321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: November 22, 2019, 09:14:38 AM
Reasons why i prefer mining coins than investing a dime on IEO/ICO projects
1. My profits is assured.
I dont have to wait for a project to do x3 or whatsoever to get profits on my invested cash, with better mining rigs and good calculator you will know when your ROI will come.

2. No worries of getting scammed
I dont have to investigate an exchange before investing or wasting time doing research on projects before investing, all i do is mine ETH and sell for fiat or decides to hold for a little while.

When compared with the many scam projects now, it is better to do mining than by investing in a new project that is not certain and we must set aside time to observe about the project, how the team behind it and whether the project can run as planned. But for mining, not everyone can do it, and before mining, these people also need to know and learn what mining is.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the alternate plan - second option on: November 22, 2019, 05:12:01 AM
There is big expectation among each and every cryptocurrency investor regarding the year 2020. We don't know what we gonna experience precisely, all that's been made is out of comparisons and price predictions with several references and related positive and negative news around.

By 2020 if the market doesn't move as most of the experts predicted and experience to move in the opposite direction. What is the alternate plan or the second option you've kept prepared to minimize the loss and keep up the value almost same on the portfolio.

By those instance what will be the choice of selection. Over which cryptocurrencies you'll plan to move your investments. I personally haven't got much of holding, if something happens against prediction only way is to move towards stablecoins.
Based on the predictions of many people, many say that 2020 will be a promising and profitable year for many people who are in cryptocurrency, but that is only a prediction and what will happen later we do not know, maybe it can happen and maybe it will not happen . And I personally certainly have prepared my plans for the future by starting to invest in a few coins to hold for a long period of time and when what happens later does not go as expected maybe I will move the investment that I do or I will cut losses I get to minimize greater losses.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: November 21, 2019, 02:15:01 PM
The best time to promote bounties are on altcoins season ,if you are tired of one delay after the other just quit till altcoins season returns ,this is the reason why 2017 was the best year for bounty hunters
I think anytime is a good time to promote the project bounty, but if we compare it to 2017 it is clearly different but it doesn't mean that this year we are not doing anything and waiting for the altcoin season to come again, however I personally always look for opportunities or at least try to continue to be able to benefit from cryptocurrency even though the possibility is small but I believe that what I do can give good results.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: November 21, 2019, 06:38:22 AM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?
Of course many people who want the ICO project to turn into a scam get punish because it has harmed many people and made those people worry or hesitate to start investing again. But I don't think there is anything that can be given to projects that turn into scams and this will indeed make us hesitate to invest, but we can have the experience and a little knowledge to at least compare these scam projects with projects that we will follow back to later.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: November 21, 2019, 05:05:25 AM
Investing in something that we don't know about at all is a mistake. Indeed, sometimes we have to do things our own way, but if we don't know how to do to be able to at least survive and possibly be able to make a profit in cryptocurrency we need to know and understand how to do it by asking our friends to teach us how to or perhaps by asking for advice from others.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: November 20, 2019, 03:33:13 PM
From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Missing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.
I agree with what you say that many scam projects are slowly killing other projects that want to develop their projects and make their projects run until they are successful. The number of scam projects has made investors hesitant to invest in new projects that require investors to develop the projects they bring. So I think something is needed that can make the interest of investors to invest in new projects re-emerge.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 20, 2019, 12:20:40 PM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.
If we see it is better to invest in BTC than altcoin. But it is true that bitcoin has a limited amount and everyone must have a strategy to continue to survive in cryptocurrency. And I personally still believe that the altcoin season can happen again and benefit many people.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: November 20, 2019, 08:48:18 AM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

