321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government Don't kill btc? on: September 17, 2020, 08:12:34 AM
It either the government accept bitcoin or ban it. But, here is the fact, bitcoin will continue to thrive as a non centralized crypto.

I believe governments have started seeing the positive side of bitcoin.

Of course you are right that the governments saw lots of benefits and interesting and perspective sides of the BTC and crypto using, but personally I doubt that they consider it to be something good for all of us, but for personal interests more))) that is why it is not forbidden totally yet but tries to be regulated and not for them but for lots of us)))) because this situation when all these benefits that we get with using crypto and BTC is not suitable for government))) it is as clear as a day.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are back with another trick. Be alert!!! on: September 13, 2020, 12:42:25 PM
What a way to trick newbies. But let's face the fact, is like YouTube is concern with the money they are collecting from advertiser and not the content. This video has been reported and I am still amazed that it is still up and running. It is only those who are doing genuine videos that will be receiving strikes.

The video has since been removed for violating their terms and conditions. I guess YouTube heeded to your call.

It is good that YouTube took it into consideration, I think this video was removed thanks to this guys. But the pity one thing is that lots of people had already watched this video. The most sad in this situation is that lots of newcomers might believe in this because of the lack of experience. It would be great if all people from the crypto society be so conscious as the author of this s topic.
323  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 13, 2020, 09:18:18 AM
It would really the worst thing that could happen to all of us, and Bitcoin as well. In the period of chaos and destruction the most valuable things would be food and weapons, medicine and so on. But not the BTC will take the first place in this list of the most required things. So at least for some period it would be forgotten. And after the world's recovery may be it would be recalled again.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: September 12, 2020, 12:12:26 PM
Peoples fine it difficult to understand what is cryptoccurrency most especially bitcoin, but their interested over cryptoccurrency.
I just suggest that their should be a TEXT BOOK that will discuss about cryptoccurrency in order to educate people who are interested because referring them to online shows that know Manuel evidence of cryptoccurrency. And if their is any article that guide bitcoin.

In my opinion ther is no need in the text book about bitcoin for those who are interested in it and who has a strong desire to learn the BTC and crypto currency in deep. There are so many resources in the Internet, websites, blogs, specialized YouTube channels, articles, forums and do on. For those who is in search there is no problem to find the information - it is plenty of it. But may be it would be not bad to gather information from different resources on one huge resource where newcomers will be able to learn about BTC and crypto. But only for the information - something like the idea and principle, how it is mined, how to create the BTC wallet and keep secured your assets and so on.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for thesis? on: September 12, 2020, 11:13:27 AM
Could it be possible for a bitcoin to become a thesis? I mean its a way of spreading awareness of btc. What do you think?

Of course it is possible! Even I would add it is real. And lots of universities and schools especially the private ones practice this - they even make different series of lections and it gives a good result. New generations will be more oriented in blockchain, crypto and so on comparing with us. more over youngers are more active, malleable and perceptive.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for salary on: September 12, 2020, 10:45:31 AM
I don't have lot knowledge about different things about legalities or some government things.

I am become curious about paying an employee using Bitcoin direct to it's Bitcoin wallet.
Like these days, some of our salary are paid in different method, some are being deposit on some bank accounts, some are cheque, some are cash directly.

I want to ask if we will make official method for paying our employees in Bitcoin directly to their Bitcoin wallet.
Is this method is not foul on the government? Or it is legal?
Especially on the department of government that is about the labor or employment.

First of all it may be possible in case BTC is accepted like the means of payment along with banking cards and fiat. Because especially governmental employees have to declare their income that is official at least once a year, so they should include into their declarations the means that are allowed in their country. And of course lots of depend on the inner policy of the country. And also BTC for salary is not very suitable because of its changing price)))
327  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex will stop serving a number of countries. on: September 11, 2020, 10:45:23 AM
Not a good news for the resident of those countries. I think in some of those countries Bitcoin is not illegal then why this move? I am glad that I am not in the list however I rarely use Bittrex account. there will be a lot of users who will be in trouble if Binance and Kucoin starts limiting counties.

I do not think that this limitations were adopted because of BTC is illegal in these countries. Ukraine for example is in this list. I can not say that BTC is illegal in this country))) It is not forbidden. But there was some decision from administration of Bittrex to include Ukraine to this list. Strange and not pleasant news. It was not a good surprise to learn it. But thank you for sharing, will keep it in mind. And hope Binance, Kucoin and others will not follow their example.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What area of bitcoin participation is easiest to work with? on: September 11, 2020, 10:29:47 AM
What do you mean "if you even attempt it probably with your android" ? Mining on a mobile or tablet? It is waste of time and money. I doubt that this is even available to do.

Consider mining as a long term investment in hardware. It may take months or years till you see your first profit. Compared to usual investment  in cryptocurrency or stocks, investing in mining hardware will never bring you profit quickly.

