Is anyone getting a problem when entering the site, like you need to refresh 2 times in order for the site to load and work fine?

Site offline?

-------------------
Maintenance info
-------------------
We will launch another update within 24 hours, the site will be under maintenance and might get down around 1 - 5 pm GMT+0. One of the upcoming feature is responsive design for mobile. Stay tuned guys!

Site was down occasionally for maintenance few minutes ago, but we're already back to action by now. Please try to refresh the page if you encounter a white/blank page.

Thank you for your patience guys!

there seems to be a problem with chrome after the update. the page stays white even after refreshing, deleting cookies etc. accessing the site through another browser works fine.

Anyone got experience how support is responding on Satoshi Dice regarding investment questions related to my account there? I sent mail to support more then 7 hours ago and still no answer Sad. I have blocked my Bitcoins there. Hope that they will solve my problem fast.

It appears to be a connectivity issue to the API. We are trying to find out the issue. A quick workaround might be to browse the site in a device that uses another internet connection. Sorry about the trouble!

I am not sure if we talking about the same problem now. I explain my issue in the mail I sent to your support (at) satoshidice.com. I include my account and User id information there. If you can speed up the resolution then I will be happy.

Edit - yes I understand now. When I log in from another computer I can see my correct ballance.

Thank you

PS: I would anyway preffer to be contacted by support with at least information they are working on my request.

We are double checking too see exactly what happened and will get back to you asap!

There is no use emailing them. A few months ago, I send a few emails. Well, never replied yet.  Undecided
Well, it is fixed now. So, np.
Just post on the thread or PM him. It is more likely to be responded.

I have invested in the bankroll. Can you sign the cold wallet address please? It will at least help people to trust the site.

Thanks Smiley

Yes we are setting up public cold storage addresses. https://blockchain.info/address/18e5jpfn9zo9GQov1Ks9Pzh6Yam2SvFqqo is the only address I have available from here.

but thats not even 50% of the claimed current br... just for my understanding: the br displayed on site is external investors only or also includes your own funds?

Correct, this is funds that is actually invested. We have 700 in cold storage that we are making public and signing hopefully later today.

not sure if you got my question correctly or at least I'm not fully understanding your answer regarding my question.

is the total cold storage 700BTC (including the 300BTC you already showed)? also, does the bankroll that is displayed on site include your(satoshidice's) own funds too?

Now there's 700 in the public cold storage. There's also the hot wallets and transaction wallets, but we will only make a cold storage that matches current investments public. This is to prove that we can pay out current investments if investors wish to withdraw them. The bankroll displayed for the session game is only from investors.

got it, thanks!  Smiley

I still can't find any trace of signed cold wallet, while you claim to have some kind of multi sig cold storage in place (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77870.msg11014694#msg11014694).

care to share this finally to prove your solvency?
327  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Dice - Invest in the Bankroll! on: April 04, 2015, 08:15:56 AM

Dont deposit to this site! Their system is down or its a scam site.

ive got no problem in the site now.

Dont deposit to this site! Their system is down or its a scam site.

they are not a scam site, almost a year up and running,  many people(including me) play there and we are experiencing great in the site having 0.5% HE.. if you have proof of it being a scam site, you can post in Scam Accusation section

I think his just pissed losing 3btc and then depositing some bitcoins to recover the losses

chill gang, all good now, gamblingbad got his deposit and managed to win his coins back  Cheesy

it was a really bad timing for the site to go down as gb tried it for the first time. so I totally get that he was a bit pissed.

oh btw, I don't think the site is up almost a year by now, should be rather almost half a year imo.

have some nice easter holidays everyone!

331  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.ME - CRYPTO CASINO - DICE - BLACKJACK - >100BTC MAX PROFIT - 1 YEAR OLD on: March 25, 2015, 12:41:09 PM
Why was it overlooked that the admin gave away over 1/10th of the bankroll?

Seems pretty serious but nobody is taking any notice.

are you talking about the max profit per bet? I don't know what you mean..

i think he's talking about the incident yesterday. if so, I'm pretty sure the admin made a post on here, saying he's covering the loss. wait, gonna search for it.

I already got someone doing it for me, I'd rather stay anon in case someone tries to compromise my account for my BTC

Ok, Rexxludi is authorized to add it and he doesn't need any password.. just the username of the account
Just go on the safedice.com chat and ask for Rexxludi if he can enable investing, he will help you out Smiley

all done  Smiley

I was having a play on your site and ran into the variable house edge quite a few times, which sort of annoyed me and raised the question, how big is your bank roll??

If I'm hitting the variable house edge (which isn't very common for my balance) then the sites bank roll must not be to large.

Have you considered taking investments in your site? Or is it still frowned upon in your current stance in the community

hi there, the current bankroll consists of various investors and is ~116btc right now.

the variable HE adjusts to the size of the bet placed. but youre right, compared to some other sites the br is still small and the varaiable HE right now is likely killing off high martingalers.

will answer your question about investing in a pm, since it was decided to not make any advertisement for it on here Wink

2 months ago:
[...] The emission is still pretty high [...]
At that time we had: ~17000 daily emission * 0.30$ = $5,100
And you called it "high"

Now:
[...] At this point the fiat price is so low and the emission in terms of fiat is so slow [...]
We currently have: ~16000 daily emission * 0.80$ = $12,800
And you call it "slow".

Last time I checked, 12,800 is greater than 5,100.
Since you're openly contradicting yourself, I question the entire legitimacy of your posts here. I believe 100% of them are purely self-serving, even if that may harm others reading. That surely harms the S/N ratio here.
The thread is about "speculation", not about "plain contradiction".
Your posts are not serving any other purpose than helping yourself and your current position, so try at least to do that more effectively. Hint: being consistent might help.

Not clear enough?

2 months ago:
[...] The big price increase will take place most likely after 6-12 months from now so we have plenty of time to buy coins until that. [...]

Now:
[...] it is actually quite alarming sign if the price do not move fast. [...]

I too find his posts decreasing the signal/noise ratio.  Self serving and borderline SPAM.

just put him on ignore, guys. I've done that after seeing his first posts in the polo trollbox a while ago and til this day never had the feeling of missing something  Grin

-Chart for user Sabotage's profit...

very lucky mate!!

fantastic.

It is like the house edge is for him, not against him

He's using martingale, and he did it really well! I don't really check, but I'm confident he'll got different result if the house edge is not 0.5% Cheesy

the house edge of 0.5% is great, difference is at 50% chance it payout at 1.99x and if the house edge is 1 %, 50% chance payout is 1.95x, which is a huge difference IMO  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
hope admin will fix it soon, that is huge difference between payout and the 0.50% house edge.

fix  Huh I'm a bit puzzled about your statement
340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocoins-Dice.com | BTC XRP XMR XMG DOGE | Play Invest Leverage Faucet on: March 03, 2015, 12:46:11 PM
I don't understand the leverage, can you explain it in an easy way?

i think its more like of a kelly

yes, it's like changing the kelly criterion. by setting a leverage between 0-100x you basically declare that you have more coins offline willing to invest. thus changing your percentage of the sites effective invested bankroll and the percentage of your own invested br youre willing to risk on each players roll. greater risk if players are lucky but also greater reward on players losses.
