3281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven??? on: May 18, 2022, 08:39:44 PM
I think nobody has said that investing in bitcoin can be considered as a safe haven as most people especially businessmen really knew how volatile the market is, and actually, no such investment in this God's green earth is a safe haven even stock and real estate. But bitcoin can be used as a safeguard against inflation.
Many did but the context is about being a safe haven from those manipulation that could lead the other tokens to zero or the popular call we have today as rug pull. 2018 and past below those years, there's no term yet for that but an exit. And as for bitcoin, it's a safe haven from all of those potential exits since there's no more satoshi that have shown up and there's no central power that can just dump all at once. But, there are the whales that can still manipulate the market but it's not going there as exits that will pull the value of it nearly zero.
3282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA be recovered ever? on: May 18, 2022, 07:53:21 PM
To be honest, I wanted to buy some when it dropped to $1. But I didn't. Even if it was unsuccessful, it could have been a good try at the time. But today it went down to zero. In this market, trust means everything. Luna has completely shattered people's trust. After this time, nobody trusts Luna again. At least I wouldn't trust it. Smiley
Yup, and that trust is no longer with the people that have looked how good it was before. But today, not anymore.
It's completely a different situation right now and people are no longer willing to throw huge money on this. For pennies, that's what I'm seeing and that's an amount that everyone afford to lose and maybe they can hit jackpot but, they've already accepted that it's a loss for them.
3283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Zero wallet on: May 17, 2022, 08:43:52 PM
How possible is it to start up and get started btc with a zero wallet account ,is it possible or is there a way to generate small profit without any from of money in wallet and zero account ,many companies claims to operate a zero robot account how possible is it ,isnt it audio money?.
Where have you heard that 'zero robots'? That sounds new to me or it's just another term of those people that have said it to you or that you've read for the term bot in trading. Well, actually, it's possible to really earn even if you don't have capital but you have to remember that nothing comes free now in the market unless you're willing to trade for something and it's like trading your service for crypto. And once you're all set and you have money now, that's where you're going to start either in trading or investing.
3284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 17, 2022, 07:56:31 PM
They should but, there are those governments that would also look on their own terms and understand even if the people won't speak about it. Whether they see nothing wrong with it but based on the morals of what the government can see, they'll have to act on it.
There's a legal and due process to everything and it's still the government that will tell whether a go or stop signal must be done by their initiatives.
If such petition would come into a certain extent where its already that rampant or just too big for it to get some concern then they might really be considering it out but it would only be just good on a certain

county and it wont really be that global decision because each country does have its own juridictions on things when it comes on imposing laws and regulations.

If there are places who do mind much about animal cruelty then its up to their government on what would be their taking into this scenario.
Yeah, definitely not a global decision. It's just going to be country to country unless there's a world organization like ISO. They have to put it on a standard and most countries that are part of that organization should follow that. If there's an order of disallowing it because of the cruelty that it imposes. Everyone who's part of this international body will have to obey that order so that there's going to be peace and order or any mission and vision that they have as a motto and goal.
3285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is scarcer than gold. on: May 17, 2022, 02:02:47 PM
There's always the unstoppable comparison between bitcoin and gold. I agree with the argument that bitcoin is scarcer than gold and the fact that it's near to the supply limit but, it will take a hundred years before the last bitcoin is mined.
But the world isn't yet ready for its massive adoption or if it does, we're already starting to see that progress. I'd say that bitcoin is a more convenient asset class than gold.
3286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Epic 99% Terra Luna Crash... An Inside Job or A Product of Pure Stupidity? on: May 17, 2022, 11:02:47 AM
How about the combination of both ends of investors and the developer's incompetence? I've seen a post about Binance's $1.6B total asset on Luna and then they've said that it's just now about $3000.
What the heck is with that trust from them? A total no hope from that amount of investment and I've seen CZ commenting on the recovery plan of Do Kwon and he said that the fork isn't the solution and it's not going to help.
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 16, 2022, 10:27:16 PM
There can also be times when the government changes their minds. It's because it's no longer healthy not just for their citizen but also for their country.
When there's a petition like in horse racing, a movement or group files that because they're seeing the irregularities and it's no longer a normal thing to see such deaths of horses due to mistreatment.

