3261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONATIONS TO UKRAINE on: March 26, 2022, 01:30:33 PM
It would be nice to know where these donations go? If it's only for weapons, what good are these good deeds? Now a lot of things have been destroyed, people have nowhere to live and nothing to eat, but, however, show what is being done for these people? Who takes the money from donations? Are you sure that all donations will definitely reach those in need? Or the country will continue to collapse, and as a result, the authorities will squander it on their castles outside of Ukraine.
3262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Click here if you like heeding to opinions on: March 26, 2022, 11:42:21 AM

I thought newbies find their way to this forum almost every day? Creating such a topic as this won't hurt, the first page of this Beginners and Help section has nothing like this warning, it makes sense to repost something like this once in a while, those who will read and learn something will and those who won't care won't.

Such advice just comes from beginners, since only these topics are full of them. And you, assuring that you are not a beginner, could write something more useful to prove your belonging to knowledge about cryptocurrencies. But even if you started with such an empty topic, I want to believe that the continuation will be more serious.
3263  Other / Meta / Re: What happened to the forum plagiarism rules? on: March 24, 2022, 10:50:26 AM

Sorry for that mistake that I does not add any source link in that post and I also messaged you about this. Asked how to solve it. Later on, I add the source link in that post (as you suggest). Also after adding the source link I again messaged you for removing my name from that plagiarism list. But now you did not reply to me. I think you should give chance to other users before exposing them.

What do you want from me? You asked me in a private message what you can do to avoid the ban. I answered you that it is enough to add a link. You did it. Everyone, you will not be banned for this case. Unless you get caught for some other plagiarism.
It is absolutely not necessary to disturb people with constant messages in a personal. Yes, I don't want to answer you anymore, because I see no reason to delete my first accusation. You plagiarized, but you're in luck. Let it be history.
Also, read the policy on unsolicited private messages. I strongly discourage you from doing this.
3264  Other / Meta / Re: What could it be? Mistake? (Deleted/Off-limits/Ignored) on: March 24, 2022, 10:39:23 AM
Do you have some boards on ignore list? It seems like so at least to me. That's for sure I think as I can see the posts. What I'm wondering is why would you have "Wallet software" section on your ignore list?
I can see his recent received merits are from this thread-
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5389446.msg59598739#msg59598739
Since, you can't see the post title, or atleast as it says off limits, I can't see any more reason.

Thanks. That was precisely the reason. Somehow, these topics I have marked in ignoring.
You enlightened me, I will close the topic.
3265  Other / Meta / What could it be? Mistake? (Deleted/Off-limits/Ignored) on: March 24, 2022, 10:29:24 AM
I noticed some oddities in user m2017's profile.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1298138

Observe that the merits that were sent to him, as well as the merits he sent, appear in posts that appear to be deleted.
But when viewing these supposedly “deleted” posts, they all display beautifully.
What could it be? Mistake?
Previously, I saw a similar display of deleted posts, has something changed now? Huh

3266  Other / Off-topic / Re: These two don't go and yet, it keeps been used! (Misconception) on: March 24, 2022, 07:18:32 AM
Is it possible to compare Facebook with a forum? Where can you post full topics on Facebook? A few phrases barely describe the essence of any news or offer. This is where the difference between likes and merits comes from. It is very easy to give your sympathy on Facebook, absolutely for everything. Likes on Facebook are limitless, but here on the forum, I'm sure that every merit is given always goes through some kind of evaluative reasons for which the owner evaluates the post. Of course, merit is not always given for high-quality posts, sometimes merit comes for a good question or even a joke, but basically, all merits go for smart things, which cannot be said about likes.
3267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't accept bribe to do KYC, it doesn't worth it on: March 24, 2022, 06:32:15 AM
This is a long-established business, when scammers need documents of people from a particular country, they offer payment only if a person passes verification on a website, and even easier, they simply take screenshots of their documents.
Today, many people are mistaken in thinking that it is very easy to earn $20 by showing their identity on some website. I saw a completely harmless site that sells toys, and as a prize, the scammers offer some small change, and of course they require documents. And this makes one think, if such sites exist, then they are created for a reason, the victims from such deceptions also do not decrease.
3268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Year on this Forum on: March 24, 2022, 06:16:12 AM
A year on the forum and such success. Your rank in a year has risen as much as some cannot do in a few years. I congratulate you, I think it is not necessary to say how useful you are for the forum.
I see that you are a teacher, so yes, you teach not only offline, but your topics are very interesting here on the forum, so you are a teacher doubly.
Please don't stop, keep up your noble work.
My regards.
3269  Other / Archival / Re: Request for Ukraine local board on: March 23, 2022, 03:26:11 PM
just like what some members have suggested why not go to the local Ukrainian thread for a moment if the situation between the Russians and the Ukrainian on the Russian local board is getting worse while you guys continue to ask for your own local board?
I just took a look at the Ukrainian local thread and there is very little activity there. The thread is currently 280 pages long. On top of page #279, there is a post from October 17, 2021. If you scroll down from there, you can see that it usually takes days and over a week sometimes between two posts to appear.

