2301  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Features of fake/scam AirDrops on: April 29, 2022, 01:31:48 AM
I could remember my Pi Network Coin experience, and I must say it's one thing I will ever forget because though I have done many airdrops, that was only the first airdrop I devoted my whole time to, and finally ended up with no value after months of active mining. It is heartbroken and ever since then, I told myself never to take part in any airdrop no matter how lucrative it me seems
If you read resources about Pi Coin Network, you will smell something wrong with this one.

I don't know how newbies can believe it is actually a cryptocurrency and has decentralization characteristics. Lot of components of Pi make it is more similar to a scam coin than a good one.

In addition, let's think if there is no input to mine Pi, how will it have value on the market? No online miner, no staker, no node, etc. how transaction can be confirmed and safely ? More terrible technical factors to call it as a fake and scam cryptocurrency. DYOR.
2302  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Concern on time spent my phone & pc due to crypto and btt, is this good or bad? on: April 28, 2022, 02:46:52 AM
I have noticed an increased time spent on both my phone and computer... is this a good habit that I'm about to begin? Or should I continue to regulate the time I spend with my phone and computer.
You should not spend most of your time online. It is not good for your physical health as well as mental health.

Let's plan your time to hang out with friends, family; or do physical activities which are good for both of your physical and mental health. When your brain is fresh as effects from physical activities, you can learn and work better, more effectively and productively.

Total time you spent for a work does not decide a quality of what you finish with it.
2303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stop Spaming and making Red Trust on Baseless Facts. on: April 28, 2022, 01:52:39 AM
Well in First time i created account started working then got some money then i thought to Share this work with family consider it another account if you want to make more profits.
Use multiple accounts to cheat in campaigns, bounties are not allowed according to forum rules and most of campaigns/ bounties. From reference of your trust feedback, I think your case has valid proof of cheating.

Quote
Then after months my both accounts got banned and i cane to know its against Rules. I said ok i was on rank jr member.
When one or few of your accounts is (are) banned permanently, others should be banned permanently. Because you are banned as a person, not as an account. Ban violation will result in permanent ban of your other accounts.

Quote
Then i studied BTT how it works then i started a new account which is this one and made a number of Quality and Informative Posts you can check yourself in my profile.

Made 75 merits with high efforts and Started bounty work again and then i came to know that you this account is linked with previous one. Its a valid point i know that but Did i made multiple Registration those accounts are Shut Down you can check No posts after that day.
Sorry. I don't see quality from your posts. Most of your posts are in bounties and news sharing.
2304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Features of fake/scam AirDrops on: April 28, 2022, 01:31:45 AM
1: any airdrop that "have no end" they often runs for 2/3 months, majority are not true.  real airdrops don't last more than a month.
Depends on location of airdrop. If an airdrop is hosted on a third-party website such as Coinmarketcap, Coingecko, etc. it should have a period. However, if airdrop is hosted by a project website itself, it can last as long as they want.

Quote
2:  95% of airdrop given to "all participants" is not real. Normal airdrop is mainly for a limited number for top referrals.
You misunderstood between airdrop and referral bonus. Some airdrop campaigns can be distributed to random addresses or top holders of that project or of partner project. Possibly top referrers if they want but I have never known about it.

Quote
3: Any airdrop promising you high amount of their token equivalent  $5000, $10,000 or even more without through referral bonus may not be real. Real airdrops don't give such amount, unless you are claiming on  their site where you pay gas fee,
Sounds correct.

However you should know that sometimes they just try to play with words and want to create hooks for their airdrop campaigns.
2305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Never store your coin on exchange!!! on: April 28, 2022, 01:00:10 AM
"Not your keys, not your coins". It is a classic mantra in crypto.
Exchanges can be hacked or can do scam exits by themselves. You don't know when hack or scam exit happens and in case of hack, whether exchange will do compensate for customers. Let's check

2307  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think top exchange listing news should be hidden on: April 27, 2022, 05:25:17 AM
Personally, there are many reasons I disagree with your opinion
  • It's against freedom of speech.
  • People are free to expose to news and how they filter news, how they verify it and how they response to news. It's freedom of own research and reaction
  • Exchanges should do their due diligent research to avoid scam projects but in the end, their priority is get as much income from traders on their platforms as possible.
  • I see people are too easily to call a project as a scam one only because they are in pain with their investment. It's not true. You can in pain or in gain with any type of investment and your temporary investment result does not decide a project is a scam one or a good one
2308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity is offering 401(k) investors access to bitcoin on: April 27, 2022, 05:09:35 AM
Currently, there are bigger institutional investors than Fidelity [1]. Things can change in future but we can not assume that Fidelity can grow faster than Micro Strategy, Grayscale, Tesla etc. in Bitcoin adoption and total value of investment into Bitcoin from their institute and their investors.