The last remark about terms and profit via mining is good. I would even like to add, that not only it needs a lot of time before you will break even, but sometimes it happens that investments into equipment and mining not only do not bring you invested sum back, but even become loss-making totally. Lots of people lost a lot on this. And what about mining via smartphone this is really a waste of time. I would add this is even a silly idea. Especially as for mining BTC via smartphone.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bithumb In Trouble, Police Raids Exchange for Second Time In One Week on: September 11, 2020, 09:04:53 AM
Anyone using this exchange? I always thought Bithumb to be trustworthly. Which exchanges are safe according to you?

News article

Personally I have never used this exchange. If everything in this article is really so, then I would like to admit that there is no guarantee at all that the exchange from the TOP and with good reputation can not be hacked, or people will not invest in some tokens or coins that will not turn to be scam, or something like that. In this case the reason is scam token, that is why this exchange is under investigation. This is the numerous remind for all us - there is no guarantee for your assets even when the exchange is good and situation doesn't look like to be strange or suspicious.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Used to Aid Belarus Protestors on: September 10, 2020, 02:56:43 PM
This situation may become very unusual in history of this country and in the world history as well. But it is a bit ambiguous. From one side it may help BTC become more popular as a good example of new opportunities comparing with ordinary banking cards or fiat money, but from the other side it is not clear nowadays will it give something more for developing of BTC and mass adoption there and in the whole world. I can add only that it is a pity that different political processes are very often associated with technological things and good ideas and products. But sometimes it helps to develop and to attract mass attention to some directions and processes.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slow adoption and decentralized nature of bitcoin on: September 10, 2020, 02:33:12 PM
People must know how Bitcoin works in order to trust Bitcoin enough to start using it in their daily lives.
Would you ever invest your hard earned money into a project that has a vague and obscure business model and goals?I don't think so.With more transparency comes more trust. The "average Joe" isn't obligated to know absolutely everything about blockchain technology, cryptography, etc. He should be familiar with the basic fundamentals of Bitcoin.I truly believe that the fundamentals of Bitcoin are simple enough to be easily explained to uneducated people.

In my opinion lots of people, let's be honest, when Bitcoin has just appeared even did not have any clear idea what the exact business model and goals it had or will have. And even nowadays there is a high percentage of people who buy BTC only because his more successful friend did, without even any trying to read mote in deep information about BTC, it's idea and so on. And it is not because these people are less clever than others are. It is just because they even do not try to do this. They see the example of friend that invested some years ago in BTC and got high profit. But of course I am agree that it would be better to give people more knowledge about Bitcoin and crypto, even uneducated people sometimes are more wise than people with lots of universities degrees))) But I think that the person who wants to learn more in deep, he just does it and that is all. Thanks to the Internet, there are so many resources where you can find a huge doze of information about BTC and crypto)))
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: September 10, 2020, 08:52:26 AM
I've been into Bitcoin for quite a few years, and I'm impressed to see how far it has reached in the mainstream world. It's the most widely-adopted cryptocurrency for decentralized payments worldwide without the need for a middleman. In its current state, Bitcoin works wonders for ordinary people like you and me. It's only a matter of putting the right BTC address and the number of coins to send to get started using the Bitcoin blockchain.

However, my concern is how blind people are able to get used to Bitcoin? To my knowledge, wallets (either with a GUI or CLI) don't have "text-to-speech" features to make blind people's lives easier. It'd be great if developers keep blind people in mind to help increase the adoption of the pioneer cryptocurrency in the mainstream world. The only thing I've found is an audiobook of the Bitcoin whitepaper which is a great solution to introduce blind people into the "mechanics" of Bitcoin.

Any thoughts? Huh

You know, it is really a big problem for blind people to use lots of things and services, and of course to keep their finger on pulse with the rapidly developing world, and the BTC, crypto and Blockchain are not the exception. Lots of things are oriented on the ordinary people who can react rapidly first. After adoption of masses different products and directions may be adopted to the needs of people with disabilities. But the problem is not in wallets only. What if such a person got some BTC but what to do with them after? How to trade on the exchanges, for example? Too many things should be technically equipped with the voiced function or support.
333  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: re:15.000 restaurants in France start accepting bitcoin payments through JustEat on: September 09, 2020, 08:39:59 PM
I’ve been accessing their sites worldwide, in order to see other countries where they accept BTC as a means of payment. Unfortunately, I have only been able to make out Switzerland so far (3.000 establishments on the platform), since the other local sites require one to login in order to get to the screen that I want to reach. Both France and Switzerland do mention Bitcoin on their home page, whilst the others don’t, so perhaps it’s just down to them two for now under this brand name.

Note: And yes, its 15k establishments in France, not 1,5K.

