321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 01, 2024, 11:06:14 PM
Gabe was not a good trade for the Lakers. And I have heard of the rumor trade from the GSW about releasing Wiggins and  Draymond.
I think that is going to get some good change for the GSW if they will get to trade the two and who are they going to take? I wonder how Dray will feel if he is betrayed like Poole but then, it is a business decision.
322  Economy / Gambling / Re: Powerball btc on: January 01, 2024, 03:36:53 PM
There are casinos that have that already but I do not think encouraging the community to join will help. It just so happen that each of us have preferences.
With what I have seen with powerballs or lotteries, they do not get much attention and if you are the developer of it, you will have difficult time to develop it.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin ETF is not Approved on: December 29, 2023, 11:02:59 PM
I can only see a sudden fall if Bitcoin ETF is not approved and you may as well add your input on this.
Why is that? because of the money that came due to the pre-approval discussions and news? I don't think that it will fall because we've got some corrections already.

However, from now till 2026 will be promising for BTC as there would be favorable outcome. It is a game of patience.
I agree. But on 2026, it's said that based on the cycle, that will be the time that the bear market shall come. And with the next 2 years, with or without the etfs bitcoin will go through a bull run.
324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you ready for crypto investing in 2024? on: December 29, 2023, 06:37:05 PM
Just wanted to touch base and see how your holidays are going. Any significant updates in your portfolio?
Historical data indicates that significant holidays, such as Christmas, tend to bring about noticeable shifts in trading patterns and market sentiments.
Nothing unusual and it just keeps going on because that's how it should be. The 2024 is coming soon and everyone is hopeful to get some better gains.
Historically, Christmas and new years were the days the market is expected to go higher but this time, we are seeing a correction and it's still a normal thing to see.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Replacement for a College Savings Plan on: December 28, 2023, 11:09:43 PM
At this rate, I am seeing that now most corporate companies plan to remove the college degree requirement for jobs, which will transform the college education long term, and its looking like it won't even be needed unless you're going to be a PhD or a Lawyer etc etc.

The traditional mutual fund / 529 plan isn't really needed anymore if college isn't going to be a requirement, but now I am more so just thinking of a life savings plan is a much better and more flexible option. Maybe just set them each up a wallet and load x amount each making quarterly contributions. By the time they are old enough surely they would have more money in that account anyways compared to the mutual fund, right?
The volatility of Bitcoin is an opportunity but at the same time, you're unknown if you'll be able to take it. What if it is not Bitcoin that you're going to load with that plan but your profits from it. With that, you're not going to worry with the volatile that the market will cause.
And at the same time, you have an assurance that you are doing it correctly and that's what will give you the peace of mind that someday the value of it might just be the same, a lil higher or bit lower.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 28, 2023, 09:38:08 PM
Are you sure with the amounts that you are telling us? If I have a friend that has $28M, I'd definitely tell him to invest and manage that wisely. I'd say to buy any car that he prefer but don't forget that he's not just going to live for this day and there's for him tomorrow and in the future. You cannot stop people fulfilling their dreams but giving them a reminder will give them some knocking about the reality. I like friends like this even I will have no benefits from them because seeing someone who's fortunate in life and they're still able to talk to you, that's something else IMO.
327  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Christmas Bonuses - Suggestions Anyone? on: December 28, 2023, 08:39:10 PM
With the choices, having some free slots or spins doesn't have that heavy requirements.
Unlike those that will give you balances whether in bitcoin or any crypto or even their native token, don't expect that they'll just give it to you freely without any conditions.
That's why if there are some free slots or spins, it's better to take that but who cares when you are eligible to most of them?

329  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: December 28, 2023, 07:51:16 PM
Just as a boat without a purpose cannot reach its destination, without proper planning no success to work achieved. If a small entrepreneur wants to start a business, if there is a mistake in his planning and decision, he may end up in failure. Again, this can be the case for bad behavior with customers. In the case of offline busines, misplacing the business location can also result in failure  your business. If an entrepreneur is not focused on the business and has no patience, it is not uncommon for his to business fail. I think small entrepreneurs, if they can use their hard work, brainpower and planning properly. Only then business failure of small traders can be avoided.
And from these failures, that's how businessmen learn. No one's going to tell them when they will fail but they can see the signs of it.
And with these experiences, if they're going to continue their business, they know how to avoid failure when they see the signs since they're able to experience it before.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Swap. Why and when you do swap your coins? on: December 27, 2023, 11:38:25 PM
Recently I found out about swapping possibilities in the desktop app of my cold wallet. I kind of understand what is the swap however still not sure my understanding is correct. Hence few questions regarding swapping of coins:

1. Why would you swap one coin to another?
2. When do you decide to do it? Like what is the indicator that swap can be profitable?
3. Do you use CEX or DEX? Or some wallet?
4. What if you don't have a pair on a CEX? Do you convert to USD/USDT and buy another coin?
5. What are risks usually related to swapping?
6. Any advice you would want to share with beginners?

thanks.