I think it is a good news from Fidelity but after 5 years in the market, news can be real or unreal and we have to wait for real implementation to confirm that news is true. In addition, there are many barriers technically to implement their plan to real things.

2309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Gen Z on: April 27, 2022, 01:36:20 AM
For now, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and mostly a millennials.

Generation Z people are still studying, they are just kids or having their first jobs. They do not have money to invest yet.

Anyway, it is very likely that cryptocurrencies are still going to be around in 5-10 years, when Gen z are going to be working and making money and investments.

We can see that younger generations are more willing to invest in stocks and cryptocurrencies than older gen
It is how the world grows and changes with time, over different generations. Younger generations will create and be important parts of growth in new trends, new eras. They will control new trends, new games and collect capital from older generations over time.

Quote
The graphics is informative and shows the fact. The younger people are, the higher risk acceptance they have. It is true from stocks to cryptocurrencies.

Gen Z people will be energy for growth of not only Bitcoin but also cryptocurrency in general. The demographic changes is fast but in my expectation. People who are curious about it, please check
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 27, 2022, 01:29:14 AM
From 50M followers, within one year, total followers of Elon Musk account on Twitter rises to over 80M. That's amazing and we can know how big impact his tweets can have on the crowd, not only restrict among his followers. Because from his followers, they will spread his tweets to more people globally, in seconds and short period.

Elon and Tesla have big impacts on Bitcoin but just short term. It's stupid to say they don't have any impact on Bitcoin because of total followers of Elon, and total Bitcoin owned by Tesla [1]. Currently, they own 43,200 BTC that is not a biggest amount among other whales. However, they have biggest followers on Twitter and with tweeting style of Elon, he can make surprising tweets to shill or dump Bitcoin.

Anyway, don't over FOMO or over panic with Elon tweets is my advice. Bitcoin will rise in long run because of its finite total supply that is repeatedly mentioned over social media. Don't fall into FOMO before and after each halving because you already know that information. Make your plans and accumulate Bitcoin until 99.2% of its total supply will be mined after the end of 2032-2036 epoch era. [2]

2311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Crypto Mistake on: April 26, 2022, 05:34:09 AM
I don't call any people who sold their Bitcoin or cryptocurrency to take profit and by something to enjoy their lives from car to real estate or other assets are stupid or make mistakes.

It is only meaningful for your life if you can enjoy it. Owning 1 or 10 Bitcoin or millions of dollar in altcoins and never sell it to take profit, enjoy life are something wrong. I don't recommend to do so. Because you can not know what will happen in future. So make sure when you see a good profit, take it, enjoy your life but also make sure to reserve part of your portfolio for higher All time highs. If new ATHs reach, ok you can take profit and get more money. If there is no new All time high, nothing is wrong, you already have profit in hands and actually enjoy your life with your profit.
2312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk buys Twitter on: April 26, 2022, 02:51:52 AM
It seems that Twitter board are more friendly with the offer from Elon Musk and they are seriously taken into consideration Elon's offer to sell Twitter. On top of that, it looks like Elon Musk wants to rebuild Twitter for a freedom of speech, at least for now it is what we know.

I wish him luck to buy Twitter successfully. In case he fails, there is another social media platform for him, it's ccfound. Let's watch and read the letter from ccFOUND's CEO Piotr Michalak

  • Elon - watch this video
  • I don't know that Elon is aware about ccFOUND or not but I see the core idea behind ccFOUND Portal is perfectly matched with what Elon is looking for
  • You can follow Piotr's Twitter for more updates from him
2313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Save some money on Exchange Fees (Newbies should read this) on: April 26, 2022, 02:28:28 AM
There are different fees on exchanges, here you only mentioned about Maker/ Taker fees. There are more such as Deposit fee, Withdrawal fee. Even with Taker / Maker fee, exchanges usually charge different fee according to Tier of specific user.

