2341  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your take on Bitcoin adoption trust issues on: November 12, 2022, 10:23:51 AM
If teaching children about bitcoin adoption, it is a bit difficult in my experience, because children tend to not understand, and don't really care about finances.
We may have a hard time teaching them but they're teachable and easy to absorb new information that's being told to them. I can attest to that because I've seen younger kids this day and you teach them the new technology and they will respond so easily as if they're no longer a newbie about it. And as it goes on, relating it to finances, I find much younger age today that are now starting to give importance to relation to money because of how we have dealt with the pandemic and crises that have happened within the short span of a couple of years.

The crowd is with them but we'll see if this crowd would be disappointed after the next map. I saw them disappointed and gave dirty hands to simple because simple taunted them.  Grin

The crowd is very supportive of Furia since the challenger's stage. I think it is bad to taunt the crowd because that is just a distraction. They lost the second map, and they could lose the third map. Furia is in the lead right now and the crowd is going wild.
Yeah, it's really just a distraction and I think that is simple's weakness and he's just also encouraged himself to taunt them. Well, map 2 and 3 are for Furia.
NaVi could have ended the both maps but they didn't, well done and GG to Furia as the crowd really helped Furia to win on stage against NaVi.
2343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are going to realize the same thing about BNB and it makes me sick. on: November 12, 2022, 02:08:01 AM
I understand where these ideas are coming from after everyone has trusted the person that has been looked up to by many and even reputable companies, a major holder and investor for his company, FTX.

Who says the human beings at Binance aren’t plagued by the same things that drive greed and risk driven behaviors?
This is possible but I think so far, CZ and his company have always been vocal and transparent about what is happening to their company. Say, the hacks that have happened to them. Some other exchanges won't admit that they've got weak security that turned that incident into hacking. But them, they're telling they've been hacked but with a guarantee that funds are safe through their SAFU. I'm not defending them but everyone of us must take care of the funds wherever we are depositing it which we do in centralized platforms. And IMO, this is going to be a new trend for these companies, they'll be obliged to show their proof of reserve.

NaVi wins the first map. I thought that Furia will take it, coming from a lead and then Furia was able to go hand in hand as 14-14 before the first map ends. GGs to both teams and we'll see if what many are saying about Furia is true that the 2nd map will be theirs. But I've got those people who also said that this is going to be a sweep for NaVi.

Furia vs Navi can that goto 3 maps.  People are getting a bit carried away to suggest Furia can win the entire major apparently, shouldnt happen but home advantage can make anything possible.  I'll go with 3 maps for fun, arguably betting 0-2 for Navi win is nicer odds at 2.65x
The crowd is with them but we'll see if this crowd would be disappointed after the next map. I saw them disappointed and gave dirty hands to simple because simple taunted them.  Grin
2345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone teach me where have High Return Invest Program on: November 11, 2022, 09:00:24 PM
There are some bank products that I've seen that they call their "highest" profitable product which come close to 3%-5% annual profit per year and tax is not yet included.
@OP, we're basically talking about the reality of the investments that we may fall wrongly and you're not doing the right thing. Don't take it hardly when we're giving you an idea how these HYIPs are just gonna suck your money and you'll be left with nothing.
People who are looking for a quick way to make money are usually the people who lose the most money. People like OP who are looking to find the highest return, do not realize that the surest way to make money, the way rich people use their money, is the way to get rich.

Yes, you can't get rich that way and live a luxury life in a few years by spending 100 bucks on it, but it is the sure way. Invest 100 bucks per month every month for the next 40 years into just bitcoin, and then when you retire you will have so much money that you would be able to buy your own island. That type of wealth is possible, but it requires hard work and dedication, not greed.
There are two things that I can think of him, maybe he's really aware of the risk that he's about to have but he wants to get on it because he can eventually getaway with it.
Next is, he's not really aware of it and just saw it from any article or told by his friends that he's earned from such investments and that's why he's enticed to look for it without understanding how risky it is.

