I haven't used Directbet (I usually use casinobitcoin or betcoinsports) but I've been checking up on this thread to see about using them in the future and from what I've seen DB didn't do anything wrong in regards to ts11111's bet. Isn't it well known that transfers from coinbase can be delayed? Looking at all the evidence I can't see anything that shows DB did anything wrong here, they clearly showed when the transfer was actually received which was 7 minutes later. Considering the way in which they operate (no deposits) I probably wouldn't use them for live bets but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use them for betting in advance.
As far as peepsplace is concerned, I'm sorry but I just can't trust a poster from a site who solicits ad revenue from books and then rates/promotes them. Also the emails from them look suspicious as well. Why would you charge all other books 2 BTC a month yet you offered DB 1 BTC a month, something doesn't seem right.

Directbet was 1 BTC + 1% commission on volume. I realize that you don't know me from Adam but I've owned a couple of cash gambling websites, turned down lots of advertisers, taken banners down voluntarily forfeiting money when it looked like they were having problems and I paid players from my own pocket that were stiffed by BetOnSports because they had a banner up at my forum. The BoS stiff job cost me some good coin. To my knowledge, no other forum has ever paid players that were stiffed by an advertiser.

I know that bitcoin players don't know the poster Reagan, but his reputation is impeccable and he runs the show at Peepsplace. The forum peepsplace opened in 2003. There are many pay per ratings forums such as SBR but that's not how things work at Peepsplace.

I don't see what is so hard to understand....... 1) They received my bet, and it went to the negotiate state. 2) I checked the current odds, and they were the same 5.6 as they were when I ordered the bet. Yet my transfer was received and put in a negotiate state instead of being confirmed instantly upon receipt. 3) 2 minutes passed, and the odds dropped from 5.6 to 2.8. They held my bet in a negotiate state even though my minimum odds (5.6) were still available!!!!!

DirectBet is a great if you just want a sportsbook. They are not a full casino.
why do you consider them a great out? I like not having to sign up an account. I don't want to keep coins on a site, seen too many "site hacked and all coins taken" threads. DirectBet offers a ton of different betting options, including in-game betting. I bet on mcxNOW, I like the personal touch of betting with someone and chatting with them. But, they are not available 24/7, so DirectBet fulfills the anytime aspect. Plus, as I mentioned, the customer support is A+++! Very friendly, very clear. They make sure to resolve misunderstandings above and beyond what most companies would. Anyway...it is what it is. I like the site. Hope that answers your question.

They held my bet in a negotiate state even though my minimum odds (5.6) were still available!!!!! I'm just going by the verifiable evidence that was posted. Considering the volatility of odds on live betting I find it a little hard to believe the odds would stay the same for almost 10 minutes. These are just my opinions on this matter.

I've seen issues with Anonibet such as this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=672929.0 which is considerably more than ts11111's wager. Will peepsplace cover his winnings if Anonibet doesn't?

DirectBet went into the thread that I started for the ratings and bashed me for a week straight. I just returned volley. Almost all of what he says is untrue.

Hi Peeps and thanks for upgrading us to a B. Boxing isn't like Soccer, which has 3-way lines. In boxing if you bet on a side and the result is a DRAW, you get your money back. The ridiculous +2900 that Cloudbet has listed is if you want to bet the DRAW, in which you would lose in the event a side wins. Cheers! CBCT- With the odds that you have posted you are comparing a 2 way line to a 3 way line.