I don't think it's easy to prevent a project scam. The existence of an ICO project is to get funds or to attract investors to want to invest in the project and later the funds are used to develop the project, if the project can go according to plan and succeed then we will also get the results. So I think it all depends on the decisions we make based on the observations we make, don't rush in assessing a project, know more details about the project before making a decision.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 20, 2019, 07:14:39 AM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?
If you just want to save your money into cryptocurrency then a stable coin I think is the right choice for you. But, for me if you can take a little of that money to invest in cryptocurrency and you can make a profit, I think this is actually a better choice, maybe you can use some of your money for you to invest in a few coins that you think might give You profit, so you can not only save your money but you can also benefit from it.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: November 19, 2019, 03:33:19 PM
They just create some kind of hype once or twice in a month or week and make their profit with fake exchanges and forget about it, I am talking about the developers of those kind of altcoins which are not performing and these are totally waste for crypto market and also creating confusion for new people who are entering in crypto world so what's your opinions. Useless altcoins must be remove from crypto market if it happens then it would be great and very beneficial for crypto world.
What you say is true that coins that have no value must be removed. But the question is how to eliminate it and who determines the coin is shitcoin which must be removed or not. I think the existence of a coin like this is a lesson for investors not to rush into investing and really observe in detail about the coins to be bought so that they do not experience failure that results in losses.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 19, 2019, 10:16:48 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
I don't really remember if I had participated in a project that added extra weeks to the bounty campaign. For me personally this will certainly make many people participating will feel that this project is not finished and they will feel that it is just a waste of time. But, maybe there is a separate reason why the project is getting longer, maybe also so that the project can achieve what has been targeted right and if the project is successful we will also feel the results.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: November 18, 2019, 08:49:44 PM
As an investor or bounty hunter, you have dedicated either your funds or time for a pjoject and it turns out to be a fail project, what next?

Many at times we have come across this situations and I see a lot of negative posts from different bodies about this projects, y? Because people are hurt and have lost precious time and capital.

I suggest that whenever this situations arise, rather than telling the whole world how you messed up, tell yourself never again and pick up your pieces, go back to the drawing board and never repeat 🔂 that same action that lead you to following and supporting a failed / scam project in the first place.

Beware guys!
Of course, when we participate in a project and the project fails, we will feel disappointed because what we get or what we expect does not match the reality and we will feel that what we are doing is just useless because if the project has had success of course we will also get results that are arguably good and profitable but when the project fails it will be something we really don't want to get and we repeat.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: November 18, 2019, 01:09:13 PM
I have $ 500 or more, is that enough to invest or trade daily ??  Do I need to buy cheap coins or expensive coins?  I want your opinion for me as a newbie.

Of course it's enough, but before you decide to buy coins to invest or to use in trading, you should at least understand how to trade well and not just buy coins to trade. You can see a chart of market movements to decide which coins you think have the potential to make a profit and you also have to estimate at what point you will buy and sell coins.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: November 18, 2019, 10:53:51 AM
Some people have been bounty hunters for a long time (e.g, for the past 2 or3 years) and till now, they are still on the act of hunting for more altcoins.
It is true that the reward hunters now get is so small compared to what was obtainable 2 to 3 years ago and not only that, it now takes more time to be paid than it was. So, instead of complaining, why not through some of the experience you have got, since your sojourn in the crypto space, explore other means through which you can earn more and fill your portfolio.

N.B:
This might be like  a vital information. There are lots of projects that did bounty campaigns (although not all), which have decided to extent the time of payment of tokens to their bounty participants. Whose tokens are growing tremendously after listing on exchange. Which means that traders and investors of projects like these get their profits before bounty hunters are paid.

DISCLAIMER:: Although, this is not an investment advice, but an observation, which i have decided to call your attention to.
It is true, right now the gifts from the bounty are very different when compared to a few years ago. But this is indeed a natural thing when seeing the bounty is currently not so profitable compared to a few years ago, many of which failed and scam projects may be the influence that makes it difficult to attract investors and cause the project can not achieve the targets they want.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: November 18, 2019, 07:28:41 AM
Note: This is not about how to identify good coins to HODL
This is about how you can be a good long term holder

1. You must have another source of income
Either in crypto space or outside crypto space you must have other source of income, there was a time when i used to rely on coins i hold for monthly income but most time they failed me because some altcoins takes more than a month to add value. You can learn trading or find a better job to get constant income for your daily needs.

