3221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptcominer.com - SCAM or NOT?! Update: SCAM on: October 20, 2014, 12:48:13 PM
I prefer

1. Find a good ponzi
2. Don't advertise it in your signature
3. Tell anyone who thinks it is real why it is an obvious ponzi.
4. Enjoy good karma.

Ok, I followed the plan, where's my karma?

If you send me your karma, I'll double it for you in 14 days.

There's more red herrings on this thread than in a red herring shop.
3225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 18, 2014, 09:07:46 PM
yea, so i signed up for esoteric investments.... people need to email their support and try to get some official contact information!

and if they really are in New Jersey, somebody pay a visit!

Drop Phantom Trader a pm on here, he knows the people who matter...errrr, he is the people that matter.

3226  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 18, 2014, 07:23:40 PM
Seems they are already operating a new scheme: https://www.esotericinvestments.com

I have contacted their support with a silly question and the reply was almost identical to what BT replied at the time they were still replying.

What was the question and response from Esoteric Investments and Bitcoin Trader? Because my impression is a strong thats not them just someone else that knows how to make money in the crypto markets and is opening that ability up to other people...making more in the process I'm sure, as that is business.

My research found that Esoteric Investments isn't Bitcoin Trader. They are a registered LLC in New Jersey, USA by Dan Pace and Glenn Crystal (Not John Carley) since March when Bitcoin trader was doing fairly well. Pretty simple business search could have found that out for you.

Plus they are in America if Esoteric goes Gox in America, The United stated will not hesitate to drop the hammer on a scam especially a bitcoin scam they are just waiting to make an example of someone. And it was pretty clear that Bitcoin Trader was avoiding being stations in the USA despite most of their actual business and events were in the states.

If you all were so in love with Bitcoin Traders performance I think Esoteric is at least worth a look as the next thing, and hopefully Bitcoin trader doesnt gox and then we can diversify among two of these passive incomes.

I'm already in them for a small trial amount to test the waters. Feel free to use my referral to help me earn a little more.

From the Facebook Bitcoin Trader Customers Association page:

Dan Pace ....I have been with Esoteric Investments from the beginning which was actually founded late March. It is only recently that the site and company has reorganized its site to show results and to accept investments. The time in the interim has been used to perfect trading strategies and clearly define a business model for the company of which I have been a part of from time to time. The members of the Esoteric Team and myself have spent countless hours and long discussions over the best practices for the company to utilize. I can ensure you that the founders of Esoteric Investments would love nothing more then to see this company grow and stand tall in 5 years time and there is no plan for a quick ponzi scheme like the one we are getting out of now.

The main idea was to make a trading pool that turns a bunch of little fish into a whale and everyone shares the rewards. If you have been in the crypto game for a while you know a big enough whale is practically immortal so this company may have a good chance of standing the test of time.

In an effort to inspire some trust in Esoteric Investments I invite anyone with questions and concerns to contact me as I do have extensive knowledge of the company from my role in its formation.

On another note the falling of Bitcoin Trader has caused a surge in Esoteric Investments with which the trading team is handling perfectly fine. I have been told that some finishing touches to the site and some updates will be made within a week. These include a detailed business model of how the investments are used and traded (much more in depth than we do arbitrage or we trade coins), a report of our research and results of the last large market mover(first report to be released will be of a past trade in Doge), and a clear distinction between Esoteric Investments and Bitcoin Trader as the team is getting near insulted by being called the same repeatedly and wants to prove they are not a John Carley in any way they can.

Their mission: To create ongoing relationships with each of our clients by providing the finest service possible to address their investment concerns and their financial needs.

Between them and myself I hope we can answer any concerns of this new opportunity entering the Crypto space, and we will use all of our power and ability to do so!

By the way I'm number four, like I said from the beginning.

B-B-But, I don't understand, how can the boss of the firm, Dan Pace and a new customer, Phantom Trader share the same referral number???
Surely, that can't mean that they are the same person???

