321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency should I invest in with 50 USD? on: September 14, 2017, 04:35:46 PM
Best advice I could give you would be to buy bitcoin and hold them for some time. Don't sell them right away and buy them now because bitcoins price is dumping.
322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: September 14, 2017, 03:42:26 PM
This is a good time to buy bitcoin but make sure to leave some in case it dips down more for averaging. Just make sure to hold them first for a couple of months, don't sell them right away once bitcoins price tries to regain back and pumps.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to earn Wave coin online without any investment?? on: September 14, 2017, 02:52:20 PM
Use wavesdrop.com for free waves coin, I'm not sure though if the website is all dried out or not but I was using this site way before and just tried to see if I could really get free coins which I eventually did.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Posting/Sharing gambling related topics & news in facebook on: September 13, 2017, 10:01:27 AM
No, I am not afraid of posting gambling related topics or news in the social media because I know myself better than anyone else. Just because I post those things doesn't really reflect my true personality and nature. And besides that, as long as I did not hurt anyone from posting those topics then I feel like I'm okay and my family is okay with it as well.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some advice on NEO on: September 13, 2017, 09:01:12 AM
The best advice I could give you is to hold the coin you bought. Wait for a couple of months or a year if you don't need the money you placed as a capital for buying NEO.
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Falling Down? on: September 13, 2017, 07:25:59 AM
I personally don't feel anything, bitcoin had been fluctuating ever since so what difference does it make now that it had drop down its value again? As usual after the price drops it'll recover after so I'm not that worried though.
327  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcointalk Bounty millionaires. do they exist? on: September 13, 2017, 03:09:34 AM
Yes I think such people exist but I'm sure most of them won't even admit they are millionaires already because of the bounties they've joined in this campaign. And some just kept on holding the coins or tokens they got from bounties and still did not convert it to bitcoin or to their fiat money, but I'm pretty sure there are a couple of millionaires here; silent millionaires that is.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: China to Shut Bitcoin Exchanges - winter is coming on: September 12, 2017, 01:10:25 PM
These are just rumors and speculations with no solid grounds that it could happen although yes you could say it will be bad for bitcoin and it could drop its price again especially if the news would come out that it will truly shut down bitcoin exchanges, but we'll see if it does happen.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 12, 2017, 11:06:28 AM
Although it did have bad effects to the market when the news suddenly came out most especially those that are involved with the blockchain related to ICO's, I can safely say they are trying to recover after the news. It is not always bad days everyday so for sure the dumping of coins won't be happening forever, of course there are good days too. I think the ICO ban in China is just a hype, a temporary hype so people would panic and when they sell out the coins at a much cheaper value; of course investors would then take advantage and buy the coins thrown.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you value Bitcoin ? on: September 12, 2017, 08:17:26 AM
I also value or treat bitcoin like any other currency, most of us here value bitcoin because it is a source of income for some and sometimes a passive income also for students. The value of it also depends on the usage of bitcoin, so the more it is being used by many the more its value demands.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: September 11, 2017, 05:35:32 PM
I think most people who gambles do what they do because its fun and it takes their stress and worries away. In that moment all they ever think about is they won then they could go home winning with lots of money. That's what most of them think, it makes them not think of anything at that moment.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from ripple ? 2018 on: September 11, 2017, 04:36:11 PM
I don't really expect too much from this coin and for how much it will cost next year would hopefully be twice its last ath price. Anyways, the coin is progressing so if you have hold on to this coin then be hopeful. I let go of this coin a few months back because I heard the coin was dumping and would have a hard time reaching back its last ath price.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: September 11, 2017, 03:26:27 PM
Corruption is always there especially if the government are involved with huge lump sum of money involved, so either we are using one currency or a lot of currencies it does not really matter if corruption is involved. But if ever we would be using one currency I think mass poverty would take place plus the economy would go bad for sure.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible? on: September 11, 2017, 02:23:58 PM
No I don't think it could be the worlds currency, that's too far to be possible. What about those countries who have no internet access, how could they acquire this currency if they know nothing about bitcoin? That's too selfish to think that it could be that title.
335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: lost and struggle of trading. on: September 06, 2017, 11:33:00 AM
Yes trading is hard and risky but it is worth it if you know how to control your emotions and control yourself from the losses. I was doing short trading at first because they said you could profit almost right then and there but the problem with short term trading is you have to keep an eye always on the exchange/trading site to see if your coins had profited already so to cut the long story short I ran out of patience doing short term and ventured to long term trading instead; and it worked well for me. I am still doing long term trading and check the coins from time to time and see if how much are my losses.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats with the recent real estate ico? on: September 06, 2017, 10:27:40 AM
It could be a pattern I mean who knows right? Whatever is trending usually one will follow and that's how I see the pattern of these ICO's lately. It's just my own point of view but yes I've noticed this too.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So much bad news. When will it end ? on: September 06, 2017, 07:27:00 AM
I think the bad news will always be there, because if there are bad news then certainly there are also good news. That is why I prefer long term rather than short term because at least the negative effect of the bad news won't affect that much of my coins in the exchange sites.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SALE SEPT 6] 🚀🚀 AVENTUS 🚀🚀- ANTI FRAUD ANTI TOUTS EVENT TICKETING on: September 06, 2017, 06:32:14 AM
All I can say is that what's happening with Aventus ICO is simply fantastic! Here is the information I got from the  Aventus project website https://sale.aventus.io/

TOKEN SALE STARTS ON SEPT 6, 12PM UTC

0 DAYS  8 HOURS  27 MINUTES  14 SECONDS left before the public ICO begins, but look at the sold tokens in ETH. Of the 60k ETH maximum cap, 42K is already sold. And the token sale has not been opened to the public yet.

sales in the next seven days? Very likely it will finish less, the hard cap for 60k eth/6 million avt will be realized very quickly, many people are interested to join since news of ticket sales mayweather vs mcgreggor yesterday, aventus is a project that has a future.

The seven days allotted is just the time frame of the ICO process, if it will sell out when the public ICO begins then most likely it will not reach the 7 day frame obviously. And yes a lot of people whether they are investors or plainly participants of the Aventus project wants to get a hold of the token itself so hopefully it will sell out quickly.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Strange ETH Wallet issues on Bittrex. on: September 06, 2017, 05:30:48 AM
So I sent about 0.04 ETH to my Bittrex ETH Wallet. After two days, the deposit still hasn't shown up on my Bittrex account. I searched the address on Etherscan and it showed that the transaction was confirmed and that the balance was what it should be, it just wasn't showing up on Bittrex.

I thought maybe the deposit was too small to show up, so I traded for some more ETH on Bittrex itself. The amount I got through the trade showed up on my Bittrex account immediately, but the 0.04 was still missing.

So I then looked up the address again and the old balance was still correct, but the Bittrex transaction did not show.

It's almost as if there are two different wallet on the same address, one linked to my Bittrex account and the other not.

Anyone else had a problem like this?

Any ideas on fixing it?

I've tried but got no response from Bittrex support.

From which site did you send your Eth from? Try to contact their support or if you can't get a response from them try to contact them through slack or any site that the supports are active. Or send them multiple tickets to let them know that you still haven't got the Eth in your Bittrex account.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't get it. on: September 06, 2017, 04:38:04 AM
The point is that China wants to control the economy and with banning the ICO maybe it made them feel they can control the policies. They are afraid and that is one of the reasons why they had to ban the ICO. But let's just wait and well see what the outcome would be in the next coming days.
