The coronahoaxers aren't really interested in what the UN has to say (conspiracy > science) so I don't think there's any possibility of a "oh...the UN scientists were right" moment.  All they (science community in general) can do is try and convince anyone who will listen how to not make things worse - which is what I feel like they have been doing.  Anything they say will somehow be twisted via tabloid => youtube => TECSHARE => bitcointalk.  I was just trying to point out how it was being twisted instead of how obviously wrong they are to begin with.

Faucci and Brixx, and most of the guys he brings into the briefings are great.  The science community seems to agree that Fauci is one of if not the most qualified person in the world when it comes to infectious diseases.  Pence also does a great job.

I watch a decent chunk of most of the briefings though, and when Trump is off script or taking questions, it's just a shit show.  He regularly contradicts the experts about things they're experts in and just says the most mind blowingly stupid things - it's like he's torn between the corona hoaxers and science so he just bounces back and forth so that in the end he'll be able to claim victory no matter what.  But yeah, it does seem to be working - but everything is so weird right now it's tough to figure out what the country is actually feeling.

The UN article was about how an armed conflict could end up killing several hundred million more innocent people now than before the pandemic.  It was basically a plea for a cease fire or at least make leaders think twice before provoking anyone.

Crazy how an article can evolve when a tabloid writes about it and then a youtuber creates a video about the tabloid article, and then someone talks about the youtube video on a bitcoin forum.

Come clean about everything and tell your story from start to finish, including all the success you've had so that others can learn from you.  I'm sure it's a hell of a story that people would love to hear and if you're sincere I bet some good opportunities would come from it.

Give someone trusted control of your affiliate payments.  Let them distribute the payments to investors transparently.

I was pretty surprised to see the cash payments  and unemployment only make up ~30% of the stimulus package combined.  (closer to 20-25% if you factor in they just added more money for small businesses)





Edit: I guess technically some of the business loans are kind of the same as unemployment since if a company doesn't fire any workers, they don't have to pay the loan back.

I think it's possible Sweden gets through this relatively unscathed and don't look back and regret the path they chose.

It could be due to their overall health, healthcare system, or some other random variable.
They also could be benefitting from all their neighbors locking down.  Perhaps if Norway, Denmark and Finland made the same decision they'd have run out of hospital beds and been forced to lock it down like Italy.

It's a country with 10 million people with only 1 city close to 1 million.  

Using it as an example of why the rest of the world should just stop social distancing is pretty silly.

You don't have to take my word for it though, we've got the best scientists and doctors in the history of the world - listen to what the overwhelming majority of them are saying - we shut down the economy on our own terms, or it shuts itself down when the hospitals and food supply stop functioning.

When I first saw his [plead] post from a few weeks ago, my spidey senses went off making me think there was 40-60% chance this was a scam and the whole thing was a money grab - after all, this is bitcointalk.

So I did a little digging.  He made several posts several months ago (Nov/Dec I think?) that discussed the shitty situation he was in.  I don't know if it was a cry for attention because he was all alone (what a sad thing to consider), bu it was clear that he believed he was  going to die, pretty soon, OR if he (or whoever he sold his account to) was just going for a money grab with a valuable account.

He hasn't logged on since April 3rd.

We have the obituary.

We have pictures of his hospital board, bracelet and the giant gash in his skull.

Pretty sure no money has moved from any of his donation addressed since then either.


Is it possible the whole thing is a scam?    Yeah.
A more likely situation: is it possible he sold the account and someone is faking Brunos death?  Yes.