 Huh
 Roll Eyes

Edit: Mr. Pace assures me that there's a perfectly rational explanation.
3227  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptonyx.com - up to 6% per week - Discussion on: October 18, 2014, 03:31:47 PM

Considering the evasiveness of LorkiSan's answers, I think it's highly probable that he is a paid shill. This is not new, a previous Ponzi scheme (Cryptory) paid people to post on this forum promoting the scheme. After pushing long enough, the shills admitted that, around the time the scheme collapsed (if I recall the chronology correctly).

Yeah, I remember Cryptory, at least they put a bit of effort into that Ponzi, with the photographs and stuff, not like this transparent nonsense.
Those shills only lost their nerve after Dooglus started hitting them with neg trust, iirc.
These two on here seem to be run by some sort of circular script, probably carry on with their nonsense posts indefinitely. Or the couple of weeks it may take for this joke 'investment opportunity' to eat itself.
3228  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptonyx.com - up to 6% per week - Discussion on: October 18, 2014, 03:05:15 PM
There's a massive difference between MtGox and this. MtGox had a legitimate business model: trade Bitcoins for fiat and the company takes a (small) cut. They screwed up their business, as we all know. But there are several other companies still out there, with the exact same business model, doing fine. An exchange is a real business model. It can still attract incompetent or dishonest people, sure. But the business model is okay.
And why, in this case, a legitimate model is better? I know, legitimate model can attract a large audience, and as a consequence scam more customers. Awesome...

There is no way to obtain 6% profit per week guaranteed with no risk.
Even to buy 1 BTC is already a big risk.

What convinced you that this is likely not a scam?
To convince is the wrong word. I see here a good opportunity to earn BTC.

You are just writing down words now, you make no sense.

Rannasha, you're being trolled mate, probably for post count and bumping.
3229  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Coin-Profiters - HYIP Bitcoin Investments Done Right on: October 18, 2014, 02:50:11 PM
Trading has ups and down, we are never guaranteed to win. What we can guarantee is a 70-80% return on ALL investments.

This is beyond stupid.
Anyone who gives them anything deserves to lose it.

lol it's getting amazing

yeah it's for sure better than my daily soap opera. Always having some popcorn and a six-pack ready next to me Smiley

You're a character in it, Sunny.
I was just reading back through your aggressively pro BT posts and wondering whether you were:
a) Part of it
b) Knowingly 'invested' in a Ponzi and puffing it to make sure you got out in good time
c) In denial

Seeing as you're still here, I'd say c) ??

I invested on day one and made a lot of money out of it. Same with zeekrewards, profitable sunrise, panamoney and a dozen others. You just have to smell that they are going big, that's it.

Ah, so it's b) then.

Quite funny really with hindsight, everybody's villain Yonce telling the truth and being slagged off by people who knew he was right.

It's pretty obvius that this thread is bumped by sock accounts. The reply above me is obviusly fake.

Stay away from this! Those overly thankul fake testomorials come out right about when a hyip scam is about to end just so the one who runs the hyip can run away with more money.

You are obviously not part of BT and your post should be considered off topic by the mods! Anyway dude, we'll talk in five months and listen what you have to say then  Grin

FTFY.

Go back a page, that's where it came from.

Hm? Just went back 3 pages. Not seeing anything related to this at all... just stuff dealing with business registration and the supposed audit.

Yeah, my bad sorry  Embarrassed

Be interesting to see where that goes....
3233  Other / Archival / Re: <<< Bitcoin HYIP >>> BTCBackers - We back your BTC with interest! <<< Bitcoin HYIP >>> on: October 18, 2014, 10:10:41 AM

And you are here in this forum just to say stuff like this right?

It's good to see that you are happy that people had large sums of money stolen. What a wonderful human being you are.

Rannasha and others, including myself, have made posts explaining that they are a ponzi for awhile. If you read those posts and still invested, you have no one to blame but yourself.

I certainly have no worries. I lost nothing in this game.

But, let's not be a dick. Someone saying they are HAPPY other people lost money is, let's face it, being a dick.

Rannasha was just having a little joke with words that got blown out of proportion. The only person to use the word HAPPY is you, so I guess you're the dick.