In an ideal society, the government is the representatives of the people. If people don't like the idea of horse racing (with the associated cost of the death of racehorses) then they will give it up without any decrees or orders. But if some people consider this to be normal and others do not, then it probably cannot be banned, since the priority of human rights and not animals should still remain.
They should but, there are those governments that would also look on their own terms and understand even if the people won't speak about it. Whether they see nothing wrong with it but based on the morals of what the government can see, they'll have to act on it.

3288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Commentary and commentators in sports. on: May 16, 2022, 09:31:21 PM
They serve their purpose but of course not all commentators are ok because you can hear some who are not fair enough to comment. Commentators are part of the media and we all respect media, this is the biggest reason why players right now are very popular and without that exposure, this can be just an ordinary basketball league.
It's because they have their own bias. I've heard of those commentators that were hype with their idols as they've become a commentator who is also playing the part of being a die hard fan.
They should be fair and remain neutral when it's all about their job and casting. But well, that's okay if they're not even being bothered by their management. It's very normal to hear and see those commentators so, just get used to it and enjoy those games.
3289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Terra (LUNA) recover some time in the future? on: May 16, 2022, 08:38:22 PM
If there's a chance, that's totally very little. Like not reaching 1% of survivability of the project so that's almost no chance but if you guys think you'll never dispose of the project.
It's you decision to hold it because you'll never know if there's a miracle upon their recovery plan and if it's going to work. But to me, that's it, very little chance of survival.
3290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your epic fail experience in gambling on: May 15, 2022, 08:13:35 PM
Worst experience is to lose everything but my most epic experience is when I gamble with my friend and that friend got kicked out of the casinos because he’s shouting asking for his money back, I know this sounds unrealistic but its true and this is the most epic for me aside from the losses. Well, we all have memorable stories in gambling, and we can really use that to learn on every situation that day made me realize that its ok to gamble alone and have your peace of mind even if you are losing.
That is real, it is like a typical moment in the casino that someone asks for the return of his money.
It is an epic experience for sure if you are the one that has experienced it. Well, so far I do not have that much epic fail experience in gambling but sure I have got lost a lot not only in online crypto casinos.
3291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 15, 2022, 04:35:51 PM
every thing that is allowed by the state (not only gambling but also investment assets) surely citizens will really believe it and think it is a normal thing, it is difficult to change that perception when the government (the group that has control over anything in a country) legalize horse racing.
There can also be times when the government changes their minds. It's because it's no longer healthy not just for their citizen but also for their country.
When there's a petition like in horse racing, a movement or group files that because they're seeing the irregularities and it's no longer a normal thing to see such deaths of horses due to mistreatment.
3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: May 15, 2022, 03:46:55 PM
I don't have to read that whitepaper but if it's an unfamiliar project to me, I'll avoid it. The best way to invest for newbies is that you should always target to have bitcoin in the first place. This is the best edition for newbies if it's about investing.
You'll see the importance of starting with bitcoin because just as you can see with the market. There are too many projects that have been down when bitcoin also goes down.
3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful! on: May 14, 2022, 10:37:35 PM
Careful yous guys. In this deep bear market there will be new altcoins that will be spreading around claiming they are one of the coins that were hit by the dump and might be a good decision to invest with because of their cheap price.

Just a bit of advise from a long time crypto investor. It happened to me and became a victim of it so might as well share it with you before you make wrong decisions.
As they say, "don't catch the falling knives".
That's the suggestion that I've been telling to my friends but they seem to be persistent and no one can stop them from this dip of buying those altcoins that keep on dipping. Well, it's their money and they can buy anything as they wish and as they want. As long as I've given them advise that do not catch it and if they succeed, that's their fortune and work but if they don't, then they have to learn from that experience.
3294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 14, 2022, 09:47:50 PM
If someone wants to be part of those altcoins that are risky currently and they're pumping and dumping. Make sure that you know what you're doing and you're not hoping that it will make you rich.