We have posts being written on October 17, 19, November 05, 10, 20, December 03, 06, etc. Between 06 and 26 December, not a single post was submitted. Even during this crisis and war, very few posts have been written in March, with the last one on 18 March.

There are other local threads with far more activity who haven't received their own local. I doubt Ukrainian users will get one either.

No matter how ridiculous it may sound, it is much easier to rename the Russian locale to Ukrainian. Because if you ask yourself how many Russian-speaking users are there and how many Ukrainians, you will see an advantage in Ukrainians.
Causes? The forum is blocked in Russia, how many people will use VPN?
Everyone who is NOT interested in disputes simply no longer visits the Russian section, bypassing it, and if he writes, he does not provoke disagreements.
I think the issue can be resolved very simply.
3270  Other / Meta / Re: What happened to the forum plagiarism rules? on: March 23, 2022, 03:13:41 PM
For an account to be banned, you need to give several examples of plagiarism.

I have the feeling that's not (only) about how many examples of plagiarism are presented, it may be also related to the number of reports (and maybe reporters).
One of my (few, sorry) plagiarism reports stayed there for quite a while (more than 2 weeks) until that account was banned, although he has made plenty of plagiarized posts.

Well, look, as an example.
teddybear account.
How many users reported its plagiarism? At least three. This is igehhh, Bitcoin_Arena and also previously me.

Isn't that enough? Most likely, we can guess what the moderators think?  Complaints of only one plagiarism, this account does not have a low rank and also does not participate in any subscription company.
To block him, he will need to copy more often Grin, and this case was probably left as a last warning by the moderators.
3271  Other / Meta / Re: Please State What Criteria or Reasons Willing to Give Your MERITS to Someone? on: March 23, 2022, 02:57:02 PM
It looks like the OP got some merit and tips and lessons on how and what to get merit for. But everyone who generously presented him did not explain to him that it would also be good to bestow merits on others. As you can see, the OP hasn't handed out any merits yet.
And as a bad example is contagious, I'm somehow sure that soon you will see a few more newcomers here who are also interested in the topic of merit, and hoping to get upfront just as easily and simply by changing the theme for newbies to META.  Cheesy
3272  Other / Meta / Re: Please State What Criteria or Reasons Willing to Give Your MERITS to Someone? on: March 22, 2022, 05:27:10 AM
Why are these questions in META? OP, please move your thread to the Newbies section, there is plenty of information from equally curious newbies who are interested in merit for bounty and subscription companies.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0

I read your story, in fact, this issue seems to be of great concern to you, and you have repeatedly asked about it in your Indonesian section.
this is very interesting . quite clearly shows who is the benefactor giving or sending merit.
but out of that as a beginner, of course I have to be the one who gives good and interesting posts so that there are benefactors who want to give me awards according to their standards. and this award is very useful for newbies like me
I think you have already been given a lot of advice on how to get merit, but you stubbornly do not understand. If this continues, your journey with merit may be a long one. Learn faster.
3273  Other / Meta / Re: Unban account request on: March 21, 2022, 02:11:46 PM
Start focusing on Rank Up your new account, it will make you calmer.

You, being with a good rank, did not bother to study the rules of the forum. You have memorized one rule, now it's time to understand another rule. If your account was once blocked, you no longer have the right to register other accounts.

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]

I looked at your profile, you also look like someone who is not constantly present on the forum, which gives the impression that you are not all right with honesty.
3274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donating With Bitcoin on: March 21, 2022, 01:02:40 PM
Many of us expect merits from others after creating a valuable post.

Relevant, isn't it, OP? Grin Grin
Finding a beautiful and noble reason to ask forum users for a donation.
Every person sees himself as right and wants to be good. Where else can you donate? There are a lot of reasons for sick children, the construction of churches and mosques, of course, wars.
But, OP, that's an old idea. Bitcoin has been accepted for donations for a long time, and anyone who wants to be kind always knows where to put their money.
3275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of bitcoin if Satoshi Identity is revealed on: March 21, 2022, 12:35:15 PM
One of the reason for high trust on bitcoin is that the bitcoin owner Satoshi identity is hidden.

