321  Other / Meta / Re: Is there a way to discover which report was not accurate? on: March 15, 2018, 04:30:08 PM
Not unless you ask a mod. I'll check for you.

Edit: Looks like it might have been incorrectly handled. It was for this report: "The post appears to be extracted from thiis post on Quora". The account seems to have been nuked so not sure why it was marked as bad. Could have just been an accident but I wouldn't worry about having one or two reports marked as bad.

Nice info.

Though I didn't report anyone for anything from the beginning of my time in the community.
I just let the ninja member to do all the actions needed to lessen the report status.
I've been using the patrol link like a ninja sometimes.

Am I doing anything wrong?
322  Other / Meta / Re: My conspiracy theory about spammers on: March 15, 2018, 03:35:46 PM
they should pay a fee.

How much fee they should pay?
I think it is very hard or complicated to enforce the idea, they just can't.

For them a single satoshi is a satoshi save, just like satoshi intended it to be, he would not round up the 21millionBTC if he didn't reckon that a single satoshi wouldn't going to have a price in the future. 1:1 satoshi to dollar. Roll Eyes
323  Other / Meta / Re: My conspiracy theory about spammers on: March 15, 2018, 11:45:55 AM
There's nothing we can do about it.
You can still Private Message each other though and to further enhance the security PGP is all over the place this nullius spam the community with great details of knowledge.

The information is still surviving in the depth of discord.
324  Economy / Services / Re: 📯⭐📯CRYPTOON PUZZLES - COINFESTUK COMPETITION 📯⭐📯 on: March 15, 2018, 09:12:22 AM
I'm not a designer in image, but I would like to participate.

What is the needed dimension for this image? 1000px to 1000px? to make sure my image is of great quality.

Thanks God there was an extension of the deadline.
I can't find the right time to start the initial drawing in paper, not everything is granted though.

Good luck everyone.
325  Other / Meta / Re: How do I see it? on: March 14, 2018, 04:35:19 PM
Very cool, thank you very much. Since you have the legendary rank and I have only 3 spendable merits, I will give it to a more needy person if you do not mind Smiley

You can roam around in this thread to look for that needy person you think. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0

P.S Of course s/he doesn't mind are you out of your mind? The person you're talking is the main responsibility is to help the community progress/function as intended and not to beg for merit.

Every merit send to you was subtracted by half of course you would only have 3sendable merit, cause you only received 6merit of it.
326  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Merit Phase 2 - Drain the Swamp (@theymos) on: March 14, 2018, 04:20:01 PM
If Theymos implements rules, he then needs to enforce them.  :/

We need more moderators!

Then hire more eligible moderators.
If it would help the forum certain laws/rules need to be brought in stage.
327  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Merit Phase 2 - Drain the Swamp (@theymos) on: March 14, 2018, 10:49:36 AM
Yes it could be implemented I remember back then that I wasn't able to wear a signature for at least a weeks.
If those persons haven't receive a single merit there's a possibility that those individual is only posting without even reading the thread or the topic of discussion.

So it would mean that those person is only using the forum for their own interest.
328  Other / Meta / Re: No - My account wasn't compromised .. lol xD - koshgel troll return - on: March 14, 2018, 08:34:30 AM
Even I was a trolled in the neutral feedback according to KWH look at my trust and you can see KWH neutral feedback to me.
Of course certain measure need to take place however what's done is done.

Fortunately enough no one is threatening or doxing me.
329  Other / Meta / Re: Include a user's merit page on the left beside the post like how Trust is linked on: March 14, 2018, 08:15:41 AM
Unless you are looking for a competitive person in the field of something it can truly give an employer of such convenient.
But as Joel_Jansten said this is rather a personal gain/interest.

You can always click open thread in new tab.
330  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Raise merit requirements at the lower and highest ranks (@theymos) on: March 14, 2018, 08:02:22 AM
For Christ sake the thread was leading nowhere now.
Open a new thread for signature campaign and posting quality this is not the purpose of this thread.

Signature ad is not a problem in meta section holly molly, at the end of the day we all still talk about getting paid in posting and camp manager is incompetent there's no way it is a problem of this community.

but actmyname is correct they shouldn't be paid for a job they can't suffice/handle.
331  Other / Meta / Re: Introduce a "Up vote & Down vote" system instead of the "Merit" system on: March 13, 2018, 08:04:04 PM
It is about time we differentiate forum in a social media.

