hi all I just saw this coin when I try to start the bat file I get this error "unable to open darkcoin.cl or ,/kernel/darkcoin.cl for reading failed to init gpu thread 0" my settings are: sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum.mine-coin.de:3372 -u xxx -p 1 -w 256 -I 18 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1090 --thread-concurrency 8193 --gpu-threads 2 --temp-target 72 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-80 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-cutoff 90 --queue 0 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 using sgminer 4.1.271 with no config file please help  do you have the darkcoin version of sgminer? the regular version won't work. http://darkcoin.io/downloads/darkcoin-sgminer-windows.zip+1 Yeah. The windows binary site isn't hosting the sph copy since the new 4.1.271 release. |

Dev said they were going to talk to have an open community discussion about stopping the halving after 6 months, so the block reward would remain stable at 1.5625 - which would have blocks producing rewards (+fees) for 9 years. |

Difficulty is a bit too high to solo mine now. Best off joining a pool. I mean sgminer for pool since I cant set it up What's your mining setup? IE What gfx card(s) are you using? |

thanks for mining these great coins for me. just bought 5000. what a bargain. sure is easier to just buy them than mine them. +1 been getting some myself at 3500(so cheap) Seriously. I can't believe how hard people are dumping this now when they're going to be so much harder to get in a reasonably little amount of time. What happens in when block rewards hit 12.5 in 3 months, when the loyal community base has had time to build up an infrastructure around this coin and promote it, and people start to realize that they almost missed the boat and start mining the hell out of it because in 3 more months after that block rewards are only 1.5625... and nobody can claim pre-mine because it's been out there for the taking the whole time. Nothing's a sure thing, and with altcoins everything's a risk. But this coin has some potential that the daily pump & dump trashcoin doesn't, and for that reason I think it's at least worth the risk of holding for a while, if not holding and helping. Just my 0.02 mBTC. |

Then, if I'm not wrong, with the same difficulty, reward will be higher after block 2000  agree. i see that too. better don't mine until block 2000. good luck on low reward and see you again in block 2000 P/S: lowest reward from now to 2000 is 1 coin per block. enjoy ! If nobody mine now it will be never a block 2000.  Somebody is going to mine it. If there's a huge drop in miners, rewards are going to go up. Just the way it's written. |

Thanks! But this is not a solution. Without a working Windows wallet or a Mac wallet this coin will die. I offered to contribute to a bouty for developing Mac wallet but never heard anything. These issues need to be urgently addressed. I know the DEV well and i can assure you he is hard at work trying to solve the problem, so hard in fact that he hasn't even stopped by to update us. Yes I do apologise. Our dev has had a terrible day. At any rate he has managed to fix the windows wallet. Here's the fix. 1. Delete everything in "C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Appdata\Roaming\LogiCoin\" except wallet.dat 2. Delete previous wallet 3. Download https://mega.co.nz/#!VtpBha4A!B4TiggIs2GCPb8tg7bvmbfx4aa6Qyiw-ub13nhO3wcQ 4. Run. That should fix it up. Make sure not to delete your wallet.dat but you can delete everything else, There's no need for logicoin.conf any more. Thank you!! |

Oh~ good work. I will remove my repo i have a quick question that i should probably post in another topic, but what the hell. does each node get it's own block or does it share share blocks with the other nodes? just wondering if i setup my own node and i'm the only one mining on it, would that be just the same as solo mining. All the linked P2Pools share blocks. |

Ended up installing linux in a vmware instance and building logicoind there, then just copied the most recent blockchain across. *shrug*