One slightly surprising thing that has come out is that BT did actually approach an accountancy firm about having a proof of solvency audit done, according to one of the FB sleuth sites.
In reply to the enquiry:

"..One of the UK investors by the name of Isaac contacted John Carley and Michael Brandenberg from Bitcoin Trader to ask if they knew an accountant he could use for his personal tax implications regarding his investments with Bitcoin Trader.
Isaac was given your details...."

The Accountancy firm responded:

"Many thanks for your email. I spoke to Isaac earlier this week regarding the same.
From our records, I can see an email exchange between John Carley and our director, Hasib in late July/early August, and subsequently a phone call with Mr Brandenberg at the beginning of August. The business was enquiring as to whether we could provide proof of solvency. The decision was made that the work was too risky, and not covered by our insurance. Thereafter, we did not have any further interaction with John or Michael.
Kind regards,
Chris

3235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the best way to hedge bitcoin? on: October 17, 2014, 06:55:32 PM
Buy dollars, stick them under your mattress.

I would have to agree.

The safest hedge is to have Bitcoin as well as cash, gold and silver all within your possession.
I think that's absolutely correct. It is necessary to have a large investment portfolio and constantly diversify investment instruments.

....and cross your fingers, very important.

The closest thing 0r best info I've received thus far was from this guy - http://bitcoininvestingprofitsystem.com/explained/

I wish I hadn't clicked that link, I feel dirty now. Sad

I am so confident that I can teach you how to get rich with my Bitcoin Investment Profit System that I am going to offer you a guarantee, providing that you invest a minimum of USD $1,000.   Fourteen  days from now, if you lost money (more than you initially started with) at the conclusion of a seven consecutive day period, simply tell me the amount of money you invested along with the dates that the losses occurred. Providing that you suffered a loss in the manner described above, just email me and I will CHEERFULLY Refund your money.

I mean, c'mon my friend....... Roll Eyes

I hate to say I told.... No... wait... That's not right.

It is with great pleasure that I say: I told you so!

And you are here in this forum just to say stuff like this right?

Starting months ago, I made lengthy posts explaining in detail why BT was a Ponzi scheme. I think I did my fair share to warn people to stay the hell away.

Regardless, people invested and lost. I suggest that those that have no stake in this or have no specific information to help us track down our funds / punish those involved should be so kind as to leave this forum. Not sure why you are here at this point actually. Nothing to see here, move along. Find another forum to warn folks about the next Zombie Apocalypse.

Maybe it's the same ignorant arrogance that made you greedy enough to invest in this ponzi because it was 'bitcoin' that is now showing through when you tell senior members who have seen this all before to get off a thread because you, registered today, want your money back.

Haha! Dude you are a sad individual. I hope you enjoy your life of trolling forums that have nothing to do with you.
Blahblahblah....

I looked very closely at BT as an investment for myself and acknowledge that it was advice from this forum that helped me see that it was probably a fake.
The people you're telling to go away helped save me -and others, no doubt- a lot of money and stress, because they prompted due diligence and caution, despite greed whispering "Go on, it will be fine."
Take your juvenile ranting to the bank asshole.

What makes me a fool? Only the opinion of a bunch of people who are afraid to take risks for the sake of profits?

Lol, yeah sure, if you could only see my trading book right now....

Anyway, I shall leave you in peace to huff and puff this piece of crap "project".
I would wish you good luck, but that would mean some other fool giving you money, so I won't bother.
3240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptonyx.com - up to 6% per week - Discussion on: October 16, 2014, 11:34:50 AM
your site
My site? I am not connected with the site.

So why are you so defensive about it? There is absolutely no reason to believe it is anything but a crude ponzi. It ticks all the boxes.
Why bother attempting to promote it by starting this thread if you have no connection apart from "the smallest deposit"?

Everything about them screams HYIP/ponzi. If you don't see it then you are either incredibly naive or a shill for the scheme.
These are your guesses. In any case, it does not make anyone a fool.

So, which is it, shill or naive?
Because one things for sure, we aren't fools.