Buddy there's a merit sources everywhere if a newbie or lower account post a constructive opinion about something a merit sources would have a chance to give an smerits, it is just not very dominant to notice for the reason that only a few selected member is a merit sources let's just wait to see an announcement of official all member of merit source.

this is the unofficial thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2823944.msg28929005#msg28929005
332  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Raise merit requirements at the lower and highest ranks (@theymos) on: March 13, 2018, 07:52:58 PM
at last a different discussion about merit system.
not the overall repetitive and redundant hack account and merit shit.

How fastly Jet Cash can read in an overly unreadable trimmed quotes.

P.S Will be following the thread because Eminem said F-bomb.
333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shower thought. Would this start "killing" the banks? on: March 13, 2018, 05:16:40 PM
My memory doesn't serve me right I do knew that a financial bank in America founded the WWI or WWII can't remember it.
The owner of the bank have a name of roosvelt or something, so I deem bank is unkillable in terms of financial support it has some back up somewhere to where every conspiracy centering in one point.
334  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Raise merit requirements at the lower and highest ranks (@theymos) on: March 13, 2018, 10:53:21 AM
nullius is always offering a good cause for every member like myself, If I become a Hero with 3000 merit there's a value in it not just the rank itself.

He/She is pushing everyone to achieve something that is extraordinarily exceptional I like this guy I like the idea even if it is unattainable to a few members it is still achievable to a selected member like nullius itself.

Even if the idea is sort of cynical there's no explainable evidence that nullius is getting something in return undoubtedly.

P.S if I myself get to that HERO/Legendary rank every morning I wake up there's something good that happen to my life in this community and everything is priceless.
335  Other / Meta / Re: Candidate to to be a merit source in French local section on: March 13, 2018, 07:50:48 AM
We can't be merit sources only upon wishing if that is going to happen so easily I might as well apply for the said position and I will merit myself up in Hero rank, Nevertheless merit sources in different local boards have been determine I guess in a very long time.

P.S You should worry about the retrieval of your account rather than worrying about how to be an smerit source.
336  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I am planning to run a web server any advices to share with me? on: March 12, 2018, 04:54:38 PM
How many visitors do you expect, and how many megabytes, on average, do you expect each user to download? Running your own server is a great way to learn, but 800 megabytes per day is really peanuts for a web server. I’m assuming upstream traffic (stuff your server would send to your visitors in response to their requests) also counts against your quota.

In any case, also remember to secure your server. Use updated software and apply safe configuration options so that your server won’t be compromised.

Thanks for the qualifying idea that you gave to me, so it will be counted towards my consumable megabytes now I have to rethink my plan thanks for the help buddy.

Will be locking the thread now.

Locked.
337  Other / Serious discussion / I am planning to run a web server any advices to share with me? on: March 12, 2018, 04:09:21 PM
First of all I don't want this question to be posted in off-topic.

To make it simple, I'm simply saying that I've plan to run a web server after crossing to an article how to set it up.

summary
I don't have a first hand experience setting up a server, but after witnessing the said article it was sort of easy to understand especially that I know how Linux/Ubuntu work.

question
I want to know exactly if is it possible to run a web server if the my internet connection have a data capped/limit with only 800mb per day?
to make it more simple does it affect my internet data if someone is roaming around the site? generally I want to make a forum exclusively in my local country but I have a consumable 800mb.

bottomline
I doubt if anyone have tried this before on a limited internet connection but I need ideas. bandwidth is not a problem I could just use a 1terrabytes for it.
338  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie, Jr Members, Members suffering from merit-phobia: Explanations and Advice on: March 12, 2018, 03:40:29 PM
Very well said.

Being in a different parallel universe I was able to comprehend your thread.
It might seem that I'm not the only one experiencing the Mandella Effect.

too bad merit is a false memory in this parallel I can't give you some  Embarrassed
and upon checking it was really used.
339  Other / Meta / Re: Inaccurate post count on: March 12, 2018, 12:58:57 AM
If your post count is off from what you think it is, and this will negatively affect you due to participation in a signature campaign, I would advise you to ask your signature campaign manager to review your post history from when you enrolled (or last renewed) to present.

If he is not already doing this, then it is incompetent (he should be reviewing your posts anyway), and if he is refusing to do this, he is a scammer.

Wow Quick such a quick answer. Roll Eyes

But I reckon to review the post count it would be a good idea to start from the last week payments of their (signature campaign) not from the time he was enrolled in the said campaign it would be inconvenient.
340  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS , CYRUS = Scammers on: March 12, 2018, 12:38:18 AM
Shocked Oh boy this thread caught my swollen eyes for being up 18hours today.

I thought I was dreaming for a second and for checking the details it was sort of disarray.
You disapointed nullius in this one mate. Lips sealed
