341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth it? on: September 05, 2017, 06:29:36 PM
It is too good to be true but it is also possible, and it depends on how the ICO goes too. And I really think you should read more about the project before investing in them because there are a lot of scam ICO's going around and running the money after the ICO was successful so be very careful of the ICO you are investing in.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SALE SEPT 6] 🚀🚀 AVENTUS 🚀🚀- ANTI FRAUD ANTI TOUTS EVENT TICKETING on: September 05, 2017, 05:28:02 PM
I just checked on the current sold tokens and it is at 36k now. That was really fast, and for sure it will be sold out just when it hits tomorrow's date. I have been keeping track on this project because I firmly believe it will be successful. I admire the devs who are working on this project too and they have been very active and constantly updating the participants what has been going on with the project even with the little delays.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price during forking and after forking? on: September 05, 2017, 10:18:38 AM
Ethereum was on its way up but then the news about China then broke it down so that's why Ethereums price still hasn't move quite that much, it even dropped its price just recently.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange or wallet? on: September 05, 2017, 08:32:56 AM
The safest would be to have a hardware wallet though it cost something it is worth it too. But if you can't afford it yet or can't buy one as of this time, an exchange is still okay but it is risky because it is still possible to be hacked though even with a 2fa enabled.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen to ETH now that ICO is dead? on: September 05, 2017, 07:32:52 AM
Since China was the only country to think ICO's are illegal, well it does affect the market at some point but there are still other countries that support the ICO. And with Ethereum I think it will still go down further more but hopefully it'll recover before the year ends. A lot of ICO's are linked to the Ethereum blockchain, I just hope they won't withdraw all their efforts and money from that too.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in September on: September 04, 2017, 07:04:09 AM
Best ICO in September for me would have to be Aventus and Atlant. Those are the two ICO's I am in track of this month. I read their whitepaper and projects and seems promising to me and I would believe a lot of people will make good use of this too that's why I think these two are the best so far for this month.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Frozen account on poloniex. 25 days without reply. on: September 04, 2017, 06:04:19 AM
That's almost a month already, try sending another ticket or do that same thing of the above comment maybe it will be easier for them to read the concerns of the traders. I do have a friend who spammed sending lots of tickets and he eventually got his coins back but it took around 3 weeks for him to get it back too.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to invest $50,000USD in a coin. Needs to trade anonymously on: September 04, 2017, 05:01:17 AM
Why not invest in bitcoin or at least half of it in bitcoin and the other half would be divided into other coins, check the coinmarketcap.com and research on the top 20 coins you can choose from. Those are the coins worth to invest in.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term HODL Cryptos on: September 03, 2017, 01:42:40 AM
As I have recently just joined the world of Cryptos around 1st August but I am doing only investment based on long term HODL currently my portfolio consist of NEO, OMG, XRP, SIA, XVG & ADEX

Would like good advise on any other cryptos with reason which I should be holding for a long term prospect of 4 to 5 years time
I am sure you will get many profit in the future, because in my opinion there will be no loss for long-term investment. because if I see all the coins progress from year to year.

I agree with you on that, just as long as the coins are not dead then most of them would increase the next year. Best example is the coin BCN, it was stagnant for a long time and it suddenly increased this year.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BoolBerry got delisted, HELP on: September 02, 2017, 06:54:43 PM
Why would you even invest in a coin where no other exchange sites are listing this coin, that was a warning from the very start. Try sending a ticket or email support if you could still retrieve your coins or money. I just hope it wasn't a huge amount though.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative for Bounty Payments on: September 01, 2017, 01:44:42 PM
I'm fine with how the payments work so I voted for staying it as it is since it was what was already initiated in the first place, I wouldn't change it in my opinion. And I think this was the main reason why another platform was created like the Ethereum blockchain too.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you thing happens to Digibyte on: September 01, 2017, 11:46:45 AM
I still hold a couple of Digitbyte in my exchanger but if you bought it a high price, just wait when it will dip down and buy another set of the same amount or more of the amount of coins you bought your first digibyte. So you would not have a big loss on the coin you bought it with, that's what I did to some of my coins.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Safe Exchange on: August 31, 2017, 03:49:44 PM
Its difficult to guarantee safety but i personally like using etherdelta because its decentralized and you have the keys to wallets while you trade.

For your  STORJ to ethereum or vice versa transaction check https://etherdelta.github.io/#STORJ-ETH and i can say its fairly safe not heard anybody been hacked from there and good price to, happy trading.
Etherdelta is also a good option too besides on Bittrex. You are right its not actually safe because theres no safe exchanges and we cant be sure that we wont lose up money this is why we should use them on our own risk. If we did make a trade then withdraw it immediately.

I agree, these two options are safe to use but none of these sites are actually safe from hacking. It is not wise to store your coins on these exchanges but you could use a 2fa though if you don't have an offline wallet or hard wallet to use.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monetha ICO $30 million Sold out in few minutes on: August 31, 2017, 03:17:44 PM
Is today their ICO since you've mentioned it sold out in a few minutes? Or is it their pre-ICO still? I was supposed to invest a couple of these and just saw this post? Pretty good marketing strategy too so I wouldn't wonder if it'll be sold out in a matter of hours.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you worried about the high Bitcoin price volatility at the moment? on: August 31, 2017, 02:37:50 PM
The Bitcoin's price is always volatile and that's a known fact about it since its creation almost. There is no new thing here, just you need to deal with it. But in the near future, the price will (most likely) keep rising for a while.

I agree, this has been an ongoing debate for so long. Bitcoin's price had been volatile ever since so I don't know why people keep on asking about its volatility.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hot news. ETH go moon!!!! on: August 30, 2017, 03:37:50 PM
Yes can you please give us a link to the news about Ethereum. This got me excited because I had a couple of Ethereum for trading and I might be lucky if the news is true.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some questions regarding ICOs on: August 30, 2017, 03:03:19 PM
Usually unsold tokens are burned so there won't be any tokens circulating around rather than the once that was just sold. That mostly is the case, and with regard to your last question I don't think there are any differences between uncapped or capped ICO's but I'm not really too sure about that though.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if all coins disappear?? on: August 30, 2017, 01:45:44 PM
If all the coins would disappear, it would feel like the end of the world for us. How can we convert it to our own money if all coins would be gone? Good for those who always convert their coins or took profit or the capital already because they wouldn't worry as much as those who hold their coins and kept it for so long.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ADX] AdEx ICO Speculation on: August 29, 2017, 05:13:33 PM
I definitely think this coin is really worth to be kept and HODL'ed because I just took a peak at its chart and it just pumped recently, so that means its project worked perfectly fine. I just bought some coins, though I bought it not that low but I'm pretty sure this coin will pump back again. As they all say, HODL!!
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to know what altcoins will be listed on Poloniex? on: August 29, 2017, 04:03:23 PM
I think the easiest way to know the coins are listed is that if you follow the successful ICO coins on twitter or Poloniex and Bittrex. But sometimes they post it on the ANN thread too.
