Over a year of Development, a launch 6 months late, and we have a coin that you can't do anything with you can't get with nxt, or any other coin for that matter, if that doesn't change quickly we'll see 50 sats soon. Do I hear the 50 sats apocalypse again? Well, keep trying, maybe someone will sell.  I know your trying to spin it like I am done kind of fud spreading whale to take the heat off you guys but the fact is where we stand is we have a currency that works, but we literally can NOT so anything with it, it it's literally and laterally the same as 100's of other coins. Dear God please prove me wrong, then I would eat crow and be a happy investor, right now my nem is worth nothing and many of us are sliding into the red. |

Oh man get ready for 50 sats...  Getting ready... and hoping it will get to that low level... I really want to buff up my position before the new features start arriving... It will get there once the second/third late phasers start dumping, then the market drowns and we stay in this range indefinitely, only time will tell if marketing/features/product can overcome. |

Well, I have still my nem stake in the nxt asset exchange cause I was ill for a while and could not check my computer. As I've read in the nem forums there is a way to redeem my stake until the end of May. The developers wanted to publish a portal which allows us to redeem. However they said on 04/01 that it will be ready within two days. Is anyone uptodate? Is this portal online? Thanks!

Why do we need 2 nem reddit pages?
From what I gather someone started their own NEM sub considering this is a community and not dictated by a single entity or special interest group, developers, or special interest group, want control over subreddit, owner/creator says no because this is the New Economy Movement that belongs to the community not a special interest group that has an agenda, developers hungry for control to fulfill their agenda start their own subreddit so they can dictate what happens there. Some "movement" huh? I have seen this with many coins, Want to see how this ends? Check out Reddcoin. No, pretty sure the guy who started the first nem subreddit wouldn't give anyone else administrative access other than himself - so the NEM marketing team decided to make their own subreddit. It's all pretty stupid anyways. I think having a third party in place is good for trust. When the developers start to control the situation that leaves a door open for trouble. |

Sorry to break this to you but the reason the price is dropping is cause this coin has very little real future not trading tricks. Im not saying that to be a dick Im saying it cause there are many coins like this, better ones even with far less marketcap. If this coin deserves to be in the top 10 of market cap then Qora does too. I don't expect that to happen either. If I went to some old Bitcoin forum from 2009 - 2012, there were probably countless posts throughout the years from whiners and other lunatics and yet nobody today remembers or cares about them. There are some coins that just went through an UI update but lipstick on a pig is still a pig and it's just hiding the lack of other development. NEM's ecosystem doesn't exist (what do you it expect it just came out) but there's no such thing as a coin out there with equal or better core mechanics. NEM has NIS, NCC, Eigentrust++, PoI and was the result of professional test-driven development. While I agree, if this great development never gets utilized by the masses it was all in vain. And right now it feels like a big BTCT circlejerk. There is no hype elsewhere. Jeffrey Robinson himself has written a book on bitcoin (even uses the word hype in the deceiving sense) and it is inspirational to anybody who wants to take BTC or Crypto viral. I would also recommend Butt Coin subreddit on Reddit (mostly for a laugh but some posts can be really enlightening). Both that book and subreddit tells you what the problems are and once you know the problems then you can rectify some solutions. The principle issue, for me at least, here is a lack of product. Sure there's countless middle men who want to take your butts and take a finder's fee on it, e.g., Coinbase and BitPay, but there is no actual product for the 7 billion people on the planet. In fact, beyond Alt Nemo and NODEpay (and the 17 year olds selling their t-shirts), there doesn't seem to be any initiatives aimed at product creation which people need. Hmmm very interesting/intriguing point to the discussion. Thanks for that. |

There are many coins with their new "EDGY gimmick" PoI, VoI, NoI, PoSV, etc etc... 30-70 sats is a realistic range for this coin especially after they doubled the supply A F T E R investors had already bought in which is just a big "Fuck you" to all those who invested, making the rules up as we went along. I think this coins may stick around, but don;t expect more than 50-99 satd realistically, as long as your happy in this range than stick around, if you want to see a price rise, keep browsing. doubling the supply had literally zero effect on the value of each stake because each and every stake was increased by exactly the same amount so it had no effect on anyone except the fact you see a bigger number. before the increase users had 1/4000 of all coins.. and after.. they had 1/4000 of all coins... where is the issue here? No issue at all just pointing out the market saturation of NEM, and it will continue to saturate/flood as post stake redemption continues. I am just confident we won;t see much rise in value from where we are now, which is fine, I just want to point out I do not believe we will see any considerable rise in value. This is a reasonable price for XEM (50-125 BTC) and this is where it will settle indefinitely. |

Price will come guys, give it time, we are still consolidating. We have just started! I love how this comes up in E V E R Y thread haha. Supply is huge and ever increasing, we wont see anything until another few months and "distribution" is "complete" I am thinking 70 sats is a realistic price compared to similar coins and we will soon see saturation. NEM has no marketing, and came to the party way late, lack of media/marketing strategy is what hurts the worst. I will be surprised if we see over 150 sats ever again. But I wouldn't be sorry if I was wrong, but doubtful. |
