Your stake split threshold is 500 EMC, as the screenshot shows.

You can double check it with Console
Code:
getstakesplitthreshold

Adjust your stake split threshold
Code:
setstakesplitthreshold TypetheNumberOfCoinsForEachChunk
Doing this will help you to split your stakeable coins into different chunks. It has Pros and Cons, you must experience it by yourself.
3282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Deflation, economy - inflation. Connect dots and end the FUD on: July 14, 2021, 12:03:12 AM
Is it a reason satoshi created Bitcoin in 2009?
No, because Satoshi started working on Bitcoin long before the 2008 crisis, so unless Satoshi is a time traveler or can see the future, he couldn't know about the coming crisis. Satoshi created Bitcoin, because having a decentralized currency was a goal of cypherpunks since the 90s, and there were many attempts at that, and Satoshi used their experience and ideas to create Bitcoin.
Although I know there are preparation before the launch and the history behind Bitcoin, any launch or debut need to be done at right time. The 2008 crisis brought good conditions for satoshi to launched the Bitcoin's Genesis block.

Quote
There are always people who say that the crisis is coming soon, but if everyone listened to them and lived in fear all the time, there would be no investing and business activity. That would indeed be a crisis.
You're partially right. It is proven by the pandemic announcement by WHO's press conference and the terrible crash of all markets globally, exclusively Bitcoin market, in March 2020.

It is how people react shortly after news is published. Long run, they will be calm and think deeper, it is reflected on Bitcoin growth since March 2020 to early months 2021.
3283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit hunting! on: July 13, 2021, 03:09:51 PM
This is the merit ruling even if you just laugh with haha in a reply one could still get amount of merits depending on the one who gave the merits.
You are absolutely wrong about how merit should be used.

You can see some people use merit in the way that is not recommended but it does not represents correctly.
Merit & new rank requirements. Read that topic and I believe most of people follow the guide from theymos.

Generally, merit system works since 2018: to prevent spammers rank up; to help good members rank up higher.

I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.

While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.

Do not beg for merit excessively.

If you make ten thousand posts in a week, your activity will be capped and you will still be a Newbie. If you make ten thousand useless posts over any period of time, you will gain zero merit and you will still be a Newbie. You can rank up only by making good posts consistently. It's quality over quantity.

When trying to write quality posts, a lot of people act as though they're writing a book report for school: putting facts that we already know into their own words. Nobody wants to read that, and you will not get merit for it. Moreover, the length of your post and the quality of your English are only minor factors. In trying to write a quality post worthy of merit, you should offer new ideas, personal experiences, or perspectives that other forum users will actually find new and interesting.

3286  Other / Meta / Re: [Guide] Searching effectively on: July 13, 2021, 09:31:50 AM
Tranthidung, I have no doubt that this thread is in the bookmarks of many, but it seems to me that you should think about adding a couple of lines about searching using ninjastic.space. TryNinja regularly pleases with various new features, so I, to some extent, have already forgotten how to use basic search, since I use NS on an ongoing basis, (I will not go into details, as I suppose you are already well acquainted with his creation). Wink
My purpose is searching with forum features, not with third-party tools. So I did not mention websites from BPIP, LoyceClub and TryNinja. Obviously that if people use the forum regularly, they will know and love those websites.

Anyway, thanks for your heads up.
3287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Deflation, economy - inflation. Connect dots and end the FUD on: July 12, 2021, 10:15:52 AM
I think you have to listen to Kiyosaki, because he knows what he is talking about, but you may not agree with him. He was already announcing the crash some time ago and when he did not come he said that he could not imagine the massive printing of central banks to avoid the crash. That he has changed his mind about Bitcoin is no reason to disqualify him. Many have, and welcome they are.
It is great vision! He has it.

Massive QEs, money printing only make the crash worse, not to avoid it.