2. Not all altcoins are good for long term holding
Some altcoins are too weak to have better value overtime, these coins only add value to price once in a blue moon,WHY?because the power of demand is too low and they have no working product,i belief that working product is what makes a coin have many more investors

3.HODL Only Altcoins With Real Use Case
There are different categories of coins with use cases, many use case are weak use case, for example using fashion  designer to back a token is a weak use case to me because it means you can only use the token to buy the designer wears and many will call this a real use case? no it wont do very well.
Make sure that the real use case of every altcoins you hold will be very reasonable, the products backing them up must be something that is different and will catch the eye of investors, the usefulness  must be outstanding .

4. Stay Updated Always
Opportunity comes but once as many know it,so always stay updated about crypto, read crypto news online and keep tracks on your altcoins so that you wont miss future updated or even token swaps, some altcoins i hold have already switched to MainNet and im glad i dont missed the opportunity, you can use blockfolio app to track your altcoins.

Altcoin season is what many are waiting for, even new projects are waiting for altcoin season to return before they get listed on exchanges,im sure of one thing and that is good things dont come easily, today is bitcoin turn to reign and one day altcoins will have its day as well.

The things you say are indeed needed to prepare a long-term investment. Do not just depend on the investment you make, because sometimes we need other income for at least we use it in trading in order to get income and do not rush in choosing coins to invest in the long term and continue to observe updates or news about the coins you invest.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom on: November 17, 2019, 08:07:40 PM
I think everyone has their reasons why they sometimes choose to sell their coins when the price is very bottom. In my opinion, maybe because at that time they were in dire need of money so they decided to sell their coins despite being in the lowest position or maybe there were other reasons or strategies they had prepared so that they were selling the coins.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project to invest. on: November 17, 2019, 05:33:59 PM
How to choose a good investment project
I understand that many of us do not suggest investing in ICO but I have to say not every ICO scam, invest in IEO no matter  the  exchange is, it is better than investing in ICO.
However, these steps help to judge the project.
1.   The team behind the project, it is extremely important to see who guides the project, experiments, are they able to implement the road map.
2.   The idea of the project, what the project solve, is the project can change something or introduce something new.
3.   What has been done and are there any steps the team is taking to prove credibility.
4.   Is the project is ICO or IEO, IEO will be better.
5.   How many exchanges the project listing.
6.   The type of the exchanges(however this is not issues as some project cannot go with top exchanges, top exchanges required a lot money).
7-     check (twitter, facebook, telegram, website metrics).
8-     It will be good if the project has ann on bitcointalk forum.
9-     Pay attention to what the team promised, it should not be far from reality or promises to enrich or quick profit (such as 200% profit).
10-   Look for old project in the market at least 3 month old.

Some of the points you said are indeed needed to be considered before participating in a new project. Do not rush in participating in a project, we need to observe how the project, how the team behind it, what the project will do to continue to grow and achieve success, we must pay attention to a few things in detail about the project.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: November 17, 2019, 11:52:43 AM
Why do you think that everyone is afraid that some of the new projects
some people without doing any research,    They despise a project, which makes other people agree.
is this lack of literacy in the study makes them fail ?
Does this lack of information bring down a project, that MAY have a bright future ?
If we see, there are indeed many people who participate in a new project without doing research first and they only participate in the project based on what others say. So I think, when that person gets a project that doesn't go according to plan and fails it's better to judge ourselves, what makes us make those mistakes and how we can minimize them on what we will do next.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 17, 2019, 09:25:13 AM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?
When compared to 2017, of course it's very different from what is happening now. Perhaps because of the many scam projects that make investors become hesitant to start investing in a project because they do not want to get a loss from the investment they make. Maybe investors now prefer to wait for the right moment to invest in a project.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: November 17, 2019, 07:20:15 AM
I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...
If starting from scratch, everything must be built slowly and cannot be quickly, different if you have enough capital to invest it will be easier to build your own portfolio. For me, you can join the bounty project and collect little by little the results you get from running the bounty and then use the money from the bounty to buy coins that you think are good and have the potential.