In the past, exchanges charge Deposit fee but honestly I don't know whether there are exchanges charge such fee publicly now. However, they combine it and silently charge it in Withdrawal fee that is just a name-calling. In fact, withdrawal fee contains Deposit fee (for input consolidation), Maintenance fee, withdrawal fee and on-chain transaction fee.

Let's read my topic on the ridiculous withdrawal fee and how exchanges get profit from it.
2314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Coinbase noncustododial wallet recommendable? on: April 25, 2022, 05:46:15 AM
Everything in life have two sides, pros and cons. For beginners, who don't know how Bitcoin works, it's not too bad for them to begin with centralized wallets or custodial wallets. It is good enough if we consider it in terms of convenience and early gates for them to expose to and get access to Bitcoin. The convenient use helps them to get very first experience which will be important to keep them staying or leaving.

Points are, what will they do after first experience with centralized exchanges or custodial wallets ? Only few of them will be exposed to good resources on DEX, non-custodial wallets and reasons why they should use such ones.

It's not too good to expose newbies with complicated things that possibly barriers for their access to Bitcoin. As old Bitcoin users, I feel it is easy (and I believe you feel the same) to use non-custodial wallets, from creation to backup, recovery, broadcast transaction, customize fee, etc. but I do know how complicated it looks like at beginning.
2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First African country adopts Bitcoin as official currency on: April 25, 2022, 05:31:08 AM
Take El Salvador for example. It is a tiny country with one of the weakest economies in the world that doesn't even have its own currency (their national currency is US dollar!) they didn't dump USD, they just added an additional option called bitcoin. Suddenly previously known democracy is no longer referred to as a "democracy" by the propaganda machine known as media and there are mass protests for no reason in El Salvador against Bukele government!!!
El Salvador is a good example because we can see how early hype in that nation occurs and how it disappears months later. It is more easily for their citizens to accept Bitcoin in early days that combined with the bullish market. Who don't like to receive Bitcoin and months later, it has a double value. Oppositely, it is less acceptable for them (as non-Bitcoiners) to take Bitcoin from customer payments and months later, its value is halved.

There are minor proportion of their citizens successfully converted from non-Bitcoiners to Bitcoiners by legal tender in that nation. I am not optimistic but I believe it's just a minority of El Salvadorians have become Bitcoiners in last 2 years.
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First African country adopts Bitcoin as official currency on: April 25, 2022, 05:24:55 AM
The minister of digital economy, post services and telecommunications, Gourna Zacko, and the minister of finance and budget, Calixte Nganongo, initiated and submitted the draft law establishing both the legal framework for cryptocurrency regulation and Bitcoin as an official currency in the Central African Republic.[/i]
From draft laws to official one and fully implementation of it nationwide are a long journey. In order to have a fully implementation and adoption, it requires lot of things, from national infrastructures by governments to easy access to Bitcoin for their citizens. If governments can implement the first part, then second part will play its role to convince citizens to use Bitcoin or reject it.

Convenient access and use cases for Bitcoin nationwide will be keys to convince citizens. Personally I don't think that process will be easily built in short term.
2317  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stay away from coinsbit on: April 25, 2022, 03:27:01 AM
Coinsbit has very low processing time for withdrawal request. From my experience, it takes up to a few days with several rejection. Eventually, my withdrawal request was approved and proceeded by Coinsbit. However, it was done after I created support ticket on website and pinged their team on Telegram.

I did not know why several of my withdrawal requests were rejected. Honestly, I did not lose money on Coinsbit but it is a bad experience on my side. First, it takes too much time to receive my coin from withdrawal; second, there is unknown reason why my requests were not approved easily.
2318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Transfer 500 Sats (0.000005 BTC) via MainNet in 2022 on: April 25, 2022, 03:22:11 AM
You can send your Bitcoin at the min fee rate at 1 satoshi/ vbyte. Depends on how small or big your transaction size is, you will have to pay different transaction fee. Transaction size depends on your input and output, address and transaction type (P2PKH, P2SH, Bech32)

Let's use the tool from Bitcoindata.science. Type number of input, output, address format and you will get the transaction size. You can try and see that there is good chance for you to make that transaction with total input at 500 satoshis and transaction fee would be around 200 satoshis.

You should learn about security too. Because cryptocurrency is on digital environment so there are risk of hacks, wallet compromise etc. To be safe, you must have good knowledge about security and good practice in order to keep your devices as cleanest as possible.

Practice well will help you to prevent unexpected harmful exposure of your devices to potential threats.