May be it is just the beginning only and after some period of time such information about possible means of payment like BTC will appear on websites of this Just Eat group in other countries also:
"Payment methods have been expanded and now include Apple Pay, Google Pay (via our Just Eat app) and bitcoin, in addition to other payment methods if offered by restaurants (credit card, Paypal, cash, checks or meal vouchers)".
Nevertheless it is a great step for Bitcoin, crypto in whole and for this group of restaurants. They are functioning in 13 countries. And of course acceptance of BTC depends not only on the desire of the owner of the restaurant, but on different nuances of the inner policy of the exact country. May be there is some reason. So I hope this one great step in France and in Switzerland will prolong lots of such great steps in other countries, it would be a good example)
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: September 09, 2020, 03:23:07 PM
Just a feeling I have. It's all credit cards and dollars and shit.

Yeah, I'd rather spend the shit money and save my bitcoins, but I can't wait until I can use real money everywhere. I'd rather get paid in bitcoin and spend bitcoin.

May be some day we will get such an opportunity, but in my opinion it will not happen very soon))) at least it will not be so mass action)) like in lots of large shops or something like that. It depends on the local owner of the business wheather he would be ready to accept such means for payments, and even nowadays there are some people who practices such variant for payments. But in order BTC would become accepted by all the business and services it would be too many nuances worked out, adopted and implemented.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: September 09, 2020, 03:11:06 PM
Yes, specialists in Blockchain are the most demanded nowadays, because this direction is not new but very young, and there are no institutes or universities with the specialized disciplines that will prepare lots of spcialists in this field, but the Blockchain direction is very perspective, and every successful person or someone who has the aim to achieve high success and high results in his business understands this. That's why professionals in the Blockchain direction with deep knowledge and highly experienced are so valued.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does a Bitcoin news site receive a penalty for copyright on: September 07, 2020, 08:30:46 PM
There are many sites on Bitcoin news on the internet and everyone follows them. Does receiving news from these news sites cause copyright.  Huh

It is better not to make something like copy paste, because there were lots of examples when Google reacted and as a result it was not so pleasant for those who done this. Even nowadays you can find lots of Internet recourses, where articles are just copied and republished sometimes even without paraphrasing. Even funny from one side to see the same news on different sites))) because we all know that lits of news sites find the main original resource where the article is published and just republish it on their own recourse like this is their own journalist's or the blogger's job. But I would not recommend you to do so. It is better to catch the main idea and create your own article, it will prevent you and your site from some problems and even make your rating higher))
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder Everyone: If You Don't Have The Keys, Then It's Not Your Crypto on: September 07, 2020, 02:26:08 PM
Personally I am surprised that some people still believe that keeping even a small amount may give the guarantee that this amount will not be stolen or disappear because of some reason. The most safe place is good wallet that is strongly secured. And of course secured not only by your seed words but secured by your following of simple rules of using your assets - good old and simple rules, that very often are forgotten by lots of users. It is better to use separate gadget where you use your wallet, and this gadget you should better not use for searching something in the Internet, watching films or working with your social profiles. Cold wallet is even better.  And of course everyone should be ready to lose because there is always such a risk. It is said not only about the exchanges, but it is said about the assets and every direction of investments or trading.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Bitcoin giveaway scams and how can you avoid them on: September 05, 2020, 05:39:52 PM
Just a simple step don't send out money or Bitcoin if it is a giveaway then why would you need to send first before receiving it?
That is the only thing that you should never forget on crypto or in every currency.
Just ask yourself why would you even need to pay in order to receive a free giveaways?

Completely agree, that even the first word that everyone should notice - it is giveaway, that means there will not be collecting from people. And of course everyone should make the analysis about the amounts, how real they are, just simple calculations and the reality before making some steps under emotions. Of course I would add it is better to find real pages of those real people whose profiles are used for such things. And even sometimes it is so hard to understand at first glance that it is fake account. So it is like a variant to ask about this giveaway on forums where you will find answers exactly.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New documentary: Bitcoin Revolution in Africa on: September 04, 2020, 01:37:30 PM

It seems to me it is a good step for African people, where lots of people could join to others in the big world to the crypto currency possibilities and perspectives. May be for lots of people on other continents Bitcoin is a usual thing, but how it could sound strange but not all people on our Planet have access to simple things like banking, cards, online payments and Bitcoin and crypto as well. So in my opinion these changes are good. May be step by step lots of people in Africa will be more interested in BTC and making money online)))
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology in universities on: September 04, 2020, 12:07:53 PM
Can blockchain technology help universities and colleges?

For sure it will help without any hesitation. Data of students, of diplomas and different sertificates,  Olympiads, competitions, the various tests and exams and its results could be kept in safety and lots of financial questions of universities budget will be solved in a one clique - Blockchain will ensure transparency - how and for what the budget is spent. Everything will become more clear. And of course thinking broader Blockchain can help with transparency for lots of different directions of peoples lives.