When will it happen? Who knows but it will and the vision of Kiyosaki is correct, in my opinion. Have you ever thought of the vision of satoshi? It takes about 1 decade to become great like what we witnessed in 2020.
3288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Deflation, economy - inflation. Connect dots and end the FUD on: July 12, 2021, 08:40:54 AM
Since when a conman like Robert Kiyosaki is viewed as an authority in the field of macroeconomics?
I don't mind about it, and when? A valuable opinion is a valuable one and it does not matter who says it and when.

Quote
I remember what Kiyosaki said years ago.He said that Bitcoin is a "shiny object",which didn't sound very positive
Everyone can change, has freedom to change our mind. It is basic human right. Additionally, Kiyosaki has never said bad about Bitcoin. Have you ever read one of his book, The second chance? I don't remember at what page, but in the book, when he was asked, he simply said, I don't know much about Bitcoin. That's it. Frankly enough. After a few years, and after what he observed in 2017 and 2018, he decided to become a Bitcoin supporter since 2018 or 2019.

Quote
Now,he says "buy more Bitcoin". I can assume, that he might be a skeptic, who evolved into a believer in the power of Bitcoin, but I still don't trust this guy.
Why not? Moreover, Kiyosaki is an investor or hodler, not trader and he does not care too much about short term changes. Obviously, he has enough experience to wait patiently for good entries.

Quote
High inflation is coming, but we shouldn't put so much trust into some "preachers of the Apocalypse".
There were famous people, who kept preaching about an upcoming "major crash" or "the biggest financial crash of all times" during the last decades.Such crash never happened. There's a small chance for such crash to happen, but also there's a chance of a fast and rapid recovery of the global economy after the pandemic.
Don't rely on him. Look at two main things we can have
  • CPI index (in OP)
  • Massive QEs, money printing from governments since the pandemic
3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The essential attributes of Bitcoin:Bitcoin is a database. on: July 12, 2021, 05:50:38 AM
The biggest attributed contribution of Bitcoin is Being a game-changer and changes the world.

Without Bitcoin appearance in 2009 and its contribution, we might not have the crypto market as big as nowadays (of course, it's still smaller than other markets) and the blockchain technology would have yet appeared or have yet achieved what it has now.

For technical aspects, I think we can skip them here. Simply said, Bitcoin changed the world, from individual to governmental, national aspects.
3290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to remember when joining bounty campaign. on: July 12, 2021, 05:15:04 AM
What I say today can be different from what I said in the past because I have more experience, my posting style changed, and more.

Here, I quote part of my advice in the past that I believe it is more relevant for low-ranked members.
Let's check it out
(2) Spending most of your time to read and learn
Only start composing your posts when you have something extremely constructive to discussions, topics.
Reasons:
- You are noobs, newbies (lack of knowledge, and experience), so what you think are constructive most likely unconstructive in reality.
- When you actually have reasons to start composing your posts, after finishing it, please re-read again and again to check that your posts are good in grammar, vocabularies, and good enough to express most of your ideas. I wrote most of your ideas because sometimes it is difficult for non-native English speakers to write down and completely express ideas by words. It's a challenge for non-native English speakers, who don't have English as their mother tongue.

(4) Never mind of bounties, campaigns when you are noobs
Reasons:
- Campaigns are there, open then close, then others open and close, from time to time. You should never worry that you miss this chance, that chance, this campaign, that campaign, something like this.
It is the same as merits. Lots of users complain that merits are rare, I can not get merits due to it is rare. Nope, merits (more exactly, sMerits - sendable merits) are available, everywhere in the forum. There are so many merit sources, normal users, who have lots of sMerits readily to send out. They kept them partially due to quality posts are rare, not sMerits.
- Instead of paying too much attention, and time on hunting for bounties, especially bounties that have easy rules and joinable for low rank users; you should start learning, reading, and build up your accounts.
When you hit your finish lines, it's time for you to seriously think of joining bounties.

