Hi Peeps and thanks for upgrading us to a B. Boxing isn't like Soccer, which has 3-way lines. In boxing if you bet on a side and the result is a DRAW, you get your money back. The ridiculous +2900 that Cloudbet has listed is if you want to bet the DRAW, in which you would lose in the event a side wins. Cheers! CBCT- With the odds that you have posted you are comparing a 2 way line to a 3 way line.
There is 2 and 3 way betting in boxing 1x2 = 3 way betting although most of the time books only use two way betting with a draw offered separately. http://www.odds1x2.com/Boxing/International/Odds/s_-alvarez-vs-erislandy-lara/

What started out as a 2 man operation a year ago has now grown into a well run skunkworks team that includes Support Personnel, Developers, Testers, and Marketing resources. While this growth has resulted in small, gradual increases in our expenses, we believe that the work these folks are doing daily will result in a better CasinoBitco.in product and brand.

Hi CBCT. Upgrade was done a while ago.
We wouldn't have said anything about this upgrade, but since CasinoBitco.in came to advertise themselves and brag about this upgrade in our own thread, we were left with no choice but to respond. CasinoBitco.in raises funds on Havelock Investments for their operations and as such are required to publish their earning reports. https://www.havelockinvestments.com/reports.phpIf you sum up their Sportsbook earnings since they started reporting on September 2013, you will see that they lost approx. 70 BTC to date, and that's just from bets, before you factor in operational expenses. Perhaps Peeps Place can explain why he is upgrading a Sportsbook that lost money from bets since its inception ?
Are you feeling confident depositing Bitcoins to a Sportsbook that is losing money Did you read the report? Look at June. Today CasinoBitco.in reports its operationsal report for June 2014. Despite being one of the slower months of the year between March Madness and the start of NFL season, June was an exciting one for CasinoBitco.in, with excellent progress in many critical areas where we’ve underperformed in past months. We are proud to report revenues of 52.71 BTC across all the CasinoBitco.in properties. The highlight of the month has certainly been the action of the World Cup where we’ve been able to capitalize on our new thirdparty odds provider to offer excellent liquid markets with the best limits & vig for our players while also limiting our downside risk!

Casinobitcoin raised from C+ to B-.
Casinobitcoin had the top rating for a book in business less than 1 year. Casinobitcoin has now met the criteria for an upgrade. the next 6 months to build the largest and best Bitcoin Gaming network around.

Reminder- This is a players thread although books are free to post. We want information from books but do not want a book to turn this into a book vs. book war. Please make posts pertaining to your own book. The posters can compare and bash books.

Hi CBCT. Upgrade was done a while ago. Check the thread and feel free to post anything that's new with you guys. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448302.1120Top 3 "A" rated books Anonibet A (2011)

I haven't used Directbet (I usually use casinobitcoin or betcoinsports) but I've been checking up on this thread to see about using them in the future and from what I've seen DB didn't do anything wrong in regards to ts11111's bet. Isn't it well known that transfers from coinbase can be delayed? Looking at all the evidence I can't see anything that shows DB did anything wrong here, they clearly showed when the transfer was actually received which was 7 minutes later. Considering the way in which they operate (no deposits) I probably wouldn't use them for live bets but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use them for betting in advance.
As far as peepsplace is concerned, I'm sorry but I just can't trust a poster from a site who solicits ad revenue from books and then rates/promotes them. Also the emails from them look suspicious as well. Why would you charge all other books 2 BTC a month yet you offered DB 1 BTC a month, something doesn't seem right.
Directbet was 1 BTC + 1% commission on volume. I realize that you don't know me from Adam but I've owned a couple of cash gambling websites, turned down lots of advertisers, taken banners down voluntarily forfeiting money when it looked like they were having problems and I paid players from my own pocket that were stiffed by BetOnSports because they had a banner up at my forum. The BoS stiff job cost me some good coin. To my knowledge, no other forum has ever paid players that were stiffed by an advertiser. If you have so much faith in your advertisers, will you cover any problems arising from Cloudbet, Anonibet, and Nitrogen? And why do you post as Peeps Place if you don't run it? How are you affiliated with them? I've been posting at peepsplace since 2003. I'm a forum junkie. I also post at other cash forums such as SBR, EOG, RX, MW. If you have a disagreement with the ratings, then please tell me the book and why. My disagreement is with a poster with the same name as a site who solicits ad revenue from books, looks to be bashing a book just because they decided not to place ads on that site. I've seen issues with Anonibet such as this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=672929.0 which is considerably more than ts11111's wager. Will peepsplace cover his winnings if Anonibet doesn't? I understand why you think the ratings are biased and I would too. I never bashed DirectBet because they didn't pay to advertise. DirectBet went into the thread that I started for the ratings and bashed me for a week straight. I just returned volley. Almost all of what he says is untrue.

DirectBet is a great if you just want a sportsbook. They are not a full casino.
why do you consider them a great out? I like not having to sign up an account. I don't want to keep coins on a site, seen too many "site hacked and all coins taken" threads. DirectBet offers a ton of different betting options, including in-game betting. I bet on mcxNOW, I like the personal touch of betting with someone and chatting with them. But, they are not available 24/7, so DirectBet fulfills the anytime aspect. Plus, as I mentioned, the customer support is A+++! Very friendly, very clear. They make sure to resolve misunderstandings above and beyond what most companies would. Anyway...it is what it is. I like the site. Hope that answers your question. thanks for the answer. I'm always interested in players feedback.

I know that bitcoin players don't know the poster Reagan, but his reputation is impeccable and he runs the show at Peepsplace. The forum peepsplace opened in 2003. There are many pay per ratings forums such as SBR but that's not how things work at Peepsplace.

why do you consider them a great out? They offer more options than every other bitcoin sportsbook. I'm not sure what you mean by options. Are you talking markets or prop bets and derivatives?

I think what separates DirectBet from the others is their amazing customer support. I mean, if a person doesn't know what they are doing and they don't understand the type of bet, they can always ask DirectBet support how to best place the type of bet that the person wants. Sometimes a person is not smart enough to ask to understand the type of bet they are placing and may end up losing out on .59 (just as an example), but most people understand what they are doing.
Here are my feelings on the type of bets offered by DirectBet. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding it. Flexible odds: Not a good choice since the player makes a bet guessing on the odds that he will get. Negotiable odds: Not a good choice since your bet is on hold until you get the odds that you want. The negative feature is that the score/time/position changes and you still have your bet open. The bet can be filled before you have time to cancel. Firm odds: This is the best way to go if bets are confirmed immediately as they are with other books. Albeit not always DirectBet's fault, your bet may not be confirmed for an hour and the player's bet cannot be canceled during this time.

Please post here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448302.0 if you have any book information that you would like to add to help in determining ratings. If you have any disagreements with the ratings, please post that too. The thread contains information on all books. Posters and books are invited to post. Thanks Did you do a rating on the betting at https://mcxnow.com/ ? That's an interesting site but we only rate the sportsbooks.