Make sure you already know when to buy, how much to buy, when to sell to take profit, and when to sell to take a loss in case you were wrong. It's not easy.
Yes, it's not that easy at all. Newbies and those that are interested in the trade think that it is easy when they see people making a huge profit as they trade. It's all well planned and executed but, many times are spontaneous with their trades.

Because if you're greedy and you think that it's going to be your once in a life time fortune, you need to be a thinker as you do it because that's where many are doing it wrongly.

You can be greedy, and just HODL Bitcoin. Best DIP to bid for the bear market will be near the 200-Weekly SMA line, which is currently $21,857.00.
This is way better than trading if that's the crypto that I'll be holding. Well, I've got that already and won't do the same mistake as before of selling too early for bitcoin.
3295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 14, 2022, 08:42:53 PM
EG are a tragedy, didn't expect them to be on the verge of elimination so early. Same with Vitality in the PGL Major, 0-2 record and one loss away from getting KO
There's something wrong and it's all about their coach, Bulba. He's always like this. One more day remaining for the group stages and they're out. I don't think that even if they win their match tomorrow against beastcoast, they'll get in. Just no, it's points system if they just happen to have par with all of their matches then probably they have a good points. I guess they have to realize that problem and they'll go home with a 13th-14th place the same with Mind games, without any prize and DPC points.
3296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook |250k$ Easter giveaway | VIP | on: May 14, 2022, 05:08:04 PM
i was able to register deposit and play at duelbits  with use of vpn .  they hit me with kyc with withdraw request

You are still lucky that Duelbits will just ask you only KYC to withdraw your funds because if you are using mediocre casino and committed this same violation to there ToS. There's a high chance that they will freeze your asset and ask you too complicated documents that will let you give up on claiming your funds.

Undergo the KYC or leave it there is your only choice since you are responsible to your action due to Duelbits didn't forgot to remind you about this on there ToS when you click agree during the registration process.
Yeah, in some casinos, they have potentially banned you already for breaking that one rule against them. But if duelbits has asked you for the KYC and they've detected that you did break the rule.
They still have spared you from that punishment and are looking forward to the compliance that you're about to do so that you can still get your funds as you request a withdrawal.
3297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 14, 2022, 10:04:19 AM
Before trading or investing we should know what coin we should buy either for long term or short term,
for shitcoin it's better when it's profitable to sell it immediately and don't think about holding it because it's most likely to make a loss,
and for the long term the top coin is the right choice and there is no doubt about it

3298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna holders will get new token. on: May 13, 2022, 08:35:17 PM
I guess there will be a positive impact maybe in less than 24 hours just to compensate for those losses. But eventually, there's one bigger place that many are thinking where it will go.
Everyone will start dumping it as much as they can and as quickly as they can because they don't want to dwell on losses and with the incompetence of the Terra team.
3299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another signal why to avoid CEX.... on: May 13, 2022, 07:10:22 PM
When I've seen an article that Brian Armstrong that said that people could lose their money on Coinbase while this hot issue with Luna is fresh. I'm not surprised.
He's frankly telling the truth and hopefully, those people that have put their whole trust in exchanges and using them as their storage should think again and avoid storing it there if they are not trading at all. It is also one reason why I don't do it anymore. When I was still new, I'm confident with it but after realizing that it shouldn't be a common practice, I never did that again.

Finally EG got there first victory on this ESL One major tournament with Storm Spirit in there line-up. I think they just want to prove that they can win Storm spirit despite how many bash they receive for using this here. EG is in better shape on Day2 and maybe they will finally change there draft this time around. JerAxmight be trolling Bulba to to keep SP draft until they win. Game 2 is on underway and its good to pick +0.5 for Boom with this match.
LOL Congratulations to them but they've lost their 2nd game against Boom. That still puts them at the bottom of Group A. And there's another team that's out of the tournament that has guaranteed their upcoming opponents a win. That's the team of Mind games, honestly, I'm excited to see them play with other teams on this group stage but they didn't make it, they also have the same issue as the Chinese teams about their visa.
