of a coin, there are people that are comfortable with coins that have 0.5-1 BTC daily volume. I am not one of those people. Make sure you can enter and exit your position easily.
- Don’t chase pumps, everyone misses trades and that’s fine, just find a setup for your next trade.
- Be critical of everything you read on Twitter: there are some good traders that make good calls but always assume they’re trying to dump their bags on you. DYOR (Do Your Own Research) They only tweet after they already accumulated enough themselves.
- Get some trader friends that you can bounce ideas off. This will take time but is quite important. Don’t expect this to be easy as a newbie, when newbies approach veteran traders the veterans will be extremely distrustful since they all know how many scams there are. Don’t take it personal.

Can be done with Bitpay, through the coinsecure partnership. Their application stack is heavy though, and quite restrictive from what I have seen so far.
We can implement a gateway on our books, but cannot give a window for the payment guarantee, so this will bleed funds from us. Gateways are risky with Bitcoin mainly because of the time window and the guaranteed nature of payments, where orders can't be cancelled if the service provider runs into a loss.
I think he meant using a gateway to buy Bitcoins with debit/credit cards.

I'd recommend using a hardware wallet for daily usage and paper wallet for cold storage. Or, buy a cheap laptop just for storing Bitcoin and alts and use electrum. I use Asus Eeebook, costs around $200.

Which reminds me, I might come over to India soon, could bring some stuff with me I'll keep that in mind. Oh man that hurts didn't think it was that bad. I feel for ya. Haha, it's freaking crazy... We have to pay a duty of 40% on items above INR 2000 (~$30) and 10% below that. (That's the policy) Most of the times, customs don't care enough to charge a duty, which is good.

Well that actually is high. Zebpay, if wants to be a true wallet should allow its users to control their addresses and let them manage their own fee. 5000bits is extremely high for someone who wants the tx to go through slowly.
I don't think they are going to give access to the keys (ever), but they should definitely give an option to let the customer decide their own fee. (Along with some suggested fee options for newbies.) That's way high. Coinsecure charge 0.0001 bits. Another thing on Zebpay is that minimum deposit is Rs. 5000.
Coinsecure should increase the withdrawal fee as 0.0001 is a bit low.

Even with their insurance stuff, would you really feel safe sending such a package? Might be speaking only for myself but if I was going to send/receive a $50k package for example, I'd prefer personal drop-off. Which brings us back to; will there be such an escrow service in the future? Would be fun to see it.
I saw some idea where people get packages in their luggage to move it supercheap worldwide but I'm not too sure about that method. Lol
I agree. For international transactions, I would prefer picking up a $50k package considering the cost of shipping and the damn custom duty. If you get it insured by declaring the value as $50k, you'd have to pay a custom duty of $20k (40%) along with a 5% handling fee here in India. So, the package will cost you more than $70k not even considering the "extra" charges by the government. (If It ever gets delivered) Cheaper (and safer) to just go and pick it up IMO.

I live in Asia and can reship it for you, if you need. It would be better if you can find a trusted member in EU, though.