1. Because I need it.
2. When I need it and when I want to sell, usually.
3. Both. Those wallets that have integrated exchanges, I had no problem with them.
4. Yes, that's what I'll mostly do.
5. Not that much at all but just the fees and expect that you'll receive lesser than the amount you'll trade.
6. Just explore and experience it but be wary of what to use and stick to the known ones as you start.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: How to gain money on: December 26, 2023, 09:58:43 PM
There's no instant money.
There are I think two ways, winning the lottery and inheritance but this doesn't come very often.
Like everyone is saying about business, investment, getting a job, or getting something to do in exchange of money.
332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Finally I listened, proudly a hardware wallet owner on: December 26, 2023, 08:46:12 PM
Thanks for your replies guys, the hardware wallet came with extra MasterCard like card where I can safely write down my recovery seed and keep somewhere safe, I thought it was not necessary until I read some replies on here, it's possible that damages can happen to the hardware wallet and my recovery seed is the only way I can get access to my funds again, acknowledged, thanks for the advice.
It is necessary to keep card as that's where you'll write your recovery words but if you prefer to write it somewhere else, it is your preference.
But with that card, it's actually sturdy as long as kept properly and won't get crumpled. So, it depends on how you keep it and I'll say it just as the others have told it.
Congrats!
333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you use platforms offering AI help for crypto trading in 2024? on: December 26, 2023, 07:44:40 PM
Hi guys! Happy holidays! Just wanted to know if you're planning on using AI bots and such technologies to boost your crypto profits in 2024. And now that I'm talking about this, I'm curious if you've already started to use AI for taking trades.
Why not?
If these ai bots are going to help me win more of my trades why not? As long as there is a testimony from other genuine users that they've been helped.
And they're able to make more winnable trades then I'd give it a try and much better if they're for free.  Cheesy
334  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: December 25, 2023, 11:41:49 PM
Naturally, I think it should be left to a matter of preference. It seems to me that it is impossible for all vehicles to become electric at the moment, that is, it is a dream, but the majority of electric vehicles may be in use. Not every country will comply with this law, and even if such a law is passed.
That's true, there will be more countries that will on it if they've got a lot of roads that are set for these EVs but if not, diesel/unleaded cars will remain.

They say that the batteries of electric vehicles will last more than 20 years. We are just at the beginning. Will these batteries be as durable as they say? If all production switches to electric vehicles, there will also be a battery shortage.
Not all of them are durable. I've heard people had troubles with their batteries and it will cost them almost a brand new tesla to replace the battery alone.
335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is leading crypto exchanges in 2024? on: December 25, 2023, 10:40:27 PM
You mistakenly included MCPAY in your rating of the best cryptocurrency exchanges, since it is not one.
He didn't but he did on a purpose because he's part of the exchange so basically while praising other genuine top exchanges, he had to include his one so that people will be curious about it and I guess he successfully did it. I am not sure if this has made me want to use them but I'd still stick to the other ones he mentioned as the top exchanges because I've been using Binance for so long and liking it more than the others.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally I did it (I am happy to join). on: December 25, 2023, 09:44:40 PM
Wow this is huge and congratulations on your first bitcoin! Keep holding and stacking and always hold the long term growth vision in mind. It is quite a roller coaster to be a bitcoiner, it won't be easy but it'll be worth it!
Yeah, enjoy the roller coaster because this is where emotions are going to fill him but don't be moved when he's caught with that.
Congrats to OP and do more accumulation in time because when the halving comes, it's worth it that you've decided to start.
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is hard!!! on: December 25, 2023, 08:31:20 PM
I would say that someone who is not patient enough should not be venture into trading.
Yes.
Trading isn't for the impatient people and if you don't have this, you better stop trading because this is going to be the major fall down of that trader when he can't be patient at all times.
The market is volatile and so rapid but as a trader, with those factors you need to remember on how you should apply patience for all of your trades.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: How to gain money on: December 24, 2023, 11:30:09 PM
You can start an online blog or mow your neighbors yard.
What an algorithm.
These mowing videos of neighbors backyard for free have been showing on my feed. They are being offered for free but he'll make videos of it.
Still, he makes money from the videos even if the guys that are popping on my feed mows their neighbors for free.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 24, 2023, 07:44:43 PM
too expensive?

its a value worth it, and you can always get less than one
True.
He's got money to buy but don't want to because that thinking of his is stopping him to buy in fractions.
Remember OP that you don't have to buy a one whole bitcoin but you can always buy less than that and in cheaper quantities.
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Working out Risk on a Trade on: December 24, 2023, 05:55:14 PM
I'm on the spot market and not using Leverage.

I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to trade with around $2000 and yet still make a decent amount on every trade, instead of just pennies if I risk 1%. I'm currently looking at small moves on the 1m chart while scalping.

Is there a better way to do this?

What are my options?

JH
Just as you've said, you are on the spot market and you don't do leverage. To have better way if you're for the profit, you can use leverage.
But I don't advise that if you're so new to it and that can potentially burn your money if you don't know how to move properly with your trades there.