Since you guys have talked about Fnatic, let's go to its Dota 2 roster. After jabz left the team and went to Talon Esports, there's a big announcement that happened today and that is Raven's departure from the team. It's not because raven wants to be out but it seems a mutual decision to no longer renews his contract. And going to the China region, Ori has announced his retirement and that's because his parents want him to pursue his left degree for law practice.
2347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD I GO AHEAD TO BUY AND HOLD SOLANA? on: November 11, 2022, 12:28:40 PM
Guys what's your opinion about SOL? Is it a good buy or heading in the same direction as LUNA
It has a great community but looking at its security matters, makes me not want to invest in it. The next Luna is we know and that's the FTT, they're bankrupt but SOL I think is far from being that.
Although there have been hacks and security issues from it it seems that the community it has is solid. So, you choose what you think is with them. You're going to worry with its securities or not or you're going to buy because it has a community support.
2348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 10, 2022, 09:51:37 AM
Utah Jazz again with a win. Good job for this young team and their young coach Will Hardy. His player rotation is fine, but it needs some tweaks.
I saw Clarkson one time getting frustrated with Kelly Olynyk because he is not passing the ball while Clarkson is asking for it, and when he did, it's a turnover.
They're doing a good job and their standing is 10-3. They're up against the Wizards on Sunday while against the 76ers on Monday. So, starting today, they'll be having a good rest for the weekend until Sunday and be prepared for two straight games. Kessler did a good job for his entire playing time. These big men of Utah Jazz really are doing well whenever they're being used. This how it should be for the other teams that has big men.
Agree to that, the rotation of the players is good and we see how hunger everyone when they are inside the court, the players are doing their best to contribute.

Jazz still keeps on winning games, unexpected as before the league start the theory is they will tank
this season and try to find good pieces coming the next season.

But, the result is telling something else and they are now on top of the west side, something that
the fans are enjoying now.
That's the unexpected thing that has come to them and unlike the other good teams that we've thought will do good at the beginning, they've had a bad start and they keep on losing.
And I'm talking about the two great teams, Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets. Great teams with great players but they've been into too much hype and expectation from the fans and they deliver shortly and oppositely.

If anything, Bitcoin is the only thing staying true to itself in these times. Hold on to your butts, it's going to be a crazy ride.  Smiley
Agreed. It's always been the best choice that will never go wrong with anything to think about if it will shatter or not.

Binance refused to buy FTX after looking at the books.

Something like >9Billion in losses.

Marketing is continuing to sell off as a result of this news.

Guy had like +40B about a year ago and now look at him.
He's done. Total loss and in debt but will he able to pay that debt that's on him while having no trust from the people anymore? I think that he can if there will really be some helping hands on him. I'm worried for the entire company because it has got people working for him.

The rumors surrounding LeBron James and the Lakers right now are hitting crazy levels.  Now that they've continued losing even with Westbrook playing well people are starting to point the finger at Anthony Davis.  Today there's even an article out saying the Lakers could trade Anthony Davis to the Nets for Kevin Durant.  As much as I'd love to see Durant and LeBron play together, it seems like that isn't a realistic possibility.  I thought the same thing about Carmelo Anthony though so who knows...  One thing is for sure, people want to see the Lakers do something before LeBron runs out of time to add to his legacy.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/nba-rumors-lakers-could-land-kevin-durant-in-a-super-blockbuster-trade/ar-AA13Tb5Z
Fans will always be fans and will look for some fault for which they can point their fingers. I saw those trade possibilities and most of them are fan-made but the team can really look at it if they want something to change. But isn't it going to be another start for them?
We saw how these superstars play all together and they're not really looking good to see. These teams should look at those teams that don't have many superstars yet doing better than them.
2353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto dump is just getting started? on: November 09, 2022, 09:27:47 PM
Galaxy Digital also have over 70 million dollars tied to FTX Exchange, they are now withdrawing 47m $ and already at a loss of 68m $, I think we will keep seeing some more dips.

Is this all planned work or just the brutal of a bear market because it seems that in every bear market worst things like this always happens.
It may not have been planned but this bear market really is exposing a lot of things. No matter how bullish things may still be but if it's shown during the bear market, it can't be helped.