(6) Spend your time to improve your English, especially Reading and Writing skills
Reasons:
- If you can not read posts or topic in English well, can not get ideas of posts' / topics' authors, it means that you have nothing to do in the forum.
Remember that you have to get their ideas well enough to not misunderstand their core ideas.
- Next, after reading good enough to catch authors' ideas, it is time for you to express your own ideas in case you have something to ask for help, something to discuss, or something meaningful to help others. This is the time you need to have good enough Writing skill.
This is why I mentioned you should improve your English skills, step by step, from Reading to Writing. Of course, you can improve both skills simultaneously.
The forum is the place almost solely for discussions via Reading and Writing.
You can find available sources for English learning in the References at the end of this OP.

Robert T. Kiyosaki mentioned about hyper inflation many times, and more regularly since 2020. Below is his latest tweet
Quote
The best time to prepare for a crash is before the crash. The biggest crash in world history is coming. The good news is the best time to get rich is during a crash. Bad news is the next crash will be a long one. Get more gold, silver, and Bitcoin while you can.  Take care.

In an article from BitcoinMagazine, the US. inflation rate U.S. Inflation hits highest rate since 2008, outlining case for Bitcoin
You can get the original chart -- 12-monhth percentage change, Consumer Price Index, all items there
Quote
The consumer price index (CPI), a measure of the price of consumer goods and services, increased by an annual rate of 5% last month, hitting its highest mark since August 2008, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Is it a reason satoshi created Bitcoin in 2009?

Now, it is your time to connect dots, think of it in macro view and make your decisions.

Be yourself, with your own opinion and being immuned from FUD.

3297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility Indicator on: July 11, 2021, 02:23:14 AM
Wow, another cool source and data, I can also the fees data here and especially I am more looking into Ethereum/Ethereum network.
So, as you said "13 UTC to 18 UTC is the best time", by this means, if the average hourly fee, that's the time that there more high chances that the price is stable (non-volatile)?
I got troubles with Ethereum data in the past and can manage to run analysis on my computer with 1-month data only.

13 UTC to 18 UTC is the result from my analysis for Bitcoin transaction fee, not for Ethereum's but you can see those articles found similar things on Ethereum network.

Transaction fees have inversed correlation with trading activities and probably price movements as well.
  • 13 UTC - 18 UTC is worst hours everyday to move your Bitcoin.
  • See the table for second part, intra-day.
  • My methodology is:
    • I calculated
      • Average transaction fees over every specific hour within every day
      • Average transaction fee of each day
    • Compare [1] to [2], then get that table
    • Similar methodology for intra-week
  • So it might result in the potential best hours to enjoy more volatility on the market. Just my guess.

I found my previous post by which I said my troubles to export data from Trading view. If you know how to do this, please share.

I've listed various options how to improve table quality in my topic: Some suggestions if you want to use tables on Bitcointalk
I remember you have a topic or post (?) in German about websites to upload images. I forgot to bookmark that one so would you mind sharing it again, please.

It is helpful for the topic as well and sometimes people would like to have multiple choices or need alternative when their favorite does not work. Obviously, imgur seems to be the best to use on the forum.  Smiley

Questions are unclear

What crypto do you have?

I have the saved key and have absolutely no idea what to do with.
What kind of key do you have?
  • Private key of your Bitcoin?
  • Key of your 2FA?
For [1], simply import the private key into a non-custodial wallet, such as Electrum or Bitcoin Core

However, i have seen that one is allowed to have more than one 2fa attached to an account.  Can i attach fresh 2fa (i.e Last Pass Authenticator?)
You will be asked 2FA 6 numbers before you can disable your current 2FA and set up a new one.

and enter the private key that way?
If what you ask is about a Bitcoin wallet with 2FA, you can simply import the private key into a new wallet, in that case, you won't need to enter 2FA code just to get access to that wallet.

My finding tends to match with

I remember I run a pilot analysis for @fillipone elsewhere about price and time for a few weeks of data (I don't remember where it is now).
