@reactor

And now you have 'proof' what will you do about it?
Let me be clear I'm not saying I approve the things done.

But I can tell you from my own experience, when there was something wrong (I have a hosted blade and several new orders), either Josh or someone else of the crew got things corrected.

As for now, I think you made your point, just sit and wait till your miner comes. If the miner is faulty or whatever than you have more than enough reason to come back and point out the issues. For now let everybody make their own descision and do their own due dilligence before buying.

Cheers

@GAW

Could you perhaps enlighten us on how we will be notified about our hosted miners?

Will they just pop-up on our dashboard at hahs.gawminers.com or will we receive an email?

Currently I'm just abusing my F5-key on different pages ;-)

Cheers

There is really a need for more nodes.

Connection to the nodes is really slow so updating qt takes some while.

Anyone selling active shares?

Willing to buy up to 500 shares, minimum trading amount would be 10 shares to start with.

Yeah, thinking of the same of removing the fans so that I can at least be able to better stack them.

Wondering the new Firmware would do anything to improve (on not) the Watts usage ?

Instead of stacking, why not buy a Black Widow, saves you some stacking and will surely save you quite some space.

Hello,

Zenminer is making us custom cases, they just could not make them fast enough for the launch. We had close to 1,000 that needed to be sent out Smiley

They are finishing the last bit of touches on the ui, so they disabled the login for now (as you already know)

New firmware working great, lots of extra power. But if I told what it was, it would not be a surprise now would it be? Smiley

Can you give us a hint on when we can expect the first hosted miners to come online?

Cheers

Right away, can this be used with any miners?
I have a GAW Miner and a Zeus miner hopefully coming next week and it would be awesome if I could hook them both up to this and control everything from there.

Well that anouncment means nothing to me.. I am 100% hosted and plan to be for at least a year..  Grin

And I was using RPI's to drive miners a year ago..   Wink

It does mean something to me, although I'm 100% hosted to.

But it means GAW is trying to innovate and not only keep it to theirselves but spreading it out into the world of mining.

Someone may not agree on all steps GAW has made or will be making, but you have to admit they aren't solely in it for their own wallets. They care about customers and care about the world called mining. Admirable at the least.

Keep it up GAW!

are we solo mining? because the pool speed for ghash.io is basically 2.9 Gh/s. The multi-pool speed is confusing b/c its only 1 Gh/s. Anyways if someone could clarify where we are hashing that would be great.

We are mining 1,25 GH/s in the multipool on Ghash.io and 1,695 GH/s is mining at the Wemineltc pool.

So this is us on wemineltc.com?

You are right, I have corrected my post
Edit: So it is more obvious, we changed the display name to 'scryptx' in the pool stats of Wemineltc.

Nice

Roads can sometimes be a bit bumpy, so is the road GAW is riding on along with it's customers.

I've been with them for quite a while now and to be honest my experience wasn't always 100% positive but what makes GAW stand out from other is they will do everything in their power to make me experience 100% positive. And guess what, every time I run into a bump they have taken care of me. If it's a blade stuck in reboot mode, a blade running only on one 'leg' or a pool switch which doesn't work. They have managed to get me going time after time.

Today again I ran into a bump and Luke helped me out again.

Heads up for the GAW team, and I can't wait for the new miners to come online.

Cheers

In regards to the hosted upgrade is there going to be any downtime on our current blades before the Black Widows come up if we upgrade? Also, what is the warranty on the GAW brand miners? I believe I saw you say somewhere they would have a 1 year warranty.

Thanks

Josh said your blade would go offline on the day you'd order the upgrade. So if you order today you would have no hashes untill 9th of june (roughly 3 weeks).

Cheers

Can I ask what you are intending to correct about the 'Big Gun'? In terms of performance issues and power usage, what numbers are you aiming for before you release it?

It's just that you can spend less than that right now on an Innosilicon A2 90 that'll hash happily at 80+Mh/s for 800w of power. There are forum users here who are dependable and reliable sellers and, if wanted, hosters, for these Terminators, yet you are trying to shift 5 100Mh units that'll draw so much electricity the power bill at the end of each month is going to be a huge issue and, what's more, they are not going to be shipped until June?

Surely you can't be happy with those numbers yourself GAW, so why expect your customers to be?

Sometimes I just don't understand people.

If an offer doesn't fit your wallet or doesn't fit your electricity bill why bother buying? Just go on and buy some other machine which does fit your needs.

GAW announced a 100Mhs machine with the particular power draw, if these specs aren't what you're looking for, don't stop and look further.

just my 2cents

Same here, but in regards to you.

Do you not run numbers? Prices, Hashes and electric draw? If you can combine 2 War Machines to make a Big gun but the big gun is under performing (100 instead of 108) and uses MORE power (2800 instead of 2500) Yes, you SHOULD be asking questions like this guy did. Some people throw money at miners, some people do their due diligence.

But it could be the blind bat customers like you who keep this company afloat Smiley

GAW announces some specs, they also announced they won't release more specs until completely sure about them.

They announced:
War Machine: 54mh/s @1280 +/- 10%
Big Gun: 100mh/s @2800w +/- 10%

Wouldn't they just release a lower number if the number was actually lower.

My point being, GAW gives you specs upon which you can make your descision. And if you feel like other vendors have better specs than go ahead and order with them.

And yes I do run the numbers based on the info which is given.