The first sentence reads like a statement. Can you please explain why I can't trust bitcoin, knowing the real identity of who invented it? Maybe I don't understand something? Does this mean that I should not trust other discoveries, since I know the identity of the inventors?
3276  Economy / Economics / Re: You need to understood world is business and priorirty money and profit on: March 21, 2022, 11:57:11 AM

Yes people have lost it and weatlhy ones very top elite dont really care about you for your goverment also you are just other number just number in the system and if you take this system too seliously thats how u feed that that system

Do you think that the wealthy elite has a nation? Or do you consider yourself less disadvantaged than other inhabitants of the planet? In fact, all the arguments here are completely meaningless, since you are right, everyone here, all without excluding a single one, are just puppets that are manipulated by the governments of countries. This speaks for everyone, including Russia and Ukraine, Europe and, of course, the main flagship and manipulator, as well as a provocateur, the United States
3277  Economy / Economics / Re: You need to understood world is business and priorirty money and profit on: March 21, 2022, 11:41:25 AM
Everyone knows money is really important, you can almost buy anything if you have a lot money. People in middle to low class are working on their entire life in order to survive, they're treating money is everything.

Putin do have really lot achievement when he become Russia's president, especially how he handle a crisis and improving then Russia's economy growth. It just on economy sectors, the other sectors he handled successfully too. Putin wouldn't be changed, he's one of Russia's history.

People have completely lost their human faces. Money replaced them with honor and dignity. Everything is bought and everything is sold. And each has its own price, although earlier we were brought up on the principles of morality and truth.
And today, reading your answers, I see several adequate people who have not become a stupid crowd that stubbornly refuses to accept reality. I think that the Russians may and will have problems in the economy, but these problems will be much less than the problems that manifest themselves in Europe.
I see rallies in Spain, people are worried and demand not to raise prices, they are worried about the coming famine, so who starts to suffer from sanctions more? Is it only Russia?
3278  Economy / Reputation / Re: High rank Connected account with strong proof. Cheating on Indahash bounty camp on: March 21, 2022, 08:15:29 AM
Hi TalkStar, Sorry bumping into an old thread.
I just want to report about the Merit trading t

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=3395077
And tell us that you are so honest, but having received a few merits, you gave or sold the merit? Doesn't this remind you of anything? The post made by Avikacopo is an application for participation in the bounty. Isn't that what you discovered a hundred years later?
And yes, the post you credited has been deleted, but there is an archive. And if we look at his trust, this account is notorious for plagiarism.
Or maybe this is your alternate account?

3279  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine VS Russia. Ideological or Economical conflict? on: March 21, 2022, 07:26:46 AM
This invasion is neither ideological nor economical. This invasion is simply born out of a folly. Arguing that this invasion is either ideological or economical is dignifying it. At the bottom of it, this is nothing but a decision of a deranged man. Putin is becoming a crazy dictator who is living in a world of fantasy. The problem is that he has so much power and he is a mad man. Everybody is afraid to confront him and tell him he is out of his mind. I know for sure that even some of those people in his inner circle do not approve of this stupidity.

The most stupid post I've read about Putin. Who do you think would appoint a madman to the presidency? Do you know the population of Russia? Or maybe you forgot what time you live in? Is this medieval?
Try to shift your eyes to Russian resources and read what is the demilitarization of Ukraine and the denationalization of Ukraine. Try using a translator. Type in the search the genocide of the Russian-speaking population of Donbas for 8 years. Read about the Gorlovskaya Madonna. Do you know what Nazism is? This is exactly what was the reason that the operation began by the Russian authorities. Liberation of Ukraine from Nazism.
Although I understand that all words are useless while there is a mass mailing of fake news. But history always shows that sooner or later people will find out the truth, it takes time.
3280  Other / Meta / Re: About self moderation. on: March 21, 2022, 07:00:41 AM

So how someone can remove or delete a topic that he started if he thinks it's irrelevant or unnecessary right now? I think there must be some procedure to do that because there are many topics in the service and marketplace board which is created for short time. Or just leave it by thinking it's not there.

If you initially create a self-moderated topic, then you can delete it later. And also delete all messages that remain on the topic. I'm not sure if it works like that. But I read complaints from users who are not happy that their answers in self-moderated topics were deleted.
But as far as your messages are concerned, you are the master in your account. When I came to the forum and became interested in bounty companies, I made a bunch of unnecessary reports. But later, realizing that this was a useless exercise, I completely deleted a bunch of my reports. This is what I advise everyone who understands that the reports only interfere with the forum.