Now I have no choice but to believe that 10,000$ BTC is possible.
And now that's of possibility as bitcoin showed under $17k for now. That's the lowest that we've seen since the last time that it has made to $17k. It's likely to continue falling under that price.
2354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling today and lesson i learnt on: November 09, 2022, 08:24:03 PM
Stay where you are good at and if a decision you have wanting to quit then just do it for good. It may hard at the beginning and you'll feel that you're going to win back those losses and you might experience those huge wins again, just don't think of it.
Clear your mind and have yourself really set for quitting and don't ever go back again. But most gamblers tell that and eventually, they're coming back and playing again.
2355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will win, FTX or BINANCE? on: November 09, 2022, 02:09:08 PM
I don’t know who will win, but I just feel like if the CEO of the biggest crypto exchange fudds about competitors, we all gonna loose.
There's already a winner and that's Binance. Binance will be taking control now for FTX. They've just acquired it and that happens just this day.
So, I guess the purpose of this thread is now done and over because we already saw who's the winner that you're asking for between the two.
And the clear winner is that there's a new acquisition that has come to take place and that's the usual thing and business these days of Binance and it won't be surprising if another big exchange is being overtaken by them.

exactly! there's no point of discussion now as binance acquired ftx.com. of yet, another unexpected twist in this crypto market. this will not be the last surprise that we will read before this year ends. all along, i thought ftx is doing good because they are seen as one of the big crypto-exchanges known to crypto traders. but then again, won't know what's happening up until this kind of news.
There will be more exciting happenings in the market and it's not just limited to these big companies that have been acquiring each other and patting each other's backs. Many have really thought that FTX is doing well not until CZ publicized what he's about to do and that has made the FTX team worry about what they're up to. Well, having this said, that has made the acquisition so quick as it just made it look like that they're being helped by Binance to overcome this problem.

2357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 08, 2022, 09:03:18 PM
So, this match is just a month and a few days to wait. And this match is already booked in Duelbits and look at high the odds are.
1.02 for Naoya and 11.00 for Butler. Well, just like what the crowd is talking about Naoya who's going to win this match but if you're a gambler and you believe on some lucky punch of Butler, this is going to take a lot of risk if you're going to bet with such amounts.

The odds were already available early but if only the ML odds are out for now, it's not attractive for bettors as no one would bet on Inoue with an odds of 1.02, that was insane, although he will likely win, but would your risk with that 1.02? I guess we should wait for more alternatives.
Yeah, it's too low and not that much to win if people are going to bet for him and that's why even if many know that the upper hand is with Inoue. They may literally go to gamble and bet for Butler on this match if the odds won't change as the day approaches by.

So, this match is just a month and a few days to wait. And this match is already booked in Duelbits and look at high the odds are.

This kind of odds simply stated that Butler is impossible to win against Inoue.  Though it is very attractive odds and it is a way for sportsbooks to lure people into betting making the event profitable for them.
And that's true but we will see if there will be some changes in the odds because that's how it goes. As the day is nearing to the fight night, the odds could also change but I don't think it will be that much.

No KYC and no restrictions and respect for privacy. You will really attract more users that way but I hope that you still have plans for those that might see something on your casino and offers that might be abused by them. Anyway, it seems that the new casinos coming out are offering good house rules and it might be a way for you guys to be on a speedy way to the top, hope so. Good luck.
2359  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 08, 2022, 08:59:13 AM
There are people that are only for employment and don't want to complicate themselves in managing their own business and assets. But I'm sure that they'll come to the point in their lives where they will realize that it's time for them to upskill and upgrade as they can't be employees forever. Like this pandemic has made, there are many jobs that are not pandemic proof and what if there's a worse scenario that comes that shall affect majority of the jobs.

Starting and running a business is not an easy task. There are some persons that would never dare to take the risk of investing or establishing a business. If everybody becomes self-employed who would be the employees that would carryout the daily task of these businesses. People that have intention to start their businesses in future can work in a firm with the aim of understudying how such business operates. This can help them to start and operate their own businesses. Others that are not skillful in running their personal business should ensure they invest wisely, so that when they retire they can have some funds or income to fall back on. Yeah Bitcoin and real estate would be viable investments.

There would always be employment opportunities. It is true that the Covid-19 pandemic affected many jobs negatively, but it also brought new business opportunities that gave massive employment to job seekers.
That's one reality of life that not everyone can be a businessman. As of now, there are still a lot of opportunities for everybody but someday in the future, another reality that will start to sink in is there will be lesser opportunities because of automation, AIs and robotics that will be adopted by most companies. While we're not yet there and we still some good opportunities right now, there's a need to be wise in paths that we take and the money that we have and put it on profit generating assets.
