Books have to pay "street tax" or else. You have to shake down these books.

On a serious note you can look at other ratings guides here at BCT or elsewhere, DirectBet is not listed very high. They were thought to be a good book at one time. It seems that the influx of new books and consistent improvements of other books have taken a toll on DirectBet.

DirectBet is very misleading when he posts my emails. Plugs are at other cash forums in promotional sections, not bitcointalk.

Just a hobby for me as I like to post at gambling forums with other gamblers.  I'm just counter-punching DirectBet's poll. I like his poll and would even vote conflict of interest especially since he is wrong on how he posted the question.

1. Ratings went up.
2. The top books at the time were asked to advertise at Peepsplace for promotion on cash forums.
3. Posters wanted the ratings to be more stringent so caps were place upon time in business. Most book ratings were lowered.
4. Some of the "D" and now "F" books asked to advertise and we said, "no".

Cloudbet has a banner at Peepsplace.com. I bashed them here at bitcointalk because their World Cup contest is impossible to win.

Books or players - Feel free to post about any World Cup contests. I'm going to try to go through them all later. Cloudbet is putting up 100 BTC but it's nearly impossible to win

Sometimes a person is not smart enough to ask to understand the type of bet they are placing and may end up losing out on .59 (just as an example), but most people understand what they are doing.

I selected a negotiate bet. DB received the bet, and it stayed in the negotiate state while my minimum set odds were still available. According to DB, these should be confirmed instantly. How can my bet sit in the negotiate state for 2 minutes while I refresh the odds in a different tab and they are still available at my minimum odds?

Here are my feelings on the type of bets offered by DirectBet. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding it.

Flexible odds: Not a good choice since the player makes a bet guessing on the odds that he will get.

Negotiable odds: Not a good choice since your bet is on hold until you get the odds that you want. The negative feature is that the score/time/position changes and you still have your bet open. The bet can be filled before you have time to cancel.

Firm odds: This is the best way to go if bets are confirmed immediately as they are with other books. Albeit not always DirectBet's fault, your bet may not be confirmed for an hour and the player's bet cannot be canceled during this time.

I'm not sure what you mean by options. Are you talking markets or prop bets and derivatives?
